A spider web network of paths links the Courtyard to almost every area of the grounds. The paths are plenty wide enough for you and a friend to take a walk together and enjoy the fresh air. Trees, shrubs, flowers, and benches line the walkways and provide a cozy atmosphere. Enjoy your stroll, take your time, and let go of the stress inside the castle.

He was smirking, because he'd looked at the qudditch Roster, before he had come down here. He had made it, and he was feeling pretty awesome right now. Kat had also made it, which was also making him feel good. He'd get to spend more time with her, which was pretty awesome. He didn't know if she knew yet, but he would certainly be telling her when he saw her.
There was a reason why he'd asked her to come down here though. He needed to tell her stuff. Since their kiss last term, and nothing coming off it, he had tried to forget her, or more so forget his feelings for her. But it was kind of hard to forget about someone he saw every day. So he'd decided, that she needed to know. And hopefully...she wouldn't reject him. Because that would just be tragic.
Okay so Kat was really happy right now. The reason was pretty obvious. She had made it in the team for the third time in a row, as if it wasn't too obvious that she didn't get in it you know. Kat was aware that she was getting a bit 'bad' in Quidditch, and she blamed it on the lack of practice during the summer. She knew she could do better and she had promised herself that she'd be as awesome as she was last term. But she wasn't making her way to the Pathways because she was happy about the result of the tryouts.
Cle had asked her to meet him there. Oh, so finally he wanted to meet her? If he didn't know it or even if he did, Kat was pretty updated with things. She knew that he had been sending lots of time with Juliet, but the blonde didn't have any negative feelings towards her. When she arrived at the Pathways, it wasn't that difficult to spot Cle. Who would miss the red hair, anyway? Kat went over to him, keeping a straight face (she was getting good with this) with her arms crossed. So...
...
"Congrats on getting on the team."

Clement was hoping that Kat wouldn't be too long. The longer he stayed out here on his own, the more he would probably lose his confidence. It wasn't as if he'd been rejected by a girl before, but this was Kat. And she was one of his closet friends. So... it would either end well or really good. He was hoping on the later to be honest. He ran his fingers through her hair, tucking his red locks behind his ears. He really needed to have it cut, or at least trimmed. It was getting a little annoying. He'd get that sorted during the Christmas holidays. His mom would be moaning about it anyway. His mom didn't really approve of his long hair. Not that he cared too much. He liked it.
He heard someone moving down the pathways, but didn't turn around until he heard Kat's voice. He smiled, walking over to her. Ahh. She already knew about the team. There went him telling her about it. "Thanks..." He mused with a smirk. He knew he'd done pretty awesome. "Same to you." She'd done pretty awesome too. He was glad that they had both made the team. Very glad.

Kat honestly did not know what this talk was for. It seemed to be something a bit confidential because it only would be them two. She was both curious about the whole thing, but also a bit glad about it. It was weird since Kat didn't know why she was glad about seeing him, since she could see him everyday at the Common Room, in classes, or just about anywhere. Although one place she didn't want to see him is when he's happy with *cough*anothergirl*cough*. She didn't want an explanation from Elise about this feeling, because Kat was scared about knowing the truth.
Yet, oh look, she was here and she was probably going to face the truth.
Oh, so he knew that he was on the team. Awesome. Kat managed a quick smile in between her straight faced-ness. "Thanks," she replied that, not noticing the smirk since she was looking around. Not that she wanted to leave or in a hurry, just that she was starting to feel uncomfortable about this. Weird, right? Katrina Hudson being umcomfortable was a rare thing. "So..." she trailed off.

It was getting kind of awkward. Something that had happened with them before. Clement had felt it in the last few months of last term. He hadn't liked it. But still hadn't done anything about it. He didn't really know how to. Or maybe he hadn't wanted too. He didn't know. Now he did though. He'd been spending time with other people, but he did just think about her. It was kind of hard when she was in the common room all the time, and in all his classes. He needed to get it sorted. So, hopefully today would be that day. Though if things turned out pretty negatively. It wouldn't be too good. He wouldn't let it get him down though. He wasn't going to get all bothered about a girl. Or...anymore bothered. Kat had been bothering him for quite a while now. he'd just not done anything about it.
"So..." He repeated, knowing he needed to say something else. He was the one that had invited her down here. She had no idea what he was going to say. So he had to be the one to start the conversation. But he really had no idea how to. He couldn't exactly just blurt out that he liked her. Or could he? No. Kat was...Kat. She might run away. "Kat.... I can't stop thinking about you..." That would do.

