Lex nodded in full agreement with him. It was good that he found him. Bad things happened to good kneazles all the time--like legit. "That thing where you still have him purring in your lap even though I'm right here." Then the kneazle got some looks. The kind that said 'remember who you're cuddling with later'. He should remember it wouldn't be Aidan. Two different towers, unless he forgot that in all the new affection he was getting.
She glanced over at Kaiden. "Of course I was happy to see him, aren't you ever happen to see your friends after a long summer away?" Was she the only one not seeing the big deal?
And. "Yeah, what he said. Kneazles and cats are different. Just look at his tail, looks more like a lion's tail, doesn't it? And his paws are bigger." See how that worked? Felix didn't like being confused for a cat either.
As for the hanging out...sure! They had no where to go for the next few hours so they might as well since he was already here. "I don't see why not--" Her sentence was cut off by the sudden appearance of a toad. She looked immediately to Aidan who didn't seem to need telling because he already had Felix under control.
"Neat frog. Does it fancy the inside of a kneazle's stomach?" No?

Oh Merlin. She thought as she glanced at all the candy - and the Kneazle. She reached into her pocket to make sure that Zara was still safe in there. Of course the puff was safe. She was just a fluffball. Kilo on the other hand had disappeared before while she was talking to Kaiden earlier.
So this was where he had run off to.
"Can I join you guys?" she beamed at the group. As she looked around. "Lexa...I might have a job for us...y'know find the owner of a certain owl and prank them until they realize they need to clean the cage so it doesn't tip and have its filth and contents fall onto innocent bystanders forcing them to use the REMAINING store of jarred cleaning spell on them..." oh wait. That was obvious. Yeah, her tone had grown a bit. "Don't mind me...I just had a stupid bird poop on me...and its not even my own." she finally muttered as she glanced at the ground.

The boy began making himself comfortable even before the Lion gril said he could stay. After all, it wasn't her compartment, and he was just sitting, and all that. He even went so far as to open his backpack, and pull out a piece of candy.
And at her Comment about Toad he narrowed his eyes at the girl"He's not a frog, he's a toad. And that cat isn't eating him" Because he was his. And a pet, and he had paid good money for him. He picked up the bumpy little guy and sat him on the seat beside him, away from that dumb cat.
When the blonde girl entered, he did shift a little uncomfortably, and placed a hand on top of Toad, so he wouldn't try to jump at her again. But then she started talking about owl poo, and he just couldn't help but lauge once more at the thing he had seen earlier. "I think... the luggage compartment should be off limits."
Was she worried or something? He was happy and safe and FOUND, what did it matter what he was doing as long as it wasn't running away or being trampled? Aidan took her question very seriously and looked from the kneazle to its owner, then his gaze dropped to her legs. "Maybe he's just comfortable. I've got a bigger lap." Her legs were skinny and tiny while his were...bigger merely because he was a boy.
'Does it fancy the inside of a kneazle's stomach?' Aidan laughed and gave Felix a look. He was still sleeping as far as the boy could tell. "Maybe you should put it away somewhere, yeah?" he asked of Kaiden. Though, it really wasn't a question. He had no doubt Felix would attack that and be done with it before they even noticed.
Then Mika appeared, asking if she could join them and then not bothering to wait for an answer. ...Sure she could join, he supposed. Unless Lex wanted her out. Because, frankly, Lex's opinion was the only one he cared about in their current company.
She talked and talked and talked an awful lot, so Aidan just tuned her out, reaffirming his hold on Felix while still stroking him. He only caught the last line about owl poo. "Did you clean yourself?" Why she even paraded that little fact around was beyond him.

