Christmas made her way along to the food trolley as she was quite hungry as she didnt have much time to eat because she thought that she was going to be late and miss the train

Aquila made her way around sloooowly, eyes wide, taking in every detail of the train corridor. She has never been in a moving vehicle that had an engine-- or however mechanics it was that propelled a magical train.

She stopped short when she felt a sharp tug-- the corner of food trolley caught her dress. “Oh...” she murmured softly as she attempted to free her dress, but then her gaze fell on the colorful sweets that crowded every inch of the trolley. “Oh!”

No her candy bag wasn't empty yet but that didn't mean she wasn't going to buy more. The way she saw it, once they got to school she needed to ensure she had enough candy to last until the Hogsmeade weekend. If she didn't get more to refill what she'd been nomming on since the start of the journey then her bag might have run dry and she would have been doomed.

Was no one else seeing how terrible that would have been??? No?? Was it just her????

She approached the trolley in time to see the look of intrigue on a familiar Ravenclaw's face. "Aquila! Hai!!!" BEAM. She had mistaken the look on the girl's face for candy enthusiasm and she approved. "Come to stock up on candy while you can? Or just a snack??" It was candy wasn't it?

She understood. It was hard to stay away from the stuff.

There were so many STUFF. Aquila wasn’t even sure what they were until the familiar crazy Gryffindor gal came up “Oh haii--” ice cream? No that’s not her name “Alexa!” *BEAMS*

Her gaze returned to the trolley and gasped again. These are snacks? They looked more to her like ornaments for a festival than mere sweets. BUT Lex seemed awfully excited about it, and if there was anything she learned from the Hogwarts ice cream ‘tradition’ from last term, is that Lex being excited!happy about it is a GOOD thing

“Oh!... Uhm—okay!” she smiled at her fellow 3rd year. “Stock up on candy yes.” she bobbed her head excitedly then slowed down “Uhm.... why are we stocking up on candy Lex?” Was it for another awesome Hogwarts tradition she didn’t know about?

See that right there? It was even more enthusiasm the girl was showing. Might have been in the middle of a sugar rush too for all Lex knew! The idea of this got Lex grinning. She liked this girl. She was always so free spirited about stuff--just look at the ice-cream thing! The girl had added to the epic-ness and had Lex laughing so hard it should have been criminal.

Aquila was good people--

GASP!

Good people who didn't know the basic rule of candy at Hogwarts!! This simply wouldn't do. Absolutely not. Nope. She cleared her throat; a clear indication that she was about to explain.

"Just picture this for a second. It's sometime after say...mid-October and you've just had dinner. You go into your candy bag but see, there's NONE because you didn't buy enough to last and you're not due to go to Hogsmeade for like a LONG time!!!" The thought almost had her squeaking. "It's the worst thing that could happen, ugh, not to mention the withdrawal afterwards. Bad. Very bad. So to avoid that, you buy tons more while on the train and hope you have enough moderation in you to not completely devour the stash on the first night." Nod.

Why wasn't she taking this all down???

Oh clearing of throat, this sounds important.....

It is very important!

Of course this was Aquila not considering that Hogwarts has a fully stocked kitchen and fantastic elves to feed them when they get hungry. NO—this was her believing Lex that they will STARVE if she doesn’t stock up on food. Or rather candy. Food and candy being interchangeable in her head apparently.

“Oh! Oh! Stock up on candy yes we must!” she breathed as she scribbled madly into her little notebook. “Withdrawals are bad--” she was mumbling!writing when she suddenly looked up “Uhm... Lex, I thought we’re going to starve without candy, and... and we must save up on candy and and.... why are we going to Gringotts?” she was doing that squirmy, confused face whenever she has to count MONEY. Money confuses poor Aquila.

Lex beamed when she saw the girl frantically taking notes. It was this kind of stuff that happened to be the difference between life and death! That being the case, Aquila would survive because she was taking Lex's advice seriously and having it scribbled so she could revise later on. Smart girl. She earned her keep in Ravenclaw.

Umm...except now Lex had no idea what she was talking about.

