The Badgers, reigning House champions, and third place Quidditch Cup finishers, slightly dusty gold and black banner representing their house. The place settings are the same as those from the start-of-term feast, since not all students can be trusted to remember their Dixie plates, Solo cups, and plastic silverware. Enjoy the food!

So Jory hadn't even packed yet? Maybe he should have waited then too. "I'm all packed to be honest, but I did have trouble keeping it packed." He finally looked up and at Jory. "We always seemed to leave with more than we came with." Oh umm...he hadn't meant for that to be in past tense already. Where was Renesmee? They should all be sitting together.

Instead she focused on Tobias and Bobo, smiling a bit more as Oakey commented on what a cool monkey it was. "The coolest." She added quietly, nudging Tobias playfully in the side.
"I mean if it's okay with Ella's family, and I use the front door for those visits." He added quickly. Probably shouldn't get on Ella's bad side today.

"Stay."
Here.
At Hogwarts.
Really, Oakey wished he had a little stuffed Moose or something to go along with Ella's Elephant, and Tobias' Monkey. He gave the boy a smile, and it turned instantly into a frown. "You know I'd like to if I could, but I can't Oakey stood up, then without much warning scooted Ella to the side just a tad as he sat down beside Tobias. "If I'm around I'll make visits in Hogsmeade, and I'll stop by to see you and Ella, and Alec, and everyone play Quidditch." Oakey hadn't admitted it, but before their last match against Slytherin. When Tobias, and he were hopping around the benches in the Locker Room. Oakey felt like he was an ickle Firstie again. He wanted that feeling now more than ever, but Tobias needed to cheer up, and be the bench hopping Hufflepuff Keeper that he was that day.
~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Alec arrived next. Jory gave him a small smile and a sort of cheery wave. Well, as much cheery he could put into it, anyway. He also offered a smile to the girl (Elodie) whom he didn't really knew but saw frequently around.
"Thanks, Ella. I know you'll do excellently, too,'' Jory replied. "You nervous?'' He remembered how much the nerves had bothered him during OWL time, many times coming close to panic attacks. He looked around and spotted the Head Girl. "Hi, Renesmee!'' She would be graduating too. So many Puffers were leaving. Alyssa would have been finishing too. He missed her.
Kace! Jory waved back to the soon to be second year. Kace was another one of the students that would do Hufflepuff proud. "Hi!'' he called, trying to sound cheerful.
Jory grinned a bit. "Good thing I haven't packed as yet then,'' he joked and then nodded at Oakey. "That's true.'' Though he never really took the time to think about that. "When are you gonna go write in that memory book?'' Jory had been eyeing it for a while but could not bring himself to go right now.

Well, it was the end it looked like. Wade walked into the Hall making his way towards his table in his onesie, once again. His face however was blank on his way over. This year sure had its fun moments and.. well, you know. Wade looked towards the staff table at the empty seat nearest to the Headmistress. He frowned as he thought back.
SPOILER!!:

Wade then sighed..Yeah.. here's to you, Mr. Firth.. It would take a while before that heavy weight in his stomach subsided over that.. Seeing his friends however lessened it, as he lightly smirked before squeezing himself into a seat between them. "Hey guys." He then looked towards the graduating ones. Hmm.. He really was going to miss them. "You all set?"
With pride, Ness made her way to the Hufflepuff table. She was proud of the house cup as well as quidditch, because Ella had done well for a first time Captain. But yes, no goodbyes yet. Possibly no goodybyes at all because right now those were the hardest.
So could she have food? Anything to distract her?
Tobias looked up just in time to see Ness join the table and he wibbled a little bit. He'd forgotten about her seventh year status until that moment. He didn't know many seventh years, but the few he did know...
Well... he didn't want them to leave.
Like at all.
Biting his lip, Tobias looked away.

