Mischa ahead of Regina stepped calmly into the arena. Moments later he was not surprised to hear the gates slam shut behind him. He was immediately intrigued as he gazed ahead of him for there stood what seemed to be an endless amount of rows of bookshelves. He slowly approached the aisle where the seemed to be some sort of light.

Ahem. Was she late?

Having found other things to occupy her time with as of late, Regina had been scarce around the Scottish school. She was still completing homework and attending classes, yes, but not spending as much time with her own schoolmates. What fun would that have been, anyway? The sixteen year old, who'd just celebrated a birthday, spent enough time about them as it was.

Finally getting the owl that her task was starting, she made her way to the Durmstrang arena, infinity pleased that she'd be tackling this one with Mischa. He was gorgeous and older than her. So, as an aside, Regina decided she'd be more focused on doing her best.

As she entered and the gate closed behind her, she stepped forward, momentarily stunned by the amount of books. Mischa was already present, and not wasting time, she moved to join him. Also, there was a strange light drawing her attention further towards the books. Were they meant to find a particular one?

"Mischa, hopefully I have not kept you vaiting too long." It was a partially distracted tone, considering how she was eyeballing the books. They both knew they was dealing in Defense and Numbers...but which were they actually starting with? What type of book would they be searching for?

Once you enter the library, the door closes shut behind you, locking you in. Just as your eyes start to wander around the large amounts of books, a piece of parchment flutters to the ground in front of your path, which reads:

Young witches and wizards, do not despair,
with a little luck and some wits, you won't lose your hair.
Pick me up, one of the pink books in sight,
and you will see, i'm quite the tongue-twister if not picked right.


Your task has begun and the clock is ticking. For which book you select shall determine your fate.

Mischa was almost to the bookshelves when his attention was caught by something fluttering infront of him. Before he could catch it what seemed to be a piece of parchment fluttered to the ground. He quickly bent and scooped it up. On it was what seemed to be a riddle. He read it slowly; his brain already working quickly to figure out the answer.

"Regina,'' Mischa said and handed over the parchment. "Haff you any idea about this?'' In the meanwhile his partner thought about the riddle he had an idea of his own. Pink book the parchment said. Curses and Counter Curses was pink. That was not the sole reason Mischa was selecting the book off of a shelf though. They had to start somewhere and if he was wrong well he was wrong.

The moment the boy's hand seemed to find the book and select it, he might feel his tongue start to twist and tie. Perhaps he ought to try another way of getting the book?

Mischa's fingertips brushed the book but it was enough. His tongue was feeling strange. it seemed to be twisting. Tongue twister the riddle had said. Mischa jerked back his hand. It seemed that pulling it off of the shelf was not an option. Another way perhaps was summoning it.

Mischa aimed his wand at the book preparing to say the incantation and do the wand movement. "Accio book!''

It seemed as though the book was unresponsive to the summoning spell... though it bobbed slightly in its place.

Perhaps there was another way to get the book off the shelf for you to work with it?

Summoning was not an option either? Mischa watched the book. It was bobbing some what. No removing with his hand nor summoning. What to do then? He pondered. Perhaps..... it was worth a try.

"Locomotor book!'' Mischa said. His wand was again aimed at the book.

Regina had read the piece of parchment...and was now staring at both Mischa and the book that had started to bob in place. What was going on? Why was it doing that? Her eyes narrowed, glancing around the library suspiciously. She assumed for a moment that someone was playing games with them, considering he couldn't seem to summon it...or physically touch it. But there was no one. They were alone; apparently.

It would need to be secured by magic. It was the only thing that made sense...Also, seeing as the parchment had mentioned hair falling out, along with the tongue-tying,...pardon her for not getting too close. Regina knew she couldn't pull off that look.

"If zhat does not vork, Mobiliarbus vould be vorth a shot.....or Vingardium Leviosa." Both spells moved inanimate objects in some way, though Mobiliarbus seemed the likelier choice. It'd been wholly designed for that purpose.

Regina pulled her wand, too, feeling like it needed to be in her hand at all times while in this thing.

Locomotor did nothing either.

Except that the bookshelves started to shake, as if an earthquake was about to happen all the books would tumble off the shelves. Hurry. Time doesn't standstill.

But a spell that moves an object should prove to be effective.....

That did nothing either. Except cause the shelves started to shake terribly. They needed to hurry and he was willing to try Regina's suggestions. "Mobiliarbus is used to levitate and move trees is it not?'' But he would give the other one a try.

''Vingardium Leviosa!''

The book responded to that spell, as it levitated off the shelf and hovered in front of the boy, waiting expectantly for what might come next....as if holding the answer to the next step ...

The book is locked shut. If you would like to know what curse is on it, a certain spell will reveal as such....
