Madness was a good way to describe this class. Nigel had his crystal ball in the proper place with the candle and everything. But everything around him was so much more interesting. All the crystal balls breaking and Ella and Tag looking like they had just be hit with langlock.

Funny Stuff.

Yeah he was not going to be doing the yoga-sih stuff. But the breathing exercises seemed pretty cool. He was suppose to do till four or something. Once that was over it was time to focus on the bigger question. Why is everyone leaving Ella and Tag like that?

This is Pure Chaos

Time to do breathing exercises. He learned how to do this in Romanos class. He took a deep breath in....then he counted to four. One....two...three...four and then held his breath on a count of two and then released. He actually felt calm and relaxed. He did it again one more time and then felt like he could concentrate. Now he had to do muscle movements or exercises what the teacher called them.

He had to roll his neck four times slowly all the way around. He rolled it once....all the way around. Two....three....and then four. He felt his bones crack in his neck and it felt great. He breathed out feeling refreshed. Now he rolled his shoulders and he felt them crack and after doing it the fourth time, the muscles felt relaxed and not so tense. Now he had to kick his legs? Uh...this was getting funny now.

But he heard a crash from a crystal ball and that distracted him. He tensed up and turned around and wondered what the matter was.

Okay. Moving on. Adi paid close attention as Professor Elwood spoke. Crystal balls on stand that had just appeared. He decided he would use his hands. He trusted them more than using the spell. So he did just that. He held the ball in his hands and the cloth as well and carefully set up the ball on the stand.

Entering the Beyond? The young boy stared at Professor Elwood. Surely this was all hocus pocus. But he adjusted his chair, anyway. There was a candle soon directly behind him.

Oh great. Next came yoga. Adi rolled his eyes. If his mom were here, she'd be loving this. Adi followed the instructions, breathing the way they were told to. Inhale to four. Hold to two. Exhale to four. Hold breath out to two. Professor say what? Was PE somehow blended with this subject? Adi rolled neck and head around. One,two,three,four. Next, he did the stupid chicken wing roll thing, both arms at once. Gosh, he felt stupid. Feeling even more silly, he raised his little legs and kicked. Up, down, up, down... for ten seconds. The last step nearly caused Adi to laugh out loud. What a funny thing. Sit straight, shoulders up and contracting his bottom's muscles. Not liking Divination so far. Nope.

Suddenly! What were those crashing sounds? Adi practically leapt out of his seat, he was so startled. Why were students smashing the balls? Automatically, he reached up and grabbed the one on his table and clung to it. Didn't want Elwood putting him in detention. And who was that walking in circles over there? He doubted that was part of the instructions. Adi squinted. Was that Captain Ella smacking Alec with her cloth? What was going on?

Realising he was out of position from the last instructions, he quickly let go of the ball, sat up straight, shoulders back and bottom's muscles contracted.

Minerva was so excited for this lesson. It was going to be great to finally get to use the crystal balls. Amazing and everything. Once she was done rubbing her ball clean she waited for the next step. Listening to Elwood Min decided just to pick up her crystal ball and set it down. Thinking about what she might see, she wasn't paying attention to anyone around her.

Now that her ball was on it's stand she took her cloth and began to rub out any marks she might have...

Blue eyes snapped up and blinked a few times. She was so deep in thought that she looked around the room as she heard balls breaking around her. What was going on? This was strange. Than Ella was acting nuts and so was Tag. Before the seventh year could even think to do anything Wade seem to be on it, so she sat quietly and just watched.

............. okay.

West eyed the carnage and then quietly put his own Crystal ball on the stand in front of him, carefully placing it there with the towel.

There was no way all this ball dropping was legit. No way. Strange things were afoot at the circle k divination tower. Just like at the Observatory. Slytherin here. Suspicion was the norm. He didn't say anything though, just readjusted his stand and adjusted his seat for the candle light.

... he was NOT down with doing any of that breathing stuff though, given how Romanos had almost got him killed with her 'techniques' the previous year.

He wasn't gonna breath funny or clench funny or anything, just sit there, vigilant and suspicious, because honestly, things weren't right.

".... langlock." He said quietly, after watching Ella and Tag and the head boy trying to fix things. Yeah. Yeah. He turned his attention to certain foreign students. We're onto you, Durmstrangers and Beauxbatoners. He hadn't seen anything but honestly, who else could it be? And they'd been around the observatory too, and who knew where else? But he kept his mouth shut and his suspicions to himself.

