| | Transfiguration 2-Under The Big Top
The transfiguration classroom has been transformed into a work area (kind of like a wood works class). Where the normal benches would be there is now a work table with a medium size wood Box, matches, bits of leaves and cloth and sticks and a stool for you to sit on.
To the side of the room is a box containing mini circus rings and balls and all other kind of circus related decor.
Professor Bellaire has kindly put a list of spells on the board that will help you to accomplish the task at hand. Circo Anulum- Turns wooden box to circus ring
wand movement: keep wrist steady while moving hand in a circular motion then point bruchus puga-turns beetles to button
wand movement: point steady wand at object folium induant- turns leaf to vest
wand movement: light tap on the object Draconifors-rocks to dragon
wand movement: Slash wand at target
The Professor is as usual waiting by her desk (which contains a box of rocks interestingly enough). You know the routine, come in early and wait to be seated and ENSURE that your uniform is immaculate. |

All right. As soon as Professor Bellaire said it was okay to take a seat, Beezus descended to her stool and listened well as the woman immediately jumped to her instructions.
They were going to tackle new spells to make their gargoyle presentations more awesome. Yep, she liked the idea Professor. And to add fuel to the fire, they were going to transfigure their gargoyle boxes into circus rings! That made her grin rather widely. She was a big fan of those circus shows, you know. The song "Circus" even started playing inside her head. All eyes on me in the center of the ring just like a circus..
Welp.
Actually, all eyes on Professor Bellaire. Riiiiight.
Circo Anulum. Circular motion to a point. Okay, Beezus got that. But she decided to repeat the incantation inside her head with the 'Circus' song as background for good measure. Circo Anulum...Circo Anulum.....Circo Anulum... That wasn't too hard, eh? What she think was a bit hard was the keeping the wrist firm part. It was a bit hard....since she was still nursing a bludger hit courtesy of her co-Prefect's Hufflepuff girlfriend. She keep forgetting to ask the Healer to fix her it for her. She really shouldn't. Okay, mental note that one and here's to hoping the note didn't fly away.
Too much for that one. Time to try out the spell.
But first, she had to take out the box from her bag. And she did. She placed her gargoyle on the side and gave it a wink. Consolation of some sort because it wasn't it's time to shine yet. It was the box's time.
"Circo Anulum....Circo Anulum." Beezus muttered without wand. Then she moved on to the wand movement. Circle and point. Circle and point. Okaaaay. She was ready.
Pulling the box close, she eyed it intently before casting the spell. "Circo Anulum!"...........after a few shifts here and there, a green tent rested right before her eyes. Erm. Green though? Was it too obvious that she was in luuuurve? Aheeeeem.
"I think I should change this one." >__________<

| HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED What? Getting their gargoyles dressed? She really didn’t care if the creepy crawly gargoyle had clothing. But changing wooden boxes into circus rings sounded like a rather interesting idea. So she sat there with her gargoyle boxed in front of her. She held her wand out in front of her and tried to do the circle-circle point with her wrist staying steady.
It would have been easier if she didn’t have to keep her wrist steady. The pointing was the easiest bit.
So she tried again, circle, circle, point. That part was easy. “Circo circo…anooolum” she tried the words over and over until it felt as if she could say it in her sleep. She took her gargoyle and put it on her desk before heading to collect a box. Then she tried it, eyes wide. “Circo Anulum” and BEAMED, she just beamed when she watched the box wasn’t a box anymore.
“That is totally wicked” she beamed and bounced a bit on the balls of her feet, clapping as she saw it. She was just excited so excited. Even if the tent was magenta. Pango? That was the spell yeah? ”Pango teal there her circus ring was not a reasonable (but still bright) color.

