"It was!" she said, nodding eagerly. She loved spending time with her siblings whenever she could...even though they weren't blood related, they of course felt like it. "Oh, and I have..." she paused for a minute to count in her head. "Three brothers." she finally said with a firm nod of her head. "Do you have any siblings?" she asked. |
*totally not a late reply* SPOILER!!: ELSY-PIE In hindsight, this early morning chase have not been one of her brightest ideas, especially judging by the look of Elodie's face as she chased Bliss through the trees. Plus, she was getting stitch. "Probably shouldn't have eaten all those jelly beans," she muttered, still running flat out. She had escaped now, so it was ALL good - for now. At least, until Els STOPPED her escape. Then .. it wouldn't be so good. CLIMB, CLIMB, CLIMBY CLIMB. From alllllllll the way up in the treehouse, she yelled back gleefully, "it's not cheating, it's using logic!" She could totally pass for a Ravenclaw right now, right? With all this logic going on. "What's the problem? Can't reach meeee?" She teased and poked her head out of a widow and peered down at Els. Her best friend had stopped for the moment, looking out of breath and also deadly. OKAY. Shuffle time. There was no doubt that once Elodie did reach her, she'd be totally killd, or .. tickled. Something equally evil to that, she assumed. EEEEEEP. 'Short legs?' She ain't got short legs. Well, maybe. Time was totally an advantage and they both knew it. It was just a matter of getting time to work to HER advantage. Elodie would eventually catch her if she didn't come up with a plan and fast. There were several levels to this tree house and Bliss was on the very top one, hiding behind a mysterious box. Once Els arrived and found her here, she'd be done for, so she needed a back up plan. Hearing scuffling down far below her, she edged further into the shadows of the box thing. Nothing to see hear, nope. OH. Could she use the window? Or was that just suicidal? Out of the widow, was a large tree. One she could climb in a last ditch attempt at escape. Although she was rather good at climbing trees, she was also rather good at breaking her wrist in fancy ways and she didn't want to make a fourth break. Poor wrists. So that plan, was kind of out the window. Literally. NEW PLAN? ... Hope for the best. |

"You're a cheater cheater, pumpkin eater!" Using the tree house was the biggest cheating step in the book. But Elodie forgave her because it meant that when she needed to cheat herself, she COULD. Oh, she was a genius, wasn't she? Ta da! Els continued her search for the other Hufflepuff, knowing she was somewhere close. She wasn't that far ahead. Bliss wouldn't have had time to go too far, right? And there was no movement anywhere. Elodie couldn't HEAR anyone creeping. Not that her hearing was perfect or remotely dog-like. "Speaking of pumpkins, I want pumpkin juice now." She called, contemplating giving up. Or atleast, giving the impression of that off. This was the worst game of hide and seek ever. "Sorry. Excuse me. Oops. You're in the way!" Darn students getting in the blighting way. Who were they!??!?! "Bliiiiiiiiisssss?" BLIIISSSSSS COME BACKKKKKK. Oh boxes. Els eyed the curiously and squinted. Nah, that wasn't anything, was it? |
SPOILER!!: ELODIIIIIIE~ Hmmm, this box was cosy. Bliss put her down on it and closed her eyes. Perhaps she could nap for a few minutes; her run up here and tired her out, or made her tireder than before and the burst of energy she'd felt before was nearly all gone. SIGH. Why had she been chased out of the castle again? Why had she climbed up into the tree house? Oh, yeah, cos she was BONKERS. Right. Made sense now. Oh, oh, oh, no yawning. YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAWN. Too late. Cheater? HER? Bliss? NOPE. That made her open her eyes. "AM NOT," the fourth year called back and then slapped her hands over her mouth. She hadn't meant to actually call out, just .. glare in Els' general direction. Too later now, oops. Now she was hungry, too. Why did her best friend have to incorporate food into her insults. HUMPH. How inconsiderate. Wait. What was Els doing down there? It sounded like she was just running everyone over. "Careful, Eloooooodiiiiiiiiieeeeeee," she giggled and then shut up again. She wasn't going to be found just yet. Nope. She'd win. Maybe she'd already won; she had gotten Elodie out of bed. That was an achievement in itself. GO BLISS. Oh, snap. A sound coming from just passed the boxes. Bliss didn't moved a muscle. Her only way out was the window to a tree, but, that was just ridiculous. She'd just had to stay as quiet as mouse, all tuckered down in the boxes. Then her tummy rumbled. SNAP. |
Quote:
Holla. Oh, noise from the B. Elodie smirked, and didn't make an attempt to reply but darted as quietly as she could in the direction the noise had came from. Oh, Bliss, did you never learn the art of being quiet in these kind of things? Apparently not. She let out a little laugh as she headed off though, almost in disbelief that they were fifteen and fourteen respectively and playing games to pass the time in the day. They jumped on beds, had sleepovers and sometimes camped out on their dorm floor. How mature? .... O_O "Hey B? You hungry?" That was a tummy rumble, and it had came from the boxes Elodie was stood watching. Nowhere to run, Ryans. |

