He just let her clutch at him and cry her heart out; crying would make her feel a bit better. Jory didn't say anything. He just held her and let her cry while he just stared at the little bundle. He had grown quite fond of the cat. Oliver had been just about everywhere with them. The Train, The Lake and even here at the Pond. He had been there when Jory & Ronnie became a couple. Poor Oliver. |

After a while, she sat up, holding Jory's hand in hers. It was time to bury him. With her free hand, she picked up the little shovel once more and began digging into the ground. |

Jory kept a hold of Ronnie's hand as she began to dig. "Do you want me to do that?'' he asked. |

"Bye, Oliver,'' the Puffer said quietly as he was set down into the ground. He helped by covering up the hole. He hugged Ronnie back. "Come on, let's get out of the cold.'' If she wanted to talk that was alright with him. He'd do anything to help her feel better. |

"I don't know,'' Jory replied as they stood up. "Anywhere would be okay.'' Getting her away from here would be good. "Any ideas?'' |

The Puffer held out his hand for Ronnie. "Is that alright with you?'' he asked, desperate to get her mind off of Oliver. |
Sorry it took so long :'( Quote:
Somehow she had a feeling that it was the other girl's favourite colour Looking over at the duck they'd found before she tried slowly creeping up behind the duck, stifling her giggles as she nodded at the other Slytherin, taking a few more careful steps forward, trying not to alert the duck to the fact that she was right behind it. |
for Daichi & Minnie ^^ The castle just could NOT contain Airey's energy today, which is why he was out on the grounds for a brisk walk with Pebbles clunking behind him. She really enjoyed tromping around in the snow. Airey had waterproofed his suit so that it would not get damaged from the wintery conditions, so he had nothing to fear at the moment. No worries, just a carefree afternoon stroll through the grounds. Finding himself a the duck pond, he began to man!skip!walk while singing a song. "A duck walked up to a lemonade stand and he said to the man running the stand Hey. got any grapes?" He continued to sing while he walked around the perimeter, completely unaware of the two students hiding and ready to pelt any passerbyer with snowballs. "Then he waddled away. He waddled away. He waddled away. Till the very next day." And he sang these last bits complete with man!waddling. Had to act out all the songs after all. |
Quote:
"Duck daddy?" he repeated in a giggle. "I heard people call me Duck Boy but never that before~" and if he had a duck names Si? The Slytherin looked around in thought. "I don't think so , wait" he searched the duck pond again and his eyes fell on a brown duck. "We can name that one Si! i like that name~ and we should name that one" his finger went to another brown duck. "Si as well! so that they are Si-Si like that muggle drink!" ......ASKLSGHGHAJLGR! SHE DID NOT JUST TOUCH HIS HEAD! Daichi pouted when the hufflepuff did. "Please don't touch my head, i don't like it when people do that" he said and tried to style his hair AGAIN! He then brought his spoon in the ice cream and took a bite. Quote:
Completely forgetting he was a Prefect, the Slytherin stooped down and grabbed a hand ful of snow. It felt ice cold against his bare hands and he wished he had taken his gloves with him. Eyes still trained on the now waddling man. O__o he stood up from the bench and with the swiftness of an ex-quidditch chaser he threw the snowball in the direction of the back of his head. He then sat down quickly next to Minerva and muttered "Pretend to talk!" |
Blisssss! Once he had put his jacket on, it was actually quite a nice day for Theo to appreciate. It was... springy. It was spring, right? Theo took a stroll through the grounds today, but there wasn't too many people about actually. He wondered where his friends were, cos he kinda wanted to hang out with them. Not for any reason in particular, he just missed them. Too much of the girlfriend probably. Not that he was complaining about THAT. He stopped off at the duck pond and sat by the edge, but not TOO close to the edge. He didn't wanna fall in of course, because this Slytherin could NOT swim. He smiled at a duck that was making it's way towards him, but when it got too close, Theo jumped up to his feet and backed away. Ain't nobody got time for that. |
