Transfiguration 2-Under The Big Top The transfiguration classroom has been transformed into a work area (kind of like a wood works class). Where the normal benches would be there is now a work table with a medium size wood Box, matches, bits of leaves and cloth and sticks and a stool for you to sit on. To the side of the room is a box containing mini circus rings and balls and all other kind of circus related decor. Professor Bellaire has kindly put a list of spells on the board that will help you to accomplish the task at hand. Circo Anulum- Turns wooden box to circus ring wand movement: keep wrist steady while moving hand in a circular motion then point bruchus puga-turns beetles to button wand movement: point steady wand at object folium induant- turns leaf to vest wand movement: light tap on the object Draconifors-rocks to dragon wand movement: Slash wand at target The Professor is as usual waiting by her desk (which contains a box of rocks interestingly enough). You know the routine, come in early and wait to be seated and ENSURE that your uniform is immaculate. |
Tidy as usual, West had his bag over one shoulder as he arrived in class. This was... different? He took a spot at a work bench and unpacked his bag... namely, his gargoyle in its box. He also had his wand obviously, and if he needed it quill and parchment, but he left that in his bag for now and put that on the floor under the bench. "Hello professor Bellaire." West said quietly but politely. Aaaaand... he just stood there and waited. No sitting or anything. |
Minerva walked quickly to transfiguration, she wasn't sure why she was hurrying to get there so much. It was like someone had been mentally telling her to get there as fast as possible. Right before entering she checked her robes over to make sure they were neat and clean. A habit she started back in charms when Bellaire had started teaching. As she made her way into class she took in the difference, but kind of knew why it was like this. They were still practicing with their little gargoyles, so why not have a bigger area to work. Smiling at Professor Bellaire, "Hello Professor, how are you today?" As she went to a typical front row spot she turned and stayed standing. Knowing not to sit before being told, but there was a thought in her head, "Professor, great job at the Staff vs. Student match. I didn't realize you were a beater." It was neat to know which staff did her position, she loved being a beater |
Yaaaay, transfiguration with his favourite professor. Theo cheerfully made his way into the classroom and stood behind a desk at the very front. "Hi, Professor Bellaire." He said as he stood up straight. She looked rather lovely today, he noticed. But actually, she always did. He glanced at the board and sighed a little because he didn't recognize any of those spells. Grrrrrrrreat. That meant learning. |

Sophia beamed at Theo as he entered the classroom."Morning Mr.Kingley." If he could only manage to at least master one spell today then he'd get a rock. She would see to it, that he got a rock. "Good morning Mr.Odessa." Quote:
She started fixing the already fixed items on her desk when her look grew dark and she looked up at the girl. Sophia needed to remind herself that this girl right here wa snot the biter..no need to get upset. "Thank you." NO more mention of the match. And how did she forget to get a cage for Miss Fischer..or a muzzle. |
The only time Kat would ever be super duper conscious of her appearance is when it was Transfiguration class. She made it a routine to ALWAYS check herself at that mirror in one of these floors before going here. The Slytherin knew that Professor Bellaire was really particular about her students' appearance and neatness, and Kat totally didn't want to make a bad impression. She might hold it against herself forever, you know. She entered the classroom, all tidy and stuff. Yep, she took her time in front of the mirror in between classes. It was important, apparently. "Good morning, Professor Bellaire," Kat greeted the woman with a nod and a small smile. Then she made her way to one of the seats and stood right over there. She totally didn't forget to bring the gargoyle. It was right inside her box. Then... yeah, she was going to wait for the others now. |
Sarah was nervous as usual for this lesson and as usal it was about her appearance. Not that she was vain, in fact Sarah was the furthest from vain, yet now she had a teacher who was padantic about those kind of things. She made sure all was in order ebfore entering. She walked over to a desk and stood behind it, "hello professor" she chirped. Despite the fustration of getting ready, Sarah was always in a good mood in the morning. Then she looked at the board and took it all in. She was eager to learn the draconifors spell, she had just practiced the Lapifors Spell spell over the weekend and those two were quite similar, or so she had read. |
In chipper spirits, Dylan entered the Transfiguration classroom, tossing out grins here and there. Why not? He was rather pleased with himself at the moment...and no good mood should be wasted. Especially not one of his...seeing as they were rare these days. As was the case every other day, the Slytherin's appearance was clean and tidy. He knew how Professor Bellaire felt about messy. No need to get the woman fired up..."It's nice to see you, Professor." The greeting was offered in an even, respectful tone... ...and then he stood by his desk, chilling...waiting for the start of class like everyone else. His eyes naturally searching for someone... |
