It was quite dark up here. Dark and eerie feeling. Not the best atmosphere for a small blonde to walk into alone but hey, she was brave. Maybe.

Ella's eyes took a minute or two to adjust to the lighting and when they did, she was able to make out Professor Elwood. Oh good, someone was up here. Not...that Ells was scared. NOPE. The seventeen year old smiled and headed past the woman, curious as to what they'd be doing in the dark. "Hello, Professor. Nice to see you." No desk today? Alrighty then.

The sixth year then headed to a seat in the corner and organized her things. Boyfriend and badgers and friends would be along soon, yeah?

Divination!

Was he excited for this lesson? YEAH! So much so that the boy was hurrying along towards the North Tower, all the while trying and failing to look cool. Cool was not his thing, was it? Should he give up or...? He reached up a hand and ruffled his hair, deciding to let this go. He'd probably have to ask someone's opinion on this. Probably. If this wasn't an incredibly awkward question to ask.

Alec stepped up into the classroom and looked around. It looked... dark in here. Maybe a little darker than usual since the corridor underneath was slightly better lit and there weren't any curtains on those windows. His grey-blue eyes took in various things about the classroom, such as the candles, before landing on... "Hey Professor! It's great to see you!" And he grinned. Widely.

He gave her a small nod before looking around the classroom again at... OH HEY GIRLFRIEND. Why so far away? Because Alec had planned on sitting at the front of the classroom while he was making his way up here. And now... a momentary debate was taking place in his brain. He shrugged before heading over towards her and sitting down on the seat near hers. "Hey!" She got grins too.

It was sure dark in here, wasn't it? Wade his way to the tower where Divination usually took place. It was like his last Defense Against the Dark Arts lecture where everything was all dark and kind of calm with the candles lit. Hm.

After a moment of waiting for his eyes to adjust to the darkness, he smiled at Professor Elwood. "Hello, and good day Professor." Nothing like coming in to improve his studies. Afterward, Wade chose a seat near the corner Ella and Alec was at. They both got a smile from him too while his hair moved a little whilst waiting.

Divination.

Adi had noooo idea if he was going to like this subject. His mother very much believe in all this stuff but he and his dad sort of shared the same view- it was subject to questioning. But Adi was open minded and just maybe the lady sitting in the chair could change his view.

"Hi, Professor,'' the first year said with a polite smile. "Aditya Rehman, first year Hufflepuff.'' Best introduce himself, right?

Adi made his way over to where his fellow badgers were. "Hey, guys!'' he said, dropping into a seat near Alec.

Zéline Labelle was still not happy about Beauxbatons coming in third place and honestly, she wasn't happy about having to stay in that castle for longer.

Even though she was not in a mood to mingle with the English speaking students, Zéline still wanted to attend Divinations because it was her favourite subject and it might help her feel better.

Too bad it was all going to be in English... Zéline sighed after sitting down by herself.

Kace made his way to the divination classroom. He wasn't used to the stairs he had to climb. He was a little out of breath and felt sweaty. He might have to do that for exercise one day. Yeah he might.

As he made his way into the classroom, he noticed the professor was in the room. He always found her very nice and she did know her stuff. He smiled and waved to the professor, "Hello Professor, how are you?"

As he made his greeting, he saw he wasn't the only one right here. He waved to all of his fellow puffs. "Hey guys!" he smiled to all of them. He even saw Wade's curly hair standing out. He grinned at that. Then he took his seat next to his favorite buddy Adi.

Caleb wasn't sure how he felt about Divination. It seemed cool and mystical and all that stuff, but was it really worth it? Was any of it actually REAL? Hmm. He'd just have to find out for himself!

He wandered in and flashed a smile at the pretty Divination teacher. Ok. One point for Divination! Hehe. "Hello Professor!" he said happily as he took his seat. Oh, he probably should have introduced himself, being a firstie and all.

Eh well.

Mo was very eager to get to Divination, considering it was one of his favorite classes. One of his favorite professors, too. Hehe. Mo gave Professor Pretty a loopy half-grin as he entered the classroom.

"Mood lighting, Professor? Is it in honor of Valentine's Day?" He tried to avoid stubbing his toe on the furniture as he took a spot near that little Caleb-firsty. Only briefly, Mo considered offering to let the professor be his valentine, but that was probably taking his appreciation a bit too far.

This had to be the first time ever, but she had Divination class and she wasn't coming from the longest most ridiculous distance ever. This put the lioness in an even better mood than the one she usually showed up in. Once again there was no candy on her desk. She was beginning to think it'd been a one time deal and was coming to terms with it.