"Me? Yeah... yeah, it'll be great to see Dad again," His Dad... the man wasn't going to be disappointed in him, right? "It'll be nice to get away from Hogwarts for a bit too. ... Except... Quidditch. It'll be weird not to play for a while." Frown.
Tobias gave a kind of half shrug with only one shoulder. He wasn't entirely sure WHAT was going to happen this summer but he hoped that he'd be able to visit Diagon Alley a whole bunch. And maybe see some of his old friends? Maybe? Or not.
"Just seeing what happens," he replied. "I can't fly though, not at home." He lived in a muggle neighbourhood. So that was another thing to be morose about. Where oh where had the bright side gone.
Maybe... maybe there was something nice? Tobias thought hard. "I live near a beach. Might go there."
Talking was EXHAUSTING. Tobias squeezed Bobo's arm again to reassured himself he was still there. It was comforting, you know?
Not wanting to bring the mood down even more and make everyone more miserable and be THAT GUY, Toby tried his super hardest to keep up the smile. It was hard being social when you were sad and tired. Was this how people usually felt? Was this a sign of nearly being a teenager?

The sixteen year old looked at the first year thoughtfully before replying, "I don't know, kid, but I've got some cookies for later if there's not. I'm great at sharing too." And she poked his nose with elephant's stuffed arm before looking back down at the table.
Toby got booped. Right on the nose.
He couldn't help but smile again at that. SEE. Being around his fellow Hufflepuffs was good. What TOBY wished was that he could be with them when he went back home, where the dementors were definitely not here. His new House family were the best.
Cookies then. "Awesome," Tobias nodded. Yes. That was good. A bit of cookie sharing after the feast, maybe in the common room. Yes... Why was Ella so nice? Toby didn't know, but he sure appreciated it.
Vaguely, Tobias noticed the captain get up and give someone else a hug. He surreptitiously moved his hand so he could feel elephant's arm with his fingertips. For comfort, you know?
But then he was distracted by Oakey.

Tobias totally WASN'T pouting. Not at all.
I mean YEAH there was a slight lip protrusion but that was just... his face.
He'd visit... that was okay. Yeah. And watch Quidditch, but then Toby couldn't see Oakey unless he stared at the stands. Hmmm...
"You... you could stay and help-" Tobias turned his head and glanced up at the head table just as he realised what he was about to say. Mr. Firth. But Oakey couldn't help Mr. Firth because nobody could help Mr. Firth. He went silent for a minute and his eyes glistened but he didn't let himself cry because Tobias didn't DO that. He turned to look at Oakey again with those big, shining, blue eyes.
Maybe Oakey wanted to go, and Tobias was being selfish for not wanting that. "Okay," said quietly and with a nod. Was it okay to hug him?
It didn't really matter because Tobias leaned over and gave the Head Boy a quick hug anyway and just hoped it would be okay. "Okay," he said again.
And was that Wade coming over? Well... obviously. Who else had those kind of curls. Tobias gave the older boy a little wave as he joined the table, and even made Bobo wave as well.
Wait... was Wade a seventh year? Toby hoped not. There were already too many.

Then after Kace was done talking to Marigold, he noticed Ella his favorite quidditch captain walk by. He smiled and waved to her. "Hey Miss Captain Ella." he joked with her. Then he went over and hugged her. Then he noticed Ella didn't know Marigold. Might as well introduce them right? Yup he should.
"Oh Ella, have you ever met my friend Marigold yet?" he said taking her hand and walking her over to her.
"Oh! Hey Kace." The edges of Marigold's mouth turned up slightly. Kace could always make her smile. She sighed. "I know! I cannot believe the year is already over." Then, before she got all sad, she said, "You have to write to me! I am going to miss everyone so much!"But especially him. She didn't say it, but it was there.
"Hi Ella," she said, grinning. It was the end of the year, at the final feast, and she was meeting new people. She hugged the older girl because of the irony of it. But even endings are new beginnings.

