Oh. Great. SO THE COLDNESS WAS BECAUSE OF BLOODY DEMENTORS. WHO LET THEM OUT?! Kat was starting to feel all sorts of bad feelings, like... her dad. Losing. So many horrible things in her head. And what's worst? She still couldn't perfect a bloody Patronus charm. She could do a non-corporeal Patronus, but it wasn't as powerful as a corporeal one. So she was depending (which she hated doing) on Dylan. And, Merlin, people! What were THEY doing here? Well, cue more screaming. "EVERYONE. LEAVE PLEASE." Okay... hold on. ALEXA. WHAT. Kat was giving stares at her pseudo!sister. Oh hell no, Kat was not going to let that bloody dementor take Lex's soul away. "ALEXA. FAKE!SISTER. PLEASE GET IN THE CASTLE." Don't make Kat cry in front of you, please. It wasn't going to be good. |
still singing soft kitty.. yep.. yep.. she says join in.. XD SPOILER!!: Big Brother Bestie and Boyfriend Poor Wade.. Poor.. poor Kitty Wade his arm had to have nail marks in it by now from the grip Minerva had on it. She wasn't letting go. Her strength and brain were because his voice brought her out of her down hill spiral and she was still standing from thoughts of being strong for a certain claw boy that she needed to stay at his station where he was safe. She then noticed someone or something beside her and jumped pulling her wand up, but then lowered when she saw Ethan. ETHAN O.o no he was not here.. He was not near the danger.. Not this again.. Not this feeling of torture, him in danger, her not able to help. Her mind was heading down that down hill again, but she just kept the singing going. When she heard Wade, "No.. any situation.. She was doing boggart, because who would put that onto a student for practice." She pointed at the dementor. "Soft kitty warm kitty little ball of fur.. Happy kitty sleepy kitty purr purr purr." She was going to keep this up. People thought she was crazy for singing this most of term, but look now people.. Using class work to good use.. Yes.. see laugh at crazy Min.. Laugh and send these freaking patronuses out to get rid of mean, creepy, soul sucking dementors out of here. Her mama Hadley had to hear her singing.. She had to.. She wanted to scream again, but she wouldn't she would just keep singing. "Soft kitty warm kitty little ball of fur. " Come on.. come on.. She inched from Wade to Ethan and gripped his arm with her nails. As for the students trying to get her to leave.. Not happening when her Mama Hadley was there and she was feeling helpless again.. |
Quote:
The thing was, though... he'd been living with that feeling all term, and it didn't immobilize him anymore. He slumped a little, and his grip on Cat loosened to the point that he dropped her hand. But then he grabbed it again, squeezing too tightly. "You don't have to be happy. Your thoughts. Just hold onto something strong. Home is good. And cupcakes and Toby." Because he knew Cat wanted to go, and he was going to go with her, but first... "Help Pen make Alice leave and I'm gonna get the Gryffindor." He nodded at Lex. "And then we'll go to the castle, ok?" Quote:
If Lex didn't go, Alice and Pen would never go, and then other people would stay and then no one would go. So it all started with the stubbornest Gryffindor ever, and she was going. He'd hex her straight off if she argued with him. |
The silver raven.......Dylan's patronus was soaring brightly towards the dark creature now....it was VERY bright......Beezus held tightly onto his arm, trying to flush out all the negative thoughts that still kept filling her head. "D-Dy........Professor Hadley......" Because the woman's safety was their priority right now. What if more dementor's come....and what if they perform the 'kiss'? These thoughts made her whimper and in a hurried voice, she yelled over to the still gathered crowd. "Anyone else who can do a Patronus, please help!" She had the greatest trust on Dylan....but they had to save Professor Hadley and if they worked together...this was going to be easier. .....and seriously....the others should stop being so stubborn. It wasn't the appropriate time for it. "Penelope, we need you to go back to the castle and tell the Professors and Headmistress what happened. Go. Now. " And do bring Alexa with you....and the others. This was a not a safe place. Not for anyone.....especially not for the Student Leaders.....but they had a responsibility. And even though she's never casted a corporeal patronus before, Beezus had pulled her wand out. She wasn't going to try and cast a patronus because she knew she'd be utterly useless. She was going to hex off these kids who were hardheaded as rocks. They needed to see sense here. |
