The runes on the Hufflepuff armour GLOWED when the spells (GrapehGrape, aaetha) hit it, but it continued advancing towards the Slytherin one which was freed of its engaging rope! (Tegz)

HAZAR!CLANK

... whoa whoa whoa. Was this a conspiracy? The Slytherin armour paused in its advance towards the kid (Cassirin), and felt the runes glow hot on it, so hot it started to disfigure a bit on the shoulder plate, when the spells hit it (FearlessLeader19, Bazinga, Meizzner, bitsyandtank). In its anger, the suit quickened its pace towards the boy (Cassirin)... before a strong spell (Bazinga, Wade Potter) hit it right in the arm scratching it a little. In its anger, the suit turned around and started toward one of those kids...

The Huffelpuff armour collided into it right then, and bother armours' spears were locked in an intense spear!fight.

The Gryffindor armour was at the Ravenclaw armour by then and it was about to tackle it to the floor, having no spear yet, when a spell (Bazinga) hit it. The runes sucked it out without any more damage, and the armour continued on towards its original destination.

The Ravenclaw armour's legs were locked together by the rope (hermionesclone) and it stood still, causing the Gryffindor's armour to collide into it and then on the wall.

CLANKCLASH

They fell to their knees and two spells hit them simultaneously (the fastest seeker, Anna Banana) but without causing any damage to them. The Gryffindor armour got to its feet first and took a moment to relieve itself from the virtual birds flying around its head. The Ravenclaw armour, with its backwards helmet, was still on its knees.

Adrienne knew that the Ravenclaw armour was in trouble, but she wasn't entirely sure what to do about it. Nothing on the list of spells was useful, except for perhaps trying to do something to the Gryffindor armour, but hey, as Botros had said, nothing was out of bounds when it comes to love and war... not that there was any love involved in this. No, only cold, ruthless, House rivalry, and also armour.

"Diffindo!" she said, pointing at the ropes at the Ravenclaw armour's legs in an attempt to sever them and free it. And that helmet... she didn't know any spells to fix that, unfortunately. So she simply shot another spell at the Gryffindor suit of armour that was still approaching their own. "Lacarnum Inflamarae!"

Kace was liking all the action that was going on. He wanted to be in it. He noticed the professor caught them all up. So the most damaged one was the slytherin suit of armor. Hmm...interesting. Kace wondered what he could do to it!

He thought of a spell and said to the Slytherin Armor..."Locomotor Mortis!" and hopefully it's legs would lock together and fall on it's face to add to the crack in it's back.

Then he noticed the Ravenclaw one. He saw Cassia mades it's helmet turn around so he couldn't see. Nice work! Kace was gonna aim at the Ravenclaw because he didn't like it since it charged at him. He used his wand and muttered "Diffindo!" and see what happens.

That Hufflepuff suit just wasn't going to give up was it. And now it was fighting with the Slytherin suit? Not cool. Adelaide had to defend her house, but she couldn't get close enough to draw more runes on the suit. She might get a spear to the head. Even with the pointy parts gone that would still hurt.

Adelaide got as close as she could, aiming at the Hufflepuff suit's spear. "Mobiliarbus!" If that worked, the suit wouldn't have a spear to fight with. Advantage Slytherin.

Interesting battle. Well, Kat watched it all for a while. Because none of them thought of attacking the Slytherin armour for a few minutes which was a good thing because the other armours had dents and cracks already while theirs didn't. Last one standing is the winner, which was a good thing. She mused over this for a moment, until she saw mental Hufflepuffs throwing hexes at them.

'SCUSE YOU. That is not how it works here. Mental glares for them.

So maybe it was time to actually do sometimes, yeah? Okay. She chose a target to hit first... but then settled with the Hufflepuffs. Because they were the ones attacking their suit or armour. Mean people. "Lacarnum Inflamarae!" she cast the spell at the Hufflepuff suit. Yeah. Take that, Puffers.

LET'S GO SLYTHERIN. #Pride

There was a lot of clanking and hitting and oh wait what? No. Stoppit Ravenclaw, she was NOT a human shield! Alexa stepped from infront of the ...second year was it? Yeah, she didn't care. Lex wasn't in the business of saving Ravenclaws. Not that the girl needed saving after a spell knocked right into the Slytherin armour and knocked it in a different direction. Lex put as much distance between her and the girl as possible while watching the battle taking place.

She squinted at the sight of something ODD and soon realized the crack on their armours back! Eeek! The rune must have worn out or something. Lex scanned the room, watching the other suits going at it...with the exception of the Ravvie one still on the ground.

