Laura looked at Kace and pouted. "I'm fine, I swear I'm fine." Laura tried to get up but she couldn't. "Well I'm fine if I sit down here." Laura sighed wiping away a tear that had started to form, nope she wasn't going to cry. "I can't believe these shoes have broken on me." Laura looked down at her broken shoe, "My mother is going to kill me, she got me them for Christmas." Laura sighed, she was really upset about that.

"Yeah you are so fine..." Kace said with an arched eyebrow when she tried to get up. Kace noticed she was crying when she wiped away a tear. Kace didn't want Laura to think he noticed she he played it cool. He did feel bad that she broke her shoes and Kace was thinking these shoes were a knock off brand.

"Aww i am sure your mom won't kill you. She will just be flabbergasted is all." he said with reassuring smile. "Now come on, we need to get your leg checked out if you can't walk on it well." he said holding out a hand to help her get up.

Laura looked at Kace. "Look Kace." Laura snapped. "I've said I'm fine and I'm fine." Laura smiled. "I'll sent an owl to a friend call Belle and she'll tell me what to do, she's awesome you know and she wouldn't have pestered me to go to the Hospital wing." Laura really didn't think so.

"Oh she might." Laura sighed before rolling her eyes. "I'm not going to the Hospital wing without three bodyguards or at least Professor Romanos because the Healer doesn't really like me and I have no idea why." Laura pouted why did her foot have to hurt.

Kace arched his eyebrow...he knew a Belle. Could it be his sister? He might as well ask her. "You mean my sister? I have a sister named Belle." He even rolled his eyes and said, "Well if you think Belle wouldn't have pestered you, i know i am because i care about your health." He was being honest here and he wasn't gonna sugar coat it.

If Laura wasn't going to the hospital wing, Kace would leave her here and he would get his wrist fixed himself. "You think the healer hates you?" he asked skeptically. "I highly doubt that. Plus she couldn't be that mean if i am there to back you up." he suggested to her pointing to himself. That was a bad idea because he wrist was hurting.

Laura looked at Kace. "I don't know, but she left last year." Laura sighed, she really missed Belle. "If it is your sister, tell her Laura is still waiting for the owl she promised to send her and she wants one ASAP." Laura snapped she was hurting and wasn't in the mood for anything.

"Okay then I'll come." Laura said after a few moments pause. "But if I get killed or worse turned into a frog, you are taking the blame." Laura felt like giggling but her foot was hurting like crazy. "Come on then."

Kace nodded, "Well i will make a mental note and tell her in my letter that you asked about her. I am writing one for her now." He was gonna make that promise if he got her to the hospital wing. He knew she was snappy but she was in pain soo...she had an excuse.

Kace was reliefed when Laura agreed to come. "You won't get killed or turned into a frog." he chuckled while playfully rolling his eyes. "Alright you can lean on me and I can get you there." he was used to carrying things on his back when he was on the farm. He was strong for his age.

Laura looked at Kace. "Good." Laura snapped, seriously it was his fault Belle hadn't wrote, she was in so much pain at the minute and she wanted a Professor not the Healer but the healer would have to do.

"Oh If I do, I'm haunting you or following you around, going I told you so, I told you so." Laura said truthfully standing up and trying not to put to much weight on her left foot. "No offence Kace, but I don't think your strong enough for me to lean on you." Laura snapped. "You don't look it anyway."

Kace did not want to deal with her attitude but he didn't wanna leave her here. Kace rolled her eyes when she thought she was gonna die. She wasn't gonna die. Probably the worst thing they would do would call her parents or give her a lecture.

When Laura said Kace wasn't strong enough, Kace put his hands up and then said, "Well you can walk ahead of me then." Kace gestured just so he can see if Laura would fall or not. If she did, he would be there to help her.

"Hello, Mister Keller." Ivy gave him a quick scan of appearance, subconsciously... well, judging him. Eh. It happened without much thought.

"May I help you with something?" She was very busy, you know.

Asher hurried along the third floor corridor, scanning for a good location to do his final task for the assignment. He knew this one was going to be hard. He had to find the Polaris system...all by himself.

Finally finding a suitable location, Asher put his bag down and pulled out the equipment he needed and his wand. "There is a spell I'm supposed to use. What is that spell? I know it helps me find the system and see better, but I can't remember the spell." He kept wracking his brain until he finally realized he wasn't going to get anywhere without trying.

"I know it has to start with an S. It is for seeing better." Thinking as hard as he could about spells that start will "S", Asher pulled out his wand and commanded "Scourgify!" A stream of light blasted out of his wand and the walls around him where suddenly becoming cleaner. The floor was sparkling and the window was now crystal clear.

