Annabeth was filling her stomach with syrup and nuts. From time to time she remembered of biting her peppermint toad. All those sweet could get her sick again. She was applying herself to doing her homework and didn't want to stop until she have done what was supposed to do. But what, exactly, she was supposed to do? She had already tasted three different syrups, they had wonderful tasty, mostly when mixed. And now that they were cold and no more had the nauseating sweet steam, she couldn't refrain herself from eating and eating more and more syrup!

Asher and her had joined Alec and the others.

"Hi guys!" she grinned "I'm Annabeth! My syrup is one of those Creamy Caramel
over there" she pointed towards the table with the syrups and toppings. "It taste wonderful if mixed with Asher's syrup!" She nodded. "yum... You should try!" Anna licked her lips. And then she took another bite on her peppermint toad, returning the toad leftover into her pocket.

He wanted to dig into his ice cream nooooooooow, but he needed to get the rest of his toppings first. "Over there you say? I'll add some of those and then let you know on a scale of 1 to legendary how delicious your syrup is."

SKIPPIIIIING into the great hall, Medea followed her nooooose, even though she couldn't smell anything until she actually got close enough to the cauldrons. Her little mechanical spider followed after her, making a lot more "CLINK" and "CLANK" sounds than usual...as well as it was missing a leg...while she scooped a great big dose of ice cream in a bowl JUST FOR HERSELF. "WHO HAS THE GUMMY BEARS??" WHOOO? She heard the words! Those little gummy candies were de-lic-ious!

"MEDEEEEEEEEEA! LOVELY TO SEE YOU AGAIN!" he sang as he pranced over towards his friend. Friend? More than friend? He wasn't sure what all was going on there to be honest, but logic and emotions were pulling him in polar opposite directions at the moment.

As he entered the large double doors, the Captain blinked, trying to adjust to the sudden BRIGHTNESS. Glitter...His cauldron was suddenly bedazzled with colorful glitter. He tried not to cringe too much as he carried it over to join all the others. Setting it down, he spied the "Decadent Fudge" name.

Hmm.

Fake!smile in place, though. No one needed to know that he literally hated his surroundings at the moment.

"Who wants to try my chocolate syrup?!"

Also, while he waited to cure feed the others...he grabbed a bowl...but instead of filling it with ice cream, he got some of the pickles. These seemed safe enough to eat...

Healer Tillstorm followed Minerva and Prefect McCarthy into the Great Hall. She wanted to make sure the girl ate the ice cream with LOTS of syrup on it. And to make sure that was going to happen she needed to talk to the one person that might end up stopping her.

"Prefect McCarthy," she said as she tapped the bot on the shoulder. "I'd like to speak with you, over there." As in away from your girlfriend, where no one could hear what she was about to say.

Now what to put on her ice cream besides the many different syrups. Hmmm. Ella walked along and smiled at the different options, a giggle escaping her when she saw the pickles. Was Kitty!Wade here somewhere? He had to be here! The blonde wanted to laugh with him about this cause she knew he'd appreciate it. The whole team would, actually. BEAM!

Settling on some crushed up cookies first, the sixteen year old began scooping them into her dish. That's when she heard a very familiar voice call her name and only two people called her 'Miss Ella.' One was Sir Treyen, of course, and sadly she knew he wasn't in attendance. Mini!frown. Could she have ice cream with him really soon, though? She missed his face lots. The other person who called her that was Airey and he was here. "Professorrrrrr!" She called out in a sing-song voice, waving at him. "I don't have them but I'm sure they're here with the rest of the toppings!" So him and Professor Romanos could share a bowl of ice cream with gummy bears and be in love and stuff. They TOTALLY could. Ella approved and everything. BEAM!

And then there was an ickle!Kace. N'awww. The blonde gave him a hair ruffle and a beam cause she rather liked the little guy. "Hey Kace! Course I'll try some. I'm getting around to the syrups next, okay?" She wanted some of the toppings first, though. "You should try mine too. I made some of the caramel syrup." Yup, she did. Mmmmm.