My cat. And he went back to sleep.
"Uhm..." she trailed. "Uhm... I'm..I'm..sorry" she mumbled. Her cat's fault, technically, her fault. She wasn't the one who usually asked sorry. But her mum had asked her to be polite and well-mannered. So, here is it. "Sorry about the rude cat, the doesn't like others much" she said. Technically, she is not asking sorry for herself. Savvy, you prideful creature? "He doesn't like people, except for me, that it" Ofcourse, I am his first, best and sweet owner.
She cast a sideways glance at her twin. Zyanya was a bit repelled by the sight of blood. She was concerned that her sister might feel awkward.
Now that is awkward.
"Are you really sure you don't want to do anything about it?" she asked, looking at her arm. She moved closer to examine the wound. "We could ask some senior or adult out there to clean it up" she suggested. Boy, why more seniors?
Aphrodite wanted to calm Amara, she really is alright. Aidan and Theo had teach spells to heal some wounds, they use it when they're done playing Quidditch. "I'm fine, Amara. Check this out," she said as she pulled the wand is in her pocket and pointed it at the top of the wound she had and said, "Episkey! Tergeo! Scourgify!" Immediately wounds and traces of blood had disappeared and Aphrodite's skin smooth as usual. "I told you Amara, I'm fine," Aphrodite said, smiling at her.

"Your cat is really pretty." She said to Fro. "So are you excited? About going to Hogwarts?" She asked to Fro, softly patting Iris on the back. She was starting to like the cat.
She was glad Iris behaved when she met her new friends and it seems she also likes Zyanya. All things said and done, Amara looked at Fro again. "You really don't want to get into trouble" she said, calmly. "Apparently points-docking-prefects don't like firsties performing spells better than them" Pity. You had to accept talent while it comes.

According to Aphrodite, one thing she will miss is that she no longer met Mother and Father each day, she will be greatly missed them, even now she already missed the sound of Father's laughter as she told him stories, Mother's kisses to both cheeks while stroking it gently, she'll miss those little things. "It's my first time away from Father and Mother, Zyanya. But do you know, I have four older brothers who now attend their own school year at Hogwarts," Aphrodite said, looking toward Zyanya, "I think I'll be okay," she added with a smile. "What about you, Zyanya? How many sibling do you have? except Amara of course," she asked again.

Whoops! Aphrodite was not aware of it. Amara's word are true. She should be more cautious in using a particular spell that first year students should not be able to do so. "That means we have to be careful, right?" she said, winking into Amara. "Oh by the way, which House that you both want to entered?" she asked with a smile.

She was beginning to think he might have been hard of hearing or something. Kneazles were certainly not some cat version of mutts, they were a whole specie to themselves and, if he didn't know, Felix was offended...or...er...he would be if he hadn't dozed off. Still. Gave Kaiden no right to say that.
"Oh?" Lex looked down at her legs too. She gave them a long look before looking over at his and the sleeping kneazle. "I guess you have a point there..." She'd actually never thought of it that way before. How curious.
"Right, toad, same thing. You should listen to Aidan." He should. The toad was safer away than right there. She saw him move it to the further side. Pffft. Like that would make a difference. "And what do you mean he wouldn't get eaten? Do you think I'd walk all the way down these corridors looking for him if I wasn't concerned for the safety of anything that could fall into the 'prey' category?" Felix was a big boy kneazle, he could take care of himself plus he apparently had Aidan. The other animals...not so much.
She watched Kaiden getting all comfy and was set to say something else to Aidan when she saw him pull out candy. Her candy bag was left down in the other compartment with Lottie. "If you're staying then you have to share with us." Yes us, because Aidan might have wanted candy too?
A second later the door flew open again and there was a smiling Mika that turned quickly into a ranting one. Owl poop? Pranks? "Sure, sounds fun! You need help getting cleaned up first?" You know, before you plop down in the compartment smelling like poop.

Zyanya smiled back at her sister relieved. Though she knew Amara was faking the smile, she decided to let it go for now. After all, they had just made up. She saw Amara hold Rush instead of saying something about her conversation with Fro.
Hmm.
Amara would probably not like to indulge in her talk about sisters and feelings. That's the one thing her sister hated. Zyanya smiled. Despite her being weak and Amara always making fun of her, she got her own share of fun through the "feelings thingy" as Amara called it.
She did know that there was not much chance of them being in the same house. They were obviously different. Too different. That's what mom used to say.

