Seating and Viewing Area Stepping outside into the school grounds the night is dark and the wind whistling is the only sound you hear. The cold breeze does not help much either, better keep warm and close as you walk along a path lighten dimly with fire torches. It is likely you may feel spooked, but fear not, soon you will reach your destination. After walking for a few minutes, you begin to see more than just the forest borders and the surrounding grass. Even though the light is to a minimum, you are still able to see what is before you. |
For Anyone and Their Face :3 This was... kind of cool. He was gonna give them all that, not that it was apparent on his face or anything. Pfft, no on the outside he was totally cool and handsome as per usual. But the whole spooky business and the fact that it was at night kind of rocked. A little. Ahem. Anyway, tugging on his jacket, Ascanius made his way down to a seat at a round table. He wasn't going to be eating any of the food or partaking in probably any of the events, 'cause money, but he was going to LOVE watching his peers try. Mostly fail. There was that. So the fourth year settled in and waited. And watched. |
Nigel felt more like watching the events happen. Than acutely participating in them. Food. Food is what he wanted now. He walked on over to the viewing area and spotted Ascanius there. Great all he want to do was eat and watch. Nigel walked on by him. Gave him the you are awesome nod and went to put the 5 sickles in the jar. Now what to eat. Nigel put one creepy cupcake on his plate and turned around to watch the The Glue-on-Goo and who would be "brave" enough to do it. Nigel was dressed way to nicely to participate. But will be fun to watch and laugh at. |
You know who you aaaare~ Dressed in all black. Daichi made his way to the event that the Prefects had set up. He felt horrible. Because he had been lacking with helping with this event but that was not all. He also felt horrible because he had dared Dylan for a duel. What on earth had possessed him to challenge HIM?! Running a hand through his hair, the Slytherin sat down at one of the tables with a worried expression. True, he had big talk against the Captain but to be honest he was actually very nervous. He kept biting his lower lip and trying to style his hair with his fingers. Two signs the Prefect always made whenever he was feeling nervous. Maybe he could cheat to win? ...no...no that wouldn't be fair and it would only make him a bigger loser. Giving the jar 5 sickles, he then grabbed cupcake and took a bite while deep in thought. And again, this place lacked ice cream! |
Quote:
Ooo, there was food and everything. Clearly the prefects went all out. Kirby was fan of good entertainment and she did not mind applauding for those who worked so hard to get it done for her. It was pretty spooky - not really keen on being there alone, she snagged a seat right away, next to a boy - not caring whoo it was. It was hard making out his face, in the dark - unless he would look directly at her. "Hello," so she said, curious to see his face. |
who? LOL! Quote:
She didn't know what will happen but she's really eager to find out what kind of activities are there. So she got dressed and quickly made her way outside. it was dark but she made her way pretty fine. Upon reaching the place. There were torches and other fancy stuff. Food was there and of course the paying booth. She took out 5 sickles and placed them into the jar and her hand quickly grabbed the cupcake. Taking a bite from it, she made her way inside. Whoah! What is going to happen? She's getting excited and anticipating a lot. Nearly bumping into someone, Juliet managed to see where she was walking towards. "Daichi!" her tone was gleeful, "I'm so excited with this. I'm liking this event." even though she barely stayed for 5 minutes. It's spooky but fun, who doesn't like that? She did eye him from head to toe. "What's up with the black outfit?" she nudge him. |
Hurrying out to the Fright Fest area, Asher was very excited to be involved in the event. He couldn't wait to try out some of the challenges and test his abilities. "Oh, food!" He exclaimed when he saw the various treats. Placing his money in the jar, Asher took some jello brains and a few creepy cupcakes. |
for anyone :3 Was she the first professor out here? Ivy glanced around and tried not to get run over by children as she looked around for anyone older than seventeen. No such luck just yet. Ivy took a look over at the suspicious food. It looked... suspicious. And gross. She supposed it went with the Fright Fest theme, but she wouldn't be having any. So... time to have fun? |
Anyone? ^__^ Fire torches. Cold. The very word 'fright' written everywhere. Dark. The WORSTESTEST combination ever. But still, because it was where it was at, Forrest decided to go. Such moments were rare, after all, and he was more curious than frightened. It was a prefect event, after all, no? Just what could happen?.. He shivered on the road and it wasn't only because of the cold weather, but he kept following the torches nevertheless and arrived at the... place. Event. Thing. Whatever. Before anything though, his eyes fell on FOOOOD and "Foooood!" he gasped as he started walking more quickly. Well okay they looked creepy, but they had to try harder to disgust him. So, without even glancing around, he fished 5 sickles and just threw it to the paying thing, and in about five seconds he was already holding that spider-shaped cupcake. Mhmm. "MHMMMM," he appreciated the taste after the first bite, eyes closed, and wondered whether he could stuff it into his mouth at once. |
Free to anyone. Sphallolalia; a flirtatious talk that leads nowhere. |
FORREST...*hugs*..."The Doctor" and Kaiden / Anyone. ;) The not-so-creepily (infact adorably) dressed Mika had added the five sickles into the container and looked around at everyone. She sent Forrest a BIG smile, because he looked a little nervous. Or scared, she couldn’t tell which but she was glad to see the little Hufflepuff there. She did smile when she heard him outwardly express his pleasure in whatever he was eating. Oh god…wa-was that a spider. Spiders weren’t food. Why were the cupcakes shaped like Spiders? Her eyes widened as she stood there and she made a slight gurgling noise of someone gulping back their fear. “No no no no no no no not cool” she muttered and shook her head as she glanced at the cupcake. “a-are they g-good…d-do they t-taste like spiders” she asked the fear causing her to ask. Seriously why would they make a spider-flavored cupcake? When she glanced up however she spotted Pie-boy...wearing. "THE DOCTOR?" she squeaked out and pointed. She was pointing. Pointing wasn't nice. Looking around and pretending she hadn't just yelled at Nash she just grabbed a spider cupcake and well...poked her fork into it. "Die spider...DIE! So I can eat you." GRIN she was going to eat her fear. And wait...was she shaking? |

Tapping his finger against the table, the Slytherin turned his gaze towards his shoulder when he felt a small push and his eyes then went to ...Juliet. A true , genuine smile became visible. She was about the only Slytherin that still talked to him. Well, there was also Sonea but she was twelve... He meant students around his age. "Hey Juliet, long time no see" apart from classes he hadn't really spoken to her. Oh? she liked the event. Good good. He didn't say he had been a slacker to help make this event though. Funny how he and Oakey had been the main source of the event and now ..nothing. "Yeah, they did a great job..i only miss the ice cream" he commented as he looked around. His black outfit? Daichi looked down at his clothes and blushed slightly. "I..well, i thought that..you know...since its called Fright Fest..and its dark..and...i don't know, do i look stupid?" Gaaaaah worries! |
I apologise for him lol Quote:
The Prefects were holding a Fright Fest event! Michael was so there! He was brave and The activities that he had read about sounded awesome but before participating in them, Mikey decided to grab some food first so that he could build up his energy, in order to get through all the obstacles. He spotted the table containing the food and made a beeline for it, but in his great haste to get some food, he barrelled straight into the person that was already standing there. |
anyone? :3 Yeah, this was pretty cool. Penelope actually kinda liked this. She wasn't sure how anyone found this scary or frightening She wasn't too thrilled about paying to eat, but she gave them their sickles, mostly just because Atticus had, without her even asking, sent her a bit of money to help out. Enough to pay for all this and get her into her common room quite a few times. Normally she would've refused to accept but...it was Atticus. So she grudgingly kept the coins instead of sending them back. With the five sickles paid, she looked over the available food. Hmm. What did she want, and how much? She'd noticed some of those stations had food at them, so she didn't want to have TOO much. Needed to save loads of room so she would be awesome at those stations, yeah? |
Rule number one: ALWAYS go in the direction of food. Cat knew there was food around somewhere and she had been determined to find it, even if that did mean looking for food over anything or anyone else. She was supposed to be 'meeting' Mo, but hopefully he would put that big Ravenclaw brain of his to work and know to find the food. Find the food, find the Cat. It was simple, really. One didn't exactly have to be a Ravenclaw to figure that out. Nope. |
Mo could find food in the dark with a blindfold. Legless, armless, and wounded. He would find food. It was nice that this food here was on a fancy table waiting for him, but he would have found it regardless. The harder thing to find was... certain people he'd hoped to run into by specifically telling them where he'd be and when. He shuffled along the table, giving the food longing looks before dropping 10 sickles into the jar. Just paying for himself and a friend was all. Speaking of... Mo shuffled in the direction of Cat and gave her a side eye. "I already paid for the food. You want to try out those muddy cup things?" |
Quote:
Noting the sign about paying for the food, Fina dropped 5 sickles into the specified bin, not convinced she even wanted anything, but it was all in support of Hogwarts, wasn't it? That was when she noticed a familiar fourth year Gryffindor standing there, gawking or surveying or ... something. "You know, you shouldn't gawk. People might think you're . . . . up to . . . . . . . . . . something." She was just looking out for the girl's well-being, honestly. |
Quote:
She eyed said mud cup things and shrugged. "I think they'd be more interesting if the worms were moving." See, maybe someone should have asked her for ideas, she was FULL of them. No, but really, this was all pretty cool. "What do you think the 'mud' is anyway?" She was pondering this when she spotted cupcakes. SCOOOOOOOOOOOOOREEEE. With a gasp, she tugged on his arm and pointed. "Look, look! Cupcakes with EYES." WIN. |