Hogwarts RPG Name: Eliza Neladara Dawnsel Fifth Year | Taking a seat as soon as she could, Eliza flopped down rather excitedly. She rolled up the sleeves on her robe so that the wood pieces wouldn't get the chance to snag the fabric. She hadn't done much Transfiguring and while some things seemed to work for her, others were a little trickier. A full on circus ring for instance sounded a bit...fancy.
She went over the incantation a few times and kept her wand idle on the table, just to avoid any accidental casting. "Circo," Easy. "An..What? Anul..um. Anulum? Anulum. Anulum." Was it ah-noooo-lum like moo, or ah-nuhhhh-lum, or maybe ah-noo-loom? She listened around to see what the others were saying. It seemed like ah-nuh-luhm was the way to go, so she did that.
Next she practiced keeping her wrist completely stiff while making the circle and it was harder than it sounded. She kept wanting to flick her wrist about, but Bellaire had been very specific that it should remain rigid, so she tried again. Around with her arm, hand and wrist still, ciiiiircular. And point. Circular, and point. Okay, not so hard. She was excited to get to use the extendable charm again this year too. It had been one of her favorite things she learned last year, so using it again was a treat.
She looked at the piece of wood and put her practice to the test. "Circo anulum!" she said expectantly as she made the motion with her military-esque posture, hoping that might help. Sadly though, the wood did not turn into a pretty circus ring, but a round and lopsided wooden bunker. Maybe if we were playing with toy soldiers instead of gargoyles this would be okay, she joked to herself. Okay. Less regime emphasis next time, more visualizing a circus. Got it. She changed it back with a simple reverto and readied to try again.

....."Reverto!"
Okay...not too green of a tent anymore. Back to the box it was.
This time she needed to picture out something a different color, right? So it wasn't too obvious. Teehee. Hmm. A purple one then? Since that was her favorite color and then that would mean it wasn't biased on any house color, even on her own house. It was the general Hogwarts color so it would fit. Pluuuus, it was just a purely fantastic color. Hmmmw, what else? Maybe she should add a bit more detail on the tent. Silver streaks on the roof? More ribbonettes hanging around? Improve the design of the tent entrance? Yep, she was trying to get that all inside her head.
Once she was satisfied with the image she had, Beezus pointed her wand at the box, wrist steady and, "Circo Anulum!" The box crumpled sideways, expanded and suddenly sprang up to form the tent very close to the one she imagined.
That was better.
Next....were accessories, right? She needed a mini flag. And more silver thinggies. She was also going to so use the Undetectable Extension Charm for moaaaaar.

| Shoe!Girl │ Rebel Ravie │ Confundus Queen │ RP Addict Kendall hadn’t really minded the standing, if only because she felt like she could get a better look at everything around the room from that perspective rather than sitting behind her table. She’d still obeyed when Professor Bellaire had given them the permission to sit, and she proceeded to get Dagda and his box out of her bag while she’d listened to the instructions. So they were making performance spaces for their gargoyles now. That was awesome, and she had already begun thinking about what she wanted to create for her little gargoyle, smiling a little. This was going to be fun. She wasn’t even really that concerned about performing the wand movements, either. Her wrist hadn’t been tested too much since she’d gotten the cast off, but keeping it firm shouldn’t be a problem. It was lots of movement that sometimes did. Circo anulum. Circo anulum, circo anulum, she repeated in her head a few times, just to get the pronunciation down like she always did, then she experimentally flicked her wand in a circle and pointed it. No twinges in her wrist, although she could have sworn Dagda was looking at her like she was crazy. Obviously the gargoyle wasn’t, since she hadn’t animated him yet, but it felt like it. “You want me to make an awesome tent for you, right Dagda?,” she said quietly, leaning over so she was roughly eye level with the statue. “What colors do you like?” She’d prefer pink, but since the tent was for Dagda, she should consider his preferences. As if the gargoyle could answer her. Either way, she came up with a color scheme, then applied her attention to the box in front of her, concentrating on her idea. Time to start the show. “Circo anulum!,” she cast, moving her wand in the previously practiced circular motion before pointing it at the box.
For a long moment, nothing happened, but then as she continued watching, the box stretched and morphed into a roughly circular blue and iridescent silver striped tent. Okay, it isn’t perfect, but it isn’t going to collapse. It just has character, she thought, moving Dagda a bit closer so he could examine the tent while she applied herself to decorating. Maybe some streamers, some props. It took her a few seconds, but she’d returned from collecting things and sat back down to grin at the little tent in front of her. Now it was time to really get it looking awesome.