She leaned her head back and let her eyes slowly close. Ahh, this was nice. She needed some rest for a tiny bit. Hopefully, a friend would find her and sit with her. She didn't want to be on the train alone, of course... she was just too lazy to go off searching for her friends.
Guess Wade needed to find a place to sit for the ride, he walked through the corridors looking in each compartment.. Full.. full.. full.. Hmm? Wade did a double take on the sight. He saw Ronnie, sleeping it looked like. Heh.
Wade opened the door slowly, not wanting to wake her before closing it. Her luggage was already by her, so Wade sat across from her. She would wake up eventually.

Anyway, she didn't want to be... you know, reported to Professor Lafay for not doing her duty as a prefect. What if her badge was taken away from her, huh? Kat went over to the middle cars and checked on the students there. She peered into one of the compartments and tried to make sure she wasn't really making it obvious that she was doing this. Kat was not one who would butt into a conversation. How much more watching people and talk? It wasn't interesting at all. SIGHS. Moving on to the next compartment...

Leaving Juliet who was falling asleep at the compartment, Christina thought it'll better to let her and she didn't want to bug her. So she preferred to wander around the train. Why did she need to sat at the compartment and watching someone sleeping huh? She didn't know how long this train would arrive at Hogwarts. She's kinda impatient for that. Couldn't you arrive as soon as possible?
Put a strawberry lollipop on her mouth, she just wandered mindlessly entering the middle cars. She noticed around the compartment, seeing that some students were chatting with their fellows. Christina didn't know why she was here and what did she do here. Maybe she should check on Purin, her Russian blue cat that she'd left at the luggage compartment? She'd left him there because he was asleep too. Huh, lazy cat. Heading to the luggage compartment, Christina decided to bing her cat back. But then, she didn't realize that she dropped her candy cane necklace on the floor.

Kat checked on her watch once in a while, seeing if she patrolled enough to leave. Apparently it had only been ten minutes of patrolling, but Kat was impatient. She sighed after dropping her arm to her aside and looked around if anyone needed help or assistance. Cos if they did, Kat was definitely standing there like an idiot. The Hogwarts staff could've provided a little stall at a corner so she could sit while patrolling, but unfortunately they didn't. Sad fact. She saw a girl younger than her get out of a compartment and made her way somewhere, but she didn't need a helping hand. Kat ignored it for a while until she saw something shiny drop on the floor.
The Slytherin Prefect eyed it and went closer to observe it. A candy cane necklace, huh? Maybe it belonged to the girl earlier. Kat snatched the necklace by its chain and jogged over to the girl. "Excuse me?" she called out and caught up with her. "Excuse me, is this yours? You might've dropped it while getting out of your compartment." Kat showed the younger girl the necklace.

She heard footsteps behind her and she didn't really care. Maybe just some firsties played and ran along the cars. Christina then continued her way to the luggage compartment and sucked her lollipop. Huh, kids nowadays were kinda noisy, huh? Hey, mind your own business, Christina Jung! Why did you need to care about this, huh?
But then, she heard someone calling her. She did call her, right? What's wrong? She didn't remember if she was bumping into someone when she was walking through this way or anything else. So, why the heck this person called out her? She turned back and... GASP! She's a prefect! She did notice the green badge on her dress and it was mentioned that she was the prefect. Two things that she knew about Prefects: One, they're older than her. Two, Usually they called someone if that person did something bad. And she didn't think she was doing something bad. She was new here, perfectly stranger. But she's totally chilled because she wasn't wrong. "Yes?" Asked her.
Noticing that the female prefect had her necklace, Christina checked it on herself and... It was her necklace! It must be dropped somewhere when she went out from the compartment. She couldn't help but smile to her. "Yeah, it's mine. Thanks." Well, if this blonde prefect didn't find it Christina wouldn't recognize it. This necklace was her favorite and she didn't let it lose or something else.