Quote:
Cat didn't seem interested in the pudding, though, so Mo left the little dirt cups there and moved on to cupcakes. That was... fitting, wasn't it? "Cupcakes are sort of your theme food now, aren't they?" And he retrieved one for both of them as he examined the games stretching off into the dark. "You suppose you want to do any of those activity things?" |
Quote:
She managed to restrain herself from making grabby hands at the cupcakes. She lifted her eyes to him after she had cupcake safely in her hands. "I think so, yep. I like all forms of cake, but cupcakes are my favorite." She grinned for reasons before looking off towards everything else. "I'm not quite sure what there is, actually. Food was the number one priority." |
Quote:
After he'd chewed and swallowed, Mo wiped his mouth with his sleeve and pointed to one of the darker patches on the grounds. "We could just stand around and watch other people have fun, I guess. It's funny to do Halloween-type stuff in March, isn't it?" |
Quote:
"You don't want to stand around and watch." There were certain times when that was the better idea, mostly when someone was doing something dangerous or just really really stupid, but this wasn't such an occasion. "Alice said she's at some thing and requested a cupcake, so maybe we can start there?" |
Quote:
Wait, someone was talking right beside her...and to her? She looked over and only saw Professor Hadley. And she thought she was...up to something...? "I am up to something," the Gryffindor replied with a nod. "Figuring out how much I want to eat before trying those game things." It was a very important decision, it was. "Are you up to something, Professor?" |
Quote:
Mo retrieved a cupcake and wrapped a napkin around it. Alice's cupcake. "I'm not sure... would it be messy, d'you think?" And now he sounded kind of lame with his inability to get messy PLUS he was holding a cupcake. It was not his day. |
Quote:
Die? Who was dying? Dying was NO good. PLEASE STOP TALKING ABOUT DYING! A spider? "YOU DO NOT UNDER ANY EVENT SCREAM DIE IN PUBLIC!" That was that, though he was joking, it was a joking tone and manner. Gross, eating a spider? Real or edible form is just nasty. |
Quote:
As he grew lost in his thoughts about things, he heard someone slip into the seat beside him and Ascanius sat up just slightly. Not much though, he had to keep this whole thing going, yeah? Turning his head to the side, the boy smirked over at his companion and easily remarked, "Hello yourself, beautiful." He put his hand out to shake hers as was customary, "I'm Ascanius." Once he said his name, the boy turned his attention back to the events. Could they START now, yeah? |
Kaiden and the Doctor and you know who you are ;) SPOILER!!: Kaiden & The Doctor Mika blushed when she felt Kaiden’s hand press into her shoulder. She only knew it was him because he had spoken. She was blushing but still managed to choke out a ”Hey” she smiled softly and then she heard an accent… Oh hey. It was Nash – and he was dressed as the doctor, she just BEAMED at him. The tiny blonde just beamed at him. ”I did nothing” she blinked and beamed again laughing somewhat. Yep, she was in a friendly mood, even if she could feel the tension building (possibly just within her). ”hows it going tall person?” she asked tipping her head up to look at him. Even if he was shorter than her brother wait, did he just yell? She gasped, laughed, and shrugged. The spider wasn’t alive so it couldn’t die. She was still shaking when she glanced up at Nash and pointed at it. ”Its just creepy…too creepy, you g-guys want to maybe sneak down to the kitchens and eat pie afterwards?” she asked well aware that the two didn’t exactly see eye to eye sometimes. Still, she wasn’t meaning anything by it, not really. She wasn’t meaning to look like a flirt or anything. But she just wanted to try the spider’s frosting. Dipping her finger into the fudge icing and getting a rather large glob of it on her finger she lifted it up to her mouth and a tentatively licked it. Then, stuck the entire glob in her mouth. ”its good…its chocolate,” she beamed as she took another swipe of the frosting and ate it. Finnlay was excited to see this fund raiser having heard about it from his mother when he visited. She couldn’t manage to go and wanted someone to check up on Mika – you know, after hearing about her setting off fireworks thing. Which wasn’t bad – at least she didn’t set a fountain on fire, right? He had told the girl he had met at the menagerie about it and said he’d like to go with her – since she knew the school more than him. Yeah that was it. Wasn’t anything to do with the fact that she seemed nice and liked dogs or anything? He dropped not five but ten into the jar for the food. Yep, he was paying for this other girl – he had invited her to go. It didn’t matter if they were going as friends (or not) he was chivalrous. SMILING Finn looked around the room not only for Emmaleigh but for his sister and gasped when he saw her. What was she doing? Was she? Did she just. "Amelia Kaikoura Johanson, what are you doing Mika?" he gasped a little too loudly (when he felt like snapping), but he didn't he just stalked slowly closer. Eying the boys his sister was talking to. Someone was going to get themselves shoved in a trunk and taken home with him to be talked to by dad...he thought frowning - though, really, he liked the other kid. He didn't know about the taller one. He just stood there, staring, like a creepy stalker in the corner. And no, he wasn't a stalker. He was just sitting there, eying his sister eating a cupcake in exactly the way no brother wants to see his sister eat a cupcake. |
uh ohhhhh xD Quote:
THUD. Out of nowhere, Ivy felt a sudden, somewhat small, but quite forceful impact on her side. That mixed with a bit of tripping over her own feet (wearing boots with heels was a bad idea but it TOTALLY WASN'T HER FAULT) resulted in the professor falling flat on her bum onto the muddy grass. "Ruddy children!" she shouted with a little bit of a flail of her limbs, quite possibly smacking one of them into the darn kid that knocked her over. |
For anyone ^_^ (mention of Mika, Mo, Penelope and Prof. Hadley...) Kendall wasn’t scared. At least, she was determined not to show it if she was, just as she was determined to resolutely keep her hair its normal pink-streaked auburn. If that stayed normal, then she had control over everything else. The pathway was heading awfully close to the forest, though, and all that was making her think about was the acromantulas that she knew just had to be hiding in there waiting to come after her like that one from before in the Arithmancy maze years ago. She kept telling herself that she was safe, and she had Patrick’s Batman hoodie to help comfort her too. No acromantulas would invade the prefect event, and nothing at the event would be half as unnerving as the spider-y creatures. She could handle whatever was planned, and in a way, the path was very cool. It set the creepy mood, anyway, and she grinned as it had all opened up into a big area with food and seats and other stuff. She hadn’t quite decided if she was going to try any of the obstacle course things yet, but at least she could watch. With the chocolate that was stashed in her hoodie pockets. She wasn’t going to completely avoid checking out the food that had been provided, though. She didn’t want to be rude to Beezus and the other prefects, who had probably put a lot of thought into the provisions. Therefore, heading over to the buffet tables, she’d noted Mo talking to a girl she hadn’t met yet, and Mika talking to two boys with an older one not-so-subtly eyeing her as well, almost like she used to imagine Jeremiah did to her when she’d first invited Patrick to Galway. All those suspicions were long past by now. She wondered if her boyfriend was going to make his way out here, anyway, but for now she was on her own and getting ready to find something to munch while she watched the other events. Except she was staying away from the spider cupcakes. Those reminded her too much of baby acromantulas to want to eat them. She leaned over to drop five sickles into the pay station, however, scooping up one of the little wormy mud cups as she reached around Penelope, Professor Hadley and a couple others. “’Scuse me,” she said, giving them a grin. It was still an awesome event, even if there were scary spider cupcakes. |
Teehee Quote:
"I'M SO SOR -" The rest of Michael's words were cut off due to the fact that he had just been smacked straight in the gut by a very powerful foot with a killer heel. He sunk to his knees on the muddy grass beside the Professor clutching at his stomach. Well it cured his hunger pains that's for sure. Michael looked at who he had run into and suppressed the groan that was threatening to come out of his mouth. Of all the Professor's.... "Sorry Professor Knox, I didn't see you there." He got back to his feet and held his hand out to her. "You're just so tiny." Of course she was bigger than he was, but his dad always told him that women loved flattery and to always use it to get out of trouble. |
Quote:
"As-kay-nius", she pronounced. "Am I saying it right?" she asked - it was an unusual name after all. She had not heard it before. "I am Kirby Darling." She introduced herself, taking his hand to shake. Letting it go, she turned to look ahead too. "You are not participating?" she asked. |