Sarah sat down in her seat, it was easier to keep warm sitting. Instinctively at the mention of the desk Sarah looked down at it. Then she caught herself and resumed her gaze at the teacher. She watched as the teacher demonstrated the new spell and listened to the instructions for the class. It sounded alright.
Sarah had made a new day resoltution (it was easier to keep then a year resolution) that she would take notes even when not told,s os eh brought out her supplies and quickly wrote down the new spell and its wand movement. That sounded good.
The incantation, which always was the hard part by Sarah. She looked over the spell in her book about three times before she was confident to try say it.

Now that she had transfigured her to box into a circus ring charmed it with the undetectable expansion charm, Kat could go now and gather some nice accessories to decorate and furnish her circus ring with. That was something Kat was sort of okay with. She went over to the box at the corner and peered inside it, examining the available accessories. So there were hoops and really tiny flags (flaglets) inside. Awesome. Kat took some of them with her, and a little bit of ribbons because those looked nice and stuff with the circus ring.
If Professor Bellaire had told them they were decorating before the lesson, Kat wouldn't brought some accessories of her own as well. She had beads and sequins and stuff that would makes her circus ring even more appealing. But oh well. I guess her Slytherin trait of resourcefulness was being tested at the moment. Hehe SHIFTY.
Once she was finished in gathering accessories, she went back to her seat and placed them on her desk and tried fitting it into where it looked better. Hmm... Yes, with the one eye closed thingy? She was trying to be artistic after all.

Do we just think about the colors we'd like the tent to be, or are they always the same?" Sophia was busy student watching, making sure there was no messing around in her classroom because nothing good ever came from messing around.
Hmmm? "yes focus on the colours you want the tent to be."

"One, two, three....four." Her tent had four roof gables. So....four flaglets for each, yes? What else would she need? Tapestries, maybe? Ribbonettes? Yep, she needed those....sequins and some glitter. Ew...she was acting like a girl. Welp. She was a girl. But not the too girlish things, yeah? Definitely.
Beezus bounded over to the corner of the room where the box of accessories were and began rummaging through the various kinds of decors. Ooh. Flaglets! There were silver ones. She needed four of those... and rings? Could she use rings? Oh, but it was on the song so it would be a plus. Ribbons too. There were also pennant banners and bead curtains! Perfect for the entrance area, was it not? It waaaas! She also grabbed some whirls and flutter balls too. Was there also confetti in the box?!
......
............
After gathering an armful of things, the Ravenclaw returned to her workstation and got started on decorating. She wasn't the most creative creature on the planet but she could sure as heck work out some things right there. As planned, she attached the bead curtains on the entrance for effect and the silver flaglets filled the ends of the roof gables. Banners...that went all around the tent.....
She was actually having fun with this one.

"Circa Anuloom" Sarah tried.
"Circo Anulam". Wrong.
Circo Anulun"
It just was not fair! Her tongue always got twisted. Concentrate Sarah. She told herself. She looked at her book again for more help.
"Circo Anulum" she edged out slowly. "Circo Anulum" just bit faster. "Circo Anulum". After some tries she got it up to the speed of the rate a normal person talks (Sarah usually talked much faster then a normal person did).
"Circo Anulum" she said three more times for finality.
She did it!
Then she picked up her wand and flexed her wrists in preparation for learning the wand movement.

