I hope you're going to play again this term." And she attempted serious looks she'd been practicing though she probably just looked plain silly.
Oh and also...
"What are you getting? I'm starved but I can't make up my mind."
"Yeah?" Aw, she so was little nervous. "I'm sure you'll do great, you're already a natural Keeper." Letting his right foot rub the back of his left heel. "I'm alright, you had a nice summer?" He beamed back. "Definitely, I practiced with my Uncle and cousin, so I won't be rusty." Hopefully, heh.
Hmm? Oh, right the sweets. Heh."I usually get every-flavoured beans," Though, he knew not everyone enjoyed the bad flavors that it came with. He just simply loved food. MKAY? Yeah, anyone who protested against that will be in his list. Whatever his list was.
Anywhoo, he got in line while peeking at the stuff the food trolley offered. Oh. Candy. All candy. And sweet stuff. Maybe he should have packed over some chips or something. Doritos? Pringles? That sort of stuff.
While waiting for his turn, because apparently the line seemed longer than expected, he began to assess the rest of the crowd wanting to buy their own share of treats. And he spotted what seemed to be an impatient girl, who was just a person away from Zeke. Because that was what tapping the foot meant, right? Well, at least that's what it meant to Zeke because he ALWAYS does it when he's impatient or irritated or annoyed. The seventeen-year-old eyed the girl. She does seem like the impatient type. He could see her clearly...because this ickle kid in front of him was...well, ickle enough..
Minerva gave a quick smile to Kat as she walked by and thanked her, she would have to remember to catch up with Kat soon they hadn't talked in awhile and the look from Maxwell made her smile a little bit, at least she got under his skin as much as he got under hers. Yes that was at least something to be happy about.
Turning back to the cart and she decided she should probably try to figure out what she wanted.. Hmmm what to get, what to get. Minerva felt like she was being watched, rolling her eyes half expecting glares from Maxwell she turned and looked. Oh no it was another boy, maybe someone her age or a seventh year. She gave him a small smile. "Hello.. seems busy right now, doesn't it?"

"Yeah..." Ella said quietly, looking around before turning her attention back to the older badger. Her face brightened considerably at what he said next and her cheeks turned a bit pink. "Well thanks. You're pretty great at Quidditch too, y'know." And she was happy he was on her team and not someone else's. And then the blonde spotted Minnie mouthing words to her that made her smile. Ella grinned and waved back at the older badger, deciding she'd find her later to chat. Summer? The blonde tilted her head and smiled a little at Wade. "Yeah, summer was great. A little too long, though." And not just cause of Alec reasons. "Did you?" Though he said he'd been playing Quidditch which gave Ella the impression it was a good one. "I'm happy to hear it." Grin.
Every flavored beans made Ella smile for Bliss reasons and she nodded thoughtfully, considering the suggestion. "Have you ever gotten the earwax one? It's horrible." Ella scrunched her nose in disgust at the mere thought of it. She then watched curiously as the extremely tall boy then stood on his tiptoes and imitated him, as if it would help her see at all. Short Ella was incredibly short. "Sugar quills actually sound pretty brilliant." Really, she'd definitely grab a few of those. "Maybe a few jelly slugs too." She added as an after thought, tapping her finger on her chin.

Was that Ella.. blushing? Wade grinned, because that such a cute sight, and knowing that he caused that too. "Ah.." He nearly missed the compliment she gave him from that. Thanks.." he let his right hand rub the light springs in the back of his hair, unsure on how else to take that. It suddenly got a little warm in here, didn't it? Heh. He was definitely going give it his all to stay on her team now.
Curiously, Wade then saw her look in a different direction. Oh, did she see someone? He turned his head as well in the direction she was waving at. Was that Minnie there? Yeah, it was. So he smiled a bit in her direction too.. before Summer came up. "Yeah?" A little long? Hopefully that didn't mean some boredom, even though she claimed it was great. "So what did you do?" His curiosity was showing at that.
Earwax flavor? He sure did. Wade began to laugh a little at the face she had just made, but mainly on the memory of tasting it the first time. "Had a Earwax.. and Bogey a few times." His face turning somewhat serious. "I'll tell ya, the bogey makes even the Liver one taste like candy." Nasty stuff, but he loved the mystery of what the box could give. "But the amount of times I get the licorice, jam, and ice cream flavor sorta makes up for the worst ones."
Hm? Jelly Slugs? His brows furrowed a bit as he looked over to indeed find some crammed to the side. Okay, noted. His brows spaced out normally at the sight of her.. thinking? He smirked. "Want enough to stock up for the week, yeah?"