Finn Emmaleigh blinked... Finn was talking to her. "Unstick?" she asked following gaze. "Oh." she said seeing the kids, Nodding, she said "Yeah" and quickly cast Finite on the to kids. "Get back to the castle" she hollered at them. The castle, where she had had so many happy memories. The Red head was trying to some memory strong enough. Only things that made her sad came to mind when she caught sight of a familiar little I'm going to be a Ravenclaw, or I'm going to eat the hat Gryffindor. Alexa, Chocolate! She always had some, and by the looks of it, was eating some now. "Alexa, I need a frog." she said before accioing one to her. "I'll pay you back." she said ripping open the package and biting its head off before it could even jump. She felt a bit of warmth run through her veins, and although the dementors were still affecting her, the chocolate was helping. Her mind was clear enough to servey the situation. Too many bodies cowering, and Hadley. Not good, not good. She willed herself to panic and took another bite of the frog "If you can't make a patronous, get back to the castle. Find Trubridge and the professors!" She wasn't going these were her kids, her friends. She knew she could do a patronus, she had done one before. Switching the wand to her other hand, she grabbed the guy's beside her hand. Sure, it wasn't the right hand, but it would have to do. Thinking of her adventures out on the quidditch pitch she squeezed the hand tightly as she called out "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" This time, a silvery crup bounded from the tip of her wand and headed straight for the Dementors, and her former head of house. |
Text Cut: Helping out Manolo pushed Awar and the two other puffs toward the castle. "Get into the castle and STAY in the castle!" He ordered his sister. He made sure they made their way towards safety before returning to help the prefects and adults. He lined up along with the others and pointed his wand at the hooded figures. He closed his eyes, looking for those happy times, those amazing memories that had forever settled in his mind. It was difficult. There was this feeling of enclosing darkness, but he could see some sort of light. He grasped the memory of the summer he met Cara in Spain and Awar's 10th birthday where the whole family was together. Forcing his eyes open, he tightened his grip on his wand and belted out, "EXPECTO PATRONUM!!" A light figure in the form of a wolf danced out of the tip of his wand. He didn't know if it would be enough, but it was the best he could do. He dropped to his knees. He felt so weak. |
Yes we hear the yelling of her name tooooo Wasn't it obvious that she was trying to stay calm? Everyone else was running about panicking and she was keeping it together so could they STOP yelling her name??? Merlin's Beeeeeaaaard! YES she heard them say go back to the castle, NO she did NOT plan to listen. Uuuugggghhhhh. She needed ice-cream. Yup. Ice-cream. It was the most legit thing she could think of, even more legit than the chocolate frog in her hand. Perhaps she could go find some?? Yes, that would be nice. Icccceeee-creeeeeam, sweet, delicious....she found herself drifting away in happy thoughts of the cold treat. So yummy. So GOOD. NOW SHE NEEDED ICE-CREAM!!!! Oh? Kat yelling at her too. SIIIIIGH. It's like no one else remembered the seminar. Quote:
EHHHHHHH?? There was a Mo heading toward her, grabbing her--WHY was she being slung over his shoulder like a sack of chocolate frogs???? "I will do no such thing! You put me down RIGHT NOW!!!! Now! NOW! NOW!!!!" He obviously wouldn't be able to tell but the look she was giving him was NOT a good one. "I am being SUPER serious! Put. Me. Down!!!!" She was not something to be lifted and taken away. She was staying close to Mr. Vinteren because he was the best choice in a situation like this. The castle had nooks for dementors to HIDE in then AMBUSH them on their way up the towers!!!! Down! She wanted DOWN!! Lex began pounding at his back with her fists."Are you listening??? PUT ME DOWN!!!" Everyone was staying so she would too!!! Then it happened. The remainder of her chocolate frog fell from her hands. "Eeeeeek!! No! This is serious!! My candy! Mo! Put me dooooown!!!! I don't wanna waaaaaaaste it!!!!" NOW she was close to tears. Precious chocolate frog. She wasn't going ANYWHERE with the Ravenclaw! Quote:
She couldn't even see the girl to tell her NO. See why Mo needed to put her down?? She couldn't operate like this!!! "I-um--" But then she felt a chocolate frog zip out of her pocket. What the kneazle???? Nuuuuuuuuuuuu!!!!! "Mo! Look what you made happen!!!! Put me down before someone else can steal any!!! You owe me a chocolate frog for that!!!" And she was still hitting at him. Was this what they were reduced to? STEALING candy for third years??? She did NOT approve!!! |
