*thinks you're craaay for being up so late. O_O So ferocious squirrel was not so ferocious, but it bought her some time and in that time she tried to move away from the sadness once more. Of course it was still with much, much difficulty, but focus was her key. Taking one last look at the dementor as it zoomed forward, Renesmee closed her eyes to focus on that circle full of happiness. She tried to push away the thoughts that haunted her most, the thoughts of loosing her best friend and that whole year afterwards. Those were the worst times of her life. What she saw in the circle of happiness were the best times of her life. Thomas was there, as well as Ethan and dancing was there, more specifically her dancing and getting into WADA for next year. Other friends were there too and as she focused some more on that all she could feel the depression fading away. She could fight this, she had to and before that dementor got a good hold of her feelings again. She had too much good stuff, ignore the school stress, that she wanted to be happy for. So dementors, this puff wasn't going to let you win today. Keeping her mind mainly on her boyfriend and dance now, Ness used every bit of energy she could to re-spark the ferocious squirrel of hers. Happy thoughts, that's all it required and scarily enough that's what the dementors fed on. "Expecto patronum!" It was a much louder voice than before, as well as a stronger squirrel. The white wisp of the squirrel went zooming ahead, first at the dementor before her. Had it worked? Was it ferocious enough, and for Elodie too, that was? She may have not been crazy about the younger puff but of course she cared about her right now. They were both in this together, whether they liked it or not. |
*disappears* The squirrel had done the trick for at least one dementor. It swooped away from the red head, zig zagging around the room from wall to wall trying to get away until it disappeared out the window. The window sill froze over with ice from the creature's close contact. Rattle rattle rattle. Just inches away from the girl (Shanners), the commotion in the room wasn't much of a bother to the dementor, until it's partner flew out the window. Letting go of the girl, it dived backwards and in a sudden moment, the squirrel was gone. Right into the mouth and belly of the dark creature. Swooping around, it too disappeared out the window and into the dark, leaving only coldness, gloom, and ice behind. Quick happy meals were the way to go! |
bye dementors, don't come back again soon xoxoxoxoxoxo In fear, Elodie remembered nothing of what happened in the next few seconds, but when she and her thoughts finally resembled a human...the dementors were gone. It was just she and Nessie there, and the seventh year had her wand out, as though she had properly used it this time. Which...which shook Elodie to the point where she stumbled away from the wall and against her. Into a hug, of course. One sided, or not, Elodie wrapped her arms around Nessie's middle and buried her head against her to cover the tears and the horror that was laden on her face. She still didn't have the time of day for the Head Girl, but she was mighty thankful for her being there right now. She still felt awfully sick though. Shaken, and sick.p |
Sowwie this is late! <3 It all happened quite fast, but thankfully it did work. Her ferocious squirrel saved the day and with a shocked expression all Nessie could do was watch. First her dementor swooped off, zig zagged and left leaving it's coldness behind. Next Elodie's dementor got affected by the patronus too, or by it's partner and went along following the first dementor. They wouldn't come back now right? She kept her wand hand where it was just in case. That whole thing was traumatic and Ness could see herself dreaming some dreams about this over the next few nights. It reminded her of other things she had been through..and not good things, but Nessie couldn't think of those things for much longer as she felt arms wrap around her. At first she thought it was a dementor again, but the warmth quickly made her mind change that thought. It was Elodie. Of course. Poor girl, so young having to get attacked by dementors. Hopefully the girl was alright. "It's alright now." She whispered wrapping both her arms around the fourht year. She didn't care how much the girl irritated her at times, this was a moment for hugs. "You're not hurt right?" A small, small pout formed on her face. And chocolates! Ness grabbed two chocolate frogs from the stash and handed one to Elodie. "Eat this. Should make you feel better." Because endorfins and all that. |
DADA Exercise In-doors exercise were as good as out-doors. Also, outdoors ones had a bonus that you'd have to walk all the way out from the castle. Mhhmm. Dressed casually with a band tucking her bangs of her in, Cassia jogged out to the ground aimlessly. She didn't have anything in mind as to what she was headed. She just let her feet move and take her wherever. As long as it wasn't the forbidden forest. She'd like to stay alive, thank you. Jog..Jog...Jog.. Tree house! Cassia stopped wiping the beads of sweat on her forehead as she her eyes were on the ladder. Hmmm....She had an idea. Last time she was here, she and Lex had an argument which resulted in the lioness bolting away and Cassia failing to follow her. She learnt a couple of stuffs out of that. First, never to freak Lex out plus her being a fast runner and the other thing being; the ladder wasn't easy to climb and descend. Mhhmm.. And that exactly what she was going to do. Yuup. Walking over to the ladder, the snake smoothed down any locks of loose her then sucked in a deep breath. Feeling that she was ready, she reached for the ladder and hauled herself UP! She didn't pause once her foot rested on one step as she put her other foot on the next then after a split second the other followed and so on! She reached the top of the ladder fast her breathing hard already though she paused for breath then started down on the same pace. By the time she reached the bottom of the ladder her breathing have become even harder. That was the point of the whole exercising. Again, she started up feeling her arms and legs burning. Her arms and legs felt weaker and she was finding trouble climbing up, her pace reduced but still was moving. At the top again, she was panting for air. Yet, she started down again, thought noticeably slower. But she was still going, SEE! And at the bottom she rested her forehead on one of the wooden steps and paused to regain some of her strength. If she lives she will continue. |

She wanted to just stay in this hug forever. It mattered nothing that it was Banshee, because Elodie was pretending it was everyone else. Her brother, her sister, her Coulson, her everyone. And then Nessie. Because..the Head Girl needed a hug too. She'd just like..saved them. "N...no.." She managed, wiping her eyes before trying to smile. "Just...just scared..." She didn't yet let go of the older girl, but nestled her face back into her until she made a movement for something. Chocolate. "I...don't think I have the..stomach for it right now.." |
SPOILER!!: Jo nodded and beamed at Alice's question. "Mais oui. I do. I speak it fluently. Do you speak French yourself?" she asked with a curious smile. Perhaps the Gryffindor did? Jo had no idea whatsoever. The blonde raised her eyebrows and gave Alice a curious grin. "I don't know, I've only played a couple of times besides I'm not that good. And why should I always pay attention?" she asked, shrugging nonchalantly. She didn't understand why she needed to pay attention to Quidditch that much but perhaps Alice was right. Maybe paying attention to Quidditch would help? Jo raised her eyebrows once again as Alice spoke with her mouth full. She cringed slightly. Manners were quite important to the young Slytherin. Her parents had taught her well. "Since your first year? How nice. I wish that I could have just come here in my first year. You must know a lot of people here." |

Squishing just a little more, Nessie kept her hands exactly where they were. Her caring role was surely on, she could be caring you see? In fact she was very caring when it came to important people. Wasn't she a badger after all? The hug wasn't one way though. Nope. This eighteen year old, no mater how adult she was sure did appreciate the hug. She appreciated it so much that she even managed to smile just a tiny bit. "Shhhh. It's okay." She hushed her like she was a little baby, then realized how stupid that must of sounded. "Um...I mean, yeah it was scary." TERRIFYING! SCARY WAS AN UNDERSTATEMENT. Nod. Nod. That was totally understandable. "Later you'll have then?" Or unless she had other ways of feeling better. |