Kat could definitely sense the awkward. This wasn't the first time she ever experienced it so Kat knew what to do... or maybe not. She didn't treat the awkward like how she treated it before, all blank and fiddling with her hair. Because of her experiences with it before, Kat treated it like it was just normal although she could tell that Cle wasn't handling it well enough like she did. The prefect knew it if someone was having a lot of things running in their mind if they stayed quiet, and she had nothing else to do but just stand there and wait for one of them to speak up... which he did.
So... what? He had Kat's full attention now and she was even looking at him. He was going to say something and she knew it. If he needed time to pulling out some courage then Kat was giving him enough time. She was asked to meet him here to talk right? Well... spill it.
What Kat heard was really... unexpected. Uhm. She blinked for a while, trying to think about what Cle had told her. "I can't stop thinking about me too." Conceited moment, but that was kind of a bad move. "Eh... uhm, nevermind what I said," Kat told him. Merlin, she shouldn't have said that. "But... what do you mean about that?" Curious.

"If I haven't told you already, I'm Ky. Can you remember that? K-Y-Ky." He was ready for another scoff from Christina for talking to her like she's a little kid again. *Smirk*
Ehhh..."I dont' know." Honestly, Ky wasn't so sure about his thoughts for Hogwarts. No doubt about it, Hogwarts is far from the school he expected it to be. But still, there's that..feeling that doesn't make Ky want to regret coming here. "Maybe...maybe not. But I'm here anyways. There's no good regreting. So why not make the best of it." It sounds easy, but it would probably be more difficult to make it happen. Ky looked up at Christina. "You're new to this school too?"
There's nothing wrong with being little..
Huh. She'd already said that this boy was annoying, right? Now he became way moooooooooooore than annoying! "Just because you're taller than me it doesn't mean you judge me that I am little. Okay?" She snapped at the arrogant flower boy and punched him lightly on his chest. How could she met a weird boy like this, huh? Comparing to this boy, she's not that little. "And I know you're name. You're already mentioned it before." He did, but to be honest Christina didn't remember it because she was upset with him (and she wasn't good with memorizing people's names).
You're new to this school too?
"I am." She answered. "From Beauxbatons." She kinda missed that school for a few reason but mostly she started enjoying this place.. Despite of the money issue and other else. At least in Hogwarts there's a place for her rollerblading around and she thought that's enough. Well, there's no needed to regret so better to enjoy it and make the best of it. Just like Ky had said.
Wait, did she mean that she agreed on his statement? But.. agreeing on his statement DID NOT mean that she agreed on him, right?

Kat couldn't stop thinking about herself either? Clement raised an eyebrow before laughing. That was cute. Kind of rather egotistical. But Cute. He liked it. Standing here with Kat, he was getting a clear reminder of why he liked her. He needed to tell her though. Because he figured she really had no gotten why he had meant. He had to grow some back bone and just tell her. Though there was still part of Clement that was scared about her rejecting him. Would he be able to see her all around the castle if she did? He would not like that all. He would try and pretend that it didn't bother him. It would be a hard act. "You're pretty memorable..." He mused, with a little smirk. That was him trying to stop the awkwardness.
He took a deep breath. He had to get on with it, before he just lost all his confidence, and said it didn't matter anymore. "I mean..." He murmured, biting on his lip a little. He was just going to keep it simple. Because then she wouldn't get confused right? "I like you Kat." Oh wait. She could get that as in just friendship way. "Like... more than a friend."