Here now! First it was Very cold and then Alexa was yelling at him to release so she could have candy!?!? Oakey had no clue what was going on, and the moment Alexa whipped her wand out undid his sticking charm Oakey slipped... It took him all the extra effort he could muster to finally pull himself out of the goo, and to the seating area with chaos and everyone yelling the Patronus Charm. In only a moment to follow the direction of some of the Patronus' Oakey saw it, Dementors and Professor Hadley getting her soul sucked! Minerva singing, the other Student leaders yelling for everyone to get to the Castle. Mo tackling and hoisting Alexa over his shoulders. The air around him felt so cold, and the atmosphere of this event, it wasn't actually supposed to make everyone scared, and depressed. No time for it though Oakey, you had to step up. Just like Flamsteed said he had to. "LISTEN TO STUDENT LEADERS! MO, DON'T TACKLE ALEXA SO HARD NEXT TIME! SOME OF YOU SHOULD PATRONUS FOR PROFESSORS WHO ARE NOT HERE! GET THEM NOW!! Oakey shoved his hand deep into his pockets, gripping a piece of hard candy he unwrapped it and tossed it in his mouth. It wasn't chocolate, but it was sweet. AND NO ONE WILL SPEAK A WORD ABOUT OAKEY CARRYING CANDY ON HIM!"PENELOPE GO NOW!" With that Outburst Oakey then turned his attention back to the Dementor that was hovering over Hadley. He cleared his head as much as he could, and grasped onto the the happiest thought he could get a hold on to. "EXPECTO PATRONUM!" Oakey barked and out burst a corporeal Blueish-White Moose. Head lowered and charging at the Dementor over his Head of House. |
What did people NOT get about listening to student leaders? That whole seminar was a load of old tosh, but none of them were getting their souls sucked on Alice's watch. And.. and did Dylan need assistance? Keeping that Patronus? She still didn't trust any of the adults' ones as much as his. "Dylan.. your snitches.." Sniff. "You caught three against Aidan, remember? This term, the one in the middle of the pitch? And another by Kat's goalposts and that last one when you guys crashed into Penelope.." Quidditch stats were helping, right? "And those ones against us, near the hoops when you had to dive? And.. and again really high up in the air, there was one I couldn't see.. and that one that went all around the stadium.." And Oakey! Was he going to share his candy or what? "Did you HEAR your Head Boy? If you aren't a student leader, EVACUATE. LEAVE NOW. I CAN STILL USE MY TEETH WHEN DEMENTORS ARE AROUND." Just saying. And why was there a guy throwing chocolate at her? "PROFESSOR KNOX! PROFESSOR VINTEREN?" Where were they? She rubbed at her eyes and tried not to look like she was crying, because she totally wasn't. Really. |
thank you for vaiting for me ;) Quote:

Text Cut: PhoenixRising, DementorsAttacking And then were there, the dementors he had been "Back to vhe castle, now," the governor calmly commanded, stepping forward at last and striding toward the dementors as though they had no effect on him. He sent off a nonverbal message patronus to the castle, then cast one of the protective variety as he continued walking toward Hadley. And another. And another. Silvery hippogriffs were exploding from his wand like he was a one-man magic show. Hopefully, it would be enough to hold the dementors off for a moment. By now he had reached Hadley's side, and although he was shivering, his patronuses were holding form. No more of the dementors would be getting to the Arithmancy professor now that he was here. |
Anya was getting progressively more sad. She was gradually slumping on Jake and using him for support. It was so cold and just... standing was so much effort. She turned her face into Jake as Dylan finally got a patronus out. Those things were BRIGHT. She pulled away slowly and rubbed her eyes. Oh. And there were more. From everywhere. Bright animals. She hoped they were working. And Alice. She understood her message. Brilliant. The whistle was blowing and there was yelling. This was good. At least everyone knew what was going on. Wait... was... was she crying. "Hey Alice... ... I bet the kids need help not trampling each other in the castle." Just a helpful suggestion if she didn't want to be here. Anya, however, was staying. Her place was next to Jake. And Jake was here because of that badge on his chest and the Snake Captain next to him. But... Alice could go if she wanted... And she should take Penne with her. She flashed the younger girl a begging look. Please go. Anya was starting to get flashbacks of bad dreams and she did not want to worry about people. ... besides... it looked like Foreign!Professor had it covered. |
"I DON'T CARE IF YOU CAN STILL USE YOUR TEETH!!!!" Sky yelled back at the Gryffindor Captain. Really. SHE WAS NOT GOING! And was that Ravenclaw carrying Alexa away from the chaos? Good. You know, since the Gryffindor wouldn't listen to reason and all. And now there was a professor. Though, not Professor Airey, whom she'd seen back at the Bertie Botts challenge. Professor Vinteren it was. And now he was telling them to go. Plus, producing Hippogriff patronuses. Haha, Professor Vinteren's patronus was a hippogriff. Moment to laugh please. Okay, moment over. And this Slytherin was leaving now. |