Okay, uniform in order? Check. Tie straight? Check. Shoes polished? Check. Not one hair out of place? Check. Great, she was now allowed to enter class. Sky still didn't quite understand what Bellaire's deal was with their appearance, but she really didn't want to irritate the woman either. So, it was with all those things in order that she found herself a seat. Without sitting, of course. "Hello, Professor Bellaire." Yep, good to go. |
Ella smiled as she entered the Transfiguration classroom, green eyes taking in the changes. It looked cool in here, really cool. Seemed like they'd be working with their gargoyles again, yeah? Or at least be creating their little circus environments? Neat-o "Hello Professor." She greeted cheerfully, giving the woman a smile before heading to an empty seat and standing by it. All ready here. |
Jory took in the new setting of the Transfiguration Classroom when he got there. Seemed they were done with the gargoyle? For now at least. He quickly straightened his tie and made sure his uniform looked proper. "Good day, Professor Bellaire,'' he said to the woman. Jory went over to one of the stools and stood next to it, taking in the unfamiliar spells on the board. |
Wade got up earlier than usual, since his next Transfiguration class was starting. He had the time to make himself presentable, straightened tie and uniform before he arrived. Oh yeah, he also made sure to bring the box containing the gargoyle with him. "Hello, Professor Bellaire." He greeted before standing by one of the seats. |
Eliza entered the room and eyed the wood pieces everywhere. It almost looked like the ancient runes workshop, which was sadly gone this year. Maybe some of that wood had to be used for this lesson. Or, maybe it was just a coincidence. As she went forward to find a stool, she nodded politely at the professor. "Good day, Professor Bellaire." As usual, Eliza's robes were clean. Especially clean even, now that she knew so many different ways to clean things, thanks to the state of the castle and all of their related lessons. She went over towards a stool and stood next to it. |
Lex was in the middle of adjusting her tie when she walked into the immaculate but different classroom. Lowering her hands now that she was all neat and orderly she took in the whole room. Oooooooo!!! Suddenly she was reminded of the fact that they'd be putting on a mini circus at the end of the term. Looking at the spells on the board got her doubly excited and there might have been a bounce in her step now as she headed to her desk--work table. "Good day Professor!!" BEAM. Draaaagons. EEeeeep! |
Time to go to Transfiguration. Yeah, this was the class with the pretty Professor who had self-image problems and did NOT want to be told that she looked nice. Honestly, she needed some therapy or a boyfriend or something because it was off putting that a woman did not like to be told that she looked nice. Pfft. Did the school offer those kind of services? Anyway... He walked into the classroom, scanned it, saw it looked like another crazy set up, didn't care and approached his Professor, "Hello Professor." Then he moved to go and sit in his seat, but remembered she was also weird about sitting. So he stood. Jeez, crazy lot. |
Having taken a little extra care into fixing his hair, Alec finally made his way along the Transfiguration corridor and towards the open door of the classroom. Because they had to look immaculate, yeah? And that included making sure your hair was in good condition too. ... Something... like that. Also, was he late or...? Readjusting his grip on his bag, Alec walked into the classroom and... blinked. ... Okay. This... sort of reminded him of the Ancient Runes workshop. His grey-blue eyes scanned the room quickly before focusing on the Professor. "Hello Professor!" The sixteen year old grinned at Bellaire before moving over towards an empty stool right near a certain blonde. GRIN. He placed his box with the gargoyle in it down onto the table and stood there, behind his stool. And the spells on the board? They weren't going to be hard, right? |
Kace heard he had to be dressed in his best for this lesson. As he made his way to the transfiguration room, he saw the professor sitting at her desk. Kace was huffing and puffing hoping he wouldn't be late. He looked around and noticed he was on time. Kace smiled to the professor, "Hello Professor Bellaire!" Then he swung his bag over his shoulder and went to find a seat. He hoped he didn't look too sweaty after he ran all the way from the common room to the classroom. He got out his quill and notebook and saw the board. Those seemed hard. But Kace was sure the professor would explain them. The lesson looked interesting from what he read.... |
Laura walked into the classroom and smiled, she couldn't wait for this lesson, even if she wasn't very good at it. "Good day Professor." Laura was going to have loads of fun. "How are you today?" |