Well, at least Cle didn't go scowling at her for making a bad move. They were having a really serious conversation and then there she was being stupid. It only helped Kat lighten the atmosphere up, since she totally hated the effects of the awkwardness around them. Honestly, nobody wanted to continue whatever conversation they had if all you felt inside was awkward and when things get even more awkward with the silence. Like something was left unsaid, and Kat could feel it. She wanted to know whatever he wanted to tell her since it seemed to be something oh so important that Cle had to tell her. Memorable. Hmm okay? "I would agree if you only said 'pretty' but I don't get the memorable part." Her? Memorable? Sounded like a joke.
He means...? Kat was listening to him, even tilting her head a bit. Well? Even if she was a patient girl, nobody wanted to be kept waiting. He liked her. Oh that's cool, didn't everyone like her? Kat nodded at him, but stopped when he said more than a friend. Err... Kat did not know what to say.
Was she supposed to say something now?
"I... like you too?"

Clement was nervous. Embarrassed even. He'd never really opened himself up to a girl like this. Left himself vulnerable. He really did not like it at all. He was not going to be doing this again. Though he was hoping that it would go well, because then he wouldn't have to do it again. It could go negative though too. Kat might not have liked him back. He hadn't really been able to tell at all. Which was why it had taken him so long to actually make the move, or pluck up the courage to tell her how it felt. It kind of felt good though. Out in the open. As long as she didn't end up laughing at him. He would not like that. "You're both..." He mused with a shrug. She was. She was very pretty, and memorable. Or at least she was memorable to him. She was always on his mind, it was kind of distracting.
Her words shocked him, though they were what he wanted to here. "You like me?" Though he sounded a little surprised. He liked it. He liked that she liked him. But...he was a little worried. What if she was playing him? That wouldn't be nice.

She was taking a few minutes to wait for him to say something. Kat didn't actually expect him to take that long. What was he even thinking right now? She wanted to know, even if that meant being nosy which was a pet peeve of hers. She knew that she also had her say in this conversation because she was involved in it, but it felt like Cle had more things to say than she did. Well, if she did have something to tell him Kat would've been the ask to ask him to meet her here, right? However it was the opposite so that clearly meant he had things to tell her, and privately even. "I know I'm pretty, thanks," she told him. Not the first time she had been called pretty, for the record but it was okay with her if they wanted to tell her again. It didn't help her ego though. Memorable though. She didn't know what the heck was memorable about her, but she wasn't going to ask anymore.
"Do I have to repeat what I said?" Kat said. He heard it perfectly right, or was he having hearing problems? "I have a pretty convincing straight face, don't I?" He didn't seem to have known it, if it wasn't for Kat telling him now.

Ky was a little taken aback with Christina's reaction. He didn't mean anything in a bad way...he was just saying that being little isn't a negative thing. "I wasn't judging...I never judge people by their cover..." said Ky, and he was being sincere. Even though he can seem quite juvenile at times, he has a good heart...many people just don't see it.
The Lion boy felt worse after the girl snapped at him. No girl has ever treated him like that. Ky tried hard to recall if he did or said anything obnoxious to the girl. Honestly, he couldn't remembered doing or saying anything offensive. Ky was just being...playful.
Oww! Ky stared at the girl in surprise. Did she just punch him? Seriously...what did Ky do to deserve such treatment? This girl was no angel...
But Ky pretended nothing had happened. "Oh, good. You remember my name." Ky flashed a smile at the girl, hoping that she will calm down...
Beaux batons?
Ky has heard of that school before. It was a quite prominent school in Europe too. Wasn't it. French of something? "Ooh..ooh..you know how to speak French?" Ky's eye lit up. He had always thought French sounded interesting...the way the speakers curl their tongue and rollllll....bonjure~~~

Clement had to decide that it was a nice feeling knowing that Kat liked him. Or at least he thought so. He was trying to believe that she wasn't playing him. She better not have been, because Clement could play hard too. But, if she did like him. It was nice. His feelings wouldn't be just his own. And he wouldn't look stupid right now. Clement felt like he should be saying something now. But he couldn't really figure out what to say. He was still thinking about the fact that Kat liked him back. Because it was a good feeling. It made the last few months of awkwardness worth it. Because she hadn't rejected him. Well not yet. He hadn't exactly asked her anything yet. He smiled at her again. "Pretty with a big ego..." He teased, grinning at her now. He kind of liked her ego though. It was nice to see a girl who knew she was pretty.
"No...no need to repeat." He mused, shaking his head. He got it loud and clear, and he really liked it. He rolled his eyes at her next words. "That you do Hudson." He teased, poking her cheek gently. "I'd appreciate less of it..." He murmured, taking a step closer to her. "It would be nice to be able to read you more easily..." Because boy did she confuse him so much.