Ice cream? Juliet's eyes immediately scanned for the ice cream that he is talking about. "There WAS ice cream?" her eyes widened and her lips pouted.... and she missed it? sort of? do i look stupid? Juliet immediately shook her head, disagreeing to that. "No not at all." she smiled as she took a seat next to the Slytherin Prefect. "I know the theme is scary but I never imagined you in a black dashing suit" she complimented, it's true, the suit is rather dashing. "It suits you, you look nice in it" she added. |
Dav and Yke! He was excited. Because he wanted to see his sister's school. Mike, his hands shoved into his pockets, entered walking next to Tyler as Emilie was on the OTHER side of Ty. They were going to be civil though. It was fun time. He wasn't surprised that he had paid. Because he knew from his sister that the school was broke. Poor them. Also, he had lent Cassia a lot of money. Oh he was getting it all back. When he needs. It was all about timing The twelve-year old boy was smiling not too wide as his eyes found the obstacles area further away. Not cool to look like a little kid super excited and all. Pfffft. He wasn't that fascinated. "Let's take a seat first, shall we?" He suggested brightly glancing at Ty then his eyes trailed to Em but back to Ty again. He took a couple of steps closer to the tables searching the faces. Maybe he'd find his sister here? He had told her late that he'd come. Because they decided late. "I'm not sure I want to try their food," He commented randomly eyeing the buffet. |
Quote:
He entered this Fright fest thing not entirely surprised that they'd have to pay to enter...he heard a lot about the woes. The fifth year shook his head and smirked as his eyes roamed the faces. Since he was already here..it wouldn't be too bad running into Blue either. He ignored Emilie complaining next to him and instead focused on Mikey."Errr yeah..let's sit" He'd just continue to come the faces. |

"Always," Fina said simply, a small twinkle in her eye. "Always." Quote:

SPOILER!!: Mikey and Tyler Really? Out of all the places they could go Tyler had chosen Hogwarts? Everyone knew about Hogwarts and it's money problems. To top it all of it was some lame fundraiser, as if Emilie actually wanted to help pay for this pigsty. Tyler had the worst ideas ever, bringing Mikey along to this was another one. She shook her head in disapproval, once she got back to Durmstrang she would tell Piper all about how horrible this place looked. 'What's that smell?' She turned up her nose, maybe her money would go towards air fresheners, that wouldn't be too bad. She looked down at Mikey and almost smiled when he mentioned trying their food. After checking out the food Emilie decided that Mikey was right, the food might be hazardous. Just another story to add to Hogwarts' reputation. The fifth year snorted, 'they'll probably make you pay extra if you want decent food.' |
Text Cut: Ty and Em Was that a smile for Emilie? Oh it was an attempt. He wasn't going to get his hopes up. It wasn't likely that the older girl was going to forget the fight, especially not in here when she was dragged by Tyler, and was obviously, already regretting coming. Though, Tyler seemed to be interpolating the atmosphere more. Probably, because his mother teaches here and all. As the group of three walked, the second-year plopped in a chair in which the table had a good view of the obstacle area. He grinned up at the two, He was here for fun, okay. "I say we try that Pie surprise thing? I like pies. You two d too." He decided for them. "Then we'll see where our feet will take us?" He then waved his hand in front of Tyler's face, "Hey dude, are you here?" Because the older boy was kinda busy looking around. Was he looking for someone? His mother perhaps? "So you guys are ok with that right?" It was a rhetorical question. He wasn't taking no for an answer. Though, he too now was looking around. Where was his sister? Would he be able to see her. Or worse. See that Lex friend of hers. |
Mikey and Em and hello Professor Hadley Tyler knew that woman. Yes he'd never forget going to her office after the disappointment of being sorted into HufflePuff. She'd went on about sunshine and rainbows and bunnies or something like that but all in all he supposed she helped him to feel better about being stuck in that house for a whole year. Would she remember him though? He'd go up to her in a sec. "What's what smell?" Tyler turned up his nose as well and sniffed. "It's just their food...it normally smells like that." He shrugged and shifted uncomfortably. "Guys lay off..mum teaches here." And he was slipping into protective mode just for that reason. Though not to get him wrong...Hogwarts was still no Durmstrang. He had to agree with Emilie though, they probably would have to pay more to get decent food. "I have money we can go into Hogsmeade after this thing ends." Tyler swatted Mikey's hand away. "I'm here I'm here..I'm just looking around to see...if I see anyone I know." He plopped into the seat. "And what exactly is this pie thing? Do we have to eat it?" Maybe they should get closer... |
Mikey, Tyler, Emilie. Apologies for her.. :\ Ew... ick.... Piper felt like such a muggle hobo dressed this way. But copying, Emilie, she decided to try and blend in with her surroundings. She followed behind the Durmstrangers silently, knowing full well Tyler wouldn't be happy about her presence there. He had already made his feelings clear. She didn't care. In fact, knowing Piper, she was probably here purely to annoy him. Nose in the air, hair flip. Piper Maxwell was free to do what SHE wanted. And... it would be interesting to see how the lower classes lived would it not? Emile was right though, there was a funny smell in the air. She wrinkled her nose as she caught up to the Durmstrangers, making her presence known for the first time. Pies? Mikey was such a child. “Surely there's better things to be doing than eating pie.” She muttered to the three. And what a load of rubbish! Piper could guess exactly why Tyler was here. "He's looking for his mother." She smiled smugly, giving him a look as she twirled a lock of hair between her fingers. |
Text Cut: the other peeps Emilie raised an eyebrow when she noticed Piper following them, looking rather... unusual. 'You look like a boy,' she smirked, this time Emilie was the one who could use that. Where did she even get the clothes..? She almost felt the need to hug her best friend. At least she wouldn't have to suffer by herself. 'Why are you here?' Pie...? Emilie did not like pie, apple pie being the exception. Or games that somehow involved pie. It would probably end up being some catastrophe, knowing Hogwarts. But Mikey seemed really eager... She frowned, not that she cared about what he wanted. 'Why don't you go do that pie thing and we'll watch you make a fool out of the Hogwarts kids?' That sounded better, whatever it was Durmstrang could probably do it better. Finally, Tyler had a good idea. Hogsmeade was okay, it was nice. |
Text Cut: Y'all! durmstrang peeps! Mike hadn't noticed Piper with them. Mind you he had been to busy looking around and trying to get a better look at the challenges area. Which was FAR away. Though he didn't comment when he saw her. You'd think Emilie was enough of a killjoy. But NO! Dude, how he wished Jeremiah and Byron were here. They'd have had lots of fun! But he had to be with the fifth-years. Hmph. "Well, there's a Cockroach race," He offered to Piper with an oblivious smile. "You should try it," He was going to be glared at big time after this suggestion. Then back to Emilie, "You come too. You're good at making fool out of people, giraffe." He suggested. "Come on, let's have fun." He said desperately. Did they come here to complain about the smell. Cover your noses or something. -__- The second-year turned to Tyler his last hope. "Ty, talk with them. Are we here to just sit around," He said pointing at both girls. Tyler would know how to talk them into it....Hopefully? "Let's all go play something. You choose." Now he just sounded pathetic. Then he pushed back his seat and hopped ON IT. He wanted to have a better look. Like a couple of minutes later he hopped off the chair and sat. "I saw four stations. Couldn't read the signs very well, but one says something about Cockroaches," He glanced at Piper. "One about Bertie Bott's. And the pie thingy I spotted earlier," The fourth he couldn't decipher. Then he turned his gaze to the three older ones, looking at them with shimmering eyes. |
The kill joys and Mikey Tyler did smell something but it was really just the crappy food. Emilie was being dramatic as per usual. He was soo tempted to just roll his eyes at her and walk away or flick her ear. He could do that. But that would probably start a fight and they couldn't possible start a fight here at another school and bring their own institution into disrepute. He settled wiht just shaking his head at her. Tyler's head snapped back as a familiar voice resounded in his ear. Piper... He hadn't noticed that she'd come along..maybe because he hadn't expected her to. He frowned deeply and buried his hands into the pockets of his pants. He turned to Mikey."That would be a waste of time. C'mon we'll go see what that cockroach thing is all about. Maybe we'll actually win something if we kick their butts." He then lowered his voice.." And if there are real cockroaches we'll take two back as gifts for the girls." He gave the younger boy a wink and walked off. |
For Mika a little Forrest didn't really hear Amelia calling for him--he was that into eating the spider--but after she went hysterics, it was impossible to ignore her. So, after stuffing the last piece of spider into his mouth greedily,he turned to her but she was already talking to someone else. Shrug. He smiled at her nevertheless not to be rude, and then surveyed the other cupcakes as if he hadn't just eaten one. They all looked amazing to him, but he was also curious about the games too, so... better to come here later? Yeah. With a longing look at the cupcakes, he headed towards the games. |
SPOILER!!: The Durmstrangers <3 Why was she here? What sort of a greeting was that from her best friend? “You people are very unobservant. I followed you all the way here. I could've stolen your wallets and you would have been non the wiser.” *wink* And to answer Emilie's question. “I fancied a trip out. Durmstrang can make one horribly stir crazy.” She turned her attention to Mikey, an eyebrow raising at his terrible suggestion. Was he suggesting SHE was a cockroach? “I don't like bugs.” She replied with a disgusted expression on her face. “But the Bertie Botts thing sounds interesting." Cockroaches, pie or jelly beans. The latter really was the most appealing. She smiled at Mikey's words to Emilie and no doubt the girl would take it as a compliment. It was a good job they had Mikey with them. Ironic that the second year was keeping the group organised. Piper gave the boy a smile and nodded. “Come on then. Lets go and have a look around.” No one, not even Queen Piper, could say no to that face. Well wasn't that a nice greeting? Piper's smile faded and she just looked at Tyler as he did nothing but FROWN at her. She was hurt, but determined not to allow it to show. As he walked off, she was tempted to run after him, but she remained with Emilie, linking arms with her and walking after the boys. |
Anyone? :D Ooooooh Fright Fest!?!? YES. Kace was so gonna compete in some races and even eat some of the delicious sweets and foods. He was sitting in the area and viewing the event from a birds eye view. He was itching to go down there but the food was even more tempting. He got the cupcakes and the brains to eat. He loved the jello. It tasted really good. He was smiling and was preparing to go and do the other events once he was done eating. |
And anyone else? ^_^ Quote:
Secretly wishing he had brought a coat along with him, Alec headed down to the event as quickly as he could. It sort of amused him how spooky everything seemed to be. It was as if the cold and the fire torches were just the icing on the cake that was this event. And this made the boy more excited than scared. A LOT more excited! Upon reaching the area, the boy GRINNED WIDELY, taking a moment to look around. The Prefects had really outdone themselves this time around, hadn't they? And hey, was that FOOD? He was ALWAYS up for some of that! He grinned some more before heading over towards there and... STARE. Chuckle. Spooky food was spooky! KACE! "Hey there, dude! Spooked out, yet?" GRIN. Also, he was just... going to sit down with him, yeah? |
Quote:
Mostly right, he noted. Just a little off, so he corrected with wink when he was done, "Ah-Sk-A-Knee-Us." But she was close and that was what counted. The fourth year really detested when people butchered his name. Annoying, yeah? So people needed to knock that off in general. Shaking her hand, he let go of her hand and went back to leaning into his chair, "It's a pleasure, beautiful." Kirby. Interesting name herself. Did she know that? Pfft, yeah, 'course she did. Was her name after all. "Nope," he shrugged. In fact, he was loitering. It was kind of his thing, yeah? |
Awarlesta scanned through the incoming crowds, popping a lollipop into her mouth. It maybe had been 15 minutes since she arrived, but she was eager to see her older brother. She nearly jumped into space when she recognized a familiar confused face and took off towards him. Manolo almost fell back when his sister collided with his torso. He embraced her tightly, more than happy to see that his sister seemed to miss him as much as he missed her. The 21 year-old ruffled his younger sister's hair and handed her some money, "Here, so you can go crazy on the games." He could hardly believe she was turning 14 next month. Awar smiled big and took the money from her brother, but from right out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a familiar youngster. "Hey, Kace!" She grabbed Manolo's hand and tugged him towards her friend's little brother. |
SPOILER!!: Awar!<3<3 As Kace paid 5 sickles for the food he was eating, he heard someone call his name. He turned around and noticed Awarlesta? Yeah it was her! He knew her face anywhere, she said Hi to him. Kace nodded since he mouth was full of food. "Hi Awarlesta! How are you?" he asked wiping his hands on his napkin. He didn't wanna hug her with sticky fingers. Kace got up and hugged her tightly. He missed seeing her. SPOILER!!: Alec <3 :3! After he hugged Awarlesta, he noticed Alec coming over. Kace BEAMED when he saw his teammate coming over to say hi. Kace smiled when he asked the question. "Yeah i am totally spooked out.." he said sarcastically with a wink. "I have seen scarier back in my town, well actually i do not see a haunted house yet. Once i see one i will then be spooked! How about you dude?" he asked giving him a fist bump as a greeting. He even saw he had food with him. AWESOME. At least he wont look like a pig eating all this food. "I see you are enjoying the food as well." as he took a bite of his brain of jello. |
SPOILER!!: Kace Cutie! Aww, she caught him with a mouth full of food. How adorable! She embraced him and softly pinched his cheeks, "Hey there, Kace! I'm doing swell! Even better now that my brother is here!" She gestured to the man behind her, "Kace, this is my older brother, Manolo. Manolo, this is Kace. He's one of my good friends." Manolo smiled and waved to the little...mmm maybe first year?...well his was small for sure. "Pleasure to meet you, little dude." Awar waved to an arriving Alec, waiting for him to finish his bromance with Kace before wanting some affection too. |

