| | The Tapestry Once referred to as "The Mysterious Tapestry," this wall hanging first came to notice during Draconia's tenure as Headmistress. The passageway which existed behind the tapestry has long since been sealed, but the tapestry continues to be a site of great interest to those familiar with its story or those who appreciate such textile arts.
It also makes a convenient meeting place as there is no other tapestry as grand (or at the present, as in-need of a good vacuuming) as this in the castle. |

Dusty tapestry was dusty.
Like...REALLY dusty. Ella's eyes began to water and her nose began to itch as she poked the thing, a sneeze threatening to escape as the cloud of dust erupted. AHHH-AHHHHH-AHHHHCHOOOOOOO!
Meh. This class really did need a good cleaning. Ella couldn't live like this.
Tapping her wand on the vacuum cleaner she'd been lugging around, the sixteen year old said, "Vacavus!" She smiled as the machine sprung to life, eyeing the nozzle and testing it by placing her hand over the opening. Yup, it was ready to suck.
Carefully, the badger began to vacuum the tapestry. She started on the bottom right side of it and worked her way up as far as she could go. Then back down...then up...then down...and she continued on like this until she'd vacuumed as much of the tapestry as she could. "You look much better, y'know." She announced to no one in particular, a proud look on her face. She was quite good at this cleaning thing, y'know.

As he toted his vacuum along, the Slytherin passed by others at work. It was good to see everyone was getting active and participating in the cleaning stuff. According to his mother, cleaning was good for the soul...or whatever that meant. Apparently cleaning made one feel better? Dylan had to admit, he always felt loads better in a clean environment...In fact, he couldn't sleep if things weren't clean...
Actually, the Slytherin Captain was a bit of a germaphobe...
Cleaning didn't give him the same feeling as things being clean, though. That must have been a mother thing...
Up on the Fourth Floor, he stopped in front of the elaborate tapestry and figured this would be something different to vacuum. It was like carpet, right? Or at least a material that could be vacuum'd easily. Much better than stone. "Vacavus!"
As the vacuum powered up, he quickly snatched up the nozzle and began running it along the rich material of the tapestry...or was it still rich? Had all the dirty messed that up, too? Dylan couldn't be too sure with dust covering it...
Oh, wait...It'd died. "Vacavus!"
As it powered back up, he continued on...stretching his arms up and reaching his nozzle along some really bad areas. Was Professor Flamsteed sure they couldn't use magical assistance? ZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM all the dust!
After several minutes, the vacuum had died again...Yep. He was done here. The Slytherin hefted the thing by hand and continued up...

Hogwarts RPG Name: Kahlan Moriarty Second Year | For Sylvester ^-^ Kahlan was cringing at the memory of how dusty the tapestry had been... sure it was still dusty but at least now it could be seen... and the floor no longer seemed to be covered in centimeters of dust.
Something very convenient for her considering last time she'd seen the tapestry she had to leave in a rush because it left her in a constant state of sneezing. At least now most of the castle, including this place, was at least relatively clean. The food was still a bit of a problem, another reason she was looking forward to going home.
Finally the Irish girl sighed, sitting herself down as she started working on the letter that she was writing to her brother. |

Noticing the girl leaning against the girl writing, Sly smirked slightly as he wandered over to the Slytherin girl, letting himself drop down to sit next to her, trying to glance at what she was writing. "So what are you doing?" he asked without a hello, not bothering to say a proper greeting considering it was anyway just a pointless formality in his opinion. |

Kahlan flinched slightly when someone just seemed to appear beside her, before a small smile formed on her face, before quickly disappearing again as she lightly elbowed him in annoyance, rolling her eyes. "Well hello to you too" the girl muttered sarcastically, as she folded up her letter and shoving it in her pocket. "Just writing a letter to Liam... isn't there anything else that you have to do anyway?" she continued, turning away from him slightly, still annoyed by the way he'd treated her last time they'd run into each other. |

The boy let out a small chuckle as the girl next to him flinched, noticing how the smile that he had disappeared right before she elbowed him. "You aren't seriously still annoyed at me are you Moriarty?" he asked her, not really knowing what to say to her. "So how is your brother doing anyway?" he continued, knowing from previous talks with her when she was annoyed that all it took was managing to pull her slightly out of her shell and get her to interact that made her forget about what annoyed her.
And after that happened from what he knew of her, she could quickly get over what was annoying her. |
