Erik Vinteren's office looks similar to that of the previous occupants of this room, if not more light, airy, and spacious than before. Books belonging to him line the shelves adjacent to his handsome cherry desk. Guests to the office may have a seat on the soft blue-green sofa and can try to steal a peek through the large, modern windows behind the desk. There is no sign of the colourful walls of the past professors, as Vinteren has much simpler tastes.
There are few personal effects in the room, and most of which are either books or trinkets from Vinteren's globetrotting. A few antiques, one unusually heavy hammer, and a fake plant sum up the trinkets. There is also one lone photo on the bookshelf nearest his desk, but its frame is usually empty. The subject of the photo can sometimes be described as 'shy.'
If you have been invited in by Mr. Vinteren, please clearly state your business with him and then be on your way. He is a very busy man who does not have time to waste on pointless conversations. He does, however, make time for serious students with academic inquiries, as per his role with the Hogwarts Board of Governors.
