Mahogany to sea urchin purple, the warm yet striking colors of the office seems to both brighten and darken the room. It is evident that the Professor's desk wasn't considered to be the center of attention. If the few metal sculptures of creatures and charcoal abstract works of art scattered around the room and even hanging from the ceiling weren't distraction enough, it was the amount of furnishing.
A large selection of chairs, each comfier than the next as you move further into the room, sit between you and the back of the room where the Professor's desk actual sits. Sitting right in the middle of the room, upon a thin yet soft carpet, is a deep mahogany rectangular table, scattered with various books, magazines, and a silver tea set ready to be used. A very plush leather couch sits near the side, though one may have to fight Alfonso to sit there.
Behind the main desk to the right is a bookshelf lined from top to bottom of the wall, even curving into the corner of the room. Filled up with books, some barely looking new while others are separating from their spines, some titles that could be found are Defensive Magical Theory, Seeing the Hidden: A Concealment and Disguise Guide, Expect the Unexpected: Shield Magic, and a few out of place topics such as The Art of Meditation and The Magnum Opus of Scrap Metal. To the left of the room, there are a few smaller filing cabinets, used to document student grades as well as research from the professor's own personal studies.
Make yourself comfortable if you'd like or stand in a fit of nerves if you must. If that's the case, Barnabus or Erma will surely try to comfort you the best way that they can. Be careful though, Barnabus does tend to drool and Erma gets rather clingy.

West leaned down and gave Erma a stroke as he went into the office and then he stood and waited to be told he could sit down. Manners and stuff. He was thinking still, about the things he had come to ask about, and wondering if he'd be able to find anything out at all.
Because there was something that had just struck him as odd and he wanted to figure it out.

Erma paused like a statue, butt in the air, as West petted her though not a second after, bolted to go sit upon something high. Medea sighed quietly and shook her head some as she shut the door behind herself, though wasn't particularly bothered by the act. It made her smile and chuckle a little.
"Make yourself comfortable." she spoke, choosing an individual seat herself though not yet sitting. "Vould you like some tea? Biscuits? Ice cream?"

Of course it would be awesome. Taking out her wand, she tapped the silver tea pot sitting upon the middle of the table before heading over to her desk. Opening a drawer and pulling out a medium sized intricately designed round metal box, Medea opened the top and placed it upon the table next to the steaming tea pot, revealing it's jam and hazelnut sweet contents.
"So..." she started to say, pouring two cups of steaming tea and glancing towards West. "Vot is on your mind?"

Maybe he should find excuses to visit all the professors and see how many of them fed him with stuff that was better than the elves provided. Or the elf. Or whatever. West made a mental note to attempt this next time he was extra hungry but for now he took a couple of biscuits happily. "Thanks." He said again.
What was on his mind? Well...
"I was thinking about elves." He began, sounding almost... cautious about it.

Sliding one teacup and saucer towards West's side of the table, she carefully picked up her own and leaned back in her seat, nodding at his expression of gratitude. Though, even with the state of things at Hogwarts, the chosen topic was still a little surprising. Not in her top three guesses at all.
"Oh? Vot about them?" She asked before taking a sip of her tea.

Paaaause. "But the elves couldn't have resigned, because they didn't have jobs and weren't paid or anything and weren't free, so whoever got left them when Hufflepuff died, must have ordered them away." Right? He was still trying to puzzle through the idea of it...
"And I'm guessing either the school itself, or whoever is the head of the school at the time, like Truebridge now, technically owns the elves... so maybe somehow someone else owns them now, and they made them leave. There isn't any other way what makes sense, I don't think. And its still real strange."

Wobbling and wibbling his way down to Medea's office, he realized about halfway that he probably should have just sent his patronus telling her to get her pretty self up the the Astronomy Tower to collect her feline monster. But for whatever reason he felt the need to come down and do this in person, so, here he was.
Barging into your office, Medea, after knocking twice.
"Med----Professor Romanos," he said with urgency and noticing that she was not alone. "I'm sorry for interrupting..." Only he wasn't really THAT sorry because there was a THING terrorizing his office right this second. "....but something of yours seems to have found its way into my office."

Medea hummed and nodded in the appropriate places as responses while she was listening during the start of his explanation. Though, quite honestly, she wasn't even sure how she was holding her teacup and saucer still after he ended, much less being aware of their surroundings at the present moment.

"I, erm..." She didn't get a chance to speak actually.

Jumping a little, and spilling a bit of her tea on her pant leg THANK YOU VERY MUCH AIREY, Medea huffed and quickly placed the teacup and saucer on the table before summoning a handkerchief from her desk drawer. Not that she could stay mad at him. His reasoning in being here were quite amusing after all.
"Really?" she asked, playing the innocent and clueless cards. "Vell, I'll go get votever it is after I'm done speaking vith Mister Odessa here. Unless you vould be so kind and generous as to bring it down for me?"