After Mo got a cupcake for Alice, she guessed that they should set off. "I'm not really sure where she is so we might have to look around." And since they were going to be wandering around in the crowd, she slipped her hand into his and gave him a tug forward. "Come along, Branxton." |
Quote:
It felt like a big deal. "I say we try... that direction," Mo pointed toward the darkish spot and let himself be tugged by Cat. "Is my tongue still green?" He showed it to her. |
SPOILER!!: The Amazing Awarlesta! Kace felt her pinch his cheeks. He would let that slide for now. He didn't know how people would handle his cuteness but he would tell her eventually her preferred hair ruffling to cheek pinching. Especially with food in his mouth. Well that was great that Awar was doing well. He smiled to him, his name was Manolo. That was an interesting name. Kace nodded towards him and held out his hand, "Nice to meet you too dude. By the way i will say this name, your name is pretty interesting. I never heard of it before." he just wanted to get that out of the way. "You guys liking fright fest so far? I heard they have many games out and eating contests." |
Text Cut: Miks and Finn Finn, and NASH, but not quoting Kaiden couldn’t help but smile at Mika tonight. She was awfully pretty and all that. “I er, like your shoes.” He said, noticing the mismatched pair that she was wearing. ”so umm, what are we doin…” Er, why was HE here? The fourth year bit the inside of his cheek when he noticed Stupid-face’s face. No, he wouldn’t start another fight here. He had better sense than that. The last one had been pretty bad… only because Wade had held him still. That, and the whole team got angry with him. No, he would just think things about him, and wish for him to go away. That was, until she said they should all go get pie together. “No.” he said reaching for her hand, and holding it in his. He would not be eating pie, not at all. The whole finger licking thing didn’t really have an affect on him. She was just eating chocolate, and it looked good. Like, he wanted to try it, noooot anything else. Reaching out, he attempted to swipe some icing off of it, but since he hadn’t paid, it seed that he was unable to get any. ”Fine. he said frowning, and took the girl’s finger, from the hand he was holding, not the soggy one in her mouth, and used it to scoop up some icing. Grinning at his success, he then proceeded to lick the icing off. ”it is good.” he nodded in agreement. “you know… I’m surprised you’re eating that.” The spider, because it was a spider and all. Right, so Emmaleigh was back at Hogwarts once more, not that she was too happy about that. The last two times she had been here had been rather horrible. From the Quidditch match at the end of last term where the people that had said she could sit with them, didn’t even save her a seat. And where she had to see him, and everything. And then there was that Facualty Quidditch Match thing she had tried to attend this term and had gotten completely rejected by those stupid turnstile things. She was still mad about that by the way, very mad… She just hadn’t written an angry letter to the Quiddich Official because she was Max’s mom, and she had already done enough damage there. But she was determined to have fun tonight. She had a new potential friend person who didn’t think she was completely mental yet, and she was going to accompany him to spy on his sister or something. She had only agreed to go because someone had to show him around a bit right? And because it would be nice to have a new friend, after everything. At least that’s what she would tell anyone if they asked. Because it had nothing to do with the fact that he was a crupp breeder, or kind of, you know, nice to look at. Giving a slight tug on her sleeves, she looked around the entrance area until she spotted him staring at some kids. “Is everything alright?” she asked walking up to him. |
Quote:
"Obviously," she grumbled at the child, swatting his hand away when he offered it to her. SHE was tiny? She was a full grown adult! How did HE expect to help her off the ground. Ivy stood up by herself, her eyebrows pressed together with the rest of her face in a scowl. "I am not tiny," she replied, whipping out her wand... ... to clean off her rear end. It might have looked threatening for a moment, though. Unintentional, |

Okaaaaaaaaaay. So apparently flattery wasn't going to work on this Professor. Either he wasn't very good at it or good old Knoxy was made of stone. Mikey was gonna go with the latter. He shoved the hand that he had been holding out to her into his pocket and did his best not to pull faces while she grumbled about how big she was. And while he noticed the wand movement, Michael didn't flinch. She wouldn't dare! He should have invited his parents to this event. He would have liked to have seen his mother and Knox go toe to toe with each other. But unfortunately he didn't and so he was going to have to try a different tact with the woman. "Aww come on Professor, this is supposed to be a fun event." Did she even know how to have fun? "I said I was sorry." What more dd she want? "Would you like me to get you some food?" You know to make up for running into her. |

He wanted to HUG her for doing that~ Why? because mostly people placed their hands on his head and ruffled his hair , so that he was forced to style it all over again and he always woke up earlier to style his hair. But she placed her hand on his shoulder! WOOHOO~ Of course, he did not hug her but a grin was visible on his face. Busy....right. Well, it kind of was the truth right? He HAD been busy this term. REALLY busy in fact. Just not with the things he suspected what Juliet was thinking. Prefect stuff, studying and all that. He was pretty sure she meant that. But no, the Slytherin had been more busy trying to make the world a better place with the help of ice cream and happiness and whatnot. Yes, that had been his mission this term. And as of lately , trying to find a way how to win a duel... At the mention of ice cream he grinned however. DID JULIET LIKE ICE CREAM AS WELL?! 'cause of the way she was looking around? "Don't think it was here in the first place but i reaaaally want some" he said. And then came the compliment. The Slytherin blushed a deep dark shade of red and scratched the back of his neck again. "Ah...t-thanks Juliet" thiswasembarrassiiiiing. Wait, he should compliment her too right? "You look good too" GOOD TOO?! "I mean, you look wonderful" okay that sounded too weird. "no not wonderful , great!" THAT WAS EVEN WORSE! "I have no idea what i have to say..." Hoping that the other Slytherin wouldn't mind because he KNEW how girls could get when it came to clothes he quickly tried to change the subject. "Hey, can i ask you something?" he asked and without waiting for a yes or no he continued. "Do you...do you think i can win a duel?..." He asked this with a nervous tone in his voice. |
for Nessie ^^ but hello to anyone else who wants to play She had promised a few friends that she would be here, so Kurumi had managed to pull herself together enough to get dressed and leave the flat for the evening. Studying for finals, writing her thesis, Lewis, living near Selina and Vivi, everything had been an at least semi decent distraction to...what else had been going on. Loss was never something that was easy to handle and the almost university graduate had been dealing with an onslaught of them for what seemed like forever now. But things were better. They were getting better. She had left Lewis back at their flat because he had an alchemy study group coming over, which she baked snacks for, and had now arrived at the prefect event. Really though? Did it have to be scary things? Maybe as long as there were no spiders or chocolate frogs near her she would be alright. After giving a small donation - because she would not be participating in any of the events but still wanted to give back - Kurumi made her way towards the seating area on the lookout for some specific people. |