Umm...except now Lex had no idea what she was talking about.
She listened, trying to answer the girl's concerns. "Not starve, no, starving is what we do while we wait on the Headmistress' speech at the start and end of term; you know, the one we all pretend to listen to." There wasn't a soul at Hogwarts who could convince her that they actually listened."We'd just go through withdrawal, which as you said, is bad." Good she was getting it.
Just... "Er...we won't be going to Gringotts at all. Why would you think that--you don't have that scribbled in your notes do you??"
Ok THAT got her to giggle, about the Headmistress’ speech making them all go hungry—although she was quite distracted at her very first feast, what with the newness of it all and all those extra guests at Hogwarts. The last feast maybe-- then again they had ice cream in the end so it wasn’t so bad.
“I thought you said something about a withdrawal?” she replied all wide eyed at Lex, squeaked, then buried her face into her notebook “I got that wrong didn’t I?” Time to look up other meanings of withdrawal confused Claw.
And then the train started to slow down and the familiar scenery of Hogsmeade rolled into view “Oh we’re here.” she grinned.

That officially did it. Lex laughed, not completely all that loud that it would attract unnecessary attention but it was still very much a laugh. Aquila amused her, she amused her with just about everything she said. "No, wihdrawal, like...when you go too long without something you really can't do without. Candy for instance. I can go into sugar withdrawal." But heh, withdrawal, gringotts, she saw what she did there.
Snicker.
It was the slowing down of the train and the grinning girl that reminded her she left Lottie back in the compartment.
"Oh we are!! Remember everything I just told you, okay???" She grabbed a couple things, handed over her galleon then ran back, but not before waving and give her a big smile. Kinda made all moods happy.

As he noticed that the girl he was staring was looking back at him, Zeke was prepared to suddenly look away....but she talked to him. Err, at least she was nice? Maybe she's a Hufflepuff.
Smiling back, he said, "Yeah...guess there are a lot of people who crave for food now." Like him. Who didn't bring any food. To think that he should've learned his lesson. Zeke was one of those who were definitely wanting some snacks while waiting for the food to arrive at the feast...after the speech.
He should buy some extras now while he has the chance, Yup. That was what Ezekiel would do. He's a glutton.