Deciding to be quick, she bolted across to the Gryffindor armour who seemed as if it was in a daze. Every now and then she had to duck as another spell was thrown...and another...okay guys, knock it OFF!

As quickly as she could she got behind the suit and aimed her wand. "Reparo!" Getting him nicely patched up...she hoped but not much time left to waste. From the corner of her eyes she caught that very same Ravenclaw girl aiming at the suit and consequently HER. Lex's first instinct was to straight up hex the girl but she had greater concerns. Wand pointed at it's back once more. "Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz! Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz!" She had to get these new runes on before something terrible happened!!! Once she felt she'd gotten enough she did a quick check of the front and gave a "Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz..." JUST IN CASE BECAUSE THEY WERE NOT LOSTING!

Alexa stepped away from the armour, giving it a one over when she spotted the Ravvie one still on the ground. Without giving it much thought she ran over and jumped onto it's back. Dangerous, yeah? She lived for the rush! "Diffindo!" Spells at a close range were more likely to work, yeah? Severed heads were interesting.

Oh hello again Mr. Angry suit of amour. Wade blinked as it only turned in anger at him and Min before heading towards them.. Um, yeah that's not happening. Wade walked right in front of Min, "Hey, not her." He didn't need the pact he made with Ethan back then as a reason. He was wholeheartedly looking out for his best Mouse friend.

Thinking of sending a nice fireball at it before it got too close with his wand drawn out, when their Hufflepuff suit of armour decided to save them. "Yeah! That's it." He beamed at the extra help before aiming his wand at the Slytherin's torso in between the fighting "Incarcerous!" Go ropes, go and tie it up so it can't use the spear properly.

Slytherin's dear suit of armour needed some protecting since it had been protecting them for quite a while now. Kat watched as her Slytherin battled the other House suit of armours and made sure that they were enough to take at least one of them down (preferably the Hufflepuff one but she was fine with any of them). Kat pointed her wand at the Slytherin armour. "Hold still." Because she couldn't use a spell at their armour unless she wanted it hurt. "Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz Algiz..." she traced the Algiz rune on their armour and then... THERE. A new Algiz rune. Perfect.

Smirk. Yeah, at least it was a little bit more protection. But then... back to the battle.

Her target? Always the Hufflepuff one. She didn't know why she felt the need to take them down and not the other houses. Maybe because the Gryffindor and the Ravenclaw armours were battling each other? Yeah probably that. "Bombarda!" she said and cast the spell at the Hufflepuff armour. Mhm... 'kay.

"Fight, Hufflepuff, fight!" he shouted before taking aim at the Slytherin Armor again "Locomotor Mortis!" Asher spun to his left and aimed towards the Ravenclaw Armor "Locomotor Mortis! And there is some for you as well!

He was starting to have so much fun watching them fight. Asher glanced around and wondered what would happen next. He prepared himself to send off more spells towards the opposing teams.

Yessssss it was free of the ropes. West gave Sophie!snake!firstie a little nod and then turned his attention to the other suits of armour, especially now that Kat was taking over with adding more protection to theirs. Sooo his turn to try some offensive stuff then? Yes?

"Aqua Eructo!" He said, aiming for the Gryffindor armour. Hopefully one of his housemates would bubble that up... or freeze it up. One of the two. Teamwork combo thing.

It worked! She knew they were an awesome team. Just as she was going to high five Kitty she saw the big amour coming at her. Oh this wasn't good and she went to raise her wand, but didn't need it only for a split second when someone much taller than her was in front of her yelling at the Syltherin armour. Kitty had jumped to her rescue. She couldn't help but give a little smile. Thankfully though he didn't get the armours anger when the Puff suit came at it. She clapped and cheered on the puff suit.

Pointing her wand and stepping out around Wade so she could see again clearly and not just peaking under his arm, she felt she needed to help her Puff suit of Armour. "Bombarda" see how that felt armour. She wanted to make sure it hit him fully again "Bombarda" Come one Puff Armour you can beat them!!

Ella smiled a little as Botros called out the answer to her question, giving him a thumbs up so he knew that she had heard him. It was interesting to think about, the power that warriors could get from runes. She wondered if it might be worth making herself something to wear daily and if she had enough knowledge to make it work.

And she was a bit lost in all the commotion, noting how the suits were locked in battle. It seemed that the ropes were working quite well in stopping the armor short and so Ella decided to test this theory, eyes on the Slytherin armor.

"Incarcerous!"

Get off Hufflepuff dude, okay?

So it kind of worked. Nigel really wanted to try that bubble charm next. But it required a partner and Nigel was not in the mood to ask and see if they wanted to. So fire. That sounded good to Nigel. He aimed Gryffindor armor.