And speaking of firsties. Where was Kace?
Jory looked around again to Laura arrive and he instantly flashed back to the Arithmancy finals a few terms ago for which he and Laura had partnered up. Too bad they hadn't done so a few more times.
And then Min arrived. Jory felt as if he would absolutely die. Min was one of his really good friends and he would miss her terribly. No more friendly banter about who would get more points for the term. He looked away, not trusting himself to look at her. He had promised himself he would not have any tears in his eyes. Goodbyes were hard enough already and tears just made everything ten times worst. However, he did greet her."Hey, Min.''
Thankfully, he was distracted by Oakey. "Oh, well... forever, I suppose,'' the badger replied. "I was just sitting in the dorm. Haven't even managed to pack as yet.'' How was it he and Oakey shared a dorm for seven years but had never hung out much? "Hey, still aiming for Gringotts?'' He smiled a bit at the memory of their internship at the Bank two years ago.
Sad. This day. It was sad. And Ronnie knew someone who else who was probably sad...her Jory Bear. After saying hello to her fellow lions, she literally sprinted over to the Hufflepuff table and stood behind him, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend tightly. She leaned in close so that she could look at him and she frowned at how sad he looked. Poor thing. She gave him a kiss on the cheek and then took a seat next to him, grabbing his hands and entwining their fingers together. "You doing okay, sweetheart?" she asked quietly before leaning her head on his shoulder and giving his hand a squeeze.
Then she saw Oakey sitting near as well and she gave him a small wave. "Hello, Oakey." she said. They hadn't really talked much but she remembered meeting him on the playground a few years back.
She still isn't talking much but you are all in here...
Puff by day, snake by night | Mj's bestie | Always UP to Something...
Minerva heard more chatter and knew her table was getting busy. She needed to look up and be social. She was always one of the most social, but how could she even get words out. Hearing her name she looked up and met Jory's eyes with her blue. As soon as the eye contact happened her lip trembled. "H..hi Jory" She had to focus on the table to try to keep it together. Why was she having so much trouble this term. Without looking up and with a shaky voice, "you won..." He would know what that meant, she knew he would. She really wanted to give him a hug and wish him luck, but her words weren't coming to her and well she still wasn't able to hug anyone other than Ethan.
Glancing up at Oakey Minerva opened her mouth and shut it twice. She didn't even know really what to say to him. Were they even friends at this point? She wasn't exactly sure. So she just looked back at the emptiness in front of her.
Seeing Laura Minerva just nodded, she knew Laura was still upset with her from the outburst a week or so ago, but it wasn't personal, Minerva was just not able to stand social interactions at the moment. It was hard enough to just be here. She wasn't sure what else the fifth year wanted her to do.
Next she made eye contact with ELLA, Alec, and Toby giving them each a small wave, she couldn't help but give Toby one of the smallest smiles as he waved his stuffed animal. So cute Toby, she loved it, but words were still just not coming to her and she was afraid talking could end up with her in a hug and she just wasn't sure she could handle that. So she let her eyes go back to her robes and she acted like there was a string she had to get.
Hearing yet another puff she looked up to see Elodie and gave the girl a nod. Why was she unable to just be chipper and hug everyone, congratulate them on the house cup, and be happy. This was happy summer was here, they won the cup, why could she not be happy. Pulling out some tissues she dabbed at her eyes trying to keep them as dry as she could.
Blissy and Nessie were the next two to get small waves from Minerva. Blissy she would be seeing again next term so that wasn't to hard. One of her strong little badgers that she adored. She hadn't spent much time with her this term, she hadn't spent much time with many of them really, but she had her reasons and he should be coming in soon she would think. Eyes scanning to make sure he hadn't entered without her realizing. Turning back she forced a voice for Ness, "Congrats Nessie... You were a great head girl this term." Her eyes shifted back to the table as more tears fought to slide down her cheeks, but she caught them with her tissue before they could.
Aww Two first years had entered without her noticing, one was giving Minerva a wave and she waved back at Kace. He had been such a great addition to their house this term. His sister should be very proud. Minerva wasn't sure who the next first year was [Maragold] but she got a wave from the sixth year as well.
She couldn't help but put her elbows on the table and her head in her hands for a few minutes trying to get her composure. This was just getting ridiculous, maybe she should have just stayed away when she heard the voice of Kitty Wade and felt him squeeze in next to her. Without really looking at him she spoke softly, "Hey Kitty" and then sighed.
Laura just wanted this feast to end, she didn't have her favourite Professor to cling to which was so bad because Laura was scared the Dementors might come back and she didn't want that to happen, she had produced a Patronus but the Dementors had eaten it up without it effecting them, was her spell work that bad and if it was how was she supposed to pass her OWLS, she was going to fail them badly.
Laura suddenly felt a tear coming down her face and she quickly used her robe to push it away, this year she had come to realise that being a monkey most of your life meant that you'd probably fail all your exams and that you had no one to blame but yourself.
Annabeth arrived at the Great Hall. It was amazing! All those yellow and black banners, people talking excited - and some of them not so excited 'poor seventh year!' It was easy for her to empathise for them. Hogwarts at its worst would be no worse than her own home. She breathed and her eyes welled with tears. Where were those wizards and witches who had helped her to come to Hogwarts now? Perhaps a social worker witch would be waiting for her at the station and then she wouldn't be forced to come back home. Home. Definitively it wasn't her home. Nor her family. Having a dad who believed that being a pickpocketer was a great job and a mum who loved to ill-treat her friends made Dementors to be cute puppies! And they hated her for being weird, for being a witch! She loved to be a witch! Maybe Professor Hecate could hire her as a nanny... There was always hope... Thinking about it made the girl feeling better. Surely she could volunteer to work with her Potions teacher. No payment, just a roof above her head and some food. No ice cream.
At the Hufflepuff table some familiar faces. Alec was there. "Hi, Alec!" She waved and smiled, waiting for him or someone else who could invite her to join the feast. She looked around. Asher wasn't there yet. Then she noticed Jory at the table. She waved at him. It would be nice if she could sit near to him. Jory was great to her, taught her a lot. "Ji, Jory! I mean, Hi!" She grinned and gave a hopeful look at him. She really want him to invite her to sit next to him.
It would be rude if she wouldn't greet everyone, although she didn't remember their names. Ella, Minerva and the others... It'd be better if she'd wave at everyone. So, she waved: "Hi everybody! Great feast, huh?" She put on her face her best grin.
So this was it. Forrest was going home for two months.
He should be happy, he really should. And he tried to be happy--he'd been trying that since - well, since some time--but it was hard, see? The prospect of getting away from wands and flying killer metal balls and money issues excited him, but only his logic. Deep down, he still wanted to mope and glare at everyone. He walked slowly into the Great Hall, following a group of older students in case of a dementor, he made his way to the Hufflepuff Table and sat somewhere insignificant as he tried to be insignificant himself. There were people leaving, people he liked, and... he clutched onto a keyring of Tottenham Spurs Football Club like he did when he didn't want some stuff to happen but knew they were out of his control.
Keeping his head down... he'd learnt that it worked with dementors and his mood certainly ordered him so.
Making his way down to the feast, Asher wasn't sure if he wanted to be in the Great Hall. Noticing that most of his house was already at the Hufflepuff table, he assumed it was safe to take a seat.
"Hi all." he greeted as he sat down. He wasn't particularly hungry and really hoped there wasn't any ice cream. Nope. He may never eat ice cream again.
Fixing his robes and looking up, Asher noticed the Hufflepuff banner. "Wow, that's really cool." He smiled and thought back over the year. He had survived potions class, he had survived seeing a calf born (yuck!), and he had survived dementors attacking the school. Not too bad for his first year.