Minerva couldn't help but chuckle, well of course they craved food, why else would they be standing around waiting on others to move for the food trolley. "Yeah I think your right." Most she was glad to see hanging around and now that the one she didn't want to see had left, Minerva could relax and stop tapping her foot. She wasn't feeling the annoyed stressed feeling she was feeling when Maxwell was near.
"So any favorites that you get each year?" She wasn't sure what she wanted yet, so why not ask others to see if anything sounded good. Looking back at the line, nope they weren't getting up there anytime soon, so she felt the need to keep talking, "I'm Minerva by the way, but most call me Minnie or Min." She at that moment wondered why she always introduced herself that way, maybe she should just say my name is Minnie, but whatever it's not that big of a deal. "Glad to be headed back to school?" Dumb question Min thought, most of the students probably are not as excited to jump into classes as you. Inner rolling her eyes at herself she waited for his answer.
So, Forrest was trying to see the contents of food trolley, but the TALL people in front of him blocked his vision. It made NO difference at all to get on his tiptoes too, so he gave up and fished some money out of his bag.
He could have passed all the train journey examining the shiny wizard coins (his mother had to hide them because he held them for a full day at home), had it not been for a TALL person behind him that might have adressed him.
He looked around to see a little guy, and when he failed to see one, he decided it was for him.
Yeah. "Hello." Neck all craned upwards to look at his face and see whether he was being silly for claiming that little guy.
Zeke couldn't help but chuckle silently to himself as the kid in front of him seemed to...doubt on whether or not the Gryffindor was actually talking to him. When he finally did realize that, he looked down and smiled again. Gee, since when did you become so friendly to little ones, Zeke? Wait, he wouldn't remember. Haha. Amnesia business.
It was just some urge inside him wanted to help the guy. But how? Ohyeah. He did notice the boy trying to become a giraffe a while ago in an attempt to see what they were selling in front. Of course, Zeke was no prefect, but who said you had to be one to help? "So what're you gonna get?" He casually asked as he ran his hand through his hair, and glanced by the trolley as he placed his hand back into the pocket of his pants. "I heard Chocolate Frogs are the best-sellers, considering you could collect trading cards out of them." Yeah he'd probably get one for himself. Not that he needed the cards. Some piece of chocolate just sounded real nice.
"There's also Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans...if you're into that kind of stuff. Because if it says every flavour, Bertie Bott means every flavour." With great emphasis on every flavour. Zeke was about to babble off every single candy...but he didn't think that the little tyke would be needing to hear that much. Only the necessary stuff. Recommend stuff to him, mister. "There's, erm," he squinted his eyes at the other stuff. "Sugar Quills, Jelly Slugs, Pepper Imps, Lemondrops, Licorice Wands, Pumpkin Pasties, Drooble's Best Blowing Gum, Cauldron Cakes, uhm. Yeah, I think that's about what I can see from here." Nod. Then a thought hit him. "Do any of these sound familiar to you at all?"
And another thought hit him. Where were his manners? "I'm Zeke, by the way, 7th year, Gryffindor," he looked back down as he changed his weight from one heel to another. "...you are?"

After helping the little kid whose name is still yet unknown to him, Zeke stood straight again and looked at the girl...I mean, Min. "Oh, well, erm. I think I'll get the usual Chocolate Frogs. And a bit of Cauldron Cakes." Though those Sugar Quills were starting to sound inviting. Maybe a little bit of that too? He'll decide later on when it was his turn on the line. Meanwhile, he smiled to himself as the line moved forward. Finally. He took a step forward, and stoooop. Okay. "Nice to meet you, Min." His right hand reached out across over the little boy's head in front of him to offer the girl a handshake. "I'm Zeke," he smiled and nodded.
Glad to be back to school? Err. "Not really," but he was glad to be on his last year of school...if that would answer her question better. Anyway he decided not to say that since he was quite unsure himself if spending his last year in Hogwarts would make him happy or sad. A mixture of both? "How 'bout you?"

The blonde just did not know how to take compliments. The badger smiled a little at the older boy as he then thanked her and shrugged. "Only telling the truth." So there was no need to thank her, yeah?
"Yeah." Nodnod. It had been long. And she'd missed her friends and her team and her boyfriend lots. "Oh well I actually worked at a zoo this summer." BEAM. "And Oakey is my neighbor so I saw him a lot. I saw Alec sometimes too." Not nearly enough, though. "What about you? I mean, besides Quidditching."
Ella smiled sheepishly as Wade started to laugh and she wrinkled her nose at the mention of bogey flavor. "I know! I've sort of stopped eating them since the encounter with the bogey flavor." Shudder. "Though sometimes if I'm feeling brave I'll have one...or like twenty." Grin. Wait, had Wade just said... "ICE CREAM!" Ahem. "I mean..that's my favorite flavor." Yup. Bounce!
The almost-sixteen year old nodded and tucked her hands in her pockets. "Yeah, I like to have a lot of candy around. Especially if I know I won't be out shopping for a while." And she stepped up in line, waiting for the person in front of her to finish so she could buy her sweets. "Are you stocking up too?"

