Minerva listened and thought about what all went on in the maze. She couldn't remember all of what she read, but didn't she just give an answer in the previous question? Well anyway she listened to a few answers and shook her head at Alexa's. She adored the young lion, but she wondered if the girl had to much sugar for breakfast. A shudder went through her when the young snake said about fighting the plant. No thank you Minerva would have quit right there.

Putting up her hand she figured she would just answer it again. "Professor there was the potions we had already discussed as an event inside the maze." She put her hand down, yes she should have probably thought of a different one, but it was an event that happened in the maze, so it did answer his question.

He didn't know anything before, so he was curious how this question was supposed to go for him, yeah? S'not like he grew up like everyone else in the room. He knew nothing about the Wizarding World aside what he had been taught and what he had learned through osmosis. And since this tournament that they were all chatting about was ages ago...it wasn't current events.

So no, derp face, Ascanius couldn't answer your question.

So...Yeah. Nigel knew some facts about the tournament like who won, who participated, and Duncan had awesome hair. That was a fact. But Nigel did not know what happened in the maze. He did not feel it was important. Fletcher won anyway. But that was a ton of magical creatures to deal with in one maze. Guess that is why it is the triwizard tournament.

Since Nigel was not answering.

It was time to listen and wonder why Professor Dursley took one shoe away from some people. Obsessed with feet, maybe?

Adi grinned as Professor D clapped for him and the other girl. This lesson was turning out to be a fun and exciting one. The complete opposite of what he had expected. In all honesty, Adi thought he would have been asleep. But instead, here he was having a great time while learning about that Tri Wizard tournament. And wriggling his toes.

So what did happen in that maze? The eleven year old had no idea, however he made an educated guess. "Professor, I would like to think they got lost,'' he said waving his hand a bit in the air. That would make sense, right?

Kace was learning a lot about this tournament. He copied down the notes and he copied down the events that happened during tournament. He remembered someone telling him about the return of voldemort and how it changed the wizarding world completely.

Then he heard the Professor move on. He wondered what happened in the maze? Kace had NO idea. He heard the other student's answers and agreed. He agreed with Adi's answer. "Professor i agree with Adi and Alexa on their answers. I am pretty sure some of them got lost along the way."

Yep, Sky actually agreed with Alexa on this one. Er, about the pictures thing anyway. Because if she was as clueless about the last question as she was, what made Professor Dursley think she knew anything about this question? So, she was just going to sit here and take notes.

What? No. West put his hand up. "Its definitely Raiden Kururugi, professor." Definitely is. That was a former Slytherin Prefect, West had seen his name a million times in the trophy room.

Also.... was he really wearing that girl's shoes? For reals? Blink.

"Yes, but Duncan Fletcher didn't get lost." Because he won, right? Right. Alice peeked at Dora again and nudged her best with her covered foot, because shoes were still on. Questions later, okay?

But for now... hm. This guy didn't know his material, did he? West was correcting him, and that was never a good sign. And he was wearing his students' footwear. And not at all as pretty to look at as Vinteren.

Alice yawned. Could they leave yet?

Yeah, Penelope still didn't know these things. The knowledge of what happened in the maze wasn't gonna just suddenly appear in her head, even if that would be nice. Certainly a lot easier than studying would be. But even with the others shouting out answers, that wasn't gonna happen. So if this was gonna be on the history OWL, she was probably gonna fail. Unless she studied, but she had already accepted the likelihood of failing this OWL if she took it. She was fine with it. It wasn't all that important to pass like some of the other subjects.

So with that in mind, she continued silently observing the class and half-listening to all the answers people were giving.

Yeah Nerida agreed with everyone, a bunch of things happened in the maze... But really she heard that no one could even see any of the contestants, so how could they be positive that this stuff was real! Hmm. She only knew some stuff though not the details, she knew who was in it, what the events were, and who won the Triwizard Competition.

That right there summed it up.

It seemed that these two were still stuck on the last part of the question."Ms.Wheatborn, Mr. Newell, Venomous Tenticula and potions, were in the First and Second Task. I asked specifically for any information you hall had on the third." He'd figured they weren't paying attention, but they seemed fully aware though most of the class.

Tiberius continued to admire the shoemanship of these clunkers on his feet, and raised an eyebrow when he another student decided to speak up..."No I'd rather not, we've moved on from that part of class. Besides all I had were these three images. So I could just put down that image of Bartemius Crouch again." she was also giving the obvious answer everyone else seemed to only be giving. Which was really disappointing to him.

What?...Was this TALL Mr.Odessa questioning him. His book on the Third Tournament had written Kuruguri...not Kururugi. He looked moved to a drawer of his desk. To double check on the name of Raiden. He skimmed the index and noted that his book had Kuruguri. "Mr.Odessa we shall take a look at your source of information later. For now we shall just call him as Raiden K."

He let of what sounded like a sigh, but could have passed off as a mousy squeak. "While you are all correct in the manner that they got LOST in a Maze. That is a major purpose of any maze, but I'm not teaching you about mazes" Seriously, Mazes. What was with mazes and this school? "Because I did not hear any form of answer I was looking for I'd like you all to study on this final task of the 2072 Triwizard Tournament, and write a brief essay on it. Detailing the order of events that took place within. You will find that there is information on it." As proven by Ms.Bishop just now, and by Ms.Moretti before. The information is out there. "This is not your Homework. I will include it as extra credit, but I highly recommend you capitalize on it. I shall have your Homework after class on my noticeboard" He stood up by the door and grabbed all but the shoes he wore from his desk and stood at the door. "Pack up your books, and roll out." That meant Class was dismissed. "You lot enjoy the rest of the Day." Or before their next class.