Anyway. Oh. The team. Yeah... "Yeah, he did." She still wasn't one hundred percent thrilled with the idea, but she still admired the bravery of it, so she wouldn't bring back those problems. "It's definitely interesting. I wouldn't have thought he'd even try out before this term started." But Hogwarts was always full of surprises. "And I noticed Jake didn't try out this term..." Which was disappointing. He was a good player and fun to have on the team. She glanced over at Anya then and smiled a little. Her friend was cute. "Yeah, I bet it is. Good places are always better than bad ones. Though..." She trailed off thoughtfully for a moment. "I guess there has to be a balance for the most part. Good and bad. But more good than bad." No relationship was completely perfect and happy all the time after all. |
Quote:
Not that she was mean. But seriously, quidditch was no place for someone scared of heights. So it would be funny. She nodded. "Yeah. We talked and he decided not to." And she completely supported that decision. She nodded swinging her legs. "Yeah. Way more good." Which, was incredible for a relationship that seemed to be teetering on the edge of more bad. |

So they had a mother named Powder. Then again, that didn't really fit in with the salt and pepper joke Tag was trying to make. "Pepper and Powder. Oh Oh they can be P Squared! Because of Pepper and Powder. P squared." There there. Tag was still capable of making a joke. It wasn't in the exact direction he wanted to go, but it still happened. "Selling the puppies are bad. If anything they should let us adopt them or rescue them. Cause when you sell a puppy, I've heard, the owners or the pet store didn't take good care of the puppy." The little boy simply nodded as he listened to Mika thinking up of new words to say instead of tag, or else he'd be confused out of his mind. Why was Mika mentioning....tongue? Anyway, Tag tried to look beyond that because saying tongue in a game would be distracting and weird maybe? Then she mentioned spoon and a huge smile crept over Tag's face, from cheek to cheek all his teeth showing. Spoon. Spoon provided many great uses. But there was one particular thing spoon was good for. Picking up soupy stuff. "Spoon. Spoon. Spoon! We can play a game of ICE CREAM! Because people use spoons with ice cream!" BEAMS! "We can chase each other around with ice cream, and when someone catches a person we grab our spoon and take a bit or two of our ice cream!" Wasn't that a brilliant idea? And a tasty, delicious way of playing the game tag. There, he just reinvented it. "True. Only the coolest of people play tag. The game. Not me." Because no one was going to play Tag. |
Quote:
Treating puppies badly was horrible. Should have landed people in Azkaban. Seriously. Wizard or not. ICE-CREAM! She beamed at the word and then realized it was for a game name. ”Oooh! Ice-cream…that makes me want ice-cream,” she muttered and laughed. Because eating ice-cream in game would be awesome, and messy. ”We would have to have someone who would be the ice-cream delivery person picked pre-game and no one knows who they are…if tagged they don’t have to stop cause they have ice cream they then dive people spoons of it!” did this game sound suddenly fattening or was it just her? She did laugh – really laugh when Tag said that only cool people played tag…not him though, since he wasn’t the game. But it still made her laugh – really, really laugh. |