SPOILER!!: Flamsteed/Daichi Pretend to talk??? Why would she pretend to talk.. This girl could talk and talk she would. Laughing she scanned the area, oh were they going to hit Ronnie and Jory that could be fun. Then her blue eyes fell on Flamsteed. Daichi wasn’t thinking.. Oh big smile crossing her face she looked to he pond. “So Si Si it is.. Cute names for the ducks honestly. All you need is a nice duck house for your duck dynasty and Duck Daddy and have it all.” Chuckling she took another bite of ice cream. When was this going to happen, she bounced with excitement. Snowball Ninja’s in action. She watched Daichi sitting next to her the excitement getting to her. She felt like she could jump out of her skin. She wanted to yell FIRE so Daichi would bomb him with the snow, but she just sat trying to be the normal looking distraction. [b] “So spring is almost here, guess the ducks will love that. Wonder if their feet get cold like this? Maybe we should get them ducky shoes. Her words left her as she glanced again at Flamsteed, was he waddling?? Lord the man was interesting even this Minerva noticed that. She fought and fought hard to jump up and waddle next to him just for the fun of it, but no they were on a mission they were the Snowball Ninja’s… She held snow in her hand feeling her skin getting colder. [b] “So Daichi this ice cream was such a brilliant idea. We might even need to get more.” Was this enough talking she wondered. |
The weather wasn't all that bad today which made going for a walk along the grounds so much nicer. The cold didn't bother her two much, she was usually moving quickly and generating her own heat, but things were more slippery and falling hurt more so the good weather when appreciated when it was seen. On a day like this she figured she'd go watch the duckies!!! Maybe they'd want ice-cream too? The creatures in the forest seemed to like it a lot so she trudged her way there with a nice bowl in hand. Felix was left back in her Common Room because ducks and Kneazles weren't friends, or maybe they were but not her kneazle. Nope. She wasn't that naive. Lex plopped down by the edge of the pond and grinned at the ducks. "Hello Lovelies! Would any of you like some ice-cream???" She extended the bowl, trying to see if she had any takers. |
SPOILER!!: Alexa :D! Kace decided to go and explore the duck pond. He never been this way before. Once his mind was wandering, his feet dragged him to places he never been to before. Maybe he should be more alert to his surrounding? N'ahhh he had quidditch for that. Once he got to the duck pond, he noticed a Gryffindor near the pond. Kace chuckled and wanted to intervene. "I do not think the ducks like Ice cream, here you might wanna try this...." he said finding some seeds and corn on the ground. He threw it to them and they gratefully took them. |
Arithmancy Post 1 Ella was golden ratio hunting, whatever that meant. Yup, she had her notebook and a pencil and a ruler as well. She even had a magnifying glass because little things could represent the golden ration too, y'know. Plus she liked to consider herself the resident Nancy Drew so she'd clearly have one in her possession. Clearly. The blonde settled down by the duck pond, absently on the lookout for Martin, her favorite little duck. She was sort of puzzled about where she should start on this project but she was on the lookout while she enjoyed the nice weather and the pond. Multitasking for the win! Hum. Hum. Hummmmmmm. Oh! An ant. Ella had spotted the movement out of the corner of her eye and she got curious. The Golden Ratio was often found in nature, yeah? Yeah. Grin. The blonde held up her magnifying glass and eyed the little thing with interest, deciding it'd be easier to test her theory if she made him bigger. "Engorgio!" She only increased his size enough to measure him without much difficult and sure enough, the ratios seemed to fit. Huh. That was interesting! Scribble. Scribble. Scribble. SPOILER!!: Arithmancy Notes When she was finished with her notes, Ella shrunk the ant back down to size and packed up her things, continuing her search. |