"Haaaiiii Professor!!" BEAM. "Excellent class timing I must say." And more beaming. Coming straight from here Common Room, same floor and everything.

She took note of the dim lighting in the room. Questions, she had questions but first she needed a seat. Alexa found a seat that suited her just well and flopped down in it. A little ways over was a French girl she'd seen in the competition. So they were sharing their Common Rooms and now they were sharing classes too? Mmk, sure.

"Are we gonna get to practice pyromancy today?" Juuuuuust curious.

Walking into the classroom for Divination, Sky couldn't help but notice that it was darker than she'd ever seen it before. Not pitch black, but candles didn't give out that much light and the light they did give off was dim. And why were candles the only source of light, anyway, when the room had plenty of windows?

Uh-oh. Were they going to be having a seance? Because that's what the professor's table made it seem like..... She was just going to sit as far back as she possibly could. Close to the door here. Yep. "Hello, professor." No malevolent spirits please.....

Elvis or someone like that would be okay, though.

Next to Potions and Charms, Divination was one of Claudette's favorites and she had been eager for class to begin. She climbed up the tower and up through the trapdoor, entering the classroom. Oh.. dark and moody.. she wondered if the lighting would have anything to do with today's lesson and her green eyes took in her surroundings as she slowly made her way through the room.

Passing the professor, she gave the woman a small smile. She was her Head of House too, right? Claudette remembered Professor Elwood from the opening feast. "Good day, Professor," she greeted her before turning and taking an empty seat.

Minerva was excited, she had been anticipating Divination all term. She loved this class and Professor Elwood was a great professor. Walking into the classroom she stopped for a moment. Why was it so dark in the room. Her eyes needed to adjust to the darkened room. Once they finally did she walked further in. "Hello professor, how are you today?" It hit her as she looked around for a seat that the last time she was in this class she had been acting not completely right. Well she would be on her best behavior this time.

Smiling as she saw Claudette, Min moved and sat down next to her. "Hey Claudette, do you mind if I sit next to you?" She had been so busy lately she wasn't even sure she had seen the claw much. Min decided she really needed to take some time for her friend. Pulling out her parchment and book she got ready for class to start.

Anya entered the classroom. And then proceeded to smile noticing that all the shades were drawn. "I knew you'd give in and let us have nap time." she said happily passing the Professor.

... and if it wasn't nap time... Anya may or may not fall asleep anyway because it was nice and dark.

And so the Gryffindor picked a seat far from the front just to avoid setting a bad example for the first years. Yup. She was responsible like that.

Up and up Tag made his way into the Divination classroom. He liked this class, and Professor Elwood. An she was a nice Professor, which made the class more enjoyable- Tag figured. Even if he semi-struggled with the material sometimes.

Well the classroom was exceptionally dark today, yeah? Tag didn't find it too weird. Elwood wasn't a shifty professor or anything. Maybe she just wanted the room to have more of a comfortable feel? The little blonde went up to Professor Elwood, where she was sitting at her desk, and gave her a huge Tag smile. "Gooood morning Professor! How are you?!"

Was it morning? Mid-day, afternoon? Tag merely shrugged his shoulders at his own thoughts.

Marigold was pretty happy this morning, nothing to do with Kace and so she headed to Divination with a broad grin on her face. Nodding and blushing a little at Kace, she greeted the professor.

"Hi Professor Elwood! How are you?" she asked. She made her way over to sit next to Kace. She leaned back in her chair and wondered what they would learn today.

So Divination. Sure it would be fun. Professor Elwood was amazing and all, plus she did tend to put lots of activities in her lessons which sometimes made up for the not-so-boring lectures. It was weird to know that Kat hadn't actually fallen asleep in class yet. Well, in this class. Actually, she hadn't fallen asleep in any class at all. Maybe she'd reward herself with something if she managed not to fall asleep until the end of the year? You know, before graduation. No big deal.

"Hey Professor," Kat greeted her with a smile. The others, too, got nods of acknowledgment. Ella, Alec, Head Buddy, Caleb... okay, she knew most of the people in this room. So they ALL got to be acknowledged. Also, there was a Beauxbatons student in here too. Didn't know HER though. Too bad.

Then the Head Girl took a seat and waited for the lesson to begin.

Nerida trudged up onto Divination, slightly sad. Bad news in a letter but she would be fine. Divination was always fun..."Hi Professor Elwood! How are you?" she asked. She made her way over to sit in a chair and waited...

Divination was always fun so maybe it would brighter her mood.

Divination class.