Now that Ella had her circus ring, she was ready to add some accessories, yeah? Only she really wanted it to look like a proper circus ring and with such a small space to work with, she figured using the Undetectable Expansion charm would be her best bet. Conveniently enough, they'd learned this charm last term with Professor Bellaire. Grin. That camping lesson really had been a fun one.
Magnus Centrum was the incantation, yeah? She remembered it well enough. She also remembered the light tapping motion and trying to get the pillow inside of a cup thing. That had been interesting. Anyhow, she was ready to give it a go. If she could successfully charm her tent, she could surely charm her circus ring. "Magnus Centrum!" TAP.
Had it worked? The only way to tell for sure would be to get some accessories and start setting them up. The blonde stood from her seat and went to do just that.

"wrist steady" Sarah chided herself as she tried to make a circle with her hand. No luck, in fact Sarah had to resort to stabling her right wrist with her left hand. Once she did that a few times her wrist was able to do the movement unaided.
She held her wand did the circular motion and then pointed. It looked so easy now.
Now came the putting together part. "Circo Anulum" she said making the circle motion with her hand. Well it would have worked had Sarah been thinking of her ring.
Yet she did now "Circo Anulum" she siad then she did the wand movement and poited at the box, thinking of the royal purple ring that had white stars. Behold, after an agonizing transformation the box that was once was before her changed into something quite similar to what she had intended.
Now she could further accessorize. It was a good thing Sarah had gone to the library and actually read things about circusses otherwise she would not know what a circus looked like. The big question

So, now that the the circus tent was all ready, it was time to add the accessories. But he would need a bit more space wouldn't he? What was that Undetectable Expansion Charm again? Oh yes! Magnus Centrum. They had learnt it when the lesson was by the lake.
"Magnus Centrum!'' the boy said, tapping the tent lightly. Now to see if it worked. He went over to the box to check out the stuff there. So many! He grabbed some of the things and set back to work.
First, Jory tied some coloured flags on top of the tent on the outside. A nice big light yellow flag. Now, he started working on the inside. First went a closed cage to the far left of the tent. In it were two lions. He attached a piece of wire at the top of the inside, which was the tight rope and two trapezes. Just below this was a safety net. Jory now placed a small canon on the a little way from the lions' cage. On the far right, Jory set up some little chairs that were for the audience. Just in front of those were a trampoline and unicycle. And finally, he added a swing and a teeterboard. "Some confetti would do well, too,'' the Puffer thought. He had grabbed a small container which held some. Emptying it in his hand, he randomly sprinkled it all around the tent's floor. "Done!'' That Expansion Charm sure did work.

Laura was glad that she knew what she was doing and the tent was looking good but she wanted to make it look even better, she wanted it to look great, football style, she should do one on Liverpool FC now all she had to do was make it look like that but, how, oh yeah, she could paint it forgetting to spell she got to work with some colours she had brought with her and soon she had made it look good, now though just to use the wand for the red bit, oh and what was the spell again, "Professor I'm a bit stuck." Laura sighed.

As long as he finished before the end of the class or before they started moving on. He really... didn't mind. Especially since Transfiguration was sort of tricky at times.
But... onto the spell. Practice saying it first, yeah?
Circo Anulum... circo anulum... circo anulum... "Circo Anulum... circo anulum... circoooooo............... anuluuuuuuum............" Was that the right way to say it? "Cir-co............ anoo-luuuuuuuuuuum.............." Yeah? No? "Circo Anulum circo anulum circo anulum!"