Alec let out a chuckle at Kace's words before reaching over and ruffling the boy's hair. "Really? So this is nothing compared to things back at home?" he asked, holding up a hand to gesture at nothing in particular. What kind of scary town did Kace live in? "Oh! I haven't seen a haunted house either, actually. But... I've seen the Shrieking Shack from far so... does that count?" Food? That was ALWAYS a good topic to talk about! "Yeah, it looks really tasty!" Fingers and all. "You enjoying the brain?" GRIN. Quote:
"Awar-bear!" he called out, grinning and opening his arms out wide. Because he wanted to give her a bear hug and see, they were bears together, yeah? "Long time no see, stranger! Everything okay in your world?" Also, how long had she been standing here? BLINK. And... oh? Who... was the older dude? Did Awar have a bodyguard or...? "Hey there!" Awkward. "Erm... you want some brains?" he asked, indicating to the jelly!brain that was on Alec's plate. |
Text Cut: Kace Kutie The older brother shook the young puff's hand, "Thanks, yours is interesting too. My name's Spanish." Awar butted in, "Our mother and grandparents are from Spain." Grin. "I'm really excited to play some games. My brother just gave me money to play all of them!" She looked up at Manolo and giggled at the gleam in his eye at the sound of food. Text Cut: Alec Bear She ran into his arms and embraced him tightly. Hugs are so awesome. They really are. "Everything is a-ok!" She signaled with her hands, "What's going on in your world?" Manolo was thrown aback with this other Puff. Who was this boy calling his sister cute names and giving her loving hugs?? Glare. "Hey..." His eyes widened. He has found his weakness. Food. He eyed the plate, contemplating whether it was okay or not to take food from a younger person. "No, thanks. I'll get some on my own." Awar was feeling like Manolo was catching the wrong idea of something, so she stepped closer to Alec, "This is Alec. He's like my older brother away from home. Alec, this my actual brother, Manolo." His protective older brother bravado disappeared and a giant grin replaced it. OHHHHHHHH. Good, good. He extended his hand, "Nice to meet you, dude. Thanks for taking care of my little sister. Just don't steal her away." Cool Bro wink. |
SPOILER!!: Alec :D <3 Kace looked around and pondered about Alec's question for a bit. Was this festival comparable to home. Note even close but he wasn't gonna tell Alec that. Every place had its own way of celebrating. "This is nothing compared to back home but it is adorable and i appreciate what the prefects did." Kace smiled earnestly to Alec. He wanted to give the Prefects a lot of credit. Plus he never been to a magical festival before so maybe he was TOO critical. "But this is my first magical festival though so i wont go SO critical on it." he told Alec. Wait a minute they had something called the Shrieking Shack? He NEVER heard of it. "Wait what is the shreiking shack?" Kace asked Alec hoping he wasn't too lame for asking. Alec asked if he was enjoying the brain. Kace took a bite and nodded with jello coming out of his mouth. It looked quite cute as a matter of fact. SPOILER!!: Awar! Oooooh so his name was a Spanish name! Now THAT made sense. Kace felt kind of stupid not figuring it out. "I think mine is Irish actually." Kace said squinting one eye in trying to remember. Even there grandparents and mother were from spain! Now the pieces of the puzzle were coming to together! Kace heard Awar got money to play some games and he smiled. "What games do you wanna play?" he asked curiously. |
Marigold walked into the seating area. It was so pretty! Or she thought. OOOOH, KACE "Kace! Hi! she waved frantically, almost falling over. Whoops. |
SPOILER!!: Marigold :D! Once Kace was done talking to Alec and Awarlesta, he noticed Marigold walking over. Kace smiled and his heart raced a bit. His palms got a bit sweaty and he shook off his nerves. He smiled and chuckled when she almost fell over. Kace ran over to her and helped her up. "Hey Mairgold! Uh...you alright??" he asked kindly. He wasn't gonna make a scene and embarrass her. |
Quote:
"Thanks," she said. "How are you?" She looked around at the decorations. "This seems fun. Have you done anything yet? Maybe we could do a race or something!" Marigold looked around. Was there ice cream anywhere? |
Quote:
She asked if he had done anything yet. "Nope i haven't done anything yet, i was just getting my energy to use for the races. Of course we can do some races! I would love that!" Then he noticed her looking around at nothing. "What are you looking for?" he asked to Marigold. |
SPOILER!!: Kace Cutie <3 Manolo nodded understandingly, "I've always wanted to go to Ireland. Do you have ancestors in Ireland or was the name just cool enough to be given to you?" Awar looked around at the awesome game obstacles, "I think I want to play all of them! Promise you'll play at least one with me?" He was a Lecium of course he'll keep a promise. |
SPOILER!!: Awar and her brother! :3 Kace shrugged. "I wouldn't mind going to Ireland actually. I do not know if i have ancestors in Ireland either. I will ask my parents when i go back home next. I think my mom and dad thought it was cool to give it to me." he smiled to Manolo. Kace nodded kindly. "Oh of course i will play one with you. Which one you wanna start with first?" |

Ivy gave the child a look and brushed off her sleeve again to make sure ALL the dirt was off. True, this was supposed to be a fun event. She sighed. "Fine. Apology accepted." He was only a first year, after all... Merlin's beard, was she having... sympathy? Ugh. How weird and gross and strange and weird. Ivy mentally shook herself. "No. I only eat organic food," Ivy huffed. And she was quite certain those mud cups were not organic mud. |
Quote:
Phew! For a minute there, Michael thought that he was going to end up in detention. Not that he would have cared, but he didn't think a detention with Professor Knox would have been very pleasant. He flashed the woman a BIG TOOTHY GRIN. "Oh so you're a health nut too. My dad only eats healthy food as well." Something he insisted that his son do also. And while Michael was pretty good at eating properly, he never said no to something sweet or fatty."He says my insides would thank me for it later. Not really sure what that means, but he's my dad..." Mikey shrugged his shoulders. Parents always thought they knew best. "Well...er...if I can't get you anything then I guess I'll join the festivities." Unless she wanted him to stay and talk to her. |
a bit of Forrest / Kaid / Emm Quote:
So she made a point to send Forrest a smile. "You know, the spider is so good, I'm glad I saw you eating it Forrest - have a nice Fright Fest" she beamed at him and waaaaved before he headed to the games and she turned her attention back to Kaiden and Nash. Quote:
She was a claw, she prepared herself for being scared today – but not scared with company. She did kind of jump at the way he had said no…okay apparently she wouldn’t eat pie with Kaiden and Nash…but Nash was the school’s pie-guy. He made good pie. And she did want to try it. Before she could think what was happening he was taking her hand and holding it, but not really holding it. He was moving it, and pressing it into the icing of her cupcake. And licking it…what? Did he really just eat icing off of her finger? And from her cupcake. ”oh, okay…so no pie then” she frowned, mouthed Sorry to Nash and smiled again. And then she shuddered again. ”I can’t believe I’m eating it to be honest,” she admitted as she took her finger and stared at it. Frosting on it. Kind of gross…sure she’d kissed the guy but she wasn’t about to clean it off. Instead what she did was grab a bit of tablecloth (it might have been the back of a passerby’s shirt she didn’t know) and whipped off the spit on it. Much better. ”um…Kaiden, you want to play a game with me?” she asked beaming, “Nash you can join too…but er…I kind of want to try the goo-game…and you know, I don’t know if you would like being tied to Kaiden and I…and I know I wouldn’t want to be caught between a fight. Because I would not let the two of you stand next to each other if my life depended on it.” she admitted sheepishly and smiled, an awkward smile…but she wasn’t going to be rude and not invite the guy standing next to her. Even if she knew things between him and her best mate were troubled at best. Looking down at the mangled cupcake she just whimpered. Even though she had been eating it – the likeness was too great for her own comfort. Turning her head away and tucking it against her friend’s shoulder she just stood there, sort of half hugging him. Her eyes widening as she saw who was there, standing with a somewhat familiar redhead. “Oh merlin Kaiden…I was going to give you a…um, cheek kiss” she whispered into his ear, “b-but lets wait…because my brother is here….with some former Hufflepuff girl that I never actually met” she whispered out quickly before casually hugging him in a way that made it so she could drop a quick kiss on his cheek. A simple one her brother wouldn't notice. It just looked like a big hug. Okay, this girl probably thought he was insane. Because he was just standing there staring at some blond girl and her friends like he knew them – which he did…but it wasn’t like Emmaleigh knew this. He chuckled and ruffled his hair a bit as he looked over at her and smiled. She was cute, and really the eerie lighting worked well with her hair color. But he wouldn’t say that right yet – you look pretty in creepy lighting was something that he imagined the creepy killers of the world used as creep-up lines. He did ruffle his hair some more and shrug glancing back at his sister – who was wide-eyed glancing at him now. Oh so she had seen him…in a move to not be a creep he waved to her and smiled at Emmaleigh. ”Its my sister,” he admitted with a broad smile, and a slight laugh. ”apparently her friend hadn’t paid for the food and well…he licked her finger…just threw me for a loop” he admitted with a laugh. Chuckling some more he turned to Emmaleigh and smiled. ”Fancy running into you here,” he chuckled and smiled to her. A bright twinkle to his eye as he laughed a bit ”so I must ask when you were here at Hogwarts did they always have this eerie of lighting?” he asked as he looked around at the eerie torchlight. ”you want some food?” he asked and glanced at the food that was there – none of it looked as pleasingly amazing as say…well anything that honestly didn’t look this creepy. For all he knew it could have been the most delicious food in the entire world. It was just irritably eerie looking. |