She continued on her topping quest as she was joined by little Asher. Awww. He was a cutie pie too! "Hey Asher, thanks for the invite." He was an awesome kid, Asher was. Polite too. Oh and he had a little friend? Merlin, she was a first year magnet today. "Hey there, Annabeth. I'm Ella!" And she made some caramel too? Good choice. "I'll have to give both of those a try, then."

She should've GUESSED he would be here!

"AIREEEEEEY! LOVELY TO SEE YOU AGAIN AS VELL!" Still no Leo though. He was missing all the ice cream and flavor enhancing syrups. Nevertheless, it was pushed faaaar from her mind when Airey, dear sweet helpful and ever fantastic Airey, told her who had the gummy bears. Ella. Ellaaaa. ELLA! WHERE WAS MISS ELLSABAAA?

"OOOOOHH THANK YOU!"

Medea just scooped a big portion of the butterscotch on her ice cream when she heard the second most amazing piece of information. There was chocolate syrup. And chocolate syrup made her think of nutella. And nutella was delicious...which made chocolate delicious...which would make ice cream delicious since two delicious things would make up one super fantastic delicious dish.

"I VOULD!" CUE THE HAND RAISE! And...scoop of ice cream intoooo her mouth. But...yes.

She would try it!

OH YEAH! SYRUP.

"Kace want to try my syrup?" she asked, showing him her sparkly cauldron. "Oh, I have no idea." She took a bit of Kace's syrup and added it to her ice cream. She took a bite and all of a sudden, her grin vanished.

She sudden felt as though something had been taken from her. Something important. She flashed back to when her beloved dog died when she was four, and her sense of loss even then. She was surprised to find a warm tear had been created and slipped down her face. She turned to Kace to try and distract herself.

"How's Quidditch?" she asked, hoping he wouldn't notice the obvious tear on her face as she took another spoonful of ice cream.

ICE CREAM!

Because why not? It was all just extra excellent, and Professor Flamsteed was also here! Best after class experience ever, right??? RIGHT!

And this also saved her a trip to the kitchen or Airey's office, you know? Those were the BESTEST places to get ice cream...and the Great Hall, too, she supposed, which is why it didn't take long for her to take her bowl and add some ice cream and sprinkles, yes, chocolate sprinkles...

So, naturally, when sweets were being offered in her general vicinity, she went to check it. out. It turned out to be the Slytherin Captain's concoction, which made normally would have made her slightly intimidated, but not today. Today she walked right up to the cu-...blonde boy and smiled. "Hi there! I'll try some, please!" And without much hesitation, dipped a clean spoon into the syrup. She hadn't even bothered to grab some ice cream yet, seeing as his was the first she was trying, but she knew it would be good anyway. And she was right! "Mmmm, wow! Dylan that's really good! Great job!" Yes, she knew his name, because who didn't really? And she wasn't even bothered that he probably didn't know hers, so she just went on. "Mine's marshmallow if ya want to try it!"

Already, her eyes were scanning the room for the other flavors to try.

Awar lifted her head to see the two little firsties she loved peeking at her. She shrugged, "I don't know. One minute I'm feeling super awesome and the next...I'm not." She took a bite, BUT THIS ICE CREAM WAS SO GOOD!!! "Don't mind me, friends." She ruffled their hair like Alec-Bear and Manolo do it to her.

"Potions Homework, Headmistress." Hecate said with a shrug. "How are you feeling, Headmistress? Giddy? Excited? Full of Glee?" She asked the woman... would she burst into song, like the weird man?

Hecate turned to the boy. "I'll keep that in mind Odessa... though we won't need to I'm sure. And you should have some yourself. It's quite... tasty." She said looking at everyone.