"Ugh, that wasn't it. Although, the corridor does look nice and clean now." He began thinking through "S" spells again. "Here we go again, Sonorus!" he commanded. He stood a moment, thinking the spell hadn't worked. "WELL, THAT DIDN'T WORK" his eyes widened. His voice was booming throughout the corridor at such volume that the armor along the wall was rattling. "I DON'T KNOW HOW TO STOP IT" He covered his ears. "PROFESSOR FLAMSTEED, HELP. I CAN'T MAKE IT STOP" Asher sat at the side of the wall, hoping someone would come soon to put his voice back to normal. He was afraid to say anymore in fear of disturbing the entire castle.

Hum de dum de dum. Airey was making his way back up from the kitchen to the Astronomy Tower with an ice cream cone in hand when he heard a student literally screaming his name. Sweet solstice the Headmistress was going to feed him to a flesh eating plant for this lesson...HE KNEW IT.

Stuffing the remaining bits of ice cream into his mouth - and getting it all over his face in the process - he sprinted down the corridor with his arms flailing. You know, big gestures would draw whatever was attacking the student away from him and towards the man. Either that or scare him away. Instead he was greeted with a VERY clean corridor. "While I DO appreciate your efforts to keep the school clean, Mr. Stinson, now is not the time to be doing so," he pointed out gently.

"YES, PROFESSOR. I DID NOT MEAN TO. I CAN NOT REMEMBER THE SPELL. AND, NOW I CAN'T MAKE MY VOICE QUIET AGAIN. I TRIED SONORUS. IT DID NOT HELP ME SEE THE STARS." Asher was quite embarrassed by the event and hoped the Professor wouldn't take any points away from him. It really was a mistake. "WOULD YOU HELP ME MAKE IT STOP?"

Why was the boy shouting? Short of hearing was he? Maybe Airey needed o shout back? Couldn't hurt. "DO YOU MEAN THE EYE FOCUSING SPELL? THE INCANTATION IS OCULO FOCALIS," he explained while making sure to enunciate each syllable loud and clear for the Hufflepuff. "YOU MEAN YOU....OH...."

So, he could stop shouting now. Oops. Game over.

Wand out, Airey pointed it at the boy. "Quietus," he said in his normal voice, casting the countercharm and relieving the boy. "You may want to get yourself some water if your throat is sore from all that shouting." Or ice cream, which was still all over the professor's face.

Wanting nothing more than to stop shouting, Asher patiently waited for the Professor to help. He smiled as the Professor yelled back at him, not realizing what Asher had done. After the counter spell was cast, Asher grinned and opened his mouth "Thank you, Professor. Thank you. I'll not do that again." Placing his wand back in his pocket "I guess you should know for sure what the spell does before casting it." He looked down at his feet as he felt his face start to blush.

Looking back up, "Thank you for reminding me what the proper spell is. I'll try that one in just a moment." Fidgeting again, Asher said "Um, Professor, you have something on your face." He pulled out a small handkerchief and held it out for the Professor to use on his face.

"If you recall your history, Harry Potter once experimented with a spell he did not know what the result would be...and we all know how that ended up."

Grinning at the boy now, Airey was about to turn heel and continue his way back towards the classroom when... "Something on my face?" he repeated, fingers poking at his cheeks and nose until they rested on the corner of his lips and he felt something sticky. "Ooooooh...that Peeves. Always trying to out prank me," he said when he looked at the ice cream remains on his fingers.

Ahem.

"Carry on and don't be late returning to the classroom. You have about 20 minutes left." Give or take a minute or so.

Asher thanked the Professor one last time and hurried over to the window. He didn't want to be late back to class. Holding his wand up to the window and preparing himself for any sort of accident that could occur, Asher commanded " OCULO FOCALIS" To his surprise, it worked. He was able to focus in on the Polaris system. "OH, that big one is Polaris A, the other big one is Polaris B. So, the little one must be Polaris Ab."

Packing up all of his things back in his bag, Asher headed back towards the classroom to turn in his work and finish class. As he walked, he thought about how cool it was to have his voice so loud. He would have to do that again.

Sigh..

Min sighed as she headed down the corridor towards the charms office. She needed to see Professor Knox to show her she could do the recording charm that she had been practicing. She made sure not to bring her ice cream, even though she really wanted some, with her because last time Professor Knox and her were near each other with ice cream it ended with her doing an extra paper.

Stopping she leaned against the wall rubbing her temples. It had been such a long month. So much bad had been going on. Thankful her hair was at least back to normal, she thought about all the dread that had happened and these headaches that just wouldn't go away. She really should get them looked at, but one.. the healer never was around and two she was still way to terrified of the woman to go ask for help.

Oh but she was going to be late, she needed to hurry up, moving she got her bag caught on the corner of a portrait and the strap broke. Minerva stood looking at the floor with everything from her shoulder bag scattered all over the floor. This was just not her month or few months. She really just wanted to curl in a ball and cry again or go to the kitchen for more ice cream either at the moment seemed to be a great thought.

Healer Tillstorm was walking towards her empty office counting down the minutes until it was time for her to go home. If luck was on her side she wouldn't have to deal with any major crisis before quitting time got here.

