Penelope just laughed when he mimicked her. The mimicking obviously meant he knew she was right, he just didn't want to admit it. That was okay though. SHE knew she was right, and he was cute when he got all sassy.

She shook her head a little in an attempt to get some of the snow out of her hair, but she couldn't tell if it actually helped much. She still felt cold all over. Hopefully they could go in soon and get warm - AFTER she won though. And only then. Because she was definitely gonna win this snow fight.

Her large bunch of snow didn't cover him as much as she had hoped, but that didn't matter because he was already clearly trying to retaliate. She crawled backwards quickly, trying to get away from the snow he was dropping. A lot of it still got on her legs, but that was better than on her head. And while she was scrambling away from the snow, her feet purposely accidentally kicked snow back up at him. Oops? Heh.

There was nothing like the sound of terribly loud explosions to wake you up on a saturday morning. Only the most important things could get her out of bed at such an early hour (just ask Lottie).

This was the only available time though. Once it got to being later people would start flocking to the lake wanting to look out or find the Giant Squid or something else that would no doubt distract them in such a way that they would get themselves blown up. Once that happened you'd hear that it was her fault instead of the idiot who refused to watch where he was going.

Still, 7 wasn't all that early. Not early enough to make the explosions prettiful. Maybe she should have asked Nigel to meet her a bit earlier? Something to keep in mind.

She watched the pile of rubble, just useless things she'd found around the castle, while she waited on him to get there. Already she was anticipating the BOOM.

7 am was the perfect time to make things explode. Most people were not up and the Lake would be empty. Best not hit anyone the debris. Now he could not remember if Lex told him to meet her earlier or not. But whatever. It was still pretty early.

Nigel had brought with him some prime materials to blow up. It would be awesome to make them explode different colors and watch it. Maybe they could make fireworks and sell them. Eh, just an idea. He walked up to her from behind and noticed her paying attention to a pile of rocks. She did not seems to notice him. Which gave him an idea.

There was only one way to make them both as wide awake as possible. Nigel pointed his wand at the pile and cast the spell.

BOOM!!

Now that was an explosion.

BOOM!!

Blink. Blink.

MERLIN'S BEEEEARD!!!

She knew she'd been expecting a 'BOOM' and they said the mind was a powerful thing but THAT was ridiculous! How had it even? She didn't do anything yet and Nigel was late--Nigel! Lex whipped around, now understanding that she didn't in fact have the power to blow things up in her mind so that one Puffer kid was perfectly safe. Bummer.

"Nice one! Nearly gave me a heart attack while you were at it." GRIN. Oh but now he was here and they could properly get started. "I've brought some things and I see you have too. This'll be epic, I imagine a morning full of explosions, can you picture it?"

And there was that dazed look, the one that said she was completely lost in the idea and couldn't wait to get started.

"Are we gonna see how high we can get it while we're at it?"

Harvey could not believe what she had done, sure it was fun but still. But it brought a smile to his face as she dried him. He nodded "Yup all better" he chuckled as he shook himself careful not to drop his lovely ice cream cause that would be a disaster! He shook his head as she asked if he wanted a warming charm "No but thanks for asking, I think I am good. But you can warm yourself if you want just not me" besides if she did warm him she might accidentally warm his ice cream and melt it and he couldn’t have that! Better to be cold than sorry!

He watched as Mins looked around before revealing that she wanted to play in the snow "Well I already saw that when you threw some onto me, no idea where you got that much snow from but man that was alot!" he chuckled shaking himself a little more. "Fun? Ooh what kind of fun? Anything you want me to join? You know distract a fellow here a fellow there" he chuckled before she looked at him and asked him a question. He decided to bend the truth a little "Nah!! Thats not me anymore! Im Mr Ice Cream! And Mr Ice Cream is never sad! He is the happiest guy in the land! He and his wonderful sugar goodness make each other the happiest they have ever been!!!" he chuckled "Woohhh man! This ice cream is lovely! I almost want to keep it like this but then I need the wonderful taste on my buds!" he chuckled as he looked at her as he realised all the rambling he just did, well that was like his old self. He was always the rambler, Ella had loved that about him.

Nigel tried hard not to make a sound as he watched Lex's reaction to the explosion. It was extremely difficult not to burst out laughing when it seemed she thought she could blow things up with her mind.The look on her face was priceless. Though that power would be so AWESOME!

"It woke you up though. And those rocks flew pretty high and The Higher the better. Unless you want the explosion to go underground?" Nigel had no idea how to do that. But it sounded cool. He watched as the rocks just came down on the lake. That was a good two minutes in the air. Impressive.

