Everyone seemed to stare at him when he exclaimed out loud. What? Sue him. It was awesome and he was gonna say something about it. Pfft. They could all go away if they were going to be all judgy that was HIS job.
And then they all went back into play. He didn't even care. THEY WERE GONNA JUDGE?! Fine, they could do this without him. It wasn't like he was taking HIS personal time to come and do this. Pfft.

After some food and a serious talking, Ascanius was BACK down at the field to run the second try out that he had committed to running so that both captains could practice. Grumble, grumble. Yeah, yeah; he had technically committed to this. Didn’t mean he wanted to be here. He had other things to do like be on the ground for instance.
Swallowing his irritation, to a certain degree because it seemed to be fueling him tonight, Ascanius looked at the whistle of power in his hand and threw it around his neck. As of this moment on he was going to be awesome. Oh wait, heh, he already had that covered.
Anyway, it was time for practice.
So Ascanius blew the whistle and said, leaning his elbows on the railing, "Okay, so this is round two today. I'm just gonna sit here and watch you all try and claw at each other. Mmk, entertain me." Tweet.

The best thing about THIS practice was that the only guy in sight was that Hairy guy. The one who was a Hufflepuff person. The REST of the people were all girls. And if Ascanius had learned anything by running that last practice it was that only girls should fly. Made them look all wind touched and the perfect shade of-
Game time. As soon as the ball was in the air, they were all vying for the ball and for the first time ALL day he saw someone in red. And he knew her by name: Melanie. Last Christmas she had given him a sweater. She was real nice and stuff. Easy on the eyes too.
And the BEST part about the girl in red, Melanie, was that she snagged the ball from Ella and made off with it down the field. It was nice to see her start off with a bang 'cause she was cool. Yeah?
Following her awesome steal, she scored. And started to hum to herself. Blink. Well, that's weird. Like creepy weird.

In general, though, this practice was a LOT calmer then the one earlier in the morning. These peeps typically seemed to be working together and NOT trying to kill each other. So all in all, he should have brought a book. Come on, where was the passion, the violence, the grit? He wanted to see some serious Star Wars stuff going on here.
Melanie threw the ball back into play though and like it was a merry tea time kind of deal, the hairy yellow guy and the cryer's girfriend tossed the ball back and forth between each other peacefully. Ugh, yeah they were on the same team, but c'mon. Bring it. Destroy each other.
And they didn't.
Instead, they played hot potato until hairy guy scored. Although, his swing was sort of intense. He wondered if he had a stellar left hook. Probably.