| Arts TRANSPONSTER! Cool, she had her nice green and yellow circus ring thing and now it was time to decorate it. BUT, professor Bellaire said they could use MORE spells, right? Like the Undetectable Expansion Charm. It was an opportunity to cast more Charms, so Sophie would totally do it. Because Charms, that was why. CHARMS! "Magnus centrum." The Hufflepuff said as she tapped her wand on the circus ring. There! That should work!
The girl went to retrieve some stuff from the box and also pulled some leaves and rocks closer to her workstation. Wooooo, even more spells! That lessons would be awesome! Sophie looked over to the board and read all of the incantations and studied the wand movements. Those did sound easy enough, and professor Bellaire had said her seven year-old could perform, so that got Sophie confident enough.
Dragon! Those reminded her of Mordred, so she would start with those. Grin. After practising the slashing wand movement, Sophie selected one rock she liked the best for no particular reason. "Draconis!" Ohwait. That was not it. She did the wand motion again. "Draconifors!"
It seemed like the rock had suddenly become clay and there was an invisible hand moulding it into a little dragon. D'aw! Could she keep that to give Mordred later?

Okay... breathe... he'd just move on to the actual wrist movement part, yeah? Alec gripped his wand a little tighter, hoping that this would help to keep his wrist... firm, or whatever it was. The opposite of loose. Because apparently, that wasn't going to work.
Circo Anulum... circo anulum... circo anulum... "Circo Anulum!" he said, moving his wand around in a circular motion and trying not to think about that confusing formula they had talked about in the previous lesson. Because... it was really confusing. And he'd just get distracted and... and...
... Yeah, the spell hadn't worked.
The boy shook his head and looked down at the wooden box. "Circo Anulum!" Round... "Circo Anulum!" Come ooooooon... "Circo Anulum!" Wrist steady, come ON, Summers! "Circo Anulum!" A grin spread across the boy's face as he looked down at the bright red and yellow tent. ... Okay... he was okay with those colours.
Now what was next?

She could fit things inside, heck, she could fit her head inside of it – and even her gargoyle! Which would be awesome since he’d be the one giving off the show yeah?
The next thing she did was find all the other objects she needed. The leaf, the beetles, the well, everything but the rocks…which yeah, she would have them ALL on her table ready to go. And she was going to practice this next spell.
“Bruchus Puga” she held her wand steadily pointed at the beetle and made one button. “Bruchus puga! Bruchus Paga!” she made another, and kept repeating the spell until she had three exact buttons. She was so so excited.

Ethan walked over to the other table and grabbed a few balls and other accessories. Were dragons going to be the only animals in this circus? Grabbing some leaves and beetles, he walked back over to his desk. He stopped the beetles before they escaped. "Bruchus Puga!", he said while tapping the beetle. Cool. Setting the button to the side, "Bruchus Puga!", "Bruchus Puga!, "Bruchus Puga!", he said going down the line of beetles with his wand and tapping a beetle every time. Now he had a decent number of buttons but had no idea what they were for. Next up, the leaves.

| Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd Kace decided to try out the other spells. He knew he could make the circus ring but he wanted to try out the other spells.
He decided he wanted to try Bruchus Puga. It was supposed to turn a beetle into a button. He wanted to try and start saying the incantation.
"Bru-ch-us Pu-ga.... Bru-ch-us Pu-ga....Bru-ch-us Pu-ga....Bru-ch-us Pu-ga...Bruchus Puga...Bruchus Puga....Bruchus Puga."
He felt confident saying it and then he practiced the wand movement. All he had to do was hold the wand steady at the object.
Kace starred at it and took a deep breath and concentrated. "Bruchus Puga!" and then held his wand steady and he felt the spell work. He opened his eyes and say the beetle turn into a button. WOAH O.o! He was amazed it worked! He loved the magic of it all. He even liked how the spell sounded :3.
Alright time for the other spells.