Dylan was focusing solely on keeping his patronus alive...There was lots of shouting and screams...but he was blocking it all out. He had to....do this...Alice needed him to...Jake needed him to....The others were getting people to safety, he was sure...He was just a Captain...They'd make everyone see reason... SPOILER!!: Alice! ...but then Alice's voice was cutting through the fog. She was...talking about his Quidditch stats...and...the wetness around his eyes seemed to increase, forming small tears....and then slipping slowly down his reddened cheeks. The Slytherin Captain had never been so scared in all his life. He wanted to respond...but was worried that if he did...the silver Raven would vanish...and they couldn't have that...He needed to...keep it alive and strong. For Hadley...and for her blasted numbers... SPOILER!!: Professor! .......Professor Bond. Well, he didn't seem to have any troubles producing multiple patronuses...and...Dylan promised himself he'd learn that trick...because that was bloody impressive. He broke his focus and concentration...letting his bright raven vanish...and turned to Jake and Anya...His grip on Bee's hand was almost bone-breaking. Tears might have still clung to his lashes... His heart was racing.....and his head.... Damn. "Jake....." We need to...go..... |
Quote:
She was spurred by the leaving thing. It was definitely a good idea to put as much distance between the dementors and herself as possible. "Okay." Right. Okay. She was rather unsure that Alice would budge, but she could try. She could be a good friend even if she was super sad and homesick. Quote:
She touched the girl's arm and gave her a little tug. "Come with us, Alice Palace. Don't cry." Really, don't cry cause then Cat would cry too. |
Finally. Professors. One hand locked around Oakey's veggie drink, the other hanging limply by her side, Alice didn't even register the Slytherin's snarky comment her way. The was still a whistle in her teeth, and she feebly blew it again, knees wobbling. Help? Still silently crying here. She.. she wanted hugs. And chocolate. It was all she could do to keep standing on her jelly legs and not curl up on the ground right there like a three year old. No fetal position in front of people, okay? Especially when Vinteren was taking care of it, she was supposed to feel relieved. But her legs were kind of stuck. Had Anya said something, too? And.. "C-cat?" Were the dementors gone yet or what? Was Hadley okay? Was she supposed to be leaving now? |
Try and try as the students may, their progress gave no flub in the dementors' desire for the human's happiness. One in particular swooped around as silent as air itself, reaching for one of the younger students whom was particularly loud in her attempts to stay put, when a silver raven flew it off course. It glided back towards it's ambush partner, fingers twitching as it stared around the chaos, while the other moved closer to it's finale ending with the female professor. Before either could act further, a silver hippogriff collided against them, driving them back a few feet. One after the other, the silvery hippogriffs pushed the dementors further back despite their attempts to swoop in through the bright lights. Rather than fighting it any longer, the dementors glided off into the shadows, lingering nearby as they looked for their next opening, yet still visible from the few still lit torches and moonlight every now and then. |
Group around Dylan Damn good Timing Professor Mr.Vinteren. Oakey watched the man produce Patronus after Patronus and was impressed, Oakey lowered his wand and let his Moose dissipate leaving the History of Magic Professor handle the Dementors. He would need to focus his attention on remaining students who were still around. He moved closer to the group that had formed around the Slytherin Captain, Oakey noted Dylan was crying. Seeing this just made him feel like he needed to say something, do something. Dylan didn't want anything to do with him though. Oakey felt terrible now. Not that he couldn't do anything, but that Dylan would probably not want it."Is everyone here Okay? I've got some candies if anyone needs anything sweet. He reached into his pocket and pulled out three more pieces of his secret hard candy stash He kept a close eye on the Dementors who seemed to be retreating. This was good. Vinteren would shoot more at them until they left completely hopefully. |

"Will you? Please?" |
Vinteren and Oakey.. Dementors too... Minerva was still singing.. why was she still singing her soft kitty song. Was it to keep herself calm or was her brain so not working and it just wouldn't stop. She sang and sang as she watched in horror. The dementors seemed to be killing her mama Hadley. Tears were forming as she felt like she was going to watch another mother figure die. No this was not happening.. please someone do something. Dylan's Patronus seemed to have done something, but Hadley was still in danger so much danger. That's when she saw it. Professor Eyes back at Hadley, "Pro.. professor.. is ma...Professor Hadley going to be alright?" Please let her be alright.. Even if Wacka doodle evil healer had to come here to save her, please let it happen. Let Hadley be alright. Just then she saw something near the light looking her eyes grew. They still weren't leaving.. Why were the dementors not leaving.. She really just needed hugs, |