"Lacarnum Inflamarae"

Don't want to interrupt the battle between slytherin and hufflepuff.

THERE WAS SO MUCH NOISE IN THIS LESSON.


"RAAAAAWWWWRRRRR INCARCEROUS!" Benzi YELLED, waving his wand at the Slytherin armour that was annoyingly still intact. He saw someone do the same thing, and wondered if it would be double power ropes now. His own Ravenclaw suit was a little dumb (the Professor must have made a mistake when choosing the armours for each house) and Benzi had no idea how to carve the rune onto it so he hoped his own little spell would work.

CRUSH THEM RAVENCLAW CRUSH THEMMMMMMM.

West turned his attention to the Ravenclaw armour and with just the right amount of flourish, "Bombarda!" Aiming particularly for the legs of the armour with the hope that he might take one out or cause it to overbalance.

Might as well try go all out offensive now right? It was actually fun to be able to work off some intensity like this. And nice to properly engage and not just sit around like in some classes. People thought that Runes was boring but clearly they didn't know the truth.

Anyway, what were his fellow Slytherins doing?

SO MANY THINGS WERE HAPPENING ALL AT ONCE.

... BLINK.

A glow caught Alec's eyes and he turned his attention to look over towards the Hufflepuff armour. The runes were glowing! ... Were they meant to do that? Probably. Yeah. But if so, why was it glowing NOW?! Was it because of the spear!fight that it was part of with the Slytherin armour? Or... was it just... glowing because it the runes were about to fade?

... Frown.

Deciding to help it out a little, the boy held up his wand and pointed it over towards the back of the Hufflepuff armour. "Intaglio Algiz... Algiz... Algiz... Algiz..." He tried his hardest not to look or be distracted by anything else that was going on as he moved his wand around to match the shape of the rune. This would work, yeah? Please?

Once the rune was carved, the Hufflepuff pointed his wand over towards the Ravenclaw armour. He couldn't help but feel a little bit bad knowing that it was because of him that the armour was currently on its knees. Frown. Again. He brushed this aside, though, before crying out, "Bombarda!"

Tora ran to the Ravenclaw suit of armor "Protego!" she shouted attempting to block a spell. She didn't even see if it worked because the next second she turned and ran toward the Gryffindor armor. She didn't even know what spell she was going to use until she remembered the bubble one. This one needed two people though, so she went and searched for Adrienne.

She ran by the other Ravenclaw and nodding at Adrienne who was nearby shouted "Aqua Eructo!". She hoped her friend would see what she was trying to do and join in with the rest of the bubble spell...

To Adrienne's total surprise, her assault on the Gryffindor armour and looking out for the Slytherin one was interrupted by Tora's voice nearby her, shouting some sort of spell. Where had she come from? She hadn't brought the Slytherin one with her, had she? Adrienne stared blankly for several moments before realising that she was probably supposed to be doing something, otherwise why would Tora be right next to her.

What had she said again? Aqua Eructo? That was... yeah, that was the first part of the bubble spell. But what was the second one? Shoot. Adrienne's mind raced as she tried to remember it until she lit on the word 'bubblio', which wasn't really a word, was it, and then she remembered the spell all of a sudden. "Ebubblio!" she said, pointing her wand at the Gryffindor knight and shooting a glance at Tora. She was doing this right, no?

The Gryffindor armour was barely recovering from the clashing with its peer when several spells (aaetha, Meizzner, Tegz, aaetha again, amadshade) hit it, its feet scraped against the floor as they pushed it backwards, the runes starting to lose their effect already but not quite yet. Walking towards the bunch of Ravenclaws, the suit of armour made a move to grab the girl (amadshade) from the ankle and dangle her upside down in the air so that everything in her pockets would fall to the floor. HEHEHEE

The Ravenclaw armour was satisfied with its backwards helmet, it was on its two knees still when a bunch of spells (hpfan18, DaniDiNardo, bitsyandtank, Tegz, hermionesclone) hit it on the back, the protective spell one of the Ravenclaws (aaetha) tried to cast was useless considering how young the student was. ZEEEE, a dent appeared on its back, where the spells hit it. The armour stayed down on its two knees, a fallen knight.

The Hufflepuff armour was still in an intense spear!fighting with the Slytherin one, a few spells (GrapehGrape, PotterHeadforLife) hit it and particularly the fire spell, hitting it in the arm and disfiguring the runes carved there. More spells were targeted at the Slytherin knight (hpfan18, Charely Potter, bitsyandtank, Bazinga, TakemetotheBurrow, fire_faerie), two ropes shot out towards it and wrapped around its legs bringing it down to its knees meanwhile someone rushed and started carving another protective rune on it (PotterHeadforLife).