Hmm... Sophie just didn't know about this one. For one, nobody in her family was any good at telling what was going to happen in the future. Aunt Sierra swore the whole thing was rubbish, but she stuck through it 'til the end for some reason. Sophie decided she'd give it a try, too, because if nothing else, it might be really easy and give her a good mark to bring home to her parents.

She filed into the dark classroom and joined the others waiting for the lesson to begin.

Headmaster expected his students to keep up their studies while at Hogwarts, and so she had climbed steps and may have gotten lost when they suddenly moved to join a Divination class. She hoped that they would be doing something interesting today, because although she wasn't bad at Divination (she wasn't bad at any of her subjects) she often found it boring. Every now and then Divination would cross with her own era of expertise, Astronomy; then it was interesting.

Even if this class was not going to be a good one, Karina needed to be here, and so here she was. She walked up to the Professor sitting at her desk and nodded. "Hello, I am Karina, one of the students from Durmstrang, I believe I will be joining classes from now on," she stated cool as ice. It was respectful to introduce oneself to the Professor, and so Karina was respectful, not friendly. She wanted to give the impression that Durmstrang was respectful, and so needed to be respected in turn, and that they were not here to make an abundance of friends. This was a competition.

Soooo, Divination and that.

Benzi didn't think too much of the subject, other than it was REALLY high up in the castle. And he was a Ravenclaw, so that was saying something.

Slowing down before he entered the classroom to catch his breath, he tucked in his shirt (making it look possibly even worse than it did before) and adjusted his tie. Walking in, he immediately spotted the pretty Slytherin girl and grinned, making a beeline for the empty seat next to her.

"Hi. I'm Benzi." Yep, that's who he was. And she was Sophie.

Tora just happened to be going towards the Divination Tower at precisely the same time as that annoying first year Benzi was. Not wanting to start an argument (especially in her own Head of House's classroom!) she just ignored the boy, and sat as far away from him as possible in the room... next to Marigold! "Hi!" she said cheerfully to her friend and then smiled at the Hufflepuff she didn't know (Kace) on Marigold's other side.

She remembered her manners and was about to greet the Professor, when she noticed an older girl (Karina) already there. Wait, wasn't she one of the Durmstrangers that had come for the competition? Tora had been wondering if they fit the stereotype, and from what she saw about this girl, they did. So instead of actually saying 'hello' to Professor Elwood, she just gave a big smile. Of encouragement. Because the Durmstranger seemed pretty scary.

Climbing a ladder to enter through a trapdoor? What an unusual way to enter a classroom. Bronislava made her way into Divinations, slowly taking in the appearance of the room somewhat insipidly. Why was it so dark and eerie in here? This only further served to confirm the notion that the subject was flaky and fraudulent. But her presence here was to serve a purpose, hopefully two. So she would be in attendance.

Once adjusted to the dim light, Bronislava's eyes fell on the eldest person at the front of the room - the supposed professor. She allowed the ends of her lips to curl ever so slightly in a faint, cordial smile as she stopped just in front of her to greet her. "Good day. I am Bronislava Zvonimir. Zhank you for allowing me to sit in on your lesson." No, she wasn't thrilled about having to attend a lesson she did not see as a true science or wizardry, but she would represent her school with poise and respect. She had manners and would use them.

The Durmstrang girl then turned to find a seat, her eyes falling on the few already seated. She recognized the girl Minerva whom she had met at Hogsmeade and gave her a curt nod before starting to walk her way. But then she saw another, more familiar person and veered in her classmate's direction. "Karina," she greeted simply before taking the seat next to her. Pulling out her parchment, she scribbled a few things in Croatian, giving a glance to her surroundings then back at Karina.

Divination. What could she say about this rubbish class? Only that she hoped that it went by quickly. She didn't even know why she bothered. She knew that she would not use Divination when she left Hogwarts. Big fat waste of time if you asked her.

She spotted the professor at her desk all smiles. Why was she always so happy? That kind of behavior just wasn't normal. Still, she couldn't just ignore the lady so she gave her a quick "hello" and found her a seat.

WOW GOSH WOW.

Nothing was exhillerating as bounding your way from the basement corridor and Hufflepuff corridor all the way up to the Divination classroom, AMIRIGHT?

Tobias practically bounced into the classroom with a huge grin on his face. It was............ okay very dark. Which was... whatever. And the windows were obscured but Tobias went to go and sit by them anyway 'cause WHY NOT. He gave the professor a little wave as he went, and one of his big signature grins.

Ready to learn. Yup. Right here. BRING ON THE KNOWLEDGE.