More patronuses....the place was becoming brighter now and Beezus' hopes were getting higher. They'll make it through this. They'll be back in the castle's safe confines in a while....the Headmistress and Professors will come soon....Professor Hadley was going to be alright...... Some we still fighting off, badly wanting to stay and she would have pointed her wand at them to force them out of there had it not been for Professor Vinteren's arrival. They had to go back now. He had it under control, yeah? She was feeling gloomy about the whole idea of leaving him with those dark creatures but she would be able to take care of himself surely....what with all the hippogriffs emerging from his wand. Alice was crying, she could tell. She wanted to smack the Slytherin who was yelling at the Gryffindor Captain.....but stopped herself because Dylan needed her now. Her hand was hurting....because of how tight he was holding her but she held back just as tightly. When his Raven vanished, Beezus gulped.....quickly turning to him. "Babe...." Merlin.....was he crying? She had to muster much strength just to stop herself from doing the same. Biting her lip, she allowed her hand to rub his lower back. "Ssshhhh....it's okay." Her chin was wobbling, and she was chewing the insides of her cheek. She had to keep herself together. She been useless enough...it was all she could do, really. "Oakey, we...we're okay..." They were, right? Jake and Anya? Alice? She was being taken care of. A huge lump was stuck in her throat.....it was hard to breathe and throwing the scene a little far from them under look made her want to burst out. This wasn't really the perfect time AND place for them to be wallowing over their miserable thoughts, yeah? The dementors were still there. It meant they had to go.... Beezus tugged on Dylan's hand.. "Let's go." ....... ......."Everyone, p-please go back to...to the castle now." She said as loud as her depressed voicebox would allow. |
Quote:
Still, the sight of the retreating dark creatures was supposed to be a good thing, so he continued to send his hippogriffs in their direction. Back to the forest now with you lot. The hippogriffs formed a silver band around the children still out there, a nice, solid, protective band. He was such a good professor, wasn't he? He could have sat back and done nothing...speaking of doing nothing, where was Ivy? Erik would have looked for her were he not busy concentrating here. Quote:
Whether or not she would be all right...it was not his place to say. "You should head back to vhe castle, Ms. Wheatborn. Vhere's nothing more to be done here." |
Quote:
Minerva wibbled a bit.. maybe even more then a bit. She saw his blue eyes on her, but her look was at Hadley. He wanted her to leave.. NO.. she couldn't leave. She wouldn't leave. "Please professor.. I.. I want to stay and make sure she is alright. Please let me stay." She didn't know what she could do to help, but she couldn't just go back to the castle not knowing what was going on with mama Hadley. She felt her legs get a little weak at the sent for the Healer and she almost screamed NOT THE WACKA DOODLE... NO to the evil Healer. Her hands went to the hat and she pushed it down a little further hiding the very short hair from the burning that had happened right in front of that healer. She wasn't going to help anything. Her and Lafay were probably dementors hiding in human bodies. They new how to ruin someones super happy mood just as those dementors did. Now she wibbled again and wanted ice cream really bad. "Maybe professor Hadley needs ice cream." Yeah, that would bring her back and she would be happy again. |
Blue hadn't even realized where her feet were taking her till they'd stopped behind a tree. She wasn't attacked or anything but it it was like when you saw something coming at you or just knew you had to run without knowing why. Some people fled, idiots stared with their mouths opening wide. Those were always the first ones to die. Or in this case, loose all their happy memories. She slid down the tree and hugged her knees. It wasn't the best maneuver - if the dementors somehow managed to find any tiny bit of happiness left, running was out of the question. The only reason running had worked this time because there was so many other people panicking. Blue was sure exactly how long she'd been crying. Her eyes were starting to get sore and she had snuffled to keep from looking like a completely and absolute mess. Snot and tears were not a good look, you know. She buried her face in her knees, trying her best to silence herself, before