She listened, trying to answer the girl's concerns. "Not starve, no, starving is what we do while we wait on the Headmistress' speech at the start and end of term; you know, the one we all pretend to listen to." There wasn't a soul at Hogwarts who could convince her that they actually listened. "We'd just go through withdrawal, which as you said, is bad." Good she was getting it.

Just... "Er...we won't be going to Gringotts at all. Why would you think that--you don't have that scribbled in your notes do you??"

Food?

The soon-to-be 16 year old shifted from one foot to the other as she waited in line for said food. Sweets if one wanted specifics but Ella was pretty sure no one was particularly interested in her or her preferences at the moment. Just as well seeing as the blonde had no idea what she wanted to buy and was slowly making her way to the front of the line. Meep.

Chocolate frogs?

Eh. She sort of felt bad eating those now for Bluetiful reasons so maybe she'd settle on something a little more animal friendly.

Well, it wasn't that Wade was starved that sent him to that Trolley cart. But well, there were some sweets and treats that he was craving. First in mind was the Bertie Bott's beans.. after the first people in front of him of course.

Though this girl looked familar.. It wasn't until he caught a glimpse of something shiny, that he grew a smirk. "Ella! Or, should I say Captain Ella. How are you?" Yep, he found her. "Heard from Ness and Oakey that you got it." A solid choice, he thought.

Captain Ella?

Blink. Yeah, she definitely wasn't used to hearing that. The blonde turned around and smiled at the older boy whom she immediately recognized as one of her awesome teammates. "Hey Wade!" BEAM. "I'm pretty good...a little nervous about the whole captaining thing but yeah, good." Shuffle. And Ness and Oakey were spreading the word, then? Hmm. "Anyways, how are you? I hope you're going to play again this term." And she attempted serious looks she'd been practicing though she probably just looked plain silly.

Oh and also...

"What are you getting? I'm starved but I can't make up my mind."

So how could someone survive a train ride without something to eat? It wasn't that Kat was hungry and stuff, but it would keep her busy. Besides, she was considering in getting a bunch of them so she could share with her fellow student leaders at their compartment. Or maybe she could give a few to Elise, who she kind of left patrolling along the corridor. She'll make it up to her bestie by bringing some FOOD.

When she arrived, all she did for a moment was look at the delicious things she could eat. Kat didn't know what to eat so she spent a few second blinking and surveying which ones she would buy. She had the money, but she did not know what to spend it on.

Gosh this was, like, one of the most hardest decisions to make in life.

Max felt his stomach grumble and knew he HAD to find food..he'd been like this all summer, which made his road trip go by slowly..stopping for food A LOT. But he was a growing boy, by 16 he was already a good sex feet tall. He decided to search out some snacks, Tiberius his (Rather fat) Orange Cat following behind him.

He walked up and stood in line behind some blonde..he wasn't impatient...well he wasn't feeling like it today, lucky for her. In fact he was in a rather good mood. "You can never go wrong with a Chocolate Frog and some Every Flavor Beans.." He offered, noting that the girl seemed like she couldn't make up her mind. "I'm Max.."

Maybe she should take a few licorice wands or some cauldron cakes, which was her favourite treat. But she decided she could try something else out. Kat was sort of an experimental girl, but she liked to stick to her favourites as well. How about mixing both of those? It sure would be a good mixture of treats, eh? It wouldn't hurt to try.

And then someone had started talking to her, catching the blonde's attention. Kat turned to her side and saw... someone she did not know. By the looks of it, he seemed to be around her age. That was weird, though, not knowing people in her year. She thought she knew everyone, but guess she was mistaken. "Yeah, I was going to try out some chocolate frogs," Kat admitted. She liked them, although it might not be sight-friendly to her toad, Bob. And then the introduction. "I'm Katrina. Nice to meet you, Max." Sort of, but Kat would like to know more of her fellow year mates.

Max smiled at the girl, Katrina. His smile as charming as ever. "The pleasure's all mine, Katrina." His American accent making him stick out like a sore thumb, he looked down to see his Cat rubbing up against one of her legs and he eyed him. "Tiberius! Sorry about him, he's a little overly-friendly.." He laughed a little and bent down to pick the cat up.

