"Now you're a gentleman, eh?" Smirk. Two could play at that game. "Let us race with an addition of slime." Curtsy. She led him out of the room to the slime race. |

Awar nodded, "I'd love to!" She waved to the other firstie, "Hello, Marigold! Good to see you!" She looked up at her brother, "I'll be over at the games if you need me, okay?" Manolo nodding, smirking at the mature tone his sister was putting up. "Be careful, kids." He waved goodbye to the others and immediately proceeded to the buffet table. Finally. |

Oh? Hadley was always up to something? She grinned again. "Wanna tell me what you're up to now then?" Or was she just up to looking for food like she was? Quote:

Blinking a little due to the red contacts in her eyes, the Hufflepuff cautiously made her way to the seating area. Clumsiness was a no, no and these contacts were not entirely comfortable on her eyes which was why she took a little longer than she usually would have. But eventually she got there and she scanned around the long table, already knowing what was there, but looking for one thing in particular and that was mud cups. Having found them, she placed her money in the jar and took one for herself turning around to look at the people there. Hmmmm...interesting bunch of people, she knew most of them though. But the outsiders she paid extra attention to them, because there were certain people she hoped would be here like maybe Treyen, Mia and....Kurumi...which she had just spotted. Beam! It had been long. "Love, love, love your skirt." She nudged the former Gryffindor and smiled. |

Kurumi's hair maaaaaaaaaaay have turned white as snow from fright, but she was not aware of this either. Hand on her chest, she took a few deep breaths and could feel her heart pounding against her chest. "S-S-Sorry, Nessie, you just...you just startled me with your, um, your costume." Was she supposed to have dressed up for this? She had sort of missed that memo. Not that she would have had time to change into anything after her internship had ended. She had barely had enough time to head home and have dinner with Lewis before heading back out here. Calmed down now, Kurumi opened her arms wide a bit. "Come here and give me a hug, Head Girl." |
daichi ^^, o____________________O? Eh. Did Juliet say something that left him.... speechless and yet only a grin was stuck on his face? Juliet tried recalling, unless if the grin meant about him being busy then that's just about it. However, Juliet just smiled back. Why is she even over thinking this in the first place? Juliet then tug some of her hair and looked at the place. It's the first time that she had to enjoy this at night. The designs are really nice too and the cupcake that she had just finished eating is delightful. The money spent was worth it. Is it possible for her to take one more? She'll pay. False alarm. Juliet pouted as Daichi said that he just wanted some. "For a second there, I thought they served ice cream. It would have been nice to have some. I've been wanting to eat since last week" odd thought how she can't stop but want to eat ice cream. "We should have ice cream some other time" she grinned at him. The signature blush, Juliet smiled even more. Only because it is true. Juliet rarely sees him in anything black so this is quite the change. Just when she was about to respond, Daichi went on rambling over words and then more words. Juliet couldn't help but giggle. Not that she found them funny, it's cute actually. It's just that, she has never heard him like that...... "Thank you" she said gleefully while nudging his shoulder. "It's okay, Prefect" she said saluting to him. Well, kind of just joking around. do you think i can win a duel? Juliet blankly stared at him. "With who? I mean...... right now?" her eyebrow raised in confusion. What's going to happen? Is it part of this activity? Or someone has asked to duel with him that will take part next time? Her eyes narrowed as she went closer to Daichi, eyeing him. Is he serious? he sounded serious anyway. As she backed away, Juliet fixed her shirt. "I think any student who reaches the seventh year can win a duel. For starters, people your age can freely use magic any time. And second, it's surprising that you are bringing this up. Who are you going to duel with?" of course, Juliet will always be as curious as ever. |

