Moving Staircase The easiest way to get from one floor to the next is to take the staircase. But, you'd better watch out! It moves :shifty: |
Hop. Hop. Hop. Skip. Hop. Alexa made her way down a flight of stairs, peering down to watch the others gliding even further below. Oooooooo! She kept hopping and skipping along until she came to the end of one set and the start of another. This was the extra fun part. She gave it a few seconds, bouncing in place as she waited. "Try to keep up Felix, I don't want you getting lost, we've got ice-cream to go get." She peered back at the Kneazle who'd been taking his own time in catching up with her. Lex grinned down at him before scooping him up. "If I didn't know any better I'd think you didn't want any." Buuuuuuuuuuuut, she did know better--or well, she thought she did and that was good enough for her!!!! The food had gotten worse than anything Amanda could scrape off the sidewalk and attempt to cook but there was still ICE-CREAM in the kitchen!! Hair Boy were right, they could have ice-cream right around the clock if they wanted to!! GRIN. As a gap began forming she hopped across to another set of stairs that took her to just the one she'd need. Without hesitation she bolted down them and hopped off at the fourth floor. "Just think about it Felix, chocolate flavoured ice-cream and we could stick chocolate frogs in the bowl too---EEEeeeeepppppppp!!!!" Aidan had her bowl!!! He was all the way back up in the Ravenclaw Common Room... adgskgfoglbflgi!! Nuuuuuuuu!!! Maybe she'd just hope to find a stray spork, spoon thing in the kitchen and help herself? The bowl wouldn't be all that important as long as she had ice-cream, right? >____< |
>___< Beezus quickly turned on the spot, unintentionally whipping her hair about and as it cascaded back onto her shoulders, the brunette dashed towards one of the moving staircases - she didn't even know where it was headed to - and hopped on. She just had to get away. Anything but just to get away from the person chasing her. She knew it was very immature that she was avoiding the matter and running away but she just DID NOT want to talk, okay?! Because if she did, she was 99.9% sure she'll be changing her decision and she did not want that, she wanted to stick with her decision....kind of. Meh. |

"Beeeee!" she called, running after her and quite nearly catching up. Milton had them run laps, you know? Would the girl just stop her running? Hopping onto the moving staircase only moments after Bee did, she groaned as it started moving. Now where were they going? Regardless, Bee was stuck with her unless she planned on falling six feet down, straight to the kitchen level. Didn't sounds particularly appealing. "Beatrice Castell," she said sharply, once the brunette turned to face her. "Why in the name of Merlin's soggy left sock have you been avoiding me?" Was it the badge? She could resign, easily enough. She'd considered it so many times and she'd even walked to Professor Cerulean's office a few times, intending to give the badge back but then convinced herself otherwise. |

Slowly, with her eyebrows forked together, she faced the blonde and flinched a bit as she was addressed by her full name. "I haven't been avoiding you." Merlin. She never was the best liar in town, no? Throwing a glance to her left indicated that the staircase they were currently on was going back in place in a while. She just needed to keep talking and maybe when their staircase reaches a floor, she can finally get away. "Why are you chasing me? Are you working on being a Chaser?" Great. Then Elise can take her place. |

"Stop. lying. to. me." Elise's voice was strained as her right hand gripped the railing tightly, partly from not wanting to fall off, the other part from frustration. She knew full well that Bee hadn't been sleeping the last time she'd entered the dorms and she seemed to be sitting as far away as she could from the blonde in classes. It wasn't normal for this sort of thing to be happening and to be honest, Elise was really getting worried. "I'm a beater," she said quickly. Just in case Bee had forgotten that single vital fact. She was also incredibly observant and had noticed things like how Bee had been hiding behind pillars, escaping classrooms as soon as possible, etc. She'd also noticed the tryout sheets that hadn't even bee touched by the brunette. "and you haven't signed up for tryouts." |