"You're a prefect?" He asked, he didn't know all the prefects, but they also seemed to be from different houses.. "Looking forward to getting back then?" He assumed at the prefects liked school and junk? He wasn't typically a big fan of prefects, or rules or authority but maybe she'd be one of the good ones?

... Was she supposed to smile too? Anyway, Kat returned the boy's smile. However, she did not know if this was awkward or just normal. She decided to stick to the positive side, and go for just normal. It made her relax a bit on the insides, which was definitely a good thing. The pleasure was all his? Okay then. It's normal for a guy to be all that with a pretty girl. Ahem. Then the next thing she knew it, something was rubbing itself on her leg. Kat flinched a bit before looking down to whatever did it to her, and saw a cat? Or was that a kneazle. She was not sure. "Nah," Kat said while shaking her head and managing a tiny smile. "It's okay. I've experienced this before with my older sister's kneazle. No biggy." All good.

Oh... right. "Yeah I am, although I'm still in denial about it," Kat said, although it was a bit strange admitting it. "Not exactly excited. I'm okay with it, I guess." She wasn't ready to be this responsible yet, but she'd do her best no doubt.

Max laughed a little. "Okay, He's very friendly though.." He held his fat cat in his hands, stroking his orange fur, putting him down after a few minutes..He wasn't sure what he was going to get either.. he smirked a little. "Not excited about it? Why more of a rule breaker?" He was amused, someone who didn't WANT to be a prefect.

He looked over at the food trolley, unsure what HE wanted..

Minerva had wondered off from her compartment leaving Fluffy to sit in the corner a bit, yes the fluff ball needed to be in timeout. She decided it was time to make a stop at the food trolley, she could pick up a few things for Bay and Ethan when he came back to the compartment after doing more of his rounds or whatever it was he was doing.

As she approached the trolley she noticed others, Ella was there.. Waving towards her friend she mouthed, "Congrats Captain", but didn't want to interrupt, she would speak to her little badger later. Right now she was talking with Wade, wave for Wade as well. Then there was Kat, oh she had a badge as well. That was awesome waving towards her she mouthed, "Congrats" all these congrats in one little area this was nice, but the nice stopped when she saw who Kat was talking with. Oh Maxwell, but I thought you didn't have time for Prefects..Such lies you like to tell.. GLARE.. he only got a glare.

Turning quickly before another set of words started towards him she looked at the food trolley, now what did she want. She wanted something. Maybe some chocolate frogs, glancing back towards Maxwell, yes chocolate was needed. Trying to wait her turn without making a run for her, she tapped her foot a bit and tried focusing on others in the food trolley area.

Well, of course the Slytherin Prefect could see that Max's cat posed no harm. If it did try sinking its teeth on her leg, she would kicked it out of an open window. That's for sure, but apparently she didn't want to make a bad impression to anyone at this early time of term. "I'm no rule breaker, no," Kat shook her head. He must've been mistakened. "I just don't... believe it. Out of all the possible Slytherins who could've gotten this badge, I did. It's a lot to process in just a day." Honestly, she was in shock and, again, denial.

Kat grabbed a few chocolate frogs and cauldron cakes... and a box of Bertie Bott's beans. Did that seem too much? Not exactly. She wasn't going to feed a town, just share treats with her bestie. Was that enough though? Hmm. Maybe she'll save a chocolate frog or two for the feast while waiting for the Headmistress to deliver her speech. Sounds like a good plan, eh?

And then another person caught her. Kat smiled and gave a polite nod to Minerva as she passed by. "Thanks," she said to the Hufflepuff.

So, after meeting AMAZING people and washing his face in the toilet to get rid of those sticky tears, Forrest found himself alone again, and hungry for a change (people tended to think he didn't eat, judging by his ill-thin figure but he could sometimes get hungry too). Amazing people had friends, after all, and he had to find where food was on his own. Luckily, it wasn't his tenth step even when he found FOOD and he smiled to himself as he made his way towards it, and got in the line.

Max nodded a little. "I guess i get that..." He didn't like rule pushers, hopefully she wasn't one. But he didn't know her so she got a chance, Oakey was a prefect and Max liked him...Selina was Head Girl and She and Max were friends as well, so he just didn't like the more...stiff prefects.

