Greenhouse Four looks much the same as it had the previous lesson. The round tables with stools were still set up in the working space, and the atmosphere in the greenhouse was positive and aromatic. Professor Bentley, dressed in forest green robes with a black fur trim is waiting at the front of the class beside the blackboard, the notes are written in her cursive writing.
There are no teapots this lesson, but there is a small basket for each student, waiting at their seat.

Annabeth was proud as she had almost all the ingredients needed to the blend. She put the Dandelion leaf, Nettles, Licorice on the table and cleaning everything using the Scourgify spell. Then she took a small knife and minced the dandelion leaves and the nettles, then she pointed her wand towards the minced herbs and said the incantation, waving her wand with the circular movement required to dry them: "Siccus Aerous!"
The hot air dried them in a blink. Then she cut the licorice's root and again, she cast the spell on the sliced root: "Siccus Aerous!"
Anna saved the dried herbs and the dried root into the bag with the dried apple. She took the basket once again and began searching Cloves and Mint.
Blair took a seat and began emptying the herbs from her basket. She decided she would start with the bay and borage. Placing them on the table in front of her she pulled out her wand. Making two small clockwise circles she said, "Siccus Aerous!"
Nothing happened. Come on! She thought you were able to do this for the homework why not now? She tried again "Siccus Aerous!" warm air began to blow from the tip of her wand. She smiled as she watched the herbs slowly dry.

Minerva was feeling pretty good about her herbs at the moment and she couldn't wait to tell E what all they've been doing. He would be interested since it was one of his loves in life. As she looked at the herbs she moved to her next one. Moving to the Cedarwood she pointed her wand and began the circles over top the plant. "Siccus Aerous" Watching as the Cedar wood dried she continued her movements making sure it was fully completed.
Blue eyes raised as she heard Professor Bentley dismiss class and she looked down. So they didn't have to finish the herbs before leaving, well she thought about collecting her things and heading out, but she was actually having fun with this and the fact that she was having fun with plants made her want to stay a little longer. Moving to the Lemon Verbena Min started doing the little circles, "Siccus Aerous" She continued her wand movements until the herb was dried.
Turning she cleaned up her workstation, she probably should be headed to her next class so the last herb would have to wait, but at least she knew she could do it and it was fun. Placing her parchment and quill in her bag, she holstered her wand and turned to head out of class. "I'm really enjoying this lesson Professor, it's really going along the lines of what I want to study at Uni, so this has been a great way to start my studying." She smiled towards that woman. "Have a great day professor."

The peppermint didn't take long, and neither did the horehound. It seemed like it only took two minutes for it to dry which was good though. Kat didn't want to keep waiting because she obviously had another class to go. She even planned on picking something from the Great Hall before actually going to her next class. At least nobody had to pay just to eat anymore, right? It was horrible last term. They were living through water, porridge, and ice cream. The ice cream wasn't even safe. At least to Kat it wasn't.
Moving on to the jasmine. Wouldn't be so bad, plus Kat could spare a few more minutes to get this herb dried. She'd finish it before they were finally dismissed... as in, when it was time for her to leave. "Siccus Aerous," the Head Girl said and waited the herb to dry up. Hmmm. At least after that, she just had to deal with the sarsaparilla, pack her things, and leaaaave.
Go on, Kat. A little more patience.

Ahh nice and dried out. Now on to the ginger and sage. Blair had a rummage through her basket for them and placed them on the table next to the others. Picking up her wand again she spoke the spell "Siccus Aerous."
Thankfully it worked straight away this time. That's the business, she thought. This was quite pleasant. As she blew the warm air on her herbs she wondered what the tea would taste like. Hopefully the herbs will complement each other

Once the jasmine was dried, Kat set it aside with the horehound and peppermint... but not exactly mixed up together. They were still separated. With the three of her herbs dried, she only needed one more to work it. That was the sarsaparilla, yeah? Kat took that one and sort of examined it for a while. It looked like just one of those ordinary leaves of herbs you'd see. It was probably the first time Kat got to actually hold a sarsaparilla leaf.
"Siccus Aerous..." Kat said, then waited for the sarsaparilla to dry. After this, she was officially done and she could then finally leave. Hum de duuuum... how many minutes would this take? Kat didn't wanna keep blow-drying her herbs with her wand for a lotta minutes, you know?
...
.....................
Okay, that HAD to be done by now. Once every herb Kat dried was done, she cleaned up her work station and packed her bag. Yeah, she was outta here. "Thanks for tea-rrific lesson, Professor," the Head Girl smiled. SEE? She made up a word for Professor Bentley. Okay, that was good. #KatrinaHudsonOut

The ginger took a little longer to dry but it eventually dried out all the same. Lastly Blair pulled the horsetail and hibiscus out of her basket. Once again she made two small circles and said "Siccus Aerous!" She blew the warm air on the herbs and waited for them to dry.
Blair was thinking if the tea turned out well she could make some for her father. I'm sure he would be really pleased to hear she had based a tea on him she thought. This of course was assuming it tasted alright. She was a little apprehensive about tasting it herself actually.
---
Finally all of her herbs were dry. She then carefully packed up her work station, ensuring not to drop any of her herbs. Blair packed her belongings into her bag and got up to leave the class. As she reached the door she turned to the Professor "Thanks for another great lesson Professor" She smiled as she left the room.