"But lets try not to hurt the giant squid though."

Debris was never good. Nigel started to walk with her to get the soon to be exploded items ready for launch. This was going to be EPIC.

Well he was right about that. "It sure did! Thought I'd fall asleep on my feet waiting for you to show up and the noise to start." So very nice entrance dude. She couldn't say she was approached like that by many people before.

Lex look up at the airborne debris. Somehow, she didn't know it all would have flown so high and she turned her gaze to Nigel, giving him an approving grin.

WAIT WHAT???

"Underground explosions?? COOOL!! I don't suppose you know how to set something like that up??" But he was a Ravenclaw. They boasted about knowing most things. He had to know. "I doubt we'll hurt the squid. He hardly surfaces, I should know, I sit looking for him on some days." Sad but true and he never showed up once. Ruuuude really.

But back to the explosions, she helped him get the stack ready. "Alright, this looks good. We'll need a BIG spell though. Any suggestions?" She had a few.

"Thank You" Nigel took a bow jokingly. It was a heck of entrance. Once Nigel thought about it. Eh, now they have to explode some more stuff.

Maybe the squid would not mind the explosions. Since it might be too far underneath the water. Nigel started to ponder this a little. Until Underground Explosions got brought up. Nigel started to think then gave a reasonable answer. "Well you could cast the Blasting Curse at the ground and it would cause the ground to explode." Yep that was all Nigel knew about those explosion. "We should also use these to make the explosions different colors like fireworks." Nigel said pointing to something in his box.

Good the squid would not get hurt. Wouldn't want to get into trouble for hurting the schools giant squid. Even though i doubt we are allowed to set off explosions either. Oh, Well.

A Big Spell. The only one of the top of his head that he knew was the Blasting Curse. "Well the Blasting Curse would work and maybe Stupefy. You know any other spells that would work."

Lex thought that over. Blasting the ground? "Neat!" She kicked at a rock near by. "But messy, real messy. Can you imagine the Headmistress taking a stroll on the grounds and finding a gaping hole--a super cool gaping hole mind you, but a hole nonetheless. Heads would roll." And it wouldn't be hers either. Not if she could help it.

Ooooooooooo!! Things to add colour to their explosions!!!

"Brilliant!! You have the kind that turn explosions blue, right?? It's not a prettiful explosion without that." And now she was bouncing. Whatever they exploded would look so cool now. It'd have been better if they had actual fireworks but it'd be bright out soon so that'd just be a waste.

Oh, those were good ones. "I haven't learned the blasting spell as yet but I know stupefy. We could also try Expulso. Mr. Vinteren taught me that one, it does wonders, Bombarda could work too; taught myself that one--Questions!" She turned her curious gaze to him. "What do you think would happen if we both aimed our wands but uttered different spells? You think the explosion would be bigger???" They should SO try it!

Excited?

Just a lot little.

As soon as Tag wrapped an arm around her and squeezed, she twisted round and hugged him probably. No need to do things half way - besides, hugs were serious matters and Bliss liked them to be done properly. "Anytime, Taggy," she beamed and lent back, sitting across from him on the picnic blanket. "I ... um, thank you!" Cue blush. Her cheeks flamed; she was used to getting compliments from some people West, but not Tag, so it was a sweet surprise. Soon, her cheeks calmed down and her date got out the basket and - wow - a lot of food.

Heh. It felt weird calling him her date.

"And you can't have a nice picnic and have eaten loads?" She teased and beamed. In truth, the only thing she'd eaten was a few jelly beans for lunch; she really had been saving herself for this and Tag certainly didn't disappoint. Before her were all manners of different food. Lasagna, yum. Oooh, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches - that made her think of Blue. She wondered what her best friend was doing right about now. Cheese! That made her think of Alice, which made her both sad and angry and no- oh, look, jelly beans! "It all looks great, Taggy!" she exclaimed and then mumbled, "especially you and the jelly beans."

Ahem. Nothing to see or hear here.

"True. Especially since she loves plants and all that." Making holes in the castle grounds would make Firth and especially Truebridge furious at you. Might even be expulsion worthy. So she wanted a blue explosion. Nigel dug through the box until he found want he was looking for. Got another one for himself and handed the blue one to her. To add to their awesome stack. "I'll use this orange one and you can use the blue one and lets see what happens."

Nigel almost slapped himself on the forehead for forgetting about Expulso. It was another Curse like the Blasting One. This was becoming more fun by the second. "Oh right Expluso would work. I did not know about the Bombarda one." Interesting spells, they had here.