He got a chocolate frog for himself and some butterscotch for the napping Elliot Morganzo. He turned to notice he was being eyed by that stupid puffer-ex girlfriend of his, and he glared at her as if to tell her to shove off. Turning away from the Trolley he smiled a little at Katrina, in a merely friendly way. "It was nice to meet you, but i should probably get back to my girlfriend. I've been out of our compartment for a while."

Amnesia or not, Zeke still has not let go nor forgotten his love of food. The second he found an empty compartment and made himself comfy in his seat, the Gryffindor's mind immediately decided that he wanted to eat. Not that he was fat or anything. He just simply loved food. MKAY? Yeah, anyone who protested against that will be in his list. Whatever his list was.

Anywhoo, he got in line while peeking at the stuff the food trolley offered. Oh. Candy. All candy. And sweet stuff. Maybe he should have packed over some chips or something. Doritos? Pringles? That sort of stuff.

While waiting for his turn, because apparently the line seemed longer than expected, he began to assess the rest of the crowd wanting to buy their own share of treats. And he spotted what seemed to be an impatient girl, who was just a person away from Zeke. Because that was what tapping the foot meant, right? Well, at least that's what it meant to Zeke because he ALWAYS does it when he's impatient or irritated or annoyed. The seventeen-year-old eyed the girl. She does seem like the impatient type. He could see her clearly...because this ickle kid in front of him was...well, ickle enough.

With eyes wandering again, Zeke's icy blue eyes laid upon the ickle boy in front of him. Now he couldn't remember when he was THAT small. Not that he had any memories to remind him of it anyway. Nor did he have pictures. Haha, losing your memory is so great...NOT.

"Hey little guy," did little kids appreciate people calling them little? No? Anyway.

GRUUUUUUUUUMBLE. GRUMBLE. GRUMBLE. GRUMBLE.

The eleven year old whistled and let her eyes roam around inconspicuously as she IGNORED the voices her tummy was currently making to inform her that it was empty. Not that her tummy was making it any easier. Really, she could TELL that it was empty without the audio reminder.

So the girl stood in line, waiting for the crowd to clear so that she could get herself something to eat from the food trolley.

But this was taking forever. She should have let her mother pack those sandwiches for her. Even though they turned into a ball of goo after a while.

OH LOOOOOK! ANOTHER FIRSTIE!

She hadn't noticed he was standing right in front of her. "HELLLLLO!"

Kat wasn't the only one who didn't seemed to be ready for this then, huh? That wasn't a surprise. Nessie was feeling the same way like her now, and believe it when the Slytherin Prefect said she could tell by the look of the redhead's face. "It might be different for others, I say," Kat added because she knew some people would die if they found out they got a badge. Like, have a heart attack and be in disbelief and that kind of stuff.

Paying for the food she bought, Kat shoved some of them inside her pocked while she bit onto a cauldron cake she bought. Mmm... tasted like cloud nine. "Yeah," Kat said somehow dismissively, indicating that he could leave already. "I have to get back to patrollingnthe corridors. It was nice meeting you too, for the record." Then off she went to catch up with Elise and to probably apologise for ditching her for the food trolley.

So, Forrest was trying to see the contents of food trolley, but the TALL people in front of him blocked his vision. It made NO difference at all to get on his tiptoes too, so he gave up and fished some money out of his bag.

He could have passed all the train journey examining the shiny wizard coins (his mother had to hide them because he held them for a full day at home), had it not been for a TALL person behind him that might have adressed him.

He looked around to see a little guy, and when he failed to see one, he decided it was for him.

Yeah. "Hello." Neck all craned upwards to look at his face and see whether he was being silly for claiming that little guy.



And now it was candy time. This time it was a little more empty 'round the food trolley and he was relieved to take his time to pick candy--until a girl adressed him. He groaned inwardly. Not a older student again, hopefully? They intimidated him to no end. He turned around to look at her.

Finally, she was around his age!

"Hello!" he greeted back, smiling shyly nevertheless because he was never comfortable with strangers.