Blink. West missed nothing of this, though it happened so quickly from double door knock to tea spilling. Why did Romanos have a thing-of-some-sort in Flammy's office though? He was all the way up in the towers (which was part of why West hadn't taken his musings up there, too far to walk). He might have offered to go get the thing-of-unknown-characteristics for professor Romanos, but he wasn't going to do that without knowing more. That was just common sense.
West wondered in a vague sort of way what the thing was. Hopefully not something that devoured Astronomy professors, since they all knew that Hogwarts wasn't so great at keeping them.
And West wasn't sure there was enough space on the fountain for a third plaque.

Airey was quite grateful that Mr. Odessa was remaining silent for now and just observing. This was already awkward enough without a student asking questions.
But then his blue eyes fell on Medea with a slightly uncharacteristic intensity. "You know how I feel about felines," he mumbled while shuffling his feet a bit while he edged towards her. Of course she knew. That was why she had left one of them in the middle of his office. He was internally cringing with thoughts about what that thing was probably doing to his office now. The fur. The claws.
SHIVER.
He glanced back towards the Slytherin for a moment before resting his gaze back on Medea. "I'll....just be waiting for you...outside your office then..."
Fidgety professor was fidgety.

Staring back at him with her calm yet amused expression, she continued to dab at the tea stain on her pant leg. Quite honestly, she was surprised he hadn't levitated the cat down here or threatened to do anything to him if she didn't get him now, since he now decided to wait. "Make yourself comfortable. I von't be long."
Lies! She was going to take as looooooong as she could.

Getting most of the tea off her pants, she folded the handkerchief into a small square and placed it upon the table before turning her full attention back to West. Well, most of it. Until Airey was out of her office, West HAD most of it.
Aw yes, back to the topic. "Are you suggesting...Headmistress Truebridge gave avay the house elves?"

When that was done, Alice tapped the vacuum again and cast "Vacavus" once more and promptly stuck the hose thing on the cat's tail. .. was it hairless yet? "Finite!" And then she tugged the nozzle off a very baffled looking kitty to reveal..
.. a naked tail.
Half of her job done, she kept vacuuming around the area blindly until coming across Erma. This one was less drool-y and more clingy, flitting around her legs, which made it easier to silence her. "Silencio." After casting that spell, Alice performed another "Vacavus" on the vacuum and repeated the sucking process on the second cat tail until she deemed it hairless, too. "Finite." And she was done.
"I've finished, professor. Doesn't the place look spiffy?" Mhmm. Could she go now, before Romanos noticed her cats' tail hair was missing?

Minerva waited until she was asked in and then she pretty much bounced inside. She felt pacy, was that nerves or just the energy of excitement, either way her awful mood from a few night ago was gone and replaced with excitement.. yes terrifying excitement. She was treading on uncommon water and she wasn't sure if she should be or not.
Not able to contain herself she turned the minute the Professor was in the door. "I want to help." She almost blurted to quickly. Talking with her hands as quickly as her words were coming out she took a breath. "Professor I want to help with whatever you might or might not have planned for Professor Flamsteed. I got hit with that sneezing and well we both know what happened that Ethan took the blame for." Awkward chuckle and blush
"Wait you don't know is Professor Lafay was at the Duck Pond" small under breath grumble "and I asked her if she needed any help, I wish I wouldn't have now, but whatever.. Anyway she had given some duck a potion and we were looking for its poop, and well Mr. Firth came and Professor Lafay blamed me, and then Firth asked me for my ID.. I had no clue what to do so I gave him what I had. He said it was fake." She kept a rambling quick pace not being able to stop the word vomit that was coming out in her explanation. "Me with a fake ID how incredibly crazy is that, but Professor Lafay said that I could be expelled, and then Firth said it was just a joke and that Professor Flamsteed put him up to it, then I got detention from Professor Lafay."
Small eye roll and deep breath.
"So you see Professor.. I not only was a victim once of one of his pranks, but twice and the second landed me in detention." Not his fault, not even Mr. Firth's fault, but she was still annoyed by it. "So I want to help...It could be to your benefit until Professor Lafay I have never gotten detention, rarely have had points taken and I usually always do as I am told. So he would not expect me to be helping you at all."
Cue planning grin..
She bounced on her toes waiting to see what the response was, trying to calm and act collected and cool, Minerva truly couldn't she was just to hyped up on her thoughts to stay still.

Closing the door behind them, Medea awkwardly crossed her arms, eyeing Alice's work for a few moments before slowly making her way back over to her easel. The same one William's crup relieved himself on. It was lucky it was a cute animal. Going back to work on her charcoal design, she was oblivious to her distressed cats, until every now and then she'd look over after they ran away.
Barnabus had a particularly tough time trying to roll over and get back on his feet to actually get away from the vacuum, and Erma just ran in circles until her tail was released, in which she jumped on ALL THE THINGS. Obviously it was nothing knew to the professor to see her like that.
Hmm, what? She was done?
Automatically smiling regardless of how the place looked, Medea glanced around and...nodded. It actually did look pretty good. Much like how it was previously since she kept her office mostly clean. Sometimes.
"Actually, yea, Miss Fischer. You do an excellent jo- EEEEEEEEEEEEEEK!"
Hopping around her desk, she climbed up on her chair and pointed to something that looked very much like a long, skinny, pink tail, showing from under her couch!chair. A Barnabus tail. "VOT IS THAT??"

