Reference Section To the the left of the Front Desk area you can find the exstensive records and reference section. If you don’t want to ask for help or assistance right away then check this out. A whole book case has been taken in possession to house the extensive record tomes of past teachers, prefects, awards, champions and all the events big and small that has occurred in Hogwarts long history since its founding many, many years ago. The information is easy to access and anyone is free to consult the records any time they need but be respectful of the tomes age. No tomes may be removed or borrowed from the library without the librarian’s approval or direct instruction. A dozen bookshelves stretches out behind the Librarian’s desk, this is the reference section. The books these shelves hold make up the library’s reference section. Here you can find a complete list of all the books, news papers crammers etc found in the whole of the library. If you need any help the librarian isn't far away. The shelves show clear signs of water damage, where there should be books you only see holes. What is going on? Has Mr Kitridge not repaired a possible leak to the ceiling or have someone else not been keeping up with their duties? Transfig HW Post 4 Feeling kind of bad, though not sure why since it wasn't actually alive, Ethan picked up the gargoyle and moved a little bit away from the study tables to the reference section. Maybe he should get practice flipping that thing without the tables first so he didn't destroy property. He placed the books on the floor again in the see-saw formation. "Let's try this again." He looked at the gargoyle apologetically and waved his wand. "Piertotum Locomotor." The gargoyle came to attention again and he set him on the end of the book. He tried not to look directly in its eye, feeling bad for its accident.. but then he realized he was being silly and set about continuing his work. He pushed down on the other end of the books while commanding, "Somersault!" His eyes followed the little gargoyle as it tumbled in the air, landing neatly on its feet on the floor. "Bravo!" he grinned and applauded the gargoyle. Now if he could just get it to land up on a table or something.. maybe it was more the force of hitting the book than anything.. |
A chill filled the library... and here they were... more dark figured gliding through the school... they reached out towards the little children, wanting to touch them... and maybe give them a little smooch! But none of the children were nearby... So, the dementors left... |