As she turned the corner she nearly ran into someone just standing there staring at the mess on the floor. "That stuff isn't going to pick itself up." She then got a good look at the child standing there.

Well look who we have here? None other than Minerva Wheatborn. And what's this? Lover boy wasn't with her. Trouble in paradise maybe?

As her brain processes where every item rolled to and how to fix her bag, Minerva jumped as someone came up scaring her out of her thoughts. Her heart stopped and she took a deep breath as fear jumped in her. Healer Tillstorm was there and she was.... alone..

GULP

The last time she saw the Healer she had let Minerva stay with Hadley, she had helped Hadley so she had to have something nice in her right? Or.. or was she nice because she was in front of more people and and now Min was alone.. alone in a corridor with her. Ethan was doing prefect rounds, maybe his rounds would bring him here.. maybe.. she hoped or someone would come along so she wouldn't be alone anymore with her.

With her mind going to terrifying places and her headache pounding she trembled as she quickly leaned down and began trying to gather all the items in her shaking hands. Feeling the blush of her face from nerves and embarrassment she tried to find a voice to speak. "I..I'm sorry, my bag broke and everything fell. I. I'll get it all cleaned up.. I.. I promise ma'am."

Not saying a word Healer Tillstorm took out her wand and fixed Minerva's bag. She then slid her wand back in it's holster. "Where were you heading Miss Wheatborn?" Was it possible the girl was coming to see her? The infirmary was on this very floor after all.

Minerva was trying to keep her head down and gather her items as much as possible. The faster she could get the stuff in the bag the faster she could get out of the Healers way. She didn't want to be alone with the wacka doodle any longer. She knew some of the things she was capable of now and she didn't want to see them again.


With a shaking hand she picked up some parchment, but dropped it again as her bag did something. Jumping she dropped the bag and backed away before realizing it was fixed. Looking at the bag for a few moments she then looked up at Healer Tillstorm. Did she just fix her bag? "I.. aaa Thank you ma'am." She said and looked down away from eye contact again. Finishing up on getting all the items off the floor, Minerva stood up and put her bag back on her shoulder. Crossing her arms around her she fidgeted nervously.

"I.. I was actually headed to Professor Knox's office. Part of the plan I had come up with over the summer with Professor Schirmer with the Healing was to make sure I was getting back on track with charms." She just wished now that she had an appointment so Professor Knox would maybe come out to look for her so she wouldn't be alone..

You know what was a perfectly legitimate meal? ICE CREAM. It really was. Who really NEEDED nutrients, anyway? Ice cream kept you energized like ALL the time and wasn't that what vitamins and stuff were supposed to do, anyway? PLUS it tasted like REALLY good. Eating ice cream was like killing a FLOCK of birds with one stone. Stone. Heh.

Aidan was on his second bowl already today and already running low again. And he'd JUST come from the kitchens! Last time, he'd only gotten to the fifth floor and had to turn around to refill. This time he was going to out smart the ice cream. Like a true Ravenclaw. So he turned around NOW to head back to the kitchen. This way, he'll still have some to eat on the way there!

His third bowl, he'll have to do some serious conserving.

The fact that the blokes bathroom was SO far away from the Dungeons made Ascanius twitch. S'not fair for all of the guys who had to GO to have to walk up the never ending charade of stairs. Especially those moving ones where if you looked down you- AHEM. Whatever. Pfft. He was cool now. Well, he was cool always, but right now especially 'cause he had gone to the bathroom and everything was all right and dandy.

So he was taking the stairs back down to the Dungeons-- the staircases that DIDN'T move-- and was thinking idly to himself about the summer. That was coming up pretty fast, yeah? And he had lots of plans. Smirk.

Ow. Oi. Hello. Walking here. With ice cream! Aidan looked up and up to see who'd run into him. And was none too pleased to see who it was. It was him. The boyfriend. With his UGHness and UGH. "Sorry," he grumbled. "But, you know, you have eyes, too." And HE wasn't carrying around ice cream or any other form of distraction. So, while Aidan did apologize, it really wasn't his fault. It was much more...Stark's.

Aidan took a few steps away to look at him better. Though, he really didn't want to, but Ascanius had an apology to accept.

He couldn't SHAKE this kid, could he? Ugh. AND Pen was all insistent that ice cream eater didn't look at her or whatever that way, but he had EYES. Eyes that were currently glaring at his stupid face. Ascanius wasn't obtuse. Pfft. Yeah, he just wasn't a pretty face...though he WAS that too. Bone structure like this wasn't normal. Smirk.

An apology? Good. He HAD after all been walking and this one had to bump into him. So yeah, he would take the apology with grace and humility. "Yeah, well maybe if you kept your eyes in FRONT of you, you wouldn't have a problem." Scoff. See? Grace and humility.

And yeah, he was ignoring that last part.