Medea was a bit lost with the whole Lafay and duck poop explanation, but it all came around at the end of the explanation. Honestly, it was an intriguing idea, she would admit to that. Though, was she really going to promote shenanigans in her student's? "I...don't know, Miss Wheatborn." she finally, and hesitantly, spoke while moving over to one of the chairs in her office, though not yet sitting down.
"You do know there's a chance you'll get caught, right? And the consequences that come vith it."

Minerva stood there still bouncing with energy and excitement. She wasn't surprised to see the shock on Professor Romanos' face. Heck she would have been just as shocked if it wasn't for the fact that it was her brain thinking of it. She felt a little sheepish though at the caught comment. Had she thought about being caught. Well maybe a little, but she was so wrapped up in finally doing something about this issue that she looked past it.
and anyways, Flamsteed had a good sense of humor, right?? Right.. and if he didn't, well Minerva felt he was pretty understanding..
Soo..... "Yes professor, I understand that, but " she bite her lip trying to think of the best way to put this.. "I have never been in trouble, not detention trouble before and I.. I know the detention is not him, but well.. it's hard to explain, you weren't there to see it.. All I know is I really want to help you.. be on your side.. He has embarrassed you just as much as me. Brushing off sneezing powder to your students could not have been one of the best memories to keep, if you don't mind me saying. So I will leave it up to you, but I am offering."
Now to wait and the wait might be more then just this office visit and Minerva was fine with that. She put the offer out there it's all she could really do.

Minerva listened with a smile. Oh a seat, sure thing! She watched the cat “Your cat is super cute” She said as she took the seat that Professor Romanos pointed out.
Minerva smiled as the professor pointed to a seat, “Oh your cat is so cute.” She reached down to pet the chubby fluff ball. “Cats are fun animals, I don’t have any of my own, but they are still very cute.” Well she kind of thought of Elise as her cat even if it was Ethan’s, but all in all not really her cat. Finally sitting down Minerva looked at Professor Romanos still smiling. “Oh no..no..no..no I am not thinking of revenge really at all. Not really, it will be nice to see, but not really for revenge just entertainment and helping out another professor.” That was more the way she would put this, if she wanted revenge she would be asking on how to get it against Lafay not Flamsteed.
Leaning towards the desk Minerva wasn’t sure why she needed to whisper, but for all she knew Flamsteed could have bugged this office and would know there plans. “So.. like I said he would never think I would be involved so it might be easier for me to do something. Honestly would I be someone you would suspect of being part of a staff prank?” Seriously she had never stepped that much out of line in the past years. Her biggest points lost were from casually being late for class and that was accidents.

Hopping around her desk, she climbed up on her chair and pointed to something that looked very much like a long, skinny, pink tail, showing from under her couch!chair. A Barnabus tail. "VOT IS THAT??"

"Thanks, prof, I'm glad it turned out oka-"
Why was the professor screaming? With wide eyes, Alice turned back around to face Romanos' office and got a full-on view of the naked Barnabus tail. .. oh. Did the professor not know that was her cat? How exactly was she supposed to come up with an excuse for that? Stupid cats, could they not stay hidden for just a couple of minutes? "Ummmm.. dunno, professor, but whatever it is, it might be infectious, and I'm highly prone to sickness. Best be getting out of here. See you!"

Well. She was gone, reasonable excuse or not. Mission accomplished.

Minerva sat there with a huge smile on her face.. Yes she wanted in on this and YES who would suspect a Hufflepuff, especially this Hufflepuff. It could be epic and fun at the same time. Plus Professor Flamsteed liked jokes so he would think it was funny, right? Well she would keep telling herself that at least.
…and then there it was.. SHE WAS GOING TO LET HER. Minerva almost jumped out of her seat!! Harland muttered to himself darkly about Dementors as he made his way to the DADA professor's office. He'd tried his head of house, but no one had been there, so he'd decided to come here next.
DADA, Dementors, they went hand-in-hand! Maybe he could get some help from Professor Romanos! That was a pretty awesome name, actually, if he thought about it. But back to his mission for the girls back at the common room! Get a professor to come and help people who were freaking out!
Slowly, he knocked on the office door, waiting to be seen. Hopefully the professor would be able to give them advice, if not help. But he was sure she'd be able to help... Right?

Harland blinked. Wow, were the professors really this... Bouncy? Well, it was a great thing, he liked bouncy people! Much more fun than non-bouncy people! A small grin spread across his lips as he waved. "Hey, Professor Romanos... Uh, my fellow Gryffindors sent me? There was a Dementor in our common room, and people are still a bit..." What word could he use to describe them? He didn't know, but he was pretty sure some were still hidden in their dorms. At least, had been when he was there last. "And so they told me to come and get a professor, and our Head of House isn't here, so I came to the DADA teacher... Which is, of course, you!" She knew that, right? Of course she did. How couldn't she? And now he was mind-rambling...