She REALLY wanted ice cream. Like, really. Really really. But.. "... no. I'm not touching that bowl. I'll eat loads of ice cream without the syrup later." And if Cactus was here, he'd be agreeing with her. Where was Mo? She needed back up on this. Alice glanced around for him when she wasn't eyeing the bowl disdainfully, not bothering to waste toppings on it. That syrupy stuff wasn't getting in her mouth.

"I'll eat cake bits if they haven't been near that stuff we brewed," she decided, beaming at the Slytherin. Because cake bits. Yum. Even more on ice cream, but she couldn't have any of that without being ladled more syrup, could she? Did they have jelly slugs?

Ethan smiled as Minerva threw her arms around his neck and he hugged her back. He figured she'd be excited, but he was just happy that she'd possibly be cured from this whole mess. Maybe they could go back to being happy again. "Yes, eat the ice cream.." he smiled back at her, though probably not as widely. Just as long as she had lots of syrup on it.. "Of course.. no more fighting and definitely no breaks." He mellowed a bit at the thought of their last fight but they had come to an understanding even before he had his hopes up for the party and there wasn't going to be any more fighting either way. He would make sure of that.

He shook his head gently. "I'm not going to make anyone mad, I promise." No, he wasn't about to make another professor mad again. Maybe he should talk to Lafay or something.. or maybe not. He wasn't sure he wanted to risk anything. He blinked at her as she shouted across the room, then squinted to see who she was addressing.. Oh, Wade, right? The Hufflepuff got a small smile and wave from the Prefect. Ethan thought he was pretty cool.. and he was fairly certain he was under the effects of the ice cream. Eat up, Potter.

He turned back to Min with puppy dog eyes. "Can I have some Reese's Cups, too?" He sort of upset him that he felt like he could no longer share their special dessert - chocolate ice cream with crumbled Reese Cups - together anymore.. but even the thought of consuming ice cream turned his stomach. He'd deal with the muggle candy. He then grinned widely at her. "I did make chocolate.. I was hoping you'd say yes, I knew it was your favorite." He helped to ladle it on her ice cream, then shrugged. "No.. I'm certain she's not poisoning anyone. Not with the Headmistress here." He chuckled lightly. "Who knows.. maybe she actually has a nice side to her after all." Er.. well.. he really didn't know what to say.. but he really wanted her to eat that syrup. Though he didn't really have to worry much because she dug right in. "It's good? You think? I'm glad you like my syrup.. guess I can cook, after all." He grinned at her, then looked around for another ice cream victim to eat his syrup.

Oh was that Eliza? He was certain she was affected by the ice cream as well and she needed the cure. He was about to head over to her when he felt a tap on the shoulder. Turning around, his eyes grew wide as he came face to face with Healer Tillstorm. She wanted to speak with him? He blinked as the panic rose in his throat and thought of the last time he encountered her before today. Had she seen him hug Minerva? He knew she was very much opposed to PDA and even that little bit might get him into trouble with her. But he certainly wasn't going to defy her. "Yes, ma'am," he nodded and proceeded to follow her to wherever she wanted him to go, his heart thudding in his chest. This couldn't be good.

Whoa, this was...interesting. And Penelope couldn't deny that seeing all the ice cream and the toppings and everything made her hungry and want to eat it all. She had to force herself to remember that this ice cream made people act weird and overly happy, and she knew she didn't want to end up like that. But this syrup stuff, maybe, wouldn't add to that? Hopefully. Somehow.

Setting her bedazzled and colorful cauldron down in a free spot, she looked around and then raised her voice over all the other chatter, hoping it would bring some of the others to her. "Hey, who wants to have some awesome chocolate syrup?" Maybe that would work.

Kace knew he was gonna get the hair ruffle. He squirmed cutely underneath it and smiled. So Ella made the caramel syrup. Hmm...he wasn't a HUGE fan of caramel but he would try it. As Kace was talking with Mairgold, he would try her syrup very soon. Maybe after his first scoop of ice cream. "Alright i will try yours after i get another scoop. What syrup did you make?" he asked her.