? Man! Adi preferred practical stuff over writing. But never the less, he quickly copied down what Professor D wanted them to do before replacing his stuff in his bag. he now turned his attention to his socks and shoes.

He was mighty tempted to walk barefoot all the way back to the common room. Just for fun. Could he? "Better not,'' the firstie decided. Professors won't see that as fun, so he pulled them on his feet and then made his way to Professor D. "Professor, great lesson! I thought it would be rather boring but it wasn't anywhere near there.'' Adi grinned. "Until next time! Bye, Professor D!"

Sarah had drifted off to dreamland AGAIN! Usually it was plotting, living some character of her's life, yet now it was her life. SInce when had her life become so exciting. She was dreaming of various things that she did not even hear what the professor asked. The second time she had managed to get her head together.. oh she knew that questions. So now the professor thought they were stupid or something. But no she got extra credit for it when it came homework time. Wait, was he wearing someone elses shoes? Poor person.. well as least the professor was not barefoot, or else virusses could be spread. Sarah even wore shower shoes in her shower at home.. one could never be too careful.

What.. it was over. "Thank you for the lesson" she called after him. She slipped her shoes back on. Noticing that others were missing there shoes Sarah said, "if you need shoes to get out of her with, I know how to transfigure some". She was not defeating the ends of justice, what happened with the students and the professor was between them, but she could not have people working around barefoot in the winter.

The Gryffindor might have flown out of her seat a bit too eagerly but eh, that was life, yeah? She was over History of Magic, in fact she'd never liked it in the first place. Too many things she didn't know about. The sudden rush reminded her of Ancient Runes classes back in her first year when they had Runes Guy. Don't be Runes Guy Professor Dursley, he died, and she would like to imagine he died painfully. No need to find yourself in the same position.

Lex slipped on her shoes as fast as her hands would allow her to. "Bye Professor!" She wouldn't let the door hit her on the way out. Homework would be looked out for and HAHAHAHHAHA the way he thought she'd bother herself to do an essay that wasn't legit, obligatory work.

Just no.

Oh, good, researching and essay-writing. That was something Adrienne could do, no problem. She blinked, a bit surprised, as class was dismissed - didn't it just start? - but, uncomplaining, packed up her notebook, quill, and ink and slung her bag over her shoulder. She pondered her socks for a moment, then decided to just scrunch them up into a ball and toss them into her back as well, carefully avoiding her nose as the smell was certainly not pleasant. Then she slipped her shoes on over her bare feet, wriggled her toes once more, and stood up with a soft sigh. Man, she would pay to be able to just sit all day. Or to be able to apparate so she never had to walk anywhere. That would be nice.

"Bye, professor, have a nice day," Adrienne said, surprisingly un-grumpy sounding giving how lazy she felt, and headed for the door. Please Merlin don't let her have Herbology next...

Well she some how missed him saying not the second task, she had heard Maze and her brain must have just focused there. Oh well it happens, right? Well she wasn't going to get upset over it. Sitting and listening some more she couldn't help but give a look, he wanted them to write a paper on top of homework. That was just great in her mind. More things to keep her busy, sign her up.

Pulling out her parchment she wrote down the notes about the paper and then gathered her things. Not to bad of a first class, but she did hope they would have discussed the competition a bit. "Professor will the students be told more about the competition that will go on this term? I know some have read it in the prophet, but nothing has really been mentioned here." How was there to be an academic competition if no one knew it was going on? She was just a little confused on this.

Kace was hearing the professor talk about the tournament. He took more notes and then as he was in the momentum of taking notes, he heard the class was over?

Blink....blink....

Well that was fast! This class period went by sort of fast. He heard the professor saying that he wanted them to do ? Ugh....he didn't prefer writing papers. Writing wasn't his strong point. Good thing he didn't need to copy down his homework because he would post it on the noticeboard. He closed his book, put his quill down and packed them both into his bag.

He slung his bag over his shoulder and said, "Thanks for the lesson Professor!" he said waving his farewell. He did learn a lot this class.

Dora felt familiar eyes on her, but she was too busy giving her name card all the attention to spare them any return glances. And she didn't want to look back. Was West correcting the professor? She was almost certain that was going on. Kind of interesting that. But not all that surprising.

She nudged Alice back, out of habit. No looks though. For more reasons. She folded a piece of parchment into a small creature, passing the time til the class was over, and once it was she quickly packed up her belongings and left the class, noting the assignment. No stopping to put on shoes since she never took hers off.

Sophie did the whole 'jaw drop...clamp mouth shut...jaw drop...clamp mouth shut' routine a few times before she finally clamped her mouth shut and didn't open it again. A detailed essay?! BUT WHY?! She didn't even know recent history--only prehistoric history! Well, not that long ago, but not recent either!

BAHHH.

She wondered what would happen if she just fell out on the floor, book bag and all. Maybe somebody would at least roll her out the door. After all, that's what the professor had said to do--roll out. Meh. That would take too long. So instead, Sophie just grabbed her book bag and walked robot-style out the door, wide eyes and all.

Oh yes right the competition! "Right, well I'll have something on it for Homework. So as I said keep a close eye out for it once it's up." He was rolling on his heels in these interesting new shoes he had obtained, and was saying his farewells to the rest of the students as they left his classroom. Now the Hufflepuff Prefect could be on her way next so he could get back to reading that book on Animagus.