The second year old walked around while she watched the students who were already a the Feast. She didn’t wanted to go home, so she wasn’t in a really good mood. School was better, when she was here she didn’t needed to listen to her parents who were always fighting with each other. And now when she had thought that she had learned to live with the fact that her parents were always angry with each other she had discovered that he mom had divorced her dad while she was here at Hogwarts! She needed to go with her mom and to leave EVERTHING she knew behind! Her home, her friends… She didn’t wanted to leave her home and to live alone with her mom! She wanted to stay with her father, he had always ignored her and she didn’t knew if he cared about her, but she knew that he wasn’t expecting things from her she wasn’t capable of. But… Her dad didn’t wanted to have her! She lowered her head and looked down at the floor while she walked further. And than she spotted the boy she hated, she stared at him and… she blamed HIM for her troubles, she knew that it was not right to do it, but she still blamed him! She wanted to hurt him, to see his UGLY face looking hurt, yes, that would make her day better.. She grabbed something to drink, it didn’t mattered what she had grabbed and walked toward him.
She looked away from him and in a different direction, as if she had been distracted by something else and that she didn’t knew that Forrest was sitting there and then… she tripped not accidently and emptied her drinking cub OVER Forrest, or at last, she suspected that she had done it because she had not been looking in his direction. “Oh sorry… I didn’t looked around me, sorry!!” She yelled with her best innocent voice and looked really shocked at the person who she had tripped over. She really looked chocked so nobody could tell that she had done it on purpose and she looked if her plan had worked and if she had emptied her drinking cub over him.
So this was it. Forrest was going home for two months.

