omg Jory T____T poor teenage boy *pets him* Quote:
Alright kid, we'll cut you some slack. Especially since the boy went the total opposite direction of what he wanted. "Yes, that and one of your umbrella flowers." Small pause. "Actually, make that two umbrella flowers." He would give one of them to someone else. Or keep it in the home. |

But on to the sale because that's what had drawn him here in the first place! Ooooo he wanted the Umbrella flower!!!! The most expensive! Goody! "An excellent choice Mr. Leprechaun!!! Just give me one minute!" She grinned, taking the galleons then adding some extra fertilizer to the plant's soil before handing it over. This was in case Tag didn't have any. It'd give him some time before he had to go finding some. "Here you go. Don't forget to show it of!!" Quote:
He would do both! Excellent and he earned himself a GRIN. She watched him curiously while he made his choice. Really she was hoping he would be like Tag and buy the most expensive as well but seeing as he was willing to donate, it wasn't as necessary for him, you know? Ah but he did choose the most expensive!!! "That'll be two galleons!" She said before adding just a bit of extra fertilizer to this one as well and having it prepared for him. Being the curious person she was, she wanted to ask how much he'd be donating but that would have been a bit much, wouldn't it? |

SPOILER!!: Lex Excellent. The one she picked looked awesome. He was in a buying mood and the only way to make it go away was buy stuff. Plus he knew the perfect place to put this plant. Who he was going to call Geronimo, of course. "Awesome. Here is the two galleons and can you hold it for another couple seconds. While i donate" Nigel handed her the two galleons and did not wait for an answer. He did not care if she followed along to see how much he donated. He walked over to Bentley and the donation tin. "Hello, Professor Bentley." It was impolite at a fundraiser to not at least greet the person you were donating to. Once he finished greeting her. Nigel dropped 4 galleons into the tin. He was not the biggest fan of Herbology. But he like Professor Bentley. Okay. Now he was ready to send his plant to his house, go over to the food table, and walk over to Truebridge and donate there as well. |
Asher ambled over to the vibrant stall. He stared with a blank look on his face as he fiddled with the locket around his neck. He really wasn't sure why he was attracted to the stall, but here must be some reason and he needed to find out. 'Maybe if I purchase one,' he thought to himself. After several more minutes, he finally cleared his throat and mumbled "Something in an orange, please." |
SPOILER!!: Alex/Aron Jory breathed in relief! Finally! Progress. To avoid any future situations like this, he would have to brush up on his Herbology. Though, in his defense, this guys was older and seemed to be the Master of Herbology. "That'll be four galleons and fifteen sickles,'' the Puff said, feeling slightly more cheerful. Hey, he was a Puffer and they were always cheerful. Well, mostly. Jory checked the Puffapods and Umbrella Flowers to make sure they were in perfect health before placing the pots in a small crate. "Here you go, Sir. Thank you for your support and do give a donation towards Hogwarts!'' Grin. All that had to be done now was to collect the money. SPOILER!!: Sapphira Puddifoot Umbrella flowers! "Good choice, Ma'am,'' Jory said with a nod. "But er, they're actually two Galleons a piece.'' He glanced back at the price list, just to make sure. That would be forty galleons, then. He wondered how the woman arrived at ten Galleons. And the Honking Daffodils. "They're young, yes but they would probably be honking a few days time.'' Jory waited patiently for the woman to process the information and decide on her purchase. His eyes wandered over to the others. Alexa seemed to be making much progress. |
Seeing that Jory was working with another customer, she gave him a small nod and stood off to the side to wait. Once the customer was off with his plants, she made her way over. "Hello there," she said, smiling at him. She then set a little bag of sweets in front of him. In the bag were chocoballs, licorice wands, chocolate frogs, and a sugar quill. "I got these for you." she told him, beaming. She had been wandering about Honeydukes and couldn't help but get him a few things. Now to buy some plants. She looked around at all the plants and then up at the price list. "Let's see here..." she muttered to herself, looking at an umbrella flower. Her mum would definitely like those, she just loved plants! "I'll take two umbrella flowers and..." she glanced at all the others. "A honking daffodil and a Fanged Geranium." she finished with a firm nod. She then began to dig in her pockets to get her money while Jory calculated the cost. |
Peeves hasn't let me near this thread in a while *sad face* Quote:
"Hi." West greeted cheerfully. "How bout some puffapod flowers, they normally just come in pink but we've got some in orange. They're only 15 sickles each, maybe I could interest you in a pair of them so they don't get lonely? Puffapods need love after all." |
Quote:
"That's a lot!'' the Puffer couldn't help saying. He guessed they had to be for her family. "Two umbrella flowers, a honking daffodil and a Fanged Geranium,'' he muttered to memorize them. "I'll be right back.'' Jory collected the plants Ronnie had selected and brought them over to her, packed in a small crate like the one he had given the customer before. "Here ya go, Rons. That'll be... six galleons, eight sickles.'' |
Quote:
She beamed at how happy he was for the candy. Oh Merlin, it was so worth buying all that candy for Jory to see that brilliant smile of his. "You're very welcome, my Jory-Bear!" She replied. He deserved a little something for helping out with the plant sale. It was nice of him to be doing this. Chuckling, she nodded. "Yeahh. I gotta get some gifts for the family and I wanna donate as much as I can to Hogwarts." she explained, watching as he went to get her her plants. "Thank you, kind sir!" she exclaimed as she dug in her pocket for her coins. She then set down six galleons and eight sickles exactly. "There you are!" she said. NOW GIMME ZE PLANTS. |
Quote:
"It's a good idea,'' he added, nodding. Jory especially like the umbrella flowers. He collected the money and handed over the crate. And speaking of donating. "Go say hi to our Professor, Rons. And you can donate some more.'' Grin. "And thank ya, once more!'' |
Quote:
Anyways. Back to the plants. Ronnie nodded in agreement. "Sure is! Have you guys had many customers?" she asked hopefully, glancing around herself. There were a few people buying here and there, but not many. She hoped more would come soon. "Thank you," she said as she took the crate. Nodding, she gave him a quick kiss goodbye. "I was planning on heading over there right after this." she told him. She really wished she could stick around... but she had to donate the rest of her money at some point, and Jory had customers to tend to. "See ya!" she waved and walked off to find the donation spot. |