"Why?" She was just curious really. She'd seen he'd signed up and everything but then he just...didn't show. And he hadn't told her about it or anything, so she wondered. Jake didn't seem like the kind to just back out of Quidditch just for the heck of it. She nodded again. Mhm. More good was good. Obviously. She was quiet for a few moments, just thinking, and then asked, "So...how's studying for the OWLs going? If you're studying?" Anya wasn't usually crazy about studying and doing homework - one of the many reasons Penelope liked her - so she was curious to hear about how it was from her. Everyone else seemed to freak out over them and bang everyone over the head about studying for them, but they were usually the types who cared about getting O's or whatever on everything. |

Yes! Win! Mika wanted ice cream. Tag threw his hands up in the air and flapped them about in an odd manner. "Yes! Yes you should get some ice cream! Maybe for dinner. Get some for dinner." He said with a enthustiastic nod and great smile. Tag could already pick out a few delivery ice cream people. That part was easy. The boy liked the idea of the ice cream delivery person incorporated into the game. "They dive people spoon? Did you mean deliver? I think you've had too much of that soda, perhaps?" Tag told her in a slightly amused but confused tone. Awesome! Mika was laughing. That was a good thing. It wasn't very hard for Tag to make people and it seemed to be attacking Mika effortlessly. He was doing his job. |
Quote:
“Ice” she gasped out between laughter, “cream sugh-soun” and another bit of giggles – that were calming down of course later, “sounds like a good dinner idea” and beams again. ”I meant to say give…but I was thinking about this little place called Dave’s Dive-In. It was the local equivalent to Floreans over in Melbourne – I miss it really but Florean’s is better.” she beamed a bit. |
Minerva went up to the tree house. It was a colder day, but she wasn't worried about that. She loved the snow, maybe that was why she was in such a good mood. With everything that had happened lately she wasn't sure why she was in such a good mood, but she was. Smiling as she looked around. When was the last time she was even in here.. She couldn't remember, but it was alright. She found a place to sit and just smiled looking out at the grounds. The snow was soooo pretty and aww there were classmates playing in it, wasn't that wonderful. The day really did seem great at the moment. |

Once inside, Wade saw a familar looking girl. "Hey there." Yep, it was Minnie. "Nice view, isn't it." He then sat down by her smiling, relaxing his folded arms over his bent knees. "So, how've you been, Minnie?" |
SPOILER!!: Wade Minerva was sitting, smiling, and watching when she heard a voice. Turning her smile got bigger. "Hello Wade" Wow she hadn't talked to the sixth year boy in forever so this was great.. no more then great super. She enjoyed her conversations with him. How had she been.. Hmm she thought about this everything that had happened the other day, "I'm wonderful actually. Everything is just amazing." Looking out at the snow again, "I love snow.. It's so pretty and fun to play in." She then turned her attention on her friend, "How have you been, I haven't talked to you in forever and that just doesn't do.. We are the same house for goodness sake." She chuckled a bit, not even sure why. "What have you been up to? Hiding out on the quidditch pitch?" because if he was she should totally try to go and get more practice. "Ready for the season to start? I am so excited to be on the team again." If her smile could get bigger it just did. "I love quidditch" She glanced around the tree house, "So do you come here often? I feel like I haven't been here forever and I'm not sure why it's so a great place." |
For Laura! Kace was walking across the grounds, he still couldn't believe he played Quidditch there just earlier. He heard rumors about the tree house being the best place to have fun. He had to check it out for himself and see what all the hub bub was. As he made his way he realized it was SO cool. He loved it! He decided to run across the wooden bridge and look out the look post and pretend to be like a pirate or an adventurer. He was having the time of his life. It felt good to not worry about homework and just be free. |
For Lemon the Lion RAWR! After climbing up the massive tree, Jo had made it to the first level of the Giant Treehouse. Her bag hit the ground and she didnt even hear it make a 'thump'. Her eyes glanced around the room hungrily, taking note of everything inside. This place was now her favourite place in Hogwarts. Pulling out her Charms textbook from her bag, she took a seat against the wall and began reading. A few minutes later, she found herself yawning. Merlin, I need to get out more.. she thought as she closed her book and stared out at the opposite wall. |

