| | Library Payment Center Before you can open the door to the library, a big line of multicolored turnstiles magically materializes out of thin air to effectively block your path. You cannot go around the turnstiles and using magic on them will not have the slightest effect. If you want to enter, you need to pay a flat fee of 8 sickles to get in every time you wish to come in. You insert the money in the little hole on top off one of the turnstiles. The turnstile will then unlock and will allow you to pass through and get into the library. OOC: The turnstiles will be seen by everyone regardless of year, house, or age. You must make at least one post in here before posting elsewhere in the library forum this term. If you don't, watch your back. AND PLEASE NOTE: You CANNOT go around, under, over, etc. the turnstiles. Not only are the little bars physically blocking your path, but they also as a whole act as an invisible force field barring you from the library until you pay. Please cooperate with this portion of the plot or your posts WILL be deleted. |

| Sardines ♥ BHB ♥ Dallie ♥ Grumpy ♥ MY SUN AND STARS ♥ i love julia Well... this was new. Piers was reminded of the feast at the beginning of the year when the Headmistress had told him of their financial crisis and he wondered if this was supposed to help with it. How interesting. He wasn't a fan, but he wanted to see the changes that had been made to the library since the last time he had visited... a long time ago.
Digging out 8 sickles, Piers dropped them in the turnstile and slipped inside. |

8 sickles. He counted them out and paid before slipping into the library in search of the spell he needed.

Sighing Zoe had to go to the library and at least this time had remembered her money bag and took out the sickles she needed and inserted them before heading through the turnstile. Really irritating. She had almost every book she needed this term, but now that none of the shops she had sent for this book from carried it!

| SPNer | Whovian | Sherlockian | | Artist | Cornhusker | Blackhawks Adelaide made her way to the library to look through some books to start studying for her OWLs. Yes, they were months away but she was behind so the sooner she started studying the better.
Once she got to the library, she frowned at the payment center. First, they had to pay to attend a class. Now to study and learn more. That was just cruel. She dug around in her pocket for some sickles. Thankfully she actually had some. She made her payment and then entered the library. Now she felt the need to spend even more time here.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Louise Fellen Third Year | Jupiter's Satellite She must pay? Well, if she must, then she would. But she wouldn't be happy about it. Tora scowled as she plinked the coins (One sickle, two sickles, three sickles, four, fivesix) into the turnstile and entered the library.

Approaching the turnstile, Bethany dug out 8 sickles from her pocket, made her payment, and quickly walked into the library to find that book she wanted.

Minerva was in a hurry, yes a hurry and these darn turnstiles were just on her nerves this term. She loved the library, but paying every time to get in was just a pain. Honest to goodness it drove her mad that she had to do this. Pulling out the sickles from her bag she dropped them in.
Now that she was all paid, could she please be on her way for studying. Finally she made her way through and headed to her favorite spot in the entire school.. Of course the stained glass windows.
____________--Gaston--____________
Minerva walked towards the dumb turnstiles. She had been spending so many sickles at this place lately, but she had to for studying. How else was she going to get the marks that she wanted. Turning to Gaston who she was showing around she gave kind of a sheepish smile. "We hate these, but right now there isn't anything we can do about them." That was about all the comment she had for why they were there at the moment. These students had to think that was crazy Hogwarts own students did. "Don't worry about paying, you're a guest I'll get it." Dropping the eight sickles in for Gaston and then the eight for herself she turned to him, "Alright ready to see the library?" She gave a quick glance to see if he was ready before turning and walking through the turnstiles.

She gave a quick glance to see if he was ready before turning and walking through the turnstiles. It was with his pearl smile on his face that Gaston had followed the Hogwartian all the way to the library. She was a talkative one, with a beauty of her own, but talkative and therefore he deemed the library the perfect place for girls like her. This way they would still talk, but not as much, not that Gaston would mind much on a day like today.
At the turnstiles Gaston watched the Prefect walk in and began fumbling in his pocket for a few sickles of his own, but before he could she returned and paid for him without him even having a chance to ask her not to. It was ungentlemanly, if anything he should have paid for her. "Zat was not necessary. I was 'oping to pay for you, you zee. Next time eet will be on me?" He flashed his smile to make sure it was mad his face irresistible than before."But let's go see the library." In reality he had already seen it, but he'd spoil the fun if he had said so.
Gaston walked through the turnstiles and continued to follow the blonde.

Eight sickles. This was beyond ridiculous, but Bronislava pulled out the required amount and dropped the coins into the turnstiles before pushing her way through. It might be an inconvenience, but she had studying to do of more than just the subjects of her expertise. Besides, the study tables of the Slytherin common room were too noisy today and she needed a change of scenery. For reasons.

Cutty ran ahead of Forrest, which giving the other boys burden of books, he had figured he'd be able to do once they began their walk towards the library. "Not to worry, Charlton. I've got us both." The candy business had at least been profitable enough for that and he pulled out the 16 Sickles to cover their entry. Cutty knew what he was really paying for was information. And not just what was written between those books.

This couldn't be happening, except it WAS happening. Alexa Cambridge was paying to enter a place that could offer nothing but books. The thought was still odd to her, even as she inserted the 8 sickles but it'd be worth it. She needed a couple books for some supplementary reading.
Having hexing books were all good and fine but a bit of extra knowledge on the subject wouldn't hurt and she knew just the man to help with this.