Tobias was just kind of sitting there with Bobo, waiting for the speech to start so he could eat, and basically just staying quiet in the middle of most students' conversations. Just feeling a bit better for being surrounded by his housemates. They were older and he therefore felt protected when he was with them. The height difference help.
The Hufflepuff DID see Forrest come in and sit somewhere further down the table. Toby's face stayed solemn as he eyed his dormmate. Forrest looked at least as sad as Toby felt. AND Forrest went off on his own. Maybe he needed a friend.
Tobias looked around at the older students and wondered if maybe they wouldn't mind if he invited Forrest to join. Of course they wouldn't, they were way too nice.

She really looked chocked so nobody could tell that she had done it on purpose and she looked if her plan had worked and if she had emptied her drinking cub over him.
Then he heard a loud voice which was... vaguely familiar.
Looking up, Tobias spotted the girl from that day by the swamp. With the dementors. He couldn't quite tell what had happened, he wasn't all that focused on his surroundings, but if the girl was sorry, then something must have happened. Either way, Tobias was planning on heading up there anyway, may as well make it now.
Glancing to Ella, Tobias muttered a quick "Don't let anyone steal my seat" and manouvered so he could momentarily leave his place. Then he got up and made his way over to Forrest.
Wow... this took up a lot of energy, but it was happening.
"Forrest?" Tobias called over when he was still a slight distance away. Far enough to not really see what had happened, if anything. "Come sit with me?" And everyone. The other boy seemed lonely, and loads of friendly people were over by where Tobias had been sitting.
He looked curiously at the Slytherin and gave her a slight nod. He couldn't remember much about that day at the swamp, having blacked a lot of it out. All he knew was that SHE had been as scared as him, and he'd dragged her to safety. And then Botros had saved them. That was it. Tobias had no reason to believe anything was really awry, after all.