So with that done, Kat wondered if he had anything else to say. Maybe none now, cos there didn't seem to be anything else to talk about... unless he needed help with homework or whatever. Maybe she could help him a bit with them, but right now Kat wasn't motivated to do any homework. Yeah, I know... lazy. Why? Was there anything else to talk about? Talk about Quidditch and the team roster, whatever they could talk about so that they didn't have to slip back into the awkward zone. Wait... excuse me? Kat eyed Cle for a while and crossed her arms. "Who you calling pretty with a big ego?" Whether it was or was not, Kat sort of took that was an insult. Apologise now.
No need of repetition. Okay, cool. He had perfect hearing sense which, if he didn't, would be a problem since Kat would have to repeat what she said (and she didn't want to repeat it because once was already enough). When Cle poked her cheek, Kat resist the urge to bite his finger. Stare. "I could've bit you, just so you know," Kat pointed it out. No poking. And she heard what he murmured. "Sorry, I can... put the straight face away and smile then?" she said and smiled at him.
There, smile. See? A real one at that.

Clement really didn't know what to say now. Should he ask her to be his girlfriend? That was what he wanted. He wanted her to be his girlfriend. But he didn't really want to push her too much. Not at all. He smiled at her. He figured that he had to say something though, or they would slip into that awkwardness again, and that was not fun. "Quidditch should be fun this year..." That sounded like safe topic. They were both on the team after all. He was pretty excited for quidditch though. To play for the house team. He was really hoping that they would win. Because they totally had the best team ever. Of course they did. He was on it. "You...." He mused, noting how she didn't seem to happy about it. "Sorry?" He shrugged, grinning at her. It was supposed to be a compliment, but maybe not.
She could have bitten him? He laughed a little. "Why didn't you then?" Not that he really wanted her to bite him. Oh no. He wanted something else instead. "Mm...you have a beautiful smile." All of her was beautiful really. To him anyway. He smiled at her. "Kat...." He was going to ask. Nobody ever got anything without asking. "Can I kiss you?"

Kat could feel them going back to the awkward zone. She had no topic in mind for them to talk about now. As much as she didn't want to be awkward again, she couldn't stop it if they had nothing else to talk about or if, well, they become awkward. For a while, Kat looked around and observed her surroundings so that she could be occupied until he started to talk. Quidditch, yeah.. okay. "It's always fun," she pointed out. There was never a time wherein Quidditch sucked, unless they lost a match. Sometimes Kat would just want to grab a broom and kick off. Being up in the air seemed to be better than here, on the ground. She had her reasons. Oh, her. "Forgiven," she said and because he wanted to be able to read her now, she smiled. See? Good bye straight face.
Why didn't she? What a question. "Because that would be weird, and what if you tasted gross?" ... Okay. Kat would never understand why Cle would like her after saying that. Great, she was probably bringing them back to the awkward zone. Beautiful smile though. "You're flattering," Kat said. Did he have more of them for her? Then the question...
STAAAAAAAAAARE.
"Dude," she said. "In front of a lot of people?"

The pathways were pretty. It was fall, and all the leaves were pretty. He hadn't really observed that before, being too caught up in what he was going to say to Kat. But he'd said it now, and now he could look at the pretty leaves. Well until he started talking about quidditch. He figured he should look at Kat whilst they talked. "It'll be so good to be back on the pitch..." He'd missed it last year. But hopefully he'd get to play lots of games this term. He was looking forward to it very much. He only hoped he performed well. Because it would be a bit sucky if he didn't. But he was going to practice hard. That always helped right? And he must have been good to get on the team. Aww. She'd forgiven hm? perfect. "Good..." Because it would kind of suck if she didn't forgive him. But she had. So it was fine, and Clement liked it a lot.
Clement smirked at her, before shaking his head. "I taste good..." Or so he thought. "I think..." He didn't really taste himself often. He wasn't a weirdo or something. "Well..." He shrugged, grinning at her. "I try" He did. And if it made her happy, he would do that more often.
Really? That was her excuse not to kiss him? "Kat..." He grinned, motioning around. "There's no one here." Unless you counted those couple of people up the path over there. Apart from them they were alone.