Causally being ignored by the boyfriend here.

COOL.

It's not as if Ella just hit people for no reason, y'know. She was clearly trying to get his attention. CLEARLY. And she did get it until the crystal balls started smashing on the floor. NUUU! Ella flinched and refused to look at the damaged goods, knowing how upset Elwood would be. Speaking of upset, was her boyfriend's chin wobbling? Nice to know where she stood on his list of important things.

Ducks, Puppies, Crystal balls, and Ella.

Tag was having trouble too, did he know? At least Wade had noticed. Ella looked relieved and nodded as Wade pointed his wand at her. Thank Merlin. FOUR FOR YOU, HEAD BOY. YOU GO, HEAD BOY!

And exasperated looks for Alec Summers.

Anya vaguely looked around. Why was she so vague. The incense was getting to her. She was so in the divination zone.

She carefully used her towel to put her crystal ball in the stand. And then adjusted herself so that the light was behind her.

... and then raised her hand.

"Professor. I haven't started breathing yet and I see exploding glass." She was going to die, wasn't she?

Oh wait. Why were people so loud? Did they hear it toooooo?

OR MAYBEH THEY SAW THE EXPLOSIONS!

Wade smiled back after his attempt on Ella, he was sure it had worked. Afterward he aimed his wand right at Tag as he went up to him, "Finite." Aiming right at his mouth while saying it. That should've done it right? He looked around right afterward at the crystal balls that still laid. His brows furrowed as he wondered who would've done it. He didn't know anyone in his school that would have a motivation for it. Hm.

Whowhatwhenwherewhy?? What just happened??

Lily jumped slightly when the 5 crystal balls fall to the floor. Luckily, her crystal was still sitting on the stand. It didn't look like anything was wrong with it... but the redhead wasn't completely sure. All she knew was that she didn't want a bunch of broken glass nor whatever was happening to Ella.

Wait...

What was wrong with Ella? And some of the others apparently...? Lily was very confused and didn't know what was going on. Professor Elwood... HoH? Were you gonna do something to deal with this??

Kace was glad the head boy took care of it. The head boy was quite awesome. He agreed. Plus he gave hair ruffles. He was the master at that. Well Kace might as well finish his exercise and he kicked his legs for 10 seconds like he was swimming in the water. He felt silly but it was working. His soccer playing legs made it easy and he didn't pull any muscles. But now he had to work on his bottom muscles? He chuckled at that and wondered how he was gonna do that.

Well he contracted his butt muscles a few times. It felt weird. He didn't like it too much. But he was mostly done with the exercise he waited to see what the professor had next. Thankfully the crystal ball didn't break.

Ahhh. Yes, thank you Wade. Tag smiled up at him and said, "Thanks!" Hey! That can be a very dangerous spell, especially if someone breathed through their mouth, yeah? But thankfully Tag didn't so he had been ok. In the breathing part. Not in the part of being a victim. Whoever did that was in big trouble!

An Wade seemed to be in deep thought about things. Looking around some more Tag realized, because he'd been walking around like a confused chicken, that some crystal balls had actually shattered. Professor Pretty Blonde, would not like this. Especially since they were new.

Tag sooooo wanted to say 'You can't trust those foreigners." But since he didn't see anything, or it seemed like no one else saw anything he wouldn't voice his opinion. As far as he knew, no Hogwarts student would go to the measures of deliberately hurting Elwood's feelings over her new equipment.. He hoped.

Eyeeees.

Caleb jumped when he heard the sound of a crystal orb breaking...and then another. AND ANOTHER. He counted five crashing orbs and looked around. How did all of them suddenly just fall and explode like that? Unless it wasn't a coincidence...

Had the notorious prankster struck again??

He stood up and turned to the professor. "Professor! Someone did this, it wasn't an accident! Just like the chamber," he said, crossing his arms and looking around the room. He just KNEW they had to be connected! It made perfect sense!

Now WHO did it...he EYED the foreign students, knowing it just had to be one of them. Those outsiders.