Then he noticed her mood change. He eyed her suspiciously. "Marigold...are you feeling alright?" he asked wiping away a tear from her face with his thumb. He even gave her a napkin to wipe it away.

Minerva was SO HAPPY.. She really could not get any happier.. This was GREAT... Her and Ethan were done fighting, he finally saw it her way. There was nothing wrong with her eating the ice cream. NOTHING...He finally was agreeing with her. No more fighting, no more almost breaking up. She never wanted to hear those words again. Taking another half bite of the ice cream she stopped before having the whole bite because someone was next to her. "KITTY.. Oh my that's a lot of toppings." Her eyes grew at the sight of his bowl. She crumbled the Reese Cups onto the ice cream and smiled. "There you go Kitty... If you need more come find me."

Just then she looked to the cutest puppy dog eyes she had ever seen. She beamed at him and her focus was gone. What were they doing.. Those green eyes were just... Oh that's right ice cream... yummy ice cream. She giggled happily, "Of course my hot keeper boy can have Reese Cups." She handed over her bag, "They are in there, just take as many as you want." She bounced, wanting to sit, but feeling like she couldn't no she was just way to excited, but then... Her eyes grew wide. WACKA DOODLE WAS TOUCHING ETHAN.. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.. This was not happening not here. She stuck her bowl all most in Tillstorm's face. "Want some Ice Cream Ma'am? It actually has Reese Cup's in it this time.. SEEEEEEEEEEEEE."

Minerva was just to happy at the moment, but she felt terrified as well as she heard Ethan say he would talk to her alone.. "No" is all she really got out, her eyes snapped to where Lafay was. Were they planning something again. Didn't they do enough. Her fear building she stood pounding spoon fulls of ice cream in her mouth. Yes this was comfort to her, at this rate the ice cream was going to be gone in seconds.

WAIT! DID SOMEONE SAY AWESOME CHOCOLATE SYRUP!? Tag looked around for the voice and found that it had come from Shark Bait, aka Penelope. Clutching his ice cream Tag bounded quickly over to her and stood across from her. There was a huge smile spreading over his face! "I want awesome chocolate syrup! Give it to me sista!" Tag said enthustiastically. Of course he didn't literally mean that last part. "Err, please!?" Just for manners and all.

And thankfully she didn't have to wait long because suddenly Tag appeared, ready to try some. Awesome! He seemed awfully happy and excited but...she wasn't sure whether that was normal Tag or the ice cream. Buuuut it didn't matter, long as he was okay otherwise.

Grinning at him, Penelope grabbed a nearby bowl of ice cream and let the charmed ladles pour some of the chocolate over the ice cream then handed it to him. He could add his own toppings since she didn't know what he'd want. "There you go! Hope you like it and stuff." And if it he thought it was bad...hopefully no one would notice.

Good little prefect. The boy wasn't going to try and put up a fight about talking to her. "Follow me," she said as she turned to head away from the crazy puff girl. But not before there was a bowl of ice cream being pushed towards her face.

"I do not want any ice cream Miss Wheatborn. How about you eat it. All of it. Go back for seconds if you'd like. Try all the different syrups while you're at it. I hear they taste wonderful." Cece wouldn't know for sure though since she was not a person who thrived on eating sweets. "Now if you'll excuse us, I have some business to discuss with the prefect. Alone." As in you're not invited to this conversation.

She then turned back to the prefect. "As I said, follow me Prefect McCarthy." She then lead him across the room where no one would be able to hear or butt into their conversation.

Professor Romanos was up first...and he offered her a wide, brilliant grin as she stepped closer. She'd definitely been affected by the ice cream...Her and Professor Flamsteed...