Two ingredients left. Mo stared at the turmeric rhizome with a certain amount of disdain. WHY had he thought this was a good idea? It was totally different than dealing with leaves and things, and no one else seemed to be staring at a hunk of root. So maybe people put turmeric in tea and drinks all the time? That didn't mean Mo had to...
Except it was the pretty part of his ode tea to Professor Pretty, and therefore essential. Mo carefully wiped away all the dirt with the heavily burdened sighs of a genius at work. SIGH. "Diffindo Diffindo Diffindo." Mo diced the root into small pieces, just about the same size as his petals and leaves and things. It should all look pretty uniform in size, if different in shape, color, and texture.
Mo spread the pieces of turmeric and the hawthorn berries across his work station and ran a preliminary blast of hot air across all of them in wide circles. "Siccus Aerous. Siccus Aerous." It didn't take more than a cursory glance to know that hadn't done a bit of good, and Mo had to run more than a few more rounds of hot air across the batch to dry out the dense rhizome and rock-hard berries. "Siccus Aerous."
He was fairly certain all his materials were well dried now (finally), and Mo carefully gathered everything back together into a tidy pile of ingredients. He washed down his workstation and packed his text before turning to the professor. "Thanks for the lesson, Professor."

Oh great. Caleb was falling behind! Setting aside his dried peppermint and chamomile herbs, he decided that he was going to go with the lemon balm and then he'd be all set! He grabbed his basket and located the plant in the greenhouses - it was kind of hidden in the back, but there it was!
He began to pick them, but he knew that he wouldn't need a TON of them since he didn't want them to overpower his peppermint herbs. So he got about a handful and headed back to his desk.

Oh! Was it almost time to leave already? Anyway, Adi was almost done. Just two herbs remained to be dried. He placed them side by side on the table and raised his wand. "Siccus Aerous!'' The first one was soon dried. "Siccus Aerous!'' And so was the other! He was done!
Adi quickly cleaned up his work station and repacked his notes in his bag. "It was a fun lesson, Professor!'' he told Bentley on his way out. Yep, it most definitely had been.
And then there was Tora.. did she need something? Or was she just ... off daydreaming? "Something the matter?" she asked..
Ahhhh, the Professor was free for questions now! Tora smiled big and hurried towards the professor, pulling out her parchment as she went.

"As you can see, I was thinking of using Pine for friendliness because it promotes positive thoughts and happiness and the like, but I didn't know where I could find pine. Also the other thing is the Fanged Geranium which I am really scared to harvest..." she trailed off suddenly very interested in studying her parchment. She didn't have a fear of carnivorous plants! Nope! No such thing!
Annabeth rushed around the greenhouse to pick up Mint. After taking a beautiful sprig of Mint, she placed it on the table and cast the incantation once again. "Siccus Aerous!". The hot air dried the mint and a pleasent scent filled her nostrills. It reminded her the small bag her friend gave her to use as an amulet: it contained cloves and cinnamon. Anna smiled and searched for it into her bag. It was heartbreaking having to undo the small bag, but she needed to finish Jory's blend. Anna took a scissor and cut the bag, letting droping its content on the table. Quickly she gathered the cloves and the cinnnamon and put everything into the bag with the other ingredients. It was done. She grinned and then she shook the bag mixing the ingredients. Anna approached her nose to the bag and sniffed it. It had a wonderful aroma, she could bet Jory would love it!

Hhhmmmm... very good question. "There are a number of substitutes, perhaps you might want to consider rosemary, meadowsweet or lavender?" she mused, at some of the accessible options. At any rate, that was some food for thought, the Ravenclaw would figure it out.
...
Seren was pleased to here the students enjoyed the lesson, personally it was a bit tame, but it was a part of the curriculum... so it was best to get it done and dusted. "You're welcome," she replied to most, but her eyes popped at Minerva's gratitude. It would help her in Uni studies? She was... studying potions? Healing? Something along those lines? "Excellent, I'm so glad to hear it," she beamed. The only thing that brightened the smile of her face was a punny farewell from the Head Girl. Tea-rific? Seren chuckled, "Wonderful," she replied, unable to think of a pun in return. Shame.
Checking the time quickly, her brows rose in alarm. Right then, time to get moving. "Finish up what you're doing, tidy and off to your next class please... or you'll be late!" she announced to the remaining students. "You'll have plenty of time to complete what you haven't yet done, for homework."
And speaking of... she needed to go back to her office and write up the notice. She lingered long enough to usher the last of the students out, before checking everything was in order and departing herself.