And another thought hit him. Where were his manners? "I'm Zeke, by the way, 7th year, Gryffindor," he looked back down as he changed his weight from one heel to another. "...you are?"
Forrest had NO idea what kind of candy they had in there and frankly, he'd like a little bit of help (though he was SUSPICIOUS now because why would such an old male student want to help a firstie if he didn't--well, had some profit out of it) and he was going to listen to his advice alright--until he used the word.
WHAT was wrong with this wizarding population?! Why did an f-word had to come out EVERY TIME he talked to someone here?
As soon as the boy said chocolate FROG, the 'little guy' started to scratch his arms crazily as he tried his best not to cut him off. He didn't want him to think he wasn't very bright or anything--and he certainly didn't want him to know he had an issue with frogs!--so he did his best to listen to him and act as if he was just allergic to something.
Bertie's every something--he got to his tiptoes to see better while scratching CRAZILY (he was now scratching his neck too) and his distress could be read from his face. He bit his lip and dug his nails in his arms (this was the second time today and soon they'd be covered in nail scars) and smiled at the boy as normally as he could.
Did he know he intimidated him to no end, although he might be the nicest person on earth?
"Forrest," he said quickly, trying his BEST to forget about them, but the word kept ringing in his mind. And the worst thing? Zeke was a Gryffindor, and he'd probably think Forrest was a freak with all the scratching. Maybe examining the candies would help. He pursed his lips, pressed his nails inside his arms more hardly and went to the trolley at last. Luckily, it was their turn (well, HIS turn really. Zeke was behind him, but there was nothing he could do about it if he didn't wait for Forrest).
"I'll--" he racked his brains to remember a name of the candies he had just listed, but he could remember only the f and that didn't help at all. So, looking desperately at the candies there (if he asked Zeke, he'd think he didn't listen), he tried to choose one.
Minerva watched has the older boy helped a younger boy. That was very nice of him. Listening to him say what he was thinking about getting, oh cauldron cakes sounded kind of good, maybe she would take them back to Bay and Ethan. He nodded and smiled at Min. Blink. He was doing a lot of nodding and smiling today. Hmm. Must be the nerves of finally being a graduating student. Anyways, "They're really good." Another nod.
Well she seemed enthusiastic about. That was nice. Maybe she's a Ravenclaw after all? Guessing was hard, but one thing Zeke was COMPLETELY sure of: Min is NOT a Slytherin. Nope. Too nice to be one. Unless the inner snake lies within... (We're watching you Minnie.)
"Erm, 7th....final. Yeah," so you two won't be seeing next year anymore. It's kind of tough to meet people now and realize that it might be the last few months you could actually get to know them. Life will be life I guess. "You?"
AAAND, he couldn't resist the temptation to ask her. "Are you in Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw?" Or perhaps there's a Gryffindor hiding in there somewhere that's just not seen because of the current situation? "Oh, and you're up." At the line, I mean. Time to buy some candy. Zeke was...well after the little guy in front of him whose turn was up, too.

'Ohh. Cool, Forest. Maybe I should change my name someday into something like....errr. Woods. YEAH.'
"Nice name you got there," he ruffled the kid's hair. Which he wasn't sure if the ickle one appreciated. Apparently, the way the young blonde acted gave away that it was a firstie. A seemingly thin one. This guy needed to get some food in him. He was right to pick the food trolley. THUMBS UP, KID.
So yeah, back to food talk, "Have you ch-" Blink. What was he- Is that kid scrat- Blink. What. Is. Happening. No, it's rude to stare. Zeke tried to entertain himself by thinking of Evie. NO. That will not be helpful at all. Anyway, Forrest completely caught his attention no matter how much the Gryffindor tried to avert it to something else. He watched Forrest....scratch. Itch. This kid was on a one way ticket to joining Quidditch.
Sigh. Hey, the little kiddo talked again. "You'll....?" Yes go on.

Forrest squirmed under his hand--but being the intimidated kid that await some sort of bullying any time, he didn't try to escape in case that ticked the older boy off. He was too busy trying to control scratching anyway.
...
GOOD thing Zeke either didn't notice or decided to ignore. Maybe he even wanted to be done here as soon as possible and avoid him for the rest of his life. Forrest's heart sank at the thought. So far his weird scratching kid count stood at THREE, and it had barely been a few hours on the train.
"I'llgetasandwichthankyou." Thrusting FOUR galleons forward that was too much for a simple sandwich. Luckily, he'd forgotten about scratching for a change.