Nigel walked into the class room ready for some more work on his gargoyles or what they were. He was of course dressed perfectly and lint free. "Hello Professor Bellaire" Nigel then looked at the board and saw a list of spells. This was looking to turn into a fun class. Nigel liked practicing magic and its theory. But the practical part more. He walked over to a free desk and stood at its side waiting to be seated. Like normal. |
Typically, Mo didn't have any trouble standing at his desk and waiting for the professor to let them take a seat. Today, however, as Mo entered the room and took a spot next to his desk, he felt all itchy about it. Like he didn't want to sit or stand or anything. Hopefully, they'd be able to get right to work soon. "Good day, Professor," Mo offered to the woman politely. His hand strayed briefly to his tie, but he knew it looked fine. He'd checked it before class and EVERYTHING. |
Ethan walked into the classroom, hoping for a good lesson. He looked at the board. A circus? At least they were learning some cool spells. "Good day, Professor Bellaire." He remembered not to sit down immediately this time. He waited by a desk for further instructions. |
Beezus took a fairly deep breath as she stopped at the door of the Transfiguration classroom to collect herself. It was Professor Bellaire time. Yay or nay? She wasn't sure. But she did love this subject so even if the woman teaching it would tell her to shut her mouth, the Ravenclaw was still going to go inside. But not before she smooth out her skirt, adjust her tie, tuck her hair in neat places and all that. After all that, she took another breath and stepped in. ...............Oh, okay. This was new. Wood? Circus? And a board with unfamiliar spells. It sure was interesting, not to mention their Professor with a box of rocks. Aheem. "Good day, Professor Bellaire." Beezus said with a slight bow as she passed by the woman's desk before walking over to a work bench. She set her bag on the stool and waited, standing straight as she fiddled with the sleeves of her robes. |
Mack walked into the transfiguration room and gasped.. this was not the room she left after the last lesson well this was different... She slowly entered, looking around and taking in the room in detail. A big top, so we were now part of a muggle circus, she wasn't fond of the circus that her grandfather had drug her to so that she could see that muggles did not live better than they. Hmmm wood working? Circus? Fabric? Sigh they were probably doing more things to help with the current situation. Of course. They were told that they would be holding a circus with all they learned this term. This caused the young Gryffindor's spirits to fall even farther. She didn't want to be part of a circus. Reading the board with the new spells on it still wasn't helping. SHe loved learning new spells but these were for the circus and she was still wondering if she could find away out of participating. Of course she couldn't Transfiguration was mandatory. "Hello Professor" the girl was able to get out, not in the most convincing tone, but it was a greeting nonetheless. She walked towards one of the stations and stood, waiting on further instructions from the professor. |
Oh. Transfiguration. Sixth floor. From the grounds... ...we're so tired. We want to sit. BUT WE CAN'T. "Hello, Professor Bellaire," BEAM. What on Earth was that on the board? Why did Bellaire manage to surprise them at every class? You know, the last time there was a formula that was better suited for Astrophysics than anything else. Seriously, though, Lottie made her way to a...seat?...and stood beside it. Her uniform was in super excellent condition and clean, she was, however, super tired and wanted to take a seaaaaat, so, hurry up, Bellaire. |
She sort of felt different, but Kendall knew that didn't matter when it came to Transfiguration with Professor Bellaire. At least she'd gotten the aqua streak out of her hair, returning it to the usual pink-streaked auburn. Therefore there shouldn't be any questions, and she'd even decided to pull her hair back into a neat braid, just to be extra-sure that she wouldn't look messy. Boots were tied properly, skirt was straight, shirt not wrinkled and tucked in underneath her sweater, tie was straight too, and her robes over all. She'd also made double sure that Dagda was inside her school bag, safely inside his box. The little gargoyle had been out on her bedside table in the dorm for a long time while she'd been practicing tricks and teasing Accio, but now she wanted to be sure she had him for class. Therefore, it was a particularly nice and tidy Kendall who walked inside the classroom not long after Lottie, and she made her way to a table quietly. She could investigate the new surroundings once she was at her place, just so she didn't keep anyone waiting. "Good morning, Professor Bellaire," she said, giving the woman a smile once she was standing straight next to her chosen table and then examining the spells written on the board. Apparently they weren't focusing on their gargoyles as much today, but the spells still seemed cool. Plus, she was still ready in case. That way she could go back to thinking about other things as she waited for the lesson to start. |