THAT WAS AN AWESOME IDEA. "Definitely. You can use Expulso and I will use Confringo and let see how high it will go and what colors we will see" THe colors were very important. You can never forget about Aesthetics.

Once they finished stacking the exploding materials. Both got into position to start casting. "Okay, Now the count of Three. ONE, TWO..."

"Oh yeah, there's that too..." In all her figuring it was hard to believe she'd forgotten to factor in the woman's love for plants and the like. This made the ground explosion even less likely to happen. She trailed off as she watched him fishing around in that box of his. OH! BLUE! "Awesome!!! They are complementary colours, aren't they?" That'd make it even better. They could even brag about knowing Art in case any Professor walked up.

He agreed on Expulso. The spell was pretty epic, you had to admit. "You haven't? It's rather simple once you have the intent and concentration. We should get to that one after this." So many prettiful spells that made things go BOOM. She was grinning from ear to ear.

"Heeey, wait...that blasting spell, Confringo. It's better at blowing up people." Just a fun fact she'd read once. Really she should have taken the time to learn it. Some other time.

Some other time specifically because they were getting started now! After making sure she was a good distance away (no accidents today, thanks) she got her wand at ready alongside Nigel. They were going on his count. Sorta. "THREE! Expulso!" She casted in sync with his casting and was captivated by the BOOOOOM!

The explosion was high and filled with colour, she couldn't look away until debris started blowing toward her. All over really. Her hands raised to block her from anything but once everything became normal again she had the WIDEST BEAM EEEEVER. "THAT WAS EPIC!!" All the colours and the right lighting!! She didn't even know where to begin. JBDLGFFUGFB!!!!

She heard his compliment to her! Good. And, it looked like she liked it! Yes? Because her face was slowly turning red, and then she tried to play it off coolly. Either he could embarrass her and poke her cheeks, or he would just not point it out at her at all. Ok. He leaned forward and just playfully poked her cheek, though he said nothing about them turning into a rosey color.

"Exactly! So I do hope you're hungry. Or else I may just wait forever until you actually get hungry. " That was kinda weird to say. Hoping someone was hungry. But it was reasonable to think that, especially for this time. He then fumbled for the juice and poured her a bit, and carefully set down her cup in front of her. As the saying usually went 'girls first' Tag picked a plate for her and held it in his hands. "Hello. My name is Tag. I will be your waiter for this evening. And, for starter's what is it that you wish to have my favorite and only Blissy?" Yes. Tag just pretended to be a waiter. He was trying to be humorous to an extent because, well, he wanted to mask his nervousness.

"The food looks good, really?" Tag said in a shocked tone. There was a reason why nothing here looked like he had to cook it all himself. It was mostly easy cooking that he couldn't mess up. Then she said he looked great, at least, that's how he heard and saw it. An the little blonde's eyebrows raised a bit as a small smile spread over his face, "Thanks! Oh yes, jelly beans. Couldn't forget those." He nearly checked five times to make sure he had packed those.

They were complimentary colors. That was why Nigel picked orange to see what would happen. It was an awesome experiment to do when blowing things up. Just hope no professor come down and see what they are doing. Though they could do saw this was an art experiment. Seemed possible.

True that Confringo was better for blowing up people "True. But let's try it on this. Worth a shot". It was worth a shot. Not like they were blowing up people or anything. The Colors were amazing and it looked like fireworks to Nigel.

"THAT WAS AN AWESOME & EPIC EXPLOSION!!!. We have to do that again and make it bigger and better."

But what colors would they use this time. Should they use more or only one. Nigel could not decide."So what colors do you want to use this time?" Nigel shows her the box full of different colored thing to explode.

Despite the fact that there was a still a ringing in her ear from the explosion just now they were already talking about getting into another one. She liked this guy, he had the right idea. There was no breaking from explosions or you would lose the momentum of it all. That was the worst in a situation like this.

"Of course it was epic! It went so HIGH!! Good thing we chose the lake. Kinda open and early enough to be idiot-free."

Alexa walked over to the box and took a look at the colours. Really she wanted to suggest blue again but she figured he wanted to see something different and these explosions weren't supposed to be the same. "I like that shade of purple. We can add it with ummm...you choose the next colour. I think that's how we're doing it anyway." It'd have been selfish to pick both colours.

"Should we dd more to this pile or...just more blast power to get them higher?"

Of Course you had to keep on exploding things or the rush and excitement of it will wear off. You don't want that. "True. We probably picked the best spot to do this."