Kat will survive being prefect. She would, and she could see that Professor Lafay had enough trust in her to have rewarded her with a badge. And to think it used to be the badge her own daughter, Sierra, had. My, that would've been a lot to process after something like that happened. But right now, it was go time and she had her first Prefect-y duty running at the moment. Besides having to patrol boring compartments with boring people sucked into their boring conversations, she got to do this and it was something way better than watching over students like they needed baby sitters.
Besides, having to chase someone who might've dropped one of their belongings meant running and doing something good. Once Kat had returned the necklace to the girl, she felt a little bit good about herself in the inside. Dunno, but it might've been something Puffer... but whatever.
"You're welcome. I saw it just outside the compartment you came from," Kat said and nodded. She even managed a smile for the younger girl. But something told Kat that this one was an unfamiliar face. Possibly a new student, hmm? "I take you're new to Hogwarts." Based on the obvious, duh. Even Kat didn't know her.

It was soooooo cold on this train, or maybe it was just him. Theo immediately regretted packing his comfiest hoody in his bag, and was wearing crappy shorts and a t-shirt. It would be warm, his mother said. Seriously, you just cannot trust mothers these days. He pulled his knees to his chest and huddled himself together a little bit. It was then that a newbie had joined him. Did she just call him Theo?
Sheesh, he knew he was popular but wow... oh, but he did kind of recognize her. His eyes narrowed a little bit.
Oh yeah, she had a different name. One which he couldn't quite remember, so he just smiled and said. "Hi." She would definitely mention it at some point. "Sure, go ahead." He could find Dora later maybe, because it would be awkward if she joined them here. Since he wanted to kiss her and stuff........
Theo looked cold... in fact he looked the exact opposite of Derry right now, who was wearing her favourite oversized jumper and tights - her mother had insisted she layer up just in case... and since she was from Scotland and knew what the weather would be like, Derry had agreed.
Oh good, he didn't mind. Derry walked into the compartment and sat down in the corner, putting her cat basket down gently next to her - she wasn't about to leave the kitten all on his own. "Thanks..." she said. She wasn't sure if she was supposed to make conversation or not... so she opened her book and pretended to read. She was a little too nervous right now to concentrate, and she'd read Lord of the Rings twice already... But she was also hungry. "...is there somewhere we can get food on the train..?" she asked quietly. Her dad had mentioned something about a trolley but she couldn't remember what he'd said...
Gwen was walking along the train corridor, trying to get to the food trolley. Though, she only got to take a few more steps, when she decided the place was too crowded, and that it was probably better to wait for a while. Hmm. So what? Should she go back to her compartment? Erm… better just stay around. So Gwen opened the door to the compartment she was standing closest to and stepped in.
‘Hellooo Presley’, she greeted cheerfully, not minding to think that the other Ravenclaw would probably be upset because Gwen would interrupt her from her reading.
Mehhh.
Presley looked up when the compartment door opened. Gwen Greene. That didn't bother her. She and Gwen had had some nice conversations in the past. Besides, riding the train all alone all the way back to Hogwarts didn't really sound like a pleasant experience to the seventh year. Especially on her birthday.
"Hey Gwen," she replied, closing her book and sitting up. "How was your summer?" As in, please start talking to me and giving me something to talk to you about.
It was finally here. The day that she had been waiting for what seemed like forever. Hogwarts. It was finally the day that she was going to go to Hogwarts and begin her career at Hogwarts.
A smile was on her face as Alexia boarded the Hogwarts Express. With a smile she walked around for a small while before settling on finding an empty seat in the Middle Cars. It was going to be an adventure. That was for sure. Now she just had to wait to see what would happen as the school year started. And the sorting ceremony where she would find out what house she would be put in. It was all starting and Lexi couldn't wait to find out what more would happen. With a smile she stared out the window and watched as the train started to move.
Having lost sight of Minnie, Ryan weaved through his fellow students in search of her, lugging his trunk behind him. He was pretty sure most of his stuff was full of sand from the incredible beach at Marbella but he could care less. He'd had the most perfect summer with the most perfect person.
Finally catching sight of a mane of blonde hair entering a compartment, Ryan grinned and followed. He opened the door and stepped inside, chuckling a bit at the sight of his girlfriend, sprawled out on the seats. "Comfortable, babe?" He asked, still grinning.
He stowed his trunk onto the shelf above the seats and did the same with Minnie's. Then he plopped down next to the blonde and copied her position, putting his hands behind his head.
"It's really too bad we don't go to a school on the beach." Because that would have been amazing, no doubt.
Minnie basically lay on her seat but she couldnt care less she was so exhausted. The blonde wasnt used to anything anymore, after all all she did was layin the sun all summer and spend her days with the most perfect person she's ever come across. She stretched out her arms and legs a bit and sighed. Why was summer over again? Reality was gonna hit them in a few hours and the girl really didnt like that. Ryan and her had been in their own little bubble the past weeks and Minnie had gotten used to it. Maybe a bit too much.
As the compartment door opened the Slytherin couldnt help but grin back at her boyfriend. Damn, he was so perfect. „Hi there“, she chuckled,“ would be a lot more comfy if you were here“. Patting the space beside her Minnie waited for Ryan to plop down next to her. The blonde had gotten so cuddly and it was all the curly head's fault.
Minnie eyed her boyfriend stowing their trunks onto the shelf above their seats like they weighed nothing. How did he do that? Just as the question popped up in her head she felt Ryan sit down next to her. Almost immediately Minnie moved closer and put an arm around her boyfriend.“Now this is what i call comfy“, she smiled.
A school on the beack? How amazing would that be? They'd be so perfect for that.“ Oh my god“, the sixth year gasped,“ that would be the best thing ever. Maybe i would actually go to lessons then.“ But then again she'd probably just lay in sun. Who liked studying...
What a ridiculously terrible train ride it had been so far. Like, for real. Garrick held Sophocles close to his side as he slid open the empty compartment and shut the door back behind him. Like, he hoped NO ONE aside from Benjy came in to find him. He was unsure about this whole socializing thing his parents had been ranting at him about. SIGHS.
Flopping into the seat he pulled the docile kitty into his lap and absently stroked his fur as he pressed his forehead to the glass and closed his eyes. Perhaps hiding in the tower again wasn't such a bad idea this term... after all he was interrupting people, invading personal space, and getting up to other non gentlemanly things already... SIGHS AGAIN. He would just keep his eyes shut and hope he could get to the school without further incident.
KNOCK KNOCK.
Benjamin had spied Garrick through the glass, and slipped inside the compartment with a crooked grin without waiting for a reply. "Howdy," he said, flopping down on the seat opposite his cousin, and putting his feet up on the seat in front. "Where've you been hiding? I had to go raid the food trolley by myself..."
Which was a pity indeed. But would explain the licorice wand tucked behind his ear and making his hair stick out at weird angles.
It was only now his noticed the look in his cousin's eyes. "You okay mate?"