Despite knocking her over, this kid actually seemed pretty decent, she had to admit. Most kids probably would have just ran away. "No, thank you." Ivy made a face that sort of resembled a smile and waved her hand at the kid. "Go have fun." |
Text Cut: You “They’renotwhat’scute.” He mumbled, the tips of his ears reddening. ”Why would you be scared? So far, he hadn’t seen anything that was actually scary. Just food that looked gross, but that did taste kinda good. And she wouldn’t be scared because he was here right? ”AndIthoughtweweresupposedtobemeeting.” Hadn’t he said he’d meet her at the thing? What other thing did she think he meant? Kaiden just continued to frown when she said no pie. He hadn’t meant that she couldn’t eat pie with that stupid-face, he just meant he wouldn’t be eating it. He didn’t trust him. But he wasn’t going to tell her those things right now, in front of him. He would just wait till they were alone, or well, not with Nash. “You are strange, you know that? For someone who doesn’t like spiders…. You eating one is strange.” As he eyes the thing, he was sure it had moved just a bit. Could they have been magicked to move? “A game?” the boy asked, looking around. Oh. They had things over there. “Yeah, sure” he said, giving her hand a small squeeze, because hand, he was holding it, and he liked it. Hand. What he did not like was Miks inviting Nash to come, but he didn’t want to make her angry… So he was just sort of going to ignore that then. “Goo game? Er… sure we can do that I guess.” Noticing the slight whimper, the fourth year let go of the girl’s hand and put his arm around her shoulder, which made it even easier for him to hug her when she turned towards her. Feeling her stiffen slightly, he asked, “Everything aright?” and then gave a hoarse “Oh,” when she said she wouldn’t kiss him, and that her brother was here. “Which one? The one from the car or thereallyscaryone?” because it was important. But then she hugged him tight, and he returned the hug, pleasantly surprised with the kiss. And worried too, that he had seen it. “You said something about a game? he asked, meaning, lets go now, please. “Hello.” the red head said smiling at the guy as he ruffled his hair. That staring thing, it was kinda creepy. But the good news was, if this guy did turn out to be a creep, atleast she was somewhere familiar. It was Hogwarts, and even though it no longer felt like home, it was safe. It was always safe… well, except the year there were man eating plants… and the time… okay yeah, but it was safe now. “That’s your sister?” she asked looking at the little blonde girl. She was tiny, and looked incredibly young. And there didn’t seem to be any family resemblance either, but she wasn’t sure if siblings usually looked alike or not, and the lighting wasn’t helping either. “He licked her finger?” Em asked, looking at the kid who now had his arm around the girl. “He must like her.” Because that sounded like something she would do. She would have no qualms about licking Max’s finger… that thought made her frown, and it made her tummy hurt. She bit her lip, as she gazed in the direction of the quidditch pitch, unable to see anything past the far torches. “Yeah, fancy.” She said still gazing off into the distance. “Wait!” she said turning back to the guy beside her. “We planned to meet here.” She smiled and gave him a punch in the arm. “That’s for being a flobber worm.” The girl shook her head at the question. “No, not really… Maybe at the death day party but I don’t remember. Its usually really pretty though. And, food sounds okay I guess.” she said moving closer towards the buffet table. Seeing the spider cupcakes she shuddered. ” Or, no, I think I’m good. Not hungry. We should go. From here.” Why? Why would someone make those things? |
Anyone! Sure it was a little odd that this whole thing was really Halloweenish but that was okay with her! The fourteen year old loved Halloween anyway, so it all worked out. Well, maybe she should say that she loved fall, since she could really do without the super creepy stories and things like that - she really just liked the decorations and the snacks. And the leaves turning colors... Anyway, Eliza was here now, and she was ready to have some fun! Now hopefully she could find something to participate in, or better yet, someone to talk to. She wasn't sure if Ethan or Min would be able to come or not, since she'd heard they'd gotten detention earlier. She especially hoped Ethan could come since he was a prefect and likely helped out with all of this, but she wasn't sure. She was pretty sure she could spot a very energetic Lex running around at the activities, so maybe she'd catch up with her a minute or two, after she scoped out the whole scene here before her. So for now, her hazel eyes drifted along the crowd, observing all of the people, some of which she'd never seen before. Intriguing... |

Yep, his dad was a very smart man. He had his own potion making business and he was sure that he owned other businesses as well, but Mikey wasn't sure what they were because he would rather go and play then listen to the importance of setting yourself up for the future. But he was sure that the Professor did not want o hear all about that. "Okay then." He said starting off and giving the woman a wave. "It was nice talking to you Professor." Now where was that food? His hunger had returned. |