That was one EPIC explosion. Now time to one up it. It was possible. But different colors this time and maybe they would use the same spell this time. Worth trying something different. Nigel watched as Lex picked a another color. Purple. Nice.

"Okay. Since you are picking Purple. I'll pick Yelllow. Complementary Colors and all."

Great Idea. Nigel nodded excited. This was going to be awesome. "And lets both try Expulso this time." Nigel continued to help her stack and asked her "How high do you think we should make this pile Lex?". While secretly adding something from his box to the explosion. Some Wildfired Whizz-Bangs.

This was going to be more EPIC.

Alexa was nodding her full agreement. When she thought about it there was really no where else they could gave gone. Most other places had tons of trees and she didn't feel like explaining to her Head of House, the Herbology Professor, why she went getting trees blown up. It'd obviously be an accident but the woman was hormonal, the outcome was unpredictable!

"More complimentary colours! We might as well had put on a show!" GRIN. Not that she thought inviting people and charging them would have been a good idea. Forget the moral aspect for a moment, people would tell. There's always that one kid who has that little voice in his head, telling him he has to let someone in authority know everything. Her cousin was like that but she liked him too much to try beating it out of him.

Oh? "The same spell?" There was an idea...it'd make the results a bit more interesting. Double the strength of Expulso? This she had to see! "We'll give that a try. For now..." She stepped back and eyed the pile. "I think this is high enough, let's give it a try."

Lex grabbed the box and pulled it at a distance then gestured for him to come as well. No need to get himself blown up in the middle of this. "On three again?" She asked, wand at ready.

Candy. Lake. Hufflepuffs.

Seemed like a legit combination to Ella. The sixteen year old made her way happily down to the meetup spot, her backpack filled with sweets and blankets and whatever else they might need for some team bonding. Someone would surely be bringing ice cream too, yeah? Cause ICE CREAM and they could have gummy worm sundaes and that could only add to their good time, obviously. Maybe Oakey would even bring his bass? Team sing along FTW? Yes, please.

Speading out one of the blankets on the ground, the blonde flopped down and began happily munching on some gummy worms while she waited for the others to arrive. BEAM. This was going to be fun.

Fast, he was going to fast, he had lost his footing again for like the millionth time going down to the Lake. He didn't trip but the sudden surprise of it made him unbalanced and was now running and fumbling down the hill to the meeting spot. His Bass was flying extra fast directly behind him.
"Make way!" Oakey called down, to Ella.

His wand had decided to go haywire on him again and when he accio'd his bass. It was flying at him at a speed he was not going to risk catching it with. Oakey ducked behind Ella and held his wand out again. "Arresto Momentum" he yelped a few feet before it collided into them. The Bass slowed down, and Oakey moved out from behind the Captain and snatched his bass as it SLOWLY came to him.

... "Sorry."

So... the team was supposed to be meeting at the lake? okaaay, sure. With his Uke shoved into his backpack, and Toad sitting on his shoulder, he made his way out there, and wandered over to where he saw the captain. NOT Captain, just, the captain. "Hey Keeper Lady," he said dropping onto the blanket beside her. "Sooo Whats up?" They weren't going to have a lecture were they?

"Of Course We probably could do a show. But not in Hogwarts with all the plant lovers here." Not that Nigel hated plants and wildlife. They were just cooler if they exploded and such. Much cooler.

"For Now....?

Nigel began to wonder what she had planned for after this from the vague way she said for now... Nigel would just have to wait and see. "Yeah Count of Three sounds good." Nigel and Lex got far away enough to not get hit.

"Okay, ONE, TWO, AND......THREE!!!"


BOOM!!

AWESOMELY EPIC. Nigel watched with his jaw dropping as the fireworks went off with the already exploding stack of stuff. All the colors and awesome stuff. Nigel did not knew how to top this. Too Awesome. Nigel just turned to Lex with his jaw still dropped. Lost of words.

So, here Wade was walking through the grounds. He hadn't had his usual nap yet, so juuuust incase he wanted to be dressed and comfortable. Oh, and Wade brought pickles with him! "Hey, you guys. He began chewing on one of the many in the large jar that he held in his hands.

BOOOM. She heard that, there was a definite BOOM-sound earlier. An overly excited Ravenclaw was pulled from her hiding place – the broomcloset of the Quidditch Pitch, and had run down the grounds as fast as she could get there.

Seriously, she didn’t want to be spotted by anyone until she got there. Eying the people around her she just beamed. Alexa and Nigel, she wasn’t embarrassed to see either of those two people. So she just smiled and snuck forward.

“HEY” she bounced over toward them. “You guys setting off fireworks?” She asked beaming up at the light show showering the skies above them. “I’ve got homemade fireworks if you want to try setting them off” she beamed.

