The driver and snack lady sit waaaaaay up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here! Careful you don't sit in the Prefects' cab though. They bite.

Anya, after getting off the carriages, found her way to an empty compartment. She slid all the way across the seat to the window. She then looked out of it and heaved a long sigh.
Well... bye Hogwarts. Bye Hogsmeade.
She then checked her watch. Now... how long would Jake be? He couldn't have much to go over with the other Prefects since the term just ended.

Nerida looked back at Hogwarts before getting onto the train. The boat ride was amazing. She couldn't believe that it was bye to Hogwarts. Walking she found a compartment and walked in, seeing Anya she gave a smile she smile. Sliding all the way to the window on the other side. "Hey Anya. How have you been?" She hadn't spoken to her since the trial other than in classes. Or maybe she had and had forgotten.
She looked out the window. Hogwarts.

Was all Jun could think of when he got onto the train. The term was over which meant traveling and no claustrophobic dorms. But that meant that he'd have to suffer in the heat which was a big NO NO for him. Out of everyone at home, Jun was probably the only one who hated the heat. He'd much rather it be snowing than having a heat wave. Gross.
Walking onto the train, with his trunk and a small bag, Jun quickly snagged an empty compartment and set his trunk away. He was at the front of the train, though usually he was towards the back but it didn't matter to him anymore. Sitting down, he opened his smaller bag and began eating some of the candy he bought specifically for the trip home.
It was a long one after all.

After dumping her trunk in the storage compartment, Charlie clutched her holdall to her chest and began to look for a compartment. Preferably empty, or with someone she knew in, because she really wasn't in the mood for meeting someone knew. She needed to catch up on her sleep, and her lists, and get all mentally prepared for summer.
SUMMER.
How perfect was summer going to be? Working and meeting designers and watching fashion shows and being Tam's best little helper and work experiencer ever and -
"Hey, Jun." Charlie grinned as she lost her train of thought at the sight of him, sliding open the compartment door and flopping down opposite him.
Were those sweets?

Caleb didn't really believe he was going home until now - right now, when he was finally on the train headed home. He wondered if Mum and Dad looked different since the Easter holidays - probably not, but it felt like a million years since he'd seen them!
Sighing and smiling happily to himself, he plopped into an empty compartment and closed his eyes, leaning against the wall of the compartment. He was ready for a nice break, not having to worry about any schoolwork...

Anya gave the Ravenclaw a small smile in return. "Pretty good." she said with a nod. "Congrats on graduating." Because that was a big deal. With the suckiness that was the trial, Nerida really deserved a congratulations for making it and adjusting so well.
She then nodded toward the window. "You going to miss it?"
And by that she meant Hogwarts, not the window.

Ugh. Having no one to share the compartment with was boring. Even a little first year in here would keep Jun entertained or at least awake enough to stare out the window. But no such luck just yet. Just as he was about to put his sweets back into his bag, saving them for later, the compartment door opened. Jun grinned and threw his arms in the air.
"Charrrrllllliiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!" he cheered, almost dropping his sweets onto the floor. But yay for a friend to share a compartment with. Though, he would've been just fine with anyone walking in here. Yay for new friends too!
Setting his arms back down, Jun remembered the bag of sweets he had. "Would you like some? I bought too much for one person to eat alone,"

Nerida smiled good. Graduating... Yeah that actually happened. "Thanks, I can't believe I'm not coming back here next year..." Craziness. "Its a nice accomplishment, a good ending to Hogwarts." and all that came with it. She knew it wasn't over, the woman was still out there but for now it was over.
Looking out the window she nodded, "Yeah Hogwarts...Hogwarts. I'm speechless, I can't believe I'm graduating. I remember first coming to Hogwarts and being afraid of the Sorting Hat!"

People were good. Company took her mind off of herself and her dad and... other people. Not that she was in a bad mood: Charlie had cheered up considerably at the prospect of summer. Sun, and travelling, and interning.
She couldn't stop grinning every time she thought about anything remotely connected.
Grins were happening, now, and also because she had a friend! To share the long journey back with and all that jazz. "Careful," she warned with a grin, because if those sweets ended up on the floor and she didn't get to try even one.... Well, that was totally not fair. And it was like he could read her mind! Charlies grin widened as she took her seat. "I would love some." Even if she'd eaten herself full to bursting last night. Speaking of. "You enjoy the feast?"

Theo was very excited to get home, but he wasn't sure why. Being home usually got boring from day two of summer, but he definitely did need a break from school. With OWLs, Quidditch and just other stuff, Theo was feeling extremely deflated. So applying for a Diagon Alley internship was the best idea in the world, right? -_-
No, but really he was totally excited for that.
Dragging himself along the front of a train, Theo sat down on a chair and brought his knees up to his face and hugged them. 'Cause he was a little bit chilly, a little bit tired, and he just wanted to be comfy.