MELLOW. Um...what was wrong with Kurumi? With a very, very confused look, the red head just watched her older friend. She couldn't exactly understand what the commotion was all about and for that moment had completely forgotten about the contacts in her eyes. Maybe it was something behind her or who knew? But Kurumi's hair out of nowhere began turning white and all Ness could do was stare even more, this time her eyes widening. Seriously what was going on? Nessie opened her mouth to speak, but before she could Kurumi beat her to it. Costume, now? Um...okay...more confusion for the badger. Whatever it was, she never really meant to startle Kurumi. "It's okay. Um...I'm not wearing a costume though?" WAIT WAIT. It was the contacts. Right. "You mean my eyes?" She asked with a small pout forming on her cherry-pink lips. Smile. Kurumi was calm and back to normal, which meant Nessie stopped her wide eyed staring. The Head Girl bit really wasn't necessary, but Ness gave Kurumi a tight squish. She missed her tons. Missed seeing her at Hogwarts most, but life was life. "I'm glad you came, you know? Miss seeing you around on these grounds." Yes. Kurumi needed to know she was missed. |
Text Cut: Awar and Manolo! Hugs. Hugs were awesome, weren't they? Alec wrapped his arms around his pseudo-sister and hugged her back, squeezing her a little. "A-okay doesn't sound bad..." he said, letting go of her, "Everything's great with me! Studying's boring but there's always Quidditch and Ells and friends and you!" With that, he reached over and gave her a gentle poke on the nose. And... dude. Dude person. Alec didn't really know what the look on the older guy's face meant but he was sure that it wasn't exactly a good one. "Oh! Erm... well... I'd recommend the cupcakes, they're really nice!" he said, reaching up a hand to ruffle his hair. Scary dude seemed scary. ... Oh. OH! BLINK. Wait... did the dude think... him and Awar... O_O Probably not. But it was sort of in the rule of a big brother to be wary of any boy being around his sister, yeah? Alec let out a small sigh of relief at the grin on the older guy's face before grinning back. "Nice to meet you too, Manolo!" he said, shaking the guy's hand, "Oh, it's my pleasure!" Nodnod. ... Chuckle. "It sounds like she's really fond of you so... I don't think I would be able to even if I tried." Not that he really had. GRIN. Text Cut: Kace! Alec took hold of an eyeball cupcake and bit down into it as Kace looked around the area. This wasn't bad, actually. The cupcake. And it reminded him a lot of Halloween. If only he had thought about his clothing choice and decided to dress-- ... Oh? Appreciate. Prefects. Nodnod. "Yeah, they've done a really great job, haven't they?" he said, looking down at the cupcake with an impressed look on his face. They really were nice. Really. How many was he allowed to have? "Really?" he asked, looking back at Kace, "Well... you're going to have a lot more to come, I hope. The Prefects do this every year!" Yeah? Didn't they? The Shrieking Shack? How do you explain it to a firstie who could get scared? ... "Well... it's a haunted house in Hogsmeade, the village near the school," That didn't sound scary, right? "I've never been in there though," And... he probably wasn't going to try. He definitely wasn't going to let Kace go in there; what would Belle say?! Alec shook his head and looked over at Kace, just in time to see jelly pouring out of the first year's mouth. "I'll take that as a yes, then?" he said, letting out a small chuckle. And for good measure, he reached over and ruffled the boy's hair, too. |
Text Cut: AlecBeaaarr <3 "Yes, well, we're all we have to each other," Awar, along with her brother, reached for a cupcake after having paid. Manolo Awar nodded, "This are really good!" She looked over at Alec and smirked maliciously. Taking a good finger scoop, she assaulted Alec's nose with the cupcake's icing. You poke me, I'll paint you with delicious topping! |
SPOILER!!: Alec! :3 When Kace heard he was going to have a lot more to come, he perked up and even a little jello fell off his face. Woops....that was embarrassing. He hoped Alec didn't think he was a slob. But hey he was young. Plus the jello was really good! He nodded when Alec figured he enjoyed the jello. He even asked Alec about the prefect events. "Really they have events like this every year? Woah that is so cool! Now i wonder what the winter one will be like." When Alec was explaining the shrieking shack, Kace's adventure personality peaked. He was curious to explore. "Awww i am sure it is not THAT scary but i am curious to go in there. I mean haven't you been curious what is inside." He smiled to Alec with his eyes widened with the prospect of exploring the shrieking shack. |
Erik had not planned to make an appearance at this event, sick as he was of fundraisers, but as he strolled along toward the forest, a certain someone caught his eye. Text Cut: Ms. Knox "Ms. Knox," he called out as he strolled over to her, one hand in his suit pocket. Erik watched as some boy she was talking to scrambled off. Good timing, lad. "Lovely weather this evening." He flicked his blue gaze up toward the sky and then back to her. Lovely. Just lovely. For now. |
So. This event seemed anything but pleasant. But. Anya was dating a Prefect. Thus, she was going to be supportive of things he was involved in. She browsed the buffet. She made faces and shuddered slightly at things. She then decided the mud cups looked relatively safe. Assuming, of course, it wasn't actually mud. She dropped 10 sickles into a jar (because she was grabbing one for Jake and wasn't exactly sure if she had to pay twice). Grabbing the two cups, she looked around before spotting her boyfriend. Okay. Supportive. She could be supportive. She could do it. Even if everything was... gross. He was worth it. |
Quote:
"Mr. Vinteren," she replied with a nod and a glance his way. Then she looked up at the sky. "It's alright." Still a bit too chilly for her preference, but it would do. After a moment, she looked back over at Erik, suddenly discovering the need to stop her smile from growing. "How are you?" |
Quote:
"I'm doing fine," Erik shrugged non-committally. "Haff you tried any of vhe prefect's events today?" He was curious to see his fellow governor at this silly little event for children. But he was also sure she had her reasons for being here, as did he. His gaze trailed toward the forest with that thought before returning to Ivy. |
Quote:
"Will you be trying any?" she asked a moment later, catching Erik look over at the forest. Ivy blinked and looked over at the large, dark cluster of trees before looking back at Erik... She was suspicious, she was. More so than usual. |
Quote:
Erik shook his head. "I'm just here to watch." Watch what...he didn't say. |
Quote:
"Same here," she responded, glancing toward the forest again quickly. She had a feeling they weren't watching the same things. |
Quote:
"Don't look that way," he leaned in and whispered in her ear. "Subtly is the game I'm here to play, okay?" Subtly and harmless observation. Nothing bad ever came of observation |

Subtlety, eh? "You're not doing a very good job," she whispered back, disguising it with a small smile, linking her fingers with his. He was the one who had looked over there to begin with. But she |

..."Vhat are these things?" he asked curiously, picking up something that was either a very pale finger or a cookie coated in white chocolate. Should he eat it? Was it edible? |