"That doesn't mean you can't be a Chaser." Really. If there was one person Beezus would want to take up her spot as a Ravenclaw Chaser, it would be Elise. And yes, she haven't signed up for tryouts. Meh. It looks as if there was no use avoiding it now. Captain Fairfield had brought it up herself. The tryouts. The word resonating inside her head made her bite her lip and then she looked away. The staircase is nearing a floor now. I'll be able to get away before she skins me alive. "Oh!" Pretend surprise right there. "The sign ups have started? I didn't know. " She knew...she actually even had a few moments with that sign up sheet in between those times she was trying to figure out for herself if she'd write down her name on it but so far, she knew there wasn't a Beatrice Castell in there and might stay that way. She hated lying. It made her feel like a terrible person. So the earlier she gets away, the better. She won't be forced to add more lies. Finally, the staircase stopped moving. Beezus was so ready to lift her feet and run but she realized that she was stuck....or rather......Elise had stuck her shoes' soles on the marble floor. Turning back to the blonde, Beezus semi-glared. "What is this?" UGH. |

"I feel weird flying without a bat, y'know?" Which meant that it would be incredibly awkward for her to play Chaser or Keeper. Especially not Seeker. She'd just leave that to Aidan... assuming he came for tryouts and all that. "You manage that announcement board, Bee." It was getting increasingly obvious that she didn't want to tell Elise the truth any time soon. "If you... don't respect me as a captain, that's fine. At least respect me as a person, though!" she said, thoroughly exasperated as she threw her hands into the air in frustration. "Why aren't you signing up, Bee? You're one of the best chasers I've seen!" OH. The Stickfast Hex had worked, even considering that she had used minimal wand movements because she was trying to hide it. It was just a simple hex, with a simple counter-hex. "I'll remove it when you start telling me the truth." And that was that. She wasn't going anywhere until she could actually explain herself, truthfully. |
Astronomy Homework 1 Should Aphrodite did her homework here? This place is one of the places at risk in doing homework .. How she can be a "living and moving black hole" on the stairs that also moving.. She must think faster and there is no harm in trying, hold the vaccum cleaner that he carried in the left hand and a wand in his right hand, Aphrodite said, "Vacavus," and the small amount of dust and junk floating entering the fourth floor of her vacuum cleaner. "Okay, it's time to look elsewhere," she said to herself as she walked upstairs. Fortunately, Aphrodite had moved from the stair that she was on because suddenly it was moved to the other side. Time to get going. |
She hadn't come here for long time. But here she was, dressed all casually for reasons. Since it was cold and she didn't fancy a cold she figured that excising didn't have to be only outdoors. That's why she picked the stairs. Bending down, she propped one foot on a step and fastened her sneakers' ties. She surely wouldn't want to trip while excising. She stood and straightened then took a deep breath into her lungs and made a huge hop covering a couple of steps at the same time. HA! Starts were very important. Though she probably should have warmed up or something. But the good thing is that her feet didn't twist under her so all was good. The snake took a split second to breath again and started climbing the stairs FAST! Like really fast. Once her foot touched the step the other one immediately was on the next one. Getting to the top of the staircase, she inhaled, turned around then started down the steps. She really was tired. And her legs and lungs were burning. Like a lot. Not to mention that sweat was trickling down her forehead. She wiped it with her sleeve. She had lots of washing to do. Slowing down, Cassia got to the bottom of the staircase and leaned on the railing. But she wasn't supposed to stop! She forced herself to start again but in a slower pace. Much slower. And it didn't help when the staircase decided to move. Cassia grabbed the railing and used it to help her push herself up. Up.Up. Aaaaaand stop. Panting, she plopped down and held her head with her hands. And she thought the stairs would be easier. Pfffffffft. After resting for a couple of minutes, she stood up and decided to change her technique. Both feet on a step, she hopped to the next one bringing both feet up then on the step. A pause for breath then she hopped to the next. This was tiring too but it was different and she was more reasonable pasuing for breath and all. At last she started switching from hopping to running down and up until her breath became heavy and she was sure that people on other staircases were able to here her pant. She probably looked horrible too. So that was her cue to stop and call it a day. Now to go wash and eat! But first, she needed to gather her strength. |