The Hufflepuff armour raised its stick to finish the fight but the girl (PotterHeadforLife) shot at it causing its arm to loosen and fall down to the floor. CLANKCLANKCLANK. Uh oh.

The Slytherin armour, with a scratch on its arm and another few on its knees started to get up.

Man down, man down! EEP! Ella let out a little shriek when the Hufflepuff armor's arm fell to the floor. That...wasn't good! Alec had the right idea, though. At this point, poor thing could use all the help it could get. She quickly ran over and began helping to carve a few more runes, concentrating as best she could given the chaos. "Intaglio Algiz....Algiz....Algiz...Algiz..." And the boyfriend got a smile too. "Good thinking."

She then spotted the Slytherin Armor getting back up and the blonde bit her lip and aimed her wand towards it. She didn't want it coming after them while their armor was in this kind of condition.

"Lacarnum Inflamarae!"

Ohno!OhnoQ Ohno! Their armor had lost an arrrrm! "Guys! We've got to help Guy!'' that was the name given to it, right? He quickly pointed his wand to the back of the Badger armor. "Intaglio Algiz...Algiz...Algiz!''

Okay. Time to direct another spell to a rival armor. Slytherin. Yes. Because one of the Snakes was carving Algiz on it again. "Bombarda!" Yep. Adi had taken a chance with that spell.

Whoa, whoa, whoa.. What was happening to their suit of armour. Oh no, things weren't good with only one arm for it. "Keep it going guys," The spells at the Slytherin armour that is. Wade waved his wand in a sweeping motion before aiming at it while it was trying to get up, "Depulso," That's it, go away from Hufflepuff. It was time for recovery, yes?

There, there. Wade then moved quick onto the arm that fell to the floor, swishing and flick "Windgardium Leviosa." Concentrating on lifting it and placing it to fit right back onto the Hufflepuff suit of armour. Because they weren't going down fighting, you know.

Nooooothing was working with these suits of armours, which, she guessed was technically a good thing and meant they'd done a bang up job with the rune carving but merlin, as destructive as this was--and we applaud the Professor--nothing was being broken in half, no walls were busted through and all the suits of armour still had all their limbs. It was almost disappointing. One of the most civilized battles EVER.

A stroke of luck though, her spell, and a few others' as well, WORKED! She watched the Ravvie armour flopped to the floor, thoroughly pleased with herself before turning to see who her next target would be. By the looks of it...she'd have to say the Huflepuff one. It had a dent, might as well make it bigger instead of trying, possibly in vain, to go starting a dent in the snakes'.

"Bombarda!"

Her wand was aimed at the sight of it's earlier...er...injury? Would you call it that on suit of armour? They technically couldn't get hurt. Well, whatever it was, it was AIMED FOR.

Also, we see you keeping up the good fight Gryffindor Armour, g'job!!

NO WAY. That was NOT happening. Alec stared in disbelief at their armour, his mouth hanging open somewhat. Their armour lost its ARM?! That... was BAD. Really really bad! Poor Guy. He turned his attention towards the person near him, who was also carving runes. "Thanks Ells!" he said, smiling back at her. And oh? Wade and Adi were here to help too? AWESOME. Both of them got smiles too before Alec...

... decided that it was time to do some protecting. You know, because he was Superman. Or, that was his nickname from Hulk.

Ells had a good idea, though, by attacking the Slytherin armour. Deciding to help her in the process, the boy held up his wand and squinted slightly, aiming it at the Slytherin armour. "Colloshoo!" So its feet would get stuck and it wouldn't be able to attack Guy. Good plan? Was it? Would it work?

Botros said it was okay to cast more protective spells, and Mo thought MAYBE that was just what their giant suit of armor needed. After all, he was looking sort of weary, and once the big guy was down... well. Then he'd stay down, probably. What was the best way to go about doing it, though? He could climb on a desk and try to hit the knight when he came by, or he could see if Nigel would levitate him over the knight.

Or he could ride him like a baby yeti on its mother's back in the Himalayas. Mo climbed on a chair and launched himself at the Ravenclaw knight, one arm snagging around the knight's enormous shoulder joint and the other clutching his wand. He jammed a foot into a chink in the back of the armor to keep from falling.

"Ingalio Algiz Algiz Algiz. Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz. Intaglio Algiz Algiz Algiz." It was totally normal to be hanging from a suit of armor, tracing bird foot runes along the back of said suit. Just another day in Ancient Runes.