Narrowly avoiding a missing board (was the school ever going to fix that? Where were those knuts from the turnstiles going, hmm, Truebridge?), she crawled over to the window and glanced outside. Last time she was up here, there had been cake. And tea. And a Cactus. This time, though, it was just her, wasn't it? Alice took another look around before noticing a girl over by the corner, reading. So not just her. "Charms? Really? If you're going to read school stuff, at least choose an interesting textbook, like Runes or something." |

She blinked and avoided looking at Penne. Well... it was kind of... her idea that he not play anymore. She hadn't forced him or anything. But there was something she was uncomfortable with and he took her side in it. "He... stuff." she said vaguely with a wave of her hand. Yeah. That... ... Yeah... Penne wasn't going to ignore that. She might politely let it slide, but she'd have to think of something better before she was asked next time. She laughed at the mention of OWLs and shook her head. "Not studying. I figured going over everything with Jake last year is enough for me to pass." And she wasn't hoping for any particular grades. She just wanted to do well enough that they don't kick her out. |

Quidditch season, heh. "Yeah, I love it too." Wade sighed happily at the thought of it, "While I liked being Beater, Chaser during the tryouts was.. surprisingly fun." He could see why his dad got into it. "I'm glad that I don't have to worry about hurting people as much now." Winking knowingly, from what happened last year. Oh, the Treehouse? "]You know.. I haven't spent much time here.. my dad told me about how he was the first to find it when he went here." Way back then, during Ancient times... Anyways, Wade then took a good look around in the treehouse. "Well, since last year was so busy," From those special O.W.L preparations and exams. Shrugging. "Figured now was the best time to hang out here, while we still can." Time was going pretty quick for them. "Any plans for the winter?" |
Even if it were just after the Christmas holiday and things needed to be done or started, an hour of her time could still be dedicated to exploring the grounds for a little bit. Specifically in areas that she never really focused on, like this AMAZING tree house! Her new little gift, or pet she would say, hopped along next to her as she moved closer to the one of the most marvelous ideas ever thought up in human history, eyeing the ladder every now and then. Were...professors allowed up there? |
Quote:
Acting like a niffler around too many shiny things, Airey scurried around the tree house looking at everything and trying to figure out which of the windows would make for the best stargazing spot. When his head popped out of one of the windows, he noticed Medea down below and a boyish smile tugged at his lips. "Medea! Heeeeeeelloooooooooooo!" he called with a wave. Oh! Was that the metal bird he had given her for Christmas she had with her? |
Quote:
Oh? Low and behold, professors were allowed! Right? "Hi!" Medea grinned, shielding her eyes from the sun. "Vot are you doing?" |
Quote:
"Just enjoying the day!" he called back. "Well, don't just stand there! Come on up!" Now he wished that he had the tie on she had given him. |
Quote:
Yes, yes she should. "Alright!" Giving one more glance around, Medea smiled to herself and took a hold of the ladder. Oh, flimsy thing. Ahem, no matter. If she could perfect over two hundred yoga poses, she could climb a little flimsy ladder. OH! Almost forgot Sonya! Backtracking, Medea picked up the little fake bird and set it upon her shoulder. Didn't have such a great grip like her spider did, but it'll do. The ladder was...harder to climb than it looked, but good Merlin, just LOOK at this place!! And and and! She suddenly glomped Airey with a hug. |