Well obviously with December being so close, it was getting colder everyday and the trees were starting to lose their leaves. One of Kat's favourite time of the year was winter and she couldn't wait for it, honestly. But that wasn't why she was here. She was still going to be talking with Cle, and she could admire everything around her when she was alone. In fact, she felt like it was a great time to actually go play Quidditch. Was that weird that almost every time was Quidditch time for her? Hmm... well. "Yeah, I guess," Kat said. "I haven't played Quidditch during the summer so I'm pretty excited to finally be on a broom again." And actually playing. Not just tryouts or practices, but on matches. It was different. Anyway...
Taste good? "Try licking yourself and tell me if you've changed your mind," she said with a playful grin. But she was joking... don't lick yourself. That's disgusting. And he tries? "You don't have to." Cos he was good at it already. Ahem.
No one? Really? "The last time you did, you didn't even ask." DING DING DING. There's your signal.

''Locked up.'' Richard repeated looking not so happy about it. ''Right.'' Exactly. What the Ravenclaw prefect had said was true. They were all pretty much locked in here. Or at least, to Rich this school looked like a huge prison taking him away from his girl who was now graduated and going to university. He was going to be 19 early in November and still was in the first step of magical education. Of course, he was supposed to think of these before he failed a year then got kicked out of his previous school. Anyway, even a cat could not get out so how was he supposed to get out and see Aurora?
When the Ravie mentioned Quidditch, though, Rich forgot about all those and smirked. Sports always made him feel better. Took his mind away from unpleasant thoughts. ''Yeah, i play but this is not specifically for Quidditch.'' he said ''I worked as a model last summer and i intend to keep doing it so i need to remain fit all the time. Better than fit if that is possible.''
then surely he had heard it before.
Ethan...hmm. It was like he had heard that name before. He was a prefect
''Richard...'' Rich replied ''...known as Turner to some, my last name, and most call me Rich.'' Yeah, that was it. ''Nice to meet you, Ethan'' Eh...it was nice to make a guy friend other than Dylan, after all. And who else...Maxwell the idiot but the Slytherin did not consider that one a friend at all.
A cat that was a flirt? That made the boy chuckle ''I would enjoy seeing that.''
Pursing his lips slightly, Ethan nodded in agreement to the boy's words. That's exactly what it felt like at times - locked up like a prison. And being of age, he didn't think it was all that fair at times. "You'd think for those of us that are actual adults, they'd at least let us come and go as we please, or even just a little more leeway.. Am I right?" He could certainly see keeping the younger ones in.. they were little kids and were prone to getting in all sorts of trouble. But once someone reached seventh year, did they really need to be treated the same as the little ones? He was 17 for Merlin's sake and a prefect meaning he was responsible for the younger ones. Wasn't he responsible enough to be trusted to go in to Hogsmeade and back on his own? "It would really make things easier next year," he mused aloud with a sigh as he glanced at the front gate again. Then he could see Min every weekend instead of just designated ones.
He turned back to the Slytherin as he spoke, nodding a bit at his words. He was right.. the bloke was a Quidditch player and.. oh? He shrugged a little. "It's good to be career-oriented, I think.. Good for you, mate," he smiled a little, knowing what it was like to pursue personal future interests. "That's what you want to do when you're done here?" That was an interesting career choice, Ethan thought. Nothing that really interested him personally, but he found it interesting all the same, not really knowing any models.
"Good to meet you too, Rich.." he said, smiling a little bigger in a friendly sort of way. Nice to make the acquaintance of another bloke, he thought.. somehow most of his Hogwartian friends were girls.. He grinned and chuckled as the other boy did, shrugging a little. "I don't know.. I'm sure she'd annoy you after a while," he said in regards to the cat. At least she annoyed Ethan when she acted like a boy magnet.. but maybe that was more because he was her owner and he didn't feel that was proper cat decorum. "Maybe I'll introduce you if she ever turns up.." he added, still chuckling.

