Ivy smirked in return and tried not to laugh or hit him. "Same goes to you, dear." Stepping closer once more, Ivy placed a brief kiss on Erik's cheek before stepping back. She shot him a wink and then turned towards the door, leaving him to plan his detention while brainstormed her own.

Harsh? Him? Neverrrrr. He was punishing a child, for Odin's sake, not say, a campaign manager.

"Mhmm," he murmured, secretly pleased to get a kiss from her before she left. Then he sat back down at his desk once and ran a hand through his hair, sighing again lightly. Time to plot something grand and evil.

The topaz they had left on his desk went into his pocket though. He would find more of these, wherever they had come from. He would.

Jory made his next stop at Professor Vinteren's Office. The man hadn't taught him many classes as he only started teaching this term but still, the lessons he had were very cool! Especially the first one. Hoping the Professor wasn't busy, Jory knocked on the door.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

Erik happened to be in, as it were. The Hufflepuff on the other side of his door had good timing.

"Come in."

Great! Professor Vinteren was in! Jory pushed open the door and entered the office. The man was sitting at his desk. "Hello, Professor!'' he greeted. "So er, this is my last year at Hogwarts and I'm just dropping by to tell you thanks a lot for the great lessons.'' Really. They had been awesome! He wished Vinteren had been around earlier to teach but unfortunately Jory would have to make do with two lessons only. He wondered if the Professor would be teaching next term. Anyway. "I've got something for you.'' He placed the miniature gargoyle on the desk. "It could represent the Gargoyle Strike of 1911,'' he added with a grin.

Ah, the Hufflepuff boy. One of the many Hufflepuffs who did well in his class. Erik gestured for the boy to take a seat.

"Vhank you," he blinked, surprised to hear such praise coming from young lips. He sat forward when the boy placed something on his desk, and raised his eyebrows. Well, it was good to see the boy's magical education was not lacking, if he knew of....strikes from 1911...

"Good luck vith your post-graduation plans," Erik added, giving the miniature gargoyle a poke before he looked back to the boy. "Do you haff any?"

"You're welcome, Sir,'' Jory responded with a smile and took a seat after the man had gestured for him to do so. "And thank you.'' He was both nervous and excited to get out into the world of work. He nodded. "Yes, Sir. I would like to join the Auror department.'' That would be following in his footsteps. Well, sort of. They'd both be catching bad guys anyway. '"My second option would be the Department of Magical Games and Sports.' Yup. Because he loved sports.

It was...nice...that the boy had plans. Tragic that those plans involved the British Ministry of Magic, however. He listened politely though and gave Jory a nod when he'd finished. "Vhose are admirable options. Best of luck." He held out his hand across the desk for a handshake.

"Thanks, professor,'' Jory responded. "And to you too.'' Yep. In whatever the man would do because Jory didn't think he would be a History of Magic longer. He was just a visiting Professor after all. Which was a shame. He really knew the subject.

The badger reached over and shook the man's hand. "Thanks once again for the awesome lessons, Professor.''

Smart kid, he knew Erik wouldn't be returning to Hogwarts next year. Not as a professor, anyway. The boy received a smile for that.

"Thank you," he released his hand.