"Hey, Wade,'' Jory greeted the soon to be seventh year. All set to graduate? He never would be; he just shook his head. Why had this day come?
Jory suddenly felt his self enveloped in a bear hug. Only one person at Hogwarts did that. "Hey, Rons,'' he said, forcing one of his goofy grins. It was her last year too and he knew his Ronnie would also be feeling sad so...he had to be strong for her. "I'm fine. You?'' Jory planted a kiss on her cheek. He felt better having her there with him. "You all packed yet?''
Jory's finally looked back at Min but she wasn't looking at him. not even at anyone else. Oh, gosh. Why did this have to be so difficult? "I guess I did,'' he replied but honestly, he didn't feel happy that he did. Min should have won. He would have felt better. "You won't compete with anyone else next term, won't you?'' he asked in a small voice.
Just then Anna arrived. "Hai, Anna,'' the seventh year called and gave a small smile. "Come on over. Enjoyed your first year?'' And another firstie! "Hi, Asher.'' Jory didn't know him much.
This Moment, she was dreading all term, Sitting at this table with him for the last time and the snake was sad, yet she mustered up all of her courage that she could find and slowly made her was over to the Hufflepuff table.
He seemed to be a popular guy today, seemed like no one really cared till it was time to leave, or people just wanted to seem cool saying bye to the head boy. none the less there was a lot of people and maybe this was a bad idea.
She fumbled with her bracelet and pushed back her crazy curly slash wavy hair she was sporting today and had half a mind to turn away and just run, go back to her room and not com back, not till he decided to stay with her or told her she could just not come back and she could go off with him, but he wouldn't do that. HE knew her dreams and what she wanted to do and the only way she could was to stay here, one more year she could do it. At least, she really hoped she could.
So she wanted to run, and that's what her mind was telling her to do but her feet, they had other plans and they marched her right over to the table right behind OAKEY and tapped his shoulder. he had others sitting on wither side of him, what was she to do.. she could always run, before he turned around, before he saw her. but she wanted to be here, so she stayed.

From a few seats away, Renesmee could see Elodie. Her 'badger buddy' or for not much longer at least. The younger badger was probably ecstatic about that and so Nessie left her to it, even if she had to secretly admit to herself she'd miss Elodie...just a bit...a tiny tiny bit.
Blissy was whom she'd spotted next. Rumor had it that her kiddo was leaving Hogwarts too, so of course Ness wanted to speak to her before then. "Um...Blissy?" she called over the table. She was quieter than usual, much quieter. It was hard being all loud when inside all you wanted to do was be alone and away from the people who you'd never be with here again.

... And... there was Bliss. Alec almost got up to go and greet her but... Tag was there too. It would be awkward to go up and say hey, yeah? Or goodbye? And no one wanted to be the awkward third wheel, not even one of the most awkwardest teens around.
Before he could do anything more, however, his eyes landed on LochNessie... and he frowned. If he remembered correctly, LochNessie had been one of the first people to greet him when he came to Hogwarts for the first time. Her and Keefer... and Adeline too. Wobbly!chin.
The boy slid along the bench until he was right near her. He wanted to say something, yes, but nothing really seemed good enough. Maybe he should have remembered something iconic she had said to him before? Back in his first year? Or any of the years? This was definitely a plan for next term... yeah...
A minute or so later, however, he took a deep breath and smiled a little in the redhead's direction. "I puffed out my cheeks extra wide today for one last cheek pinch..." For old time's sake?[/QUOTE]
For a few minutes all the red head could do was look around the great hall and absorb every bit of it she could. One last time. One last time to look at the beautiful Hufflepuff banners along with the other banners of red and gold, silver and green and bronze and blue. One last time to look at the staff table where...Airey was apparently shouting about a pluto? Ummm....okay. That, she didn't need to see again. She flicked her eyes to where James was sitting, a small smile appeared on her face. She's miss her, as well as Hadley but of course she'd do her best to stay in touch. As for Mr. Firth his story was just really sad, but she didn't have much time to herself to think about that.
Just like that someone popped beside her and the gazing of the Great Hall stopped and her eyes now focused on a fifth year boy that she loved like a brother. Alecutie. He got a tiny, weak smile, but it faded as she watched in confusion as he took a deep breathe.
Errrr....Was he okay?
It seemed he was. What he'd just said though. Those words connected to her tear ducts and caused them to produce tears."I..I.." Hiccup. "I..you're so adorable." It was a barely audible whisper. But seriously she loved him so much.

Frown. "Hey, Loch Nessie." That was all the older badger was getting for now cause any more and Ella would cry and yeah, she wasn't ready for that yet. Let the seventh year say other goodbyes first, yeah?
Loch Nessie. The red head turned at her nickname and in front of her,was Ella. The kiddo she was so so proud of this term. She didn't care what they came, but Ella had done an amazing job as Captain this term and she'd be just as great next term.
The frown that was on the blonde's face did not make Ness smile, but she didn't want to anyways. Graduation was a good thing, yeah...but more sad or for now at least. "Hey, Ella." She spoke softly and quietly which was followed by a quick hiccup.
Could they stop? The hiccups.