So the last of the try-outs was concluded, and Forrest taught he got the general idea of the game. It was different than football though, and it'd definitely take him some time to orientate.
Or maybe, he'd never orientate at all.
Pushing the negative and SAD thoughts away, he realised he'd never praised Kahlan. "You were good there," he said timidly. Their talking about something he had no idea about made him turn to his shell again, and it took him some time to get out of it.
He just hoped they didn't notice he was distracted the whole time.

The leaves would be dropping off the trees soon he decided. It was nearly winter. Cle liked winter, though it was dreadfully cold up here. At least he knew that it was coming now. Last year it had been a dreadful surprise. He'd brought more jumpers this year though, so hopefully wouldn't be too cold. That was the good thing about France, it really was not as cold as Scotland was. "Nor me..." Not that he'd flown last year, so it didn't make much of a difference. "I've owled my mom, asked her to send me my broom." Because he knew he'd be much better on his own broom. He'd just been waiting to see if he got onto the team before he got his mom to do that. It was kind of a long way after all. But he couldn't wait to have his broom. He'd missed it a lot last year. It was going to be brilliant to fly this year, and play for his house team.
"Nah..." He frowned, shaking his head. "I'm good." He really didn't want to lick himself. He wasn't some dog, and licking yourself make you look rather weird, and he wasn't weird. He was cool. "I'm not gonna." He assured her with a grin. She was good to stay, he wasn't going to start licking anything soon. Unless there was ice cream for pudding tonight.
Mmm. She did bring up a point. "True..." He smirked, letting his hand move up to cup her cheek before he leant down and pressed his lips against hers.

He didn't mean to judge her? Okay, then WHY he was dare to call her little, huh? No one dared to call her little.. Well, sometimes her brother and her meanie cousin called her little too but they usually did that to insult her. So? Christina thought that this Ky dude was kinda.. insulting her. Huh. "Okay, stop calling me little because I am not that little..." Based on her height, of course. "And I'm not that younger than you." In short, she'd never approved of being called 'a little girl' and she hoped that he would remember that. She was sure that she's gonna smack his face if he still dared calling her little again.
Oh, you know how to speak French?
OF COURSE she knew how to speak French because she'd lived there for four years. Even though Christina wasn't very fluent but.. at least she could."Oui, je sais parler français." She said and smirked. Maybe it was a very basic one but.. Well, she didn't need to show off right? Because, this Ky dude seemed didn't understand French at all. And why did she need to spend more time with this weirdo? "You know what? I think I need to go now because.. I still have homework to do." She lied. She didn't have any mood to work on homework actually, but all she wanted to do now was escaping from this annoying Ky dude. Seriously. Christina turned back and walked, but she forgot that she's still putting on her rollerblade and that make her accidentally fell backward.
"Ouch!"
Huh, it seemed like a bad day for Christina Jung
Oui, je sais parler français = Yes, I know how to speak French.