FROWN.
Garrick heard the compartment door slide open and cringed inwardly. PLEASE don't let it be an annoying first year right now... he mightn't be able to hold his tongue.
And then he heard the voice. His eyes snapped open and he casually placed Sophocles on the seat next to him. Turning his head to look at his COUSIN he narrowed his eyes and scowled. A SCOWL was not a face one saw on an Ogden often.
"You mean you ACTUALLY want to be seen with me? Seems the sound of even my name irritates you according to others." His typically mellow voice had risen an octave or two as he spoke...
And then without warning he rose from his seat and within two strides he closed the distance between he and his cousin and swung his fist hard at his jaw.

He deserved IT!
Was that, a scowl on Garrick's face? But he never scowled! Reponded with sarcasm? Yes. Scowling. No.
Scowling was Benjy's territory.
Benjy blinked.
...
And blinked again.
...
"Why wouldn't I?" Benjy frowned, but before he could work out what he was going on about, his cousin had crossed the compartment and planted his fist firmly into Benjy's jaw.
OW.
He grimaced, and quickly rose to his feet, his own fist clenching by his side as his other hand felt along his jawline. Nothing broken. "Care to tell me what that was for?" he asked, jaw set. He didn't mind being Garrick's punchbag if there were reasons. PROPER reasons.
If not, well, Benjy wasn't immune to laying a few punches himself. It wouldn't be the first time.