thinking really sad stuff. Dying knarls....injured horses........drinking unicorn blood......and then more personal stuff. Like running away. When the silvery light lit up and the coldness/sadness/Dementor-ness left slightly. Blue rose to her feet, grateful she'd finally stopped sniveling. She didn't exactly have an excuse for it. She hadn't been brave like other kids. She'd hid behind a bloody tree. All she really wanted was the excuse of being a first or second year. That way later she could get Beatrice to give her cuddles and stroke her hair till she fell asleep again. That would be way better than chocolate. Speaking of Bee... Blue really wanted to run over there and cling on for dear life. But she was a fourth year so that was unacceptable. Besides, she was taking care of Dylan and he had been brave. So Blue just tucked her hands under her arms to keep them warm and followed the rest of the students up into the castle, still thinking about really sad stuff. It was hard to stop once she'd started. |
reaction, Vinteren and exeunt the rebel butterfly ;) *not quoting* Half-focused on her recently acquired mud cup, Kendall had still heard the greetings from Penelope and Professor Hadley. She’d just been a bit too distracted to realize it all, and by the time she had, everyone had sort of drifted away from the spot at the food table. At least, the younger Gryffindor had, and as she’d thought about what the professor had said, she wasn’t sure if it needed a response. Therefore, still enjoying the mud cup, she’d just slowly drifted away as well. Not getting too far from the food, though, in case she decided she wanted another mud cup. Plus, it would probably be easier for Patrick to find her there if he showed up. In any case, she’d noticed the fog creeping in, and the vague sense of dread that came with it. She’d just been torn between running and standing her ground, since superheroes didn’t run. Superheroes stayed and fought, but as soon as she’d seen the first scabby hand, this little superhero abandoned her post and dove under the table, huddling there with the remains of her mud cup clutched in her hand and her fedora askew. Looking toward the forest with wide eyes as if she expected an acromantula to come creeping out after the dementors. Not just any acromantula either, but the one she’d encountered in the Arithmancy maze, and in her fear, she’d tuned out the screams, shrill whistles and loud casting of Patronus charms, even the revelation that the dementors were attacking Professor Hadley. All she was able to think about was the acromantula, and what it had felt like last summer when she’d been comatose from Patrick’s brother’s attack. Until the voices had gotten closer to her hiding spot, and she’d remembered where she was. I can cast a corporeal Patronus, she thought, peeking out from under the table only slightly to see silvery hippogriffs charging right and left, no dementors in sight. Maybe her butterfly wouldn’t be useful, but she still pulled her wand out and sent a semi-transparent one flying toward the trees before crawling out from under the table, scooping one last little bit of pudding from the cup before leaving it on the table. That and she remembered the chocolate in her pockets, veering toward Professor Vinteren near the Arithmancy professor on her way back to the pathway to the castle. “Um, here,” she said softly, pulling a bar out of her pocket and handing it to him. “Chocolate helps, so Professor Hadley can have this. If the healer doesn’t mind.” At least it made her feel a little better for hiding, like she’d done something even if it was too little too late. Especially since she could hardly look toward the other professor. Once she’d finished speaking, she stuck her hand back in her pocket and retrieved another half-bar and started munching on it while she walked back toward Hogwarts. She still hadn’t gotten rid of all the despair and fear from before, so chocolate was definitely needed. |
SPOILER!!: yayyy!! Thanks for trying! <33Sorry if we missed you! Hadley was trying desperately to linger on .... lingering to the distant calls she heard for her. The cries. The spells. She heard them all.... and somewhere deep inside, she was lingering and clinging to them, as she felt the creepy coldness clinging to her.... as she felt long fingers reaching for her skin .... She would hold on though. Those students. She heard them. They needed her. She needed them. Be strong, Hadley, she told herself, as she felt herself slumping down by a tree stump, her wand slipping from her grasp onto the frosted ground. Quote:

Vinteren. Could it be? "Erik." She spoke softly, trying to recollect her thoughts. "You. Your patronus is a hippogriff?" Because it had to have been; he was the only adult she saw, unless he/she ran off after casting. And for that many hippogriffs, well a student couldn't have conjured so many corporeal patronuses in such a short time. Could they have? |