Just being the good customer and being concerned about where his galleons were going. Ahem. |

Sarah watched as the customer picked up the plant, "it is very easy to maintain. It has to be watered of course, yet other then that all it needs to be is occasionally trimmed. Oh and it grows best indoors, which brings me to another thing - it grows pretty big so it needs space". What else... oh yeah fertilizing. It was not a self fertilizer. "Once a month it should be fertilized, and one can use dragon or hippogriff dung to do that". That was probably a lot for the lady to take in, yet Sarah had thought of it before hand. "If you want, I can give you a paper with all the information of its maintenance on it" Sarah had done that the night before, and she had added a few tips. Another charming smile, Sarah hoped the lady would buy it. |
She ought to have listened to that voice in her head that told her not to wear heels. She did not, of course, and was sporting a pair of brightly coloured red heels as she Leaning over a bit to look at what there was, Maisie's eye sparkled when she saw the pink puffpods. Oooooooooooooooh now weren't those pretty! Giving in to her curiosity, the red-head went full on grabby hands near them and picked up a few. Pretty pretty pretty.......OOPS! Heels catching on themselves, Maisie stumbled forward and let go of the two puffpods she had been holding. "Sacre Bleu!" Her attempt to catch the puffpods made her crash into one of the tables and whacking her head on an umbrella flower. POP POP when the puffpods on the ground and THUD went the umbrella flower. |

the puffapods are flowers, not the actual pods <3 Quote:
... and what was with the locket? Nervous much? Quote:
He got up and went for the knocked over puffapod flowers. "If these are damaged you're gonna have to pay for them you know." And... gosh. What about the umbrella flower? Was that okay? |
Sacre Bleu! Ve assuuuumed wrong with ze sign *blushes* Quote:
Maisie stumbled again trying to straighten herself and knocked into, um, whatever else it was there was to knock into and the heel off her left shoe came right off. "Oh my, iz zere any?" she gasped. Herbology had never been her forte. And had anyone seen where her heel had went? |

As for the other, the petals were definitely bruised. West wasn't so sure about how to go about fixing that. He picked it up and one of the petals floated forlornly to the ground. ".... kinda. I don't know if we can fix them or anything." He peeked over at Professor Bentley. |
Bunz wants some flowers!!!!!!!!!! It was so good to see the students raising money for the school. So good to see a connection between economics and academics, Herbology and fundraising. Annie was sure this sale was going to bring in a lot of funding for the subject. And let's be honest here, people: Herbology was clearly the most serious and important subject that Hogwarts offered. She would know, having taught it. She |

SPOILER!!: Candy Girl Lex If Lex was agreeing on Tag's choice of which plant to get than it must be quite the excellent plant. He was happy he was helping out the school as best as he could. And, now he had a extra pretty plant to spark up the drawer beside his bed. "Mr. Leprechaun. Hehe. Sure, take your time Lex, no rush here." He reassured her as he began to drum on the side of his trousers as Lex did her required work. And soon enough Lex was spraying something into the plant and a few seconds later was passing it to Tag. "Oh, I'll show it off like the pretty plant it is." He said merrily as he lifted the plant into his hands and held it closely to his chest. "Thanks, Lex. See you around." The little blonde said as he carefully gave her a one motioned wave goodbye. |

"His name is David, and he's a little shy," the Headmistress supplied for her son, a half-smile on as she eyed the boy and then looked back to Sarah. "How is the sale going, Ms. Edwards? Are you making a lot?" |
SPOILER!!: Aron "Thanks, Mister!'' Jory said taking the coins. Yay! They were doing great! Every sickle helped. Professor Bentley? Why was the man asking about her? Did he want to find out more before he donated money? Jory cast a glance at his very pregnant Professor. "She's a wonderful Professor,'' he said honestly. "Something about the way she teaches Herbology makes it fun and appealing even to those who do not like the subject.'' He himself had been apprehensive about the subject for a few of his earlier years but now that was all gone. "Hogwarts is very lucky to have her.'' Yup. And he would miss her when he left Hogwarts. So, Jory had given an honest reply. Now the man can go help his school? Pretty please? SPOILER!!: Ronnie "Great! Bring some ice cream if you can,'' Jory told Ronnie. Really. Why did he suddenly want to eat that treat every single day now? "Not too much. But its still early.'' So hopefully more customer's will turn up soon? They were still doing okay with sales so far. "Okay, I'll see you later, Rons.'' Jory pecked her on her cheek once more before she left. |

I don't know how much we have made yet. Maybe you can ask West Oddessa, he always know a lot" Sarah had not counted, yet even if she did know she would not go around announcing it a her father always said 'that blessing is in what is hidden'. "So would you like those Fanged Geraniums that David picked out for you?" she asked. |