Karina grinned across Strom at Mischa. This had to be his doing. She smirked a bit to herself and casually levitated her crystal ball. Breathing deeply, she stretched and allowed her muscles to relax. Honestly, this was her favorite part of Divination as she got a chance to just let go. She didn't have to be in the Beyond to feel good; she closed her eyes instead. Her thoughts immediately zoomed in on what was happening around them and she smirked again. Very nice, Mischa, very nice

Having decided that the shattering crystal balls and the jinx on her fellow classmates wasn't enough of a reason to stop her work, Lily continued on with her task of preparing for her divine readings.

Just as her HoH had said, Lily slowly shifted her chair to be closer to the candle. Wasn't this dangerous? Having a flame behind them where they couldn't see it? Either way, Lily knew she needed to pay attention and do as instructed, so she shifted enough to be directly between the crystal and the candle.

Wait... what was she supposed to do next?

Alexa had only just lowered her seat a bit to get the candle light over her shoulder when suddenly there were crystal balls exploding all around her. How unfair was THAT!?! What'd a girl have to do to get her glass to blow up around here? This was a dark enough room, no one would know if she blew her own up, yes? But something else might give her away.

Instead of doing the breathing she looked around the room and spotted what looked vaguely like someone casting at someone? Could have been her imagination it being dark and all....and she was all for listening to that silly little voice in her head.

Warfare?

Was this a legit thing? Like battle of the schools in a dark Divination room where no one could really complain because technically they saw nothing? She was game, game for not getting caught mostly. Lex put her wand just below her table, concealing it. The dimly lit room was a big help with this. Her aim was toward the Durmstranger (Mischa) over there and muttered softly the bat bogey hex.

Of course she couldn't be all that certain about it, dark room and all but her aim was usually good on this kind of thing. Looking as natural as possible she then began that breathing thing or pretended to as she watched Caleb hop up with another conspiracy theory. Pffft, shut up and hex, who's gonna know in all this?

Taylor stumbled and accidentally bumped into Lily. She fell on her butt and looked up at the younger claw. "Sorry, Lily..." Tay got up and dusted herself off. Taylor started to clean her crystal ball again... which thankfully she had caught. She glanced at her friend, "You okay... right?" She sighed and looked at her then back at the crystal ball. Rub... rub... rub... if this was a lamp i would have 3 wishes... first wish: to get out of this class, second wish: to get out of the drama that the gossip had made and third wish: to forget about Harvey... Taylor sighed and kept rubbing it until it shone with the clean glassness of it. Tay laid it down on the stand. She glanced around the room then at her friend.

Mo treated his crystal ball like a baby, which meant he was still swaddling it in the towel when the first crash happened. And the second. And third.... fourth... fifth! He nearly jumped out of his skin, startled by the sounds just as the incense and heat and mood lighting were starting to take hold, and Mo did NOT feel like he was going into the Beyond today.

And he didn't want to let go of his crystal ball, 'cause they were apparently slippery. Very carefully, Mo removed it from the table and set the ball on the stand, buffing off his fingerprints before sitting again.

Were they REALLY supposed to do the breathing and stretching and things when all that... chaos had only just happened? He shifted away from Alice to sit in front of a candle, although his bright, inquisitive eyes caught hers before moving on to the crash sights. Vesper. Poor kid looked super extra traumatized.

"Try Reparo," he hissed at her. Helpfully.

Vesper continued to stare down at her broken crystal ball, unsure if it could be fixed with magic. If it could, YAY...but...she didn't know about whether or not the crystal ball would still work...

Suddenly, she heard someone hissing at her. BLINK. Turning towards the sound, Ves seen Marcus. Had he suggested 'Reparo'? Well, that was easy enough being that it was a charm...and charms were her thing...but would the crystal ball still work? That was her question. Not...that she's asked the question out loud. So, that wasn't Marcus' fault...

Slowly getting out of her chair, she kneeled down, pulling her wand. Doing the motion, she whispered the incantation and leaned back. Crystal shards were flying together and fixing themselves...A few moments later, the ball was once again whole and Ves smiled. A BIG ONE. She'd fiiiiiiiixed something. Awwyeah!

"Thank you, Mackamo," she whispered back.

Of course, now she had to polish it again...

The Ravenclaw picked the towel back up and got to work.

Lily was just about to move on to her breathing when Taylor bumped her, causing the sixth year to knock her crystal ball off the stand and headed towards the floor. Being a chaser with fairly quick reflexes, the sixth year dove and managed to catch the falling orb before it smashed.