Finally the footsteps got a voice. A Familiar one. Like really familiar. The kind of familiar where you'd heard it shouting just above your head while trying to catch the quaffle on the pitch, mid-game. She watched curiously as the First Year fed the ducks seeds and the like. Those didn't look all that appetizing. "Well that's because they've never tried it before. I bet if they took a taste they'd love it--it's chocolate so that makes it super good." Yup, this was legit. She looked him over. "You weren't playing in that game I commentated, how come?" Just a curious question because she noticed. |
Quote:
Then she asked about the previous game. Kace shrugged and said, "Oh well... i volunteered but the captain had the team all set up, but it is fine. I did want the other players to have a chance. I played in the first game though so i got the experience." He wasn't that upset about it. He was even glad his team won as a matter of fact. "I also heard your commentating at the match while i was in the stands, you were great! I did love your enthusiasm." he smiled to her. |
Post 1 Arithmancy homework! Alice still had hers to do, so she wandered down to the duck pond after dinner and searched for some conch shells in the muck. The golden ratio was definitely present in that, she knew, but not where. Maybe once she actually found the shells, she'd remember. The fifth year began digging around in an area closer to the water, and when she finally stumbled upon a shell. It didn't have spirals, though, so she kept looking until she found one that was exactly how she needed. It took a while, but after going over her textbook and what phi meant again, she formed a valid explanation. Actually, you know what? She would measure the spirals, too, just to make sure. And they were proportional yay first item done. Text Cut: Parchment Now.. library next, yeah? |
Quote:
"And that's good! Glad to hear that!" Er....maybe she should explain that a bit more...she didn't want him thinking she thought it was good he didn't get to play. That wasn't what she meant. "When I didn't see you on the pitch I thought you might have broken some part of you. Glad you're fine though." And she offered him a grin. Eeeep! He'd heard her commentating. The Professor did say she'd be heard by everyone!!!!! "Gee thanks! I'm glad you liked it. The mic was fun, the Snake I was sharing with...not so much." BEAM. |
Quote:
Oh? That is why she asked why he didn't get to play...it made sense! "Oh no no no i am fine! I am a cautious player and sometimes i hurt other players in the process of being agressive on the field. Plus i volunteered to play and the team already had enough players. No biggie." It may not seem true since he seemed all cute and innocent but ask some of his friends. They will tell you different. He was an agressive player. When she mentioned the commentating, Kace beamed at her. "Of course and i will say i favored your commentary over the Snake. She seems mean and cruel. Actually my sister Belle warned me to stay away from her truth be told..." he said to her making sure the Snake wasn't around. |
Quote:
"Oh?" Her face held an amused grin. He probably wasn't even 5" tall as yet and he was shaping out to be an aggressive player. She should have noticed in that game she was playing in but when on the Pitch the only thing she ever really saw was the quaffle--oh, she saw the hoops too and the idiot trying to block them...but not real idiots because she liked all the keepers. "Maybe you should have tried for beater? Might have suited you better aaaaand should I be worried about you on the pitch?" She asked, giving him a wink. "Oooohhhhhh? REALLY?? Thanks!!! I must say I liked me better with the mic too." GRIN. It had been her precious. "I don't know if she's got the brains to be cruel but I guess if Belle says so you can take her word for it." Yes. Him. She still wouldn't believe it. She didn't have that much confidence in the girl to. And who was he looking for? |
Quote:
"I should have tried out for beater...but you know i wanted more action and i thought the chaser would have but now i have come to notice all the players get the action, so i should have. Good suggestion Alexa." he smiled towards her. She seemed like a nice girl and he was starting to like her. "N'awww you shouldn't be THAT afraid of me on the field. I am not even 5 foot tall yet, i am not even a threat yet. I am more like....a tiny terror balled up in a cute shell of Kaceness." he said with squinted eye and raised eyebrow. Yeah he made it up so what? Kace was glad to give Alexa some compliments since she gave him some. "Yeah you need to do it more often. I always have more fun when you do it!" He was honest about that. She seemed to capture the excitement and enthusiasm the fans had in the stands "I will take Belle's word for it and not cross her path. I heard it is not a fun place to be in her range of fire." Then Kace saw a duck wanting more food. Kace littered some onto the ground and the duck was eating it. He smiled and was glad he made it outside today. He was helping a duck out while making a new friend. |
DADA Physical Exercise||with Dora Cassia was so excited about this climbing the trees she and Dora decided to do. So she got dressed accordingly and headed out to the grounds. They were going to meet by the duck pond. Lots of trees there. Actually there were trees like everywhere on the grounds so it wasn't a problem. Also, the snake didn't head out walking, pfffft not. She jogged there. Mhhmm. She was so taken with this idea. Jogging was fun also. Once there, the fourth-year dropped her bag to the ground near a tree that looked easy to climb then started jogging around it. Dora wasn't here yet. It probably took more time from the towers. Though it wasn't that close from the dungeons either and she had came jogging so she thought to stop jogging. Because she was already panting. Better save her strength for the tree climbing. Meanwhile she'll just watch the ducks. |