Grabbing a ladle, he dipped it down into the potion and scooped a generous amount up. He motioned for her to bring the bowl closer...and when she had, he drizzled it slowly. "I hope you like it, Professor. I worked really hard on it." Yep, he totally had...


Oh look! The Hufflepuff that was actually a Slytherin..."Lotus..." Hello.

He dipped some out for her...pouring it over her ice cream. Had she'd been effected by the ice cream? It was hard to tell...


...and he was STARING at the Ravenclaw...

She'd just dipped her own out...Well, HMPH. Dylan wanted to do it...but at least she'd complimented him. That was fine, he supposed. "Well, help yourself to however much you'd like." Nod nod.

"I hope you like it!" Fake!excitement!..."...and sure. I'll have some of your marshmellow sauce."

Ahem. A smidgen...

"Does anyone else want to try my chocolate sauce?!" Huh? HUH? The Slytherin Captain flashed a toothy grin to all, hoping to get the appropriate attention...

Tag's eyes got real big when the chocolate syrup covered onto the ice cream. Mmmmm. Yummm. He then stared at some more. This was great. Now he had enough more good stuff on his ice cream. The blonde boy dug deep into the ice cream, chewing vigorously, and having a very awkward closed smile cause he was just that happy!

"I think I will like it! I mean Penelope Greenwell has served me the food of... ice cream?" Tag said after a loud gulp. "How are you? I haven't seen you around...Or, I haven't.....ta-talked to you in a while. I'm not avoiding you...I swear..I mean.." He slapped the ice cream with the spoon, and looked at it with a slight frown. It was just then he'd realized he hadn't hung out much with Penelope this term. "I'm sorry. I haven't talked to you in a while. That's bad of me. BAD TAG!" He said scolding himself. Then, he let go of the spoon and started to punch the side of his head. He must be punished for his actions.

Ethan's eyes grew even wider as Minerva shoved a bowl of ice cream in Tillstorm's face. Was she crazy? he wanted to shout.. she knew what she could provoke.. but he didn't want to risk any retribution either so he remained silent. But he did reach into Minerva's bag as the Healer addressed his girlfriend and he pulled out a package of Reese's cups. Shoving them in his pocket for his last meal later, he gave her a small smile and said, "Thanks.. don't worry, I'll be fine." Or he hoped. The Headmistress was here so she wouldn't do anything too horrible.. or was she leading him away from her?

His eyes snapped back to the Healer's as she addressed him again. Nodding, he followed her across the room away from the crowd. He was still nervous as to what she was going to say, but being around other people, even if they were out of earshot, made him slightly more comfortable. "You needed to speak to me, ma'am?" he said, as respectfully as she could. She was real big on that, right?

That sounded like a brilliant arrangement. Hopefully he'd tell her it was legendary even if it wasn't. She wouldn't mind. Not at allllll, but she didn't need him telling her that because she KNEW for a fact that it was one of the best things she'd ever tasted.

"While you're at that table, will you get me some more crushed chocolate bars for my ice-cream, please? I have to stay here and watch my cauldron, get more people to try it and all that."

It was true. Nodnodnod.

She ate more of her ice-cream and grinned up at him.

"I still have loads more syrup if anyone's interested!!!"

Minerva watched as they left she was not liking this one bit, but there was nothing she could do. So she turned and watched everyone else. THIS WAS SOOOOO FUN. Shoving more ice cream in her mouth, because it was so good and Ethan was alone with the Healer, and she just needed to make herself stop thinking bad things and stay in the party spirit. Moving towards the ice cream, she filled her bowl again. She yawned a bit, why was she yawning she wasn't tired. She was excited about all of this.

Not caring about topping this time she just put the chocolate syrup from her cauldron on her ice cream. She didn't like the other flavors so she was keeping to the chocolate for now. "Does anyone need some chocolate I have more in my cauldron." She announced to really no one. Everyone really seemed like they were with their own groups anyway and she was just kind of there now that Ethan was with queen crazy.