Breathing a sigh of relief, the redhead climbed back into her seat and set the ball back on the stand, gently using her cloth to rub the fingerprints off again. In a hushed whisper to Tay, Lily said "Yeah... sure, just dandy..." She was okay, just uber jumpy after the smashing crystal balls and now being knocked into. Whatever the professor wanted wasn't necessarily gonna happen today... this claw's readings were probably going to be way off.

Taylor sighed, "Really am sorry..." At that, Tay looked at the candle then her crystal ball and positioned herself in between the two and sighed. She didnt trust a candle behind her but the professor wouldnt do anything to harm them... right? Well... she used to completely think that but she wasnt sure anymore. Tay sighed and looked at Lily then back to her crystal ball. It was time to clear her mind and breath... right? Right... like that would be easy to do... with all the gossip and drama... Nash... Wade... Alec... Harvs... She sighed and frowned, rubbing at her temples, trying to focus her thoughts but she was having a hard time.. how can she do her breathing if she cant clear her mind. Tay turned to Lily, "How do you clear your mind?"

Focusing was hard... especially when someone couldn't sit quietly and focus. Lily shrugged off Tay apologizing again because it wasn't necessary. At least the crystal ball hadn't broken...

Now she had to breathe right? That's what was supposed to come next? Slowly, the sixth year tried to breathe quietly... in...1..2..3..4... out...1..2. Or was it supposed to be in 2 and out 4? Lily was all confused and sorta frustrated when Taylor asked a question. "Uh... what?" was Lily's uber helpful response as she tried to figure out what she was supposed to be doing but wasn't doing.

"Welcome," Mo gave Vesper a grin before turning his attention back to his crystal ball. Were they continuing? He'd... give it a go, at least. Candle light streaming over his shoulder, crystal ball carefully balanced on the stand, and Mo... breathing. Just like he was supposed to be doing.

In and count... out and count... in and count...

"This is sorta romantic lighting, huh?" Mo fluttered his eyelashes at Alice across the table before grinning broadly. "Bet you wish I was someone else."

Oh, he was meant to be breathing. In and count... out and count...

Not bothering to react to the chaos occurring all around her, Alice instead continued to polish her crystal ball, nonchalantly taking looks around the room while she did so. Ella and Tag having speaking issues... balls breaking... and West... talking to himself? What was he even muttering about? Bangkok? Wasn't that a city in some country in Asia?

Guess mumbling about country capitals was what you did when you read too much.

Except as she adjusted her seat to where it was in front of a candle and set her crystal ball on the stand before her, blue eyes flitted over to the female Durmstranger's again. The one who'd caught her eye in the Common Room. Fishy one. Alice kind of watched her for a bit, her mouth especially. A couple seconds later, she was kicking at Mo under the table and whispering a mile a minute.

Was he eyelash fluttering? Now? Really?

"That girl. That one. Durmstraggler. She's smirking. Why is she smirking?" Did he see it? Did he? Alice kicked him again for emphasis.

Marigold STARED at the crystal balls falling and breaking. WHAT NO THIS WAS NOT GOOD STOP BEING CLUMSY *flails*

But steps. Marigold breathed in and out. She carefully placed her crystal ball on the stand, rotating it slightly. She polished it more because polishing stuff is fun.

CANDLE.

Marigold moved her chair in front of a candle, looking at the shadows it made on the table. ... Was this not the time for shadow animals?

BREATHING. WUT. Marigold eyed the teacher, then closed her eyes. One two three four.... Hold one two... Exhale two three four... And repeat. Marigold found herself relaxing into almost a trance. Mmmm. She was sleeeeeepy. Rolling her shoulders, she tried to stay awake.

Four times right?

One, two, three, four.

Then Marigold did the chicken thing four times too. What did this do? How was this Divination? o.O

Kicking, like she was swimming. Geez, it has been forever since she had gone swimming. Anyway, she extended them straight out and kicked for ten, nine, eight, seven, six, five, four, three, two, one.

Then her bottom muscles. One, two... This was strange... Three, four.

Eyes on you, professor.

Heh. Vilhelm winked at Mischa, who he was almost sure had done something to do with the Hogwarts students flailing around. Placing his crystal ball on the stand almost carelessly, he did the rolling out the shoulders thing. Taking his wand out, he pointed it not noticeably at some of the students. He was pretty good at nonverbal spells, every since his parents had taught him, so he hit mostly Hogwarts students with a toenail growing hex. Heh.