Well okay...if Christina didn't like being called little, then Ky wouldn't call her that anymore. No need to be snappy...and that punch was totally unnecessary too. Besides, this girl takes things too literally.
"Okay...if you don't want to be little..." Ky doesn't like to see girls frown. He wants a smile soon! "You're a good, smart BIG girl!" Now, how did that sound? Ky had never seen a girl being joyful about being called a big girl, but maybe his girl is different.... maybe Ky is just being annoying and he doesn't realize it...
Oui, je saees paarlawhala what?
Ky tilted his head to his side, trying to decipher what the girl had just said. It was in French, right? "Umm...bonjure!!" Hopefully he just said 'hello' in French. "I know...I am pretty handsome." Ky smirked, assuming that Christina just complimented him in French. Well, who wouldn't?
Go? now?
"Wait-" Ky didn't get enough time to chat with her yet. Even though she can be quite moody, she was an interesting girl to socialize with. Before Ky could say anything else, Christina tripped on her own rollerblades and fell backwards. Ouch..that mist of heard.
Feeling a little sympathetic, Ky walked over to her to make sure she was okay. That was quite a fall. "Are you okay?" Ky asked in worry. He stretched out a hand for Christina to take.
Removing his Binoculars from his breast pocket, the astronomer blew on them to remove any bits of dust that he could before using his crimson handkerchief to wipe them off as well. Couldn't go get dust in his eyes now, could he?
"Doing quite well now that the castle seems to be a bit more clean thanks to all your efforts," he said with a quick wink. He was sure Toddles appreciated their efforts as well. Left the tiny house elf with more time on his hands to enjoy life. Then again, the poor thing had seemed rather depressed since the others had left. Maybe he should have some ice cream.
"I am indeed. I am a big supporter of Puddlemore United and Wigtown Wanderers if I had to pick and choose." Although he would attend any match should he happen to have tickets. Did she know that the Hogwarts Board of Governors had a quidditch star among its members? Very exciting stuff. "What about yourself? Besides your house team that is."
Kahlan nodded, understanding exactly what he meant. She'd found the difference once everyone had started vacuuming Hogwarts to be insnae! It was just sooo.... clean!!!! In fact it made her quite happy to believe that Hogwarts had, at least at some point been an amazing and truly magical place to have been.
And then the blonde was beaming at the Professor, while it may have been incredibly biased she definitely was a proud supporter of Puddlemere United, in fact she didn't really have a choice in the matter but either way she still felt happy about that fact.
"Well I also support Puddlemere United, my brothers on the reserve team, Liam Moriarty" she explained, beaming with pride at that fact, though she hated that she was related to him at times. Although considering he was part of the reserve team he wasn't well known, thankfully. "But otherwise I support the Ballycastle Bats" she finished her musing, it was a part of her Irish pride that made the witch support that team.
And still figure her brother probably should be playing reserve for them.

Considering a lot of her childhood and family memories centered around Quidditch being told that she played well - by anyone- was a big thing for her considering it was usually her brother that was told that he was good at it.
"Thanks" she replied, still beaming at him and fighting the urge to pull him into a hug, something that would've probably been another awkward moment for the two in just this one conversation! A small smirk started playing on her face though, remembering how he'd seemed quite worried for everyone who played. "Maybe one day I'll get around to teaching you how to play after you teach me football" she teased, emphasizing the foreign word, proud that she'd remembered it.
Though she was being truthful, if he wanted to learn she'd be happy to to teach him though she wouldn't make him if he really didn't want to.

"Are you really?!" he exclaimed at the young lady. Fantastic! "Did you know that the Board of Governors has the Puddlemore United Rookie of the Year from 2078 on it?" At least he was pretty sure that was the year. He had voted for the young man - not just because he was a fan. The boy had a lot more going for him than just that.
The young Hufflepuff boy seemed to be a bit shy on the subject and the astronomer was sort of putting some pieces together. He was not confident in magic and acted as though he had never held a wand before let alone seen it prior to Hogwarts. Now he was nervous about quidditch talk. Was he a muggle born?! If so Airey potentially had a billion and one questions for him - but he would spare the boy because there was talk of football.
"You're a football fan, Mr. Charlton? Which side are you on?"

"You're a football fan, Mr. Charlton? Which side are you on?"
So, Forrest didn't say a completely outrageous thing now that she was beaming, yes? He grinned back, though his grin was still on the insecure side.
"Yeah, sure," he reassured, even though he had no intentions whatsoever to fly. He could fall and die, did she know? And there would be no one to save him. He didn't still quite trust magic and wizards, but she wouldn't want to know these, of course. He'd find a way out when she insisted to teach him how to play.
When his favourite professor asked him about football, you should have seen the SHINE on his face.
His confidence was back in a second.
"I am." He GRINNED as he was extremely happy to see him KNOW about it. Then he got serious, because football was a serious business. "Tottenham," he shot fast and directly, EYEING the man for a moment to see his reaction. It'd be disheartening to see his favourite professor on the side of Arsenal or Chelsea.