Hmmm? "yes focus on the colours you want the tent to be." Hmm. Mo nodded in response to the Professor's instructions and turned his attention back to his box. Maybe he should give it a go in plain colors and then try a second time in something bolder? Or maybe he should believe that he was amazing and give it a go the first time in the colors he wanted.
Yup, he was going to be bold.
He drew a careful circle and flicked his wand at the apex as he spoke clearly, " Circo Anulum!" Oh, and color! He really didn't want something traditionally circus-y, since circuses were terrifying. Instead, Mo thought deep thoughts on the Ravenclaw colors, thick stripes of cobalt and bronze alternating around the perimeter.
Mo watched with interest as his box turned tent-like, including a nice little frill and a flag on top. Still a little boxy, but absolutely a tent. "Your new home," Mo informed his gargoyle over his shoulder.

| Baguette | there is no D in my name | TRAITORclaw | Queenie of Narnia Practical part already. Okay. She could do this.
Penelope scribbled the spells down in her notes quickly and then drew her wand. Time to practice the first one. Circo Anulum. "Cir-co Anulum. Circo An-u-lum. Circo Anu-lum. Circo Anulum. Circo Anulum." Yeah, there, she sorta had it down. It wasn't really too hard to pronounce, which was nice. Now just the wand movement.
So a circular movement of the hand...with the wrist not moving? And then a point. Hm. Okay...
Penelope tried it out but quickly realized she was moving her wrist too. Hm. Tricky. She tried a couple more times but she kept getting tempted to move her wrist instead of keep it steady. So she moved her eyes down to watch her wrist and moved her hand slowly in a circle, keeping an eye on her wrist until her hand came back around full circle. Good. There. Now to speed it up.
She repeated the motion but with a quicker pace, still keeping an eye on her wrist. Full circle, steady wrist. Good. Thank Merlin. She tried a little faster, still eyeing her wrist, and once more managed to keep it steady.
Oh. And point. Yes. But it was kinda doing that once she had finished the circle, yeah?
There. She was pretty sure she had that. Now she could try them together?

| Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
She needed to start setting this tent up now that she got the things she figured she'd need. "Good job dude!" She patted the inanimate gargoyle affectionately for his hard work. In all his being stationary Lex bet he'd been quite fierce and intimidating.
Now then, she'd have to get that started with the undetectable extension charm which she still remembered because she'd used it at the start of the term in order to fit all her cupcakes and cookies in her candy bag. How did that go again...? OH RIGHT!!! "Magnus Centrum!"
For now she would assumed it worked so she could move on to something else. Something not dragon related apparently because they weren't allowed to use that one? Merlin! What was the point of having it scribbled there on the board then?? It was like placing a box of fireworks infront of her then telling her not to make a scene. See how that worked? No? That's because it didn't.
Still, a 'Bellaire No' was a convincing one so she'd just focus on something else. Like that vest the gargoyle would be needing! Lex grabbed for a leaf from the table next to her. What? The person had quite a few and she didn't suspect they'd be needing all of them. Besides, her gargoyle needed a vest!

| decorating!!! EEEPS. HOLISTIC ACTRESS {X O} EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED She was practically humming with excitement as she prepared to decorate her tent. Heading over to the box that held the decorations – seats, benches, balls, and all things circus, she just smiled. She didn’t have anything against the circus (but then again she’d never really been) so she practically skipped to the box.
Skipperdeee! SkipperdooO!
She was in a pleasantly pleasant mood as she collected a few benches, a large ball, a little platform thingy. “Oh this will be a fun place to live in” she beamed when she finished collecting her things for Peaches – that was what she called her Gargoyle. Yep giving a creepy looking thing a sweet name was her first step in de-creepifying it. She quickly liked up the benches in a circle around the tent placing the platform down and the ball ontop of it. The thing really looked big toppy which was great.
She was BEAMING. Then she glanced back at the box, and practically dashed to it. She had seen the confetti and the flutterballs that Beezus had grabbed and wanted some of the other smaller decorations. She grabbed a few streamers, flags, and even a confetti cannon. So she filled it with confetti and put a few of them – four to be exact at different corners of the tent. So the confetti would POP out of it and shower the inhabitants with confetti and fluttery paper bits…hopefully none of them would be smoking.
“This looks adorable” she told the little gargoyle that was sitting on the desk next to her – inanimate but still…worth talking to.
