The highly anticipated Quidditch seminar, led by all star athlete Colin Mackenzie, and well-advertised around the school, was supposed to be held today. Unfortunately, due to budget cuts and his tightly packed schedule, Mackenzie has been replaced by four of Hogwarts' more familiar speakers. All his posters have a big red CANCELED sign stamped over them, and the professors replacing Mackenzie --- Botros, James, Romanos, and Truebridge --- have a most serious expression on their faces as they stand in a line at the front of the spare room off the Great Hall.
Come in, have a seat on the floor (there are cushions around, don't complain), and get ready for an interesting.... lesson.

Well it was about time! This thing lost all it's appeal the moment the buzzers were banished. Now that it'd been a good while, she was actually missing that zapping sensation. SIGH.
She gave a small nod to the Headmistress. Of course she would be following the AUROR thing. The way she just explained it made it see real legit to herself so why not? Before she left though...she did have one question. "Is it possible for me to keep even one of the buzzers? I think I've grown quite attached to them in the last hour or so."
And now it would have been weird walking out without it...kinda like leaving candy behind. It just wasn't meant to happen.
NOPE.

Bowing to Alexa Cambridge, Dylan moved back to his previous spot and got his bag together. He hadn't pulled too many things out...Just a notebook and something to write with....that hadn't even been used. For shame, really. He'd been hoping for an autograph...
"This was...enlightening." His comment was directed at the Professors and Headmistress. It HAD been enlightening...but boring. Terribly boring.
"Good day." There was a game coming up...and the Captain would have much rather used the time to organize and prepare...

He shifted from foot to foot and then stilled himself, looking at the adults... some of whom he was actually taller than now. Blink. Weird. Wotttttttttt? A student was actually apologizing for his sullenness and misbehavior? Color her shocked.
"Well......" the Headmistress answered after a pause. "Glad you realized that, Mr. Odessa, and were able to learn something."

NOPE. "NO," the redhead answered sharply, quite suddenly, in reply to Alexa. "No no no. The buzzers are gone." VANISHED. For good.

Eliza watched, fully entertained as Dylan and Lex practiced some spells together. They were both really quick with their casting, so she made a mental note to not ever make either of them upset with her. She doubted there'd be reason for that anyway though.
Now that the seminar was done and she was allowed to be away from center stage, Eliza nodded her head and waved at the professors, especially Botros, before getting her bag to go. "Thank you professors, Headmistress." Although she hadn't completely agreed with the answers, and she REALLY disagreed with the method, she supposed their hearts were in the right place.