Blinking a little due to the red contacts in her eyes, the Hufflepuff cautiously made her way to the seating area. Clumsiness was a no, no and these contacts were not entirely comfortable on her eyes which was why she took a little longer than she usually would have. But eventually she got there and she scanned around the long table, already knowing what was there, but looking for one thing in particular and that was mud cups. Having found them, she placed her money in the jar and took one for herself turning around to look at the people there. Hmmmm...interesting bunch of people, she knew most of them though. But the outsiders she paid extra attention to them, because there were certain people she hoped would be here like maybe Treyen, Mia and....Kurumi...which she had just spotted. Beam! It had been long. "Love, love, love your skirt." She nudged the former Gryffindor and smiled. |
Quote:
Kurumi's hair maaaaaaaaaaay have turned white as snow from fright, but she was not aware of this either. Hand on her chest, she took a few deep breaths and could feel her heart pounding against her chest. "S-S-Sorry, Nessie, you just...you just startled me with your, um, your costume." Was she supposed to have dressed up for this? She had sort of missed that memo. Not that she would have had time to change into anything after her internship had ended. She had barely had enough time to head home and have dinner with Lewis before heading back out here. Calmed down now, Kurumi opened her arms wide a bit. "Come here and give me a hug, Head Girl." |
daichi ^^, o____________________O? Eh. Did Juliet say something that left him.... speechless and yet only a grin was stuck on his face? Juliet tried recalling, unless if the grin meant about him being busy then that's just about it. However, Juliet just smiled back. Why is she even over thinking this in the first place? Juliet then tug some of her hair and looked at the place. It's the first time that she had to enjoy this at night. The designs are really nice too and the cupcake that she had just finished eating is delightful. The money spent was worth it. Is it possible for her to take one more? She'll pay. False alarm. Juliet pouted as Daichi said that he just wanted some. "For a second there, I thought they served ice cream. It would have been nice to have some. I've been wanting to eat since last week" odd thought how she can't stop but want to eat ice cream. "We should have ice cream some other time" she grinned at him. The signature blush, Juliet smiled even more. Only because it is true. Juliet rarely sees him in anything black so this is quite the change. Just when she was about to respond, Daichi went on rambling over words and then more words. Juliet couldn't help but giggle. Not that she found them funny, it's cute actually. It's just that, she has never heard him like that...... "Thank you" she said gleefully while nudging his shoulder. "It's okay, Prefect" she said saluting to him. Well, kind of just joking around. do you think i can win a duel? Juliet blankly stared at him. "With who? I mean...... right now?" her eyebrow raised in confusion. What's going to happen? Is it part of this activity? Or someone has asked to duel with him that will take part next time? Her eyes narrowed as she went closer to Daichi, eyeing him. Is he serious? he sounded serious anyway. As she backed away, Juliet fixed her shirt. "I think any student who reaches the seventh year can win a duel. For starters, people your age can freely use magic any time. And second, it's surprising that you are bringing this up. Who are you going to duel with?" of course, Juliet will always be as curious as ever. |

Despite knocking her over, this kid actually seemed pretty decent, she had to admit. Most kids probably would have just ran away. "No, thank you." Ivy made a face that sort of resembled a smile and waved her hand at the kid. "Go have fun." |
Text Cut: You “They’renotwhat’scute.” He mumbled, the tips of his ears reddening. ”Why would you be scared? So far, he hadn’t seen anything that was actually scary. Just food that looked gross, but that did taste kinda good. And she wouldn’t be scared because he was here right? ”AndIthoughtweweresupposedtobemeeting.” Hadn’t he said he’d meet her at the thing? What other thing did she think he meant? Kaiden just continued to frown when she said no pie. He hadn’t meant that she couldn’t eat pie with that stupid-face, he just meant he wouldn’t be eating it. He didn’t trust him. But he wasn’t going to tell her those things right now, in front of him. He would just wait till they were alone, or well, not with Nash. “You are strange, you know that? For someone who doesn’t like spiders…. You eating one is strange.” As he eyes the thing, he was sure it had moved just a bit. Could they have been magicked to move? “A game?” the boy asked, looking around. Oh. They had things over there. “Yeah, sure” he said, giving her hand a small squeeze, because hand, he was holding it, and he liked it. Hand. What he did not like was Miks inviting Nash to come, but he didn’t want to make her angry… So he was just sort of going to ignore that then. “Goo game? Er… sure we can do that I guess.” Noticing the slight whimper, the fourth year let go of the girl’s hand and put his arm around her shoulder, which made it even easier for him to hug her when she turned towards her. Feeling her stiffen slightly, he asked, “Everything aright?” and then gave a hoarse “Oh,” when she said she wouldn’t kiss him, and that her brother was here. “Which one? The one from the car or thereallyscaryone?” because it was important. But then she hugged him tight, and he returned the hug, pleasantly surprised with the kiss. And worried too, that he had seen it. “You said something about a game? he asked, meaning, lets go now, please. “Hello.” the red head said smiling at the guy as he ruffled his hair. That staring thing, it was kinda creepy. But the good news was, if this guy did turn out to be a creep, atleast she was somewhere familiar. It was Hogwarts, and even though it no longer felt like home, it was safe. It was always safe… well, except the year there were man eating plants… and the time… okay yeah, but it was safe now. “That’s your sister?” she asked looking at the little blonde girl. She was tiny, and looked incredibly young. And there didn’t seem to be any family resemblance either, but she wasn’t sure if siblings usually looked alike or not, and the lighting wasn’t helping either. “He licked her finger?” Em asked, looking at the kid who now had his arm around the girl. “He must like her.” Because that sounded like something she would do. She would have no qualms about licking Max’s finger… that thought made her frown, and it made her tummy hurt. She bit her lip, as she gazed in the direction of the quidditch pitch, unable to see anything past the far torches. “Yeah, fancy.” She said still gazing off into the distance. “Wait!” she said turning back to the guy beside her. “We planned to meet here.” She smiled and gave him a punch in the arm. “That’s for being a flobber worm.” The girl shook her head at the question. “No, not really… Maybe at the death day party but I don’t remember. Its usually really pretty though. And, food sounds okay I guess.” she said moving closer towards the buffet table. Seeing the spider cupcakes she shuddered. ” Or, no, I think I’m good. Not hungry. We should go. From here.” Why? Why would someone make those things? |
Anyone! Sure it was a little odd that this whole thing was really Halloweenish but that was okay with her! The fourteen year old loved Halloween anyway, so it all worked out. Well, maybe she should say that she loved fall, since she could really do without the super creepy stories and things like that - she really just liked the decorations and the snacks. And the leaves turning colors... Anyway, Eliza was here now, and she was ready to have some fun! Now hopefully she could find something to participate in, or better yet, someone to talk to. She wasn't sure if Ethan or Min would be able to come or not, since she'd heard they'd gotten detention earlier. She especially hoped Ethan could come since he was a prefect and likely helped out with all of this, but she wasn't sure. She was pretty sure she could spot a very energetic Lex running around at the activities, so maybe she'd catch up with her a minute or two, after she scoped out the whole scene here before her. So for now, her hazel eyes drifted along the crowd, observing all of the people, some of which she'd never seen before. Intriguing... |