Minerva laughed at Harvey and his ice cream.. oh ice cream, why didn’t she bringing any. Oh well she would just take his in a second. “Glad you’re all better, but I don’t need dried. I didn’t get snow on me.” She stuck out her tongue and plopped down beside him taking his ice cream out of his hands before he had a chance to say anything. Smiling at him she took a bite of it.

She chuckled at him rambling… BOY COULD RAMBLE.. “I was thinking a snowman, but since I already made you a snow Harvey I guess I can check that off my list.” She laughed and took another bite of his ice cream. Yum this was good. Then she realized he probably would want it back and she wasn’t sure she wanted to give it back so she moved a little further away. Come try to take it off of her even if it was his first. “Look up silly the tree you were under, seriously I did the same thing to you second term. Think you would be more aware of that by now.” She laughed some more.




Minerva made her way down to the lake. She was meeting the team, so she made sure to bring a basket of some snacks. Her last attempt to cook for them flopped, so maybe this time could be better. A basket on her arm filled with sandwiches, cookies, and pumpkin juice. She had her bag charmed so that it could hold as many blankets from the dorm as she could possibly fit in there and of course in her other hand she had a huge tub of ice cream, because it was ice cream and you ALWAYS needed ice cream.

Seeing Ella, Oakey, and Kaiden she smiled and skipped the rest of the way waving excitedly. “Hey guys, I have food, blankets, and of course ICE CREAM.” because she would never not have ice cream. NO NEVER.. and then she froze. Was that Wade in a Tiger outfit.. OMG.. That is the coolest thing ever” She went over and touched it, was it as soft as it looked. OMG IT WAS!!! She began petting him, “Nice Kitty.. Wade is a nice Kitty.” She continued petting and then started humming and then bounced a bit before singing and petting "Soft Kitty, Warm Kitty, Little Ball of Fur.. Happy Kitty.. Sleepy Kitty.. Purr.. Purr..Purr" She laughed and then went back to her bag pulling out the blankets from her bag a few Reese Cups packages fell to the ground, “Oh I have Reese Cups as well, those go great with the ice cream.” Sooooo blankets meant blanket fort, right? Now how would they ever make a blanket fort without chairs and tables. She bounced on her heels trying to figure this out. Looking back at Ella, ” SO CAPTAIN!!! What are we doing!” She kept her distance from Ella though knowing she wasn’t too happy with Min, but how couldn’t she be happy when everything was so happy and fun lately. There was never anything to be sad about NEVER.

“SOOOOOO Who wants ICE CREAM?”

Things Ella was learning about her team.

1. Oakey Gunter was out to kill her. Like, here she was just sitting on her blanket and nomming gummy worms when her neighbor came out of nowhere trying to knock her out with his bass. Not cool, Oakey Worm. The blonde's green eyes nearly bulged out of her head as the HEAD BOY, mind you, hid behind her. Yup, she'd be taking the hit if that thing didn't slow down which THANK MERLIN it did. =______= "Oakey Worm, you need to be more careful. I need my limbs for quidditching, y'know." HELLO. But the bright side was that they were going to have MUSIC for their gathering so she supposed he wasn't in too much trouble. BEAMS for you, Oakey Gunter. You go, Oakey Gunter!

2. Kaiden was out and about and less mopey which was great to see. Happy Captain was happy, okay? "Hey Kaiden!" BEAM. "Nothing much. Just figured we could all hang out." Oh and was he hungry? She held out the bag of gummy worms towards him with a smile. Go on, y'know you wanna.

3. Wade was a stunning tiger. Like, his hair just really set off his tiger outfit and he had the teeth for tigering, y'know. They were white and could even maybe rival Hulk's though she doubted Wade would go around biting people on the pitch. Maybe he could tiger roar at them instead? Hmmm? "Pickles!" Cause she'd noticed those too, FYI. "Do you think those would taste weird after eating gummy worms?" Cause she sort of wanted one now.

4. Minnie was CRAY. It was a happy kind of cray which was totally fine unless it involved her fooling around on the pitch which had been an issue lately. Ella wasn't okay with that sort of thing. Fooling around on the pitch equaled people getting hurt and that was a NO NO. She got smiles though, Minnie did. The girl had ICE CREAM so yeah, Ella was pleased. She also had an interesting song about Wade being a cat and the blonde fought the urge to say he was a tiger which was certainly bigger and more ferocious than the average house cat. "Hey Min!" Bounce. "I want ice cream and we're just hanging out?"