Wow, finally! She couldn't bare hearing the sound of her owl for one more minute. Now it was AWAY with luggage. Happy ride or whatever. Her ears were ringing. Man. She needed her hearing, thanks a lot. After doing so she wandered around the corridors thinking of where to settle. Hopefully to find one of her friends as well. She was going to be very careful about whom she was going to share the compartment with. Because on the ride to Hogwarts she had an unpleasant experience.
The soon to be sixteen year old padded the corridor until she reached the front cars. Casually she started poking her head into cars until she stopped by one. Occupied by Theo!
In she went and sat on the seat in front of him. "T'sup," she grinned at him swinging a leg over the other.
Was he cold? And where was Dora? So many questions but she asked only one. "Excited for summer?" because the two didn't get to chat during the feast like they usually did. Which was a sad one, the feast was.

Finding a compartment shouldn't have been a problem at this point in West's Hogwarts career. It was even at the point now where he could kick younger kids out of them if he felt like it. He didn't feel like it. He also didn't at all feel like riding in that prefects car because... well.
... yeah. It felt wrong. He hadn't got to on the way to Hogwarts, so he wouldn't on the way back. Next term maybe.
For now though he was looking for somewhere to sit and... perfect. Theo and Cassia. There probably couldn't BE better people to sit with right now given his mood. He was quiet when he appeared in the doorway, filling it with his height.
"Hey."
He sat next to Cassia, across from Theo, gave them both quick smiles, and then turned his attention to out the window.

Okaaaaaaaaaaaaay, he was definitely drifting off to nap land.
As his eyes started to roll, he was joined by someone which jolted him back into life. He dropped his knees down and looked up vacantly at whoever disrupted his imminent slumber. Oh, but it was Cassia. Couldn't be mad at Cassia. Theo smiled instead of frowned.
"Hey" He said kinda lazily. Summer, summer, summerrrrrrrrrr... Theo wasn't much of a planner for summer things. "Uhh, kind of. Just super glad to be out of school, I spose." Because school sucked this term. Sucked bad. Theo paused just to quickly go through in his head how much school sucked. Yeah. "You doing anything nice?"

West had been like that a lot lately, so he immediately put it down to Alice.
Theo didn't question it, of course.

Careful.
Pfft. That was something Jun never was. Only because he enjoyed the adreline rush of not being careful. Which caused him to have a broken arm, wrist, and many bruises. Especially with the type of brother he had. Their poor parents. Jun grinned as he held out his bag of treats towards Charlie. She had plenty of choices to pick from. From minty to lollipops. Chocolate to his all time favorite..
SOUR CANDY!
Oh, the feast. Right.
Jun nodded. "Wasn't anything too grand, like at first feast, but still enjoyable," It would've been a bit more enjoyable if Jun hadn't caught a strange cold towards the end of term. He was still recovering from it now. "Did you plan anything for the summer yet?" He asked.

Oh,Oh, was Theo here to rest nap or something. Did she just disturb him? Well, if she did she'd just leave. Naaah. Not really but she'd remain silent for him. She would do somethnig FOR Theo. No questioning this.
But he didn't complain so it was all good.
Just what she thought herself. "Yeah, I can understand that." Because she wasn't THAT excited. Except maybe for her coming up sleepover. But other than that she had nothing planned. At least last year she wanted to intern, this year she didn't.
And there were those OWLs results coming up. Eww. Not cool.
"Yup, pretty nice." she answered him with a thumb-up of her hand. "Got rid of OWLs, eh?" Her voice implied so much stocked stress released at that statement. Relief, too. And It always felt like she and her friends were always looking out for each other even if they weren't saying it out loud. And as if on cue, West came in and sat with them. It only made sense that they three sat together on the way home.
"Heey," she greeted back the tallest snake of all. Between the two of them she really was the dwarf. As if instinctively, she found herself pushing up in her seat. Not that it made any difference.
Same as the feast, the look on West wasn't one that could be cheerful. She had assumed it was because of everyone was leaving and all. Uncluding Lafay's news which was shocking. But now she come to think there was something bigger. Her eyes flickered to Theo and he had that look on his face and he didn't ask what was troubling West meaning he knew or knew it was delicate. So she followed Theo's steps in that, he'd know. 'Cause terror twins.
"You guys thinking of interning this summer?" she casually asked conversationaly. A norma sort of convo would be good, yeah?

Y'know the one thing that could make a West smile when he was meh was his best buddy in the whole world? So Theo's 'hey' got a genuine smile. A tired one, but hey, progress.
Shrug though. What WAS up?
"The usual." And really that was true. There was ALWAYS some kind of Alice related drama for him right? And Theo was a really good mate not to be all 'I told you so' every time too.
He gave Cassia a quick wink and slouched in his seat with that air that only the tall could pull off convincingly.
"I am interning at QQS this summer." Paaaause. "And I've got Quidditch on most weekends, and practices twice a week." Paaaaaause again. "And me and Ascanius and Vesper and Nigel are gonna have band practice on Wednesdays. You guys could come hang out with us some time if you were keen to listen and stuff. And I can get tickets to some of my games as well." He looked at Theo. "And you should come to the open tryouts. The week after next."
See at least he had a lot of things to keep himself busy.