Yep, his dad was a very smart man. He had his own potion making business and he was sure that he owned other businesses as well, but Mikey wasn't sure what they were because he would rather go and play then listen to the importance of setting yourself up for the future. But he was sure that the Professor did not want o hear all about that. "Okay then." He said starting off and giving the woman a wave. "It was nice talking to you Professor." Now where was that food? His hunger had returned. |

MELLOW. Um...what was wrong with Kurumi? With a very, very confused look, the red head just watched her older friend. She couldn't exactly understand what the commotion was all about and for that moment had completely forgotten about the contacts in her eyes. Maybe it was something behind her or who knew? But Kurumi's hair out of nowhere began turning white and all Ness could do was stare even more, this time her eyes widening. Seriously what was going on? Nessie opened her mouth to speak, but before she could Kurumi beat her to it. Costume, now? Um...okay...more confusion for the badger. Whatever it was, she never really meant to startle Kurumi. "It's okay. Um...I'm not wearing a costume though?" WAIT WAIT. It was the contacts. Right. "You mean my eyes?" She asked with a small pout forming on her cherry-pink lips. Smile. Kurumi was calm and back to normal, which meant Nessie stopped her wide eyed staring. The Head Girl bit really wasn't necessary, but Ness gave Kurumi a tight squish. She missed her tons. Missed seeing her at Hogwarts most, but life was life. "I'm glad you came, you know? Miss seeing you around on these grounds." Yes. Kurumi needed to know she was missed. |
Text Cut: Awar and Manolo! Hugs. Hugs were awesome, weren't they? Alec wrapped his arms around his pseudo-sister and hugged her back, squeezing her a little. "A-okay doesn't sound bad..." he said, letting go of her, "Everything's great with me! Studying's boring but there's always Quidditch and Ells and friends and you!" With that, he reached over and gave her a gentle poke on the nose. And... dude. Dude person. Alec didn't really know what the look on the older guy's face meant but he was sure that it wasn't exactly a good one. "Oh! Erm... well... I'd recommend the cupcakes, they're really nice!" he said, reaching up a hand to ruffle his hair. Scary dude seemed scary. ... Oh. OH! BLINK. Wait... did the dude think... him and Awar... O_O Probably not. But it was sort of in the rule of a big brother to be wary of any boy being around his sister, yeah? Alec let out a small sigh of relief at the grin on the older guy's face before grinning back. "Nice to meet you too, Manolo!" he said, shaking the guy's hand, "Oh, it's my pleasure!" Nodnod. ... Chuckle. "It sounds like she's really fond of you so... I don't think I would be able to even if I tried." Not that he really had. GRIN. Text Cut: Kace! Alec took hold of an eyeball cupcake and bit down into it as Kace looked around the area. This wasn't bad, actually. The cupcake. And it reminded him a lot of Halloween. If only he had thought about his clothing choice and decided to dress-- ... Oh? Appreciate. Prefects. Nodnod. "Yeah, they've done a really great job, haven't they?" he said, looking down at the cupcake with an impressed look on his face. They really were nice. Really. How many was he allowed to have? "Really?" he asked, looking back at Kace, "Well... you're going to have a lot more to come, I hope. The Prefects do this every year!" Yeah? Didn't they? The Shrieking Shack? How do you explain it to a firstie who could get scared? ... "Well... it's a haunted house in Hogsmeade, the village near the school," That didn't sound scary, right? "I've never been in there though," And... he probably wasn't going to try. He definitely wasn't going to let Kace go in there; what would Belle say?! Alec shook his head and looked over at Kace, just in time to see jelly pouring out of the first year's mouth. "I'll take that as a yes, then?" he said, letting out a small chuckle. And for good measure, he reached over and ruffled the boy's hair, too. |
Text Cut: AlecBeaaarr <3 "Yes, well, we're all we have to each other," Awar, along with her brother, reached for a cupcake after having paid. Manolo Awar nodded, "This are really good!" She looked over at Alec and smirked maliciously. Taking a good finger scoop, she assaulted Alec's nose with the cupcake's icing. You poke me, I'll paint you with delicious topping! |
SPOILER!!: Alec! :3 When Kace heard he was going to have a lot more to come, he perked up and even a little jello fell off his face. Woops....that was embarrassing. He hoped Alec didn't think he was a slob. But hey he was young. Plus the jello was really good! He nodded when Alec figured he enjoyed the jello. He even asked Alec about the prefect events. "Really they have events like this every year? Woah that is so cool! Now i wonder what the winter one will be like." When Alec was explaining the shrieking shack, Kace's adventure personality peaked. He was curious to explore. "Awww i am sure it is not THAT scary but i am curious to go in there. I mean haven't you been curious what is inside." He smiled to Alec with his eyes widened with the prospect of exploring the shrieking shack. |
Erik had not planned to make an appearance at this event, sick as he was of fundraisers, but as he strolled along toward the forest, a certain someone caught his eye. Text Cut: Ms. Knox "Ms. Knox," he called out as he strolled over to her, one hand in his suit pocket. Erik watched as some boy she was talking to scrambled off. Good timing, lad. "Lovely weather this evening." He flicked his blue gaze up toward the sky and then back to her. Lovely. Just lovely. For now. |
So. This event seemed anything but pleasant. But. Anya was dating a Prefect. Thus, she was going to be supportive of things he was involved in. She browsed the buffet. She made faces and shuddered slightly at things. She then decided the mud cups looked relatively safe. Assuming, of course, it wasn't actually mud. She dropped 10 sickles into a jar (because she was grabbing one for Jake and wasn't exactly sure if she had to pay twice). Grabbing the two cups, she looked around before spotting her boyfriend. Okay. Supportive. She could be supportive. She could do it. Even if everything was... gross. He was worth it. |

"Mr. Vinteren," she replied with a nod and a glance his way. Then she looked up at the sky. "It's alright." Still a bit too chilly for her preference, but it would do. After a moment, she looked back over at Erik, suddenly discovering the need to stop her smile from growing. "How are you?" |
Quote:
"I'm doing fine," Erik shrugged non-committally. "Haff you tried any of vhe prefect's events today?" He was curious to see his fellow governor at this silly little event for children. But he was also sure she had her reasons for being here, as did he. His gaze trailed toward the forest with that thought before returning to Ivy. |
Quote:
"Will you be trying any?" she asked a moment later, catching Erik look over at the forest. Ivy blinked and looked over at the large, dark cluster of trees before looking back at Erik... She was suspicious, she was. More so than usual. |

Erik shook his head. "I'm just here to watch." Watch what...he didn't say. |
Quote:
"Same here," she responded, glancing toward the forest again quickly. She had a feeling they weren't watching the same things. |

"Don't look that way," he leaned in and whispered in her ear. "Subtly is the game I'm here to play, okay?" Subtly and harmless observation. Nothing bad ever came of observation |
Quote:
Subtlety, eh? "You're not doing a very good job," she whispered back, disguising it with a small smile, linking her fingers with his. He was the one who had looked over there to begin with. But she |

..."Vhat are these things?" he asked curiously, picking up something that was either a very pale finger or a cookie coated in white chocolate. Should he eat it? Was it edible? |