Jory. She'd never really known him too well but she considered him a fellow. It was his last feast too and it was because of that Nessie felt bad for him. Unless he was one of those people that couldn't wait to leave this place...but she doubted it. He didn't seem like that. Nope.
"Hey, Jory." He got a weak, weak smile his way.

Like at all.
Biting his lip, Tobias looked away.
The new ickles. She wanted to wish them luck on their journey here, there journey that unlike hers still had long to go. With her usual pout the red head scanned the room to see if any of them were actually there yet and it was then that she first spotted Tobias.
He was biting his lip and then just like that he looked away. She could have sworn she saw him wibbling before that lip bite. "Um...Tobias?" She spoke up with her quiet voice.

It was hard. These feelings. Nothing seemed to be making them better. Maybe her first initiative of staying inside her dorm the whole night was a better idea. This. This was all too much for her to bear, and she hadn't even gotten to actual goodbyes yet.
Could you imagine how bad those were going to turn out? MERLIN. Why couldn't graduation just like not exist. Wishful thinking.
Minerva. The red head tried her best to give the not so much younger puff a smile. Those words really meant a lot, even if not everyone would agree with them."I..I..I'veseenbetter...but thank you."Still quiet. Speaking of quiet Min herself had been a little quiet this term and it concerned Nessie, a lot. "Um..have you been okay?" She whispered in a loudish whisper.
------------ Wade and his onesies. He got a small, small smile for that. She'd always remember him as the onesie boy and she actually liked that. It meant she had something funny and good to think about when she looked back.
No answer for his question though, just a head shake. The less talking the less chances of bursting into tears and therefore the better.
More absorbing was what she wanted to do right now anyways, not focus on whether to cry or not. She wanted to absorb every face she could, every colour she could everything of this room. She wanted to remember it forever and like this with people smiling and talking about, even if she herself wasn't feeling like that.
With a pout, Renesmee began to think of what the other graduates were thinking, specifically Oakey that was her fellow Head Boy this year. He had been amazing to work with and she wanted him to know that. Which was why she automatically began scanning for him and when her eyes found him she mumbled.
"I..um..Oakey...thank you." The mumbling eventually turned to a whisper of words, which turned to something more. "Thank you to all of you!" She looked up at them all and this time raised her voice quiet loud.
She loved them all, okay? Even if she didn't know them well. She loved her house and was forever proud of it.
Laura was really upset and her favourite Professor Romanos was really busy so she couldn't spend time with her, she wiped away a few tears that had once again started to form, why was she so sad and how had the dementors got into Hogwarts, they had scared her like crazy and she didn't want people to know that, and then there was a few other issues that she would sort out later for now, she wished the feast would be over.

Ella didn’t mean to look up at the staff table. In fact, she was trying her hardest to avoid looking in that general direction until the speech. Unfortunately, Airey’s outburst was a bit loud and it caught her attention. He wasn’t wearing a suit, Airey, and that’s what Ella noticed first. Strange. Also strange, not seeing Mr. Firth up there. It hurt her heart just thinking about the man. It felt like just yesterday that her and Oakey Worm were talking to him and now…Chin!Wobble. Yeah, she shouldn’t have looked up there.
The blonde quickly turned her attention back to Jory, nodding her head at his question. “Thanks, Jory. I’m really nervous, actually. I guess I’m as prepared as I can be, though. Are you nervous?” She wasn’t the only one who got a knotted tummy thinking about exams, was she?
Ella’s green eyes flicked over to Oakey and Alec as the older badger questioned whether her boyfriend would be visiting. This got her attention for reasons, AHEM, and she raised her eyebrows slightly at the two. She cracked a smile, though, as Oakey saved himself from sour-lemon glaring from her. “I don’t think that’d be a problem, Oak.” Just as long as he did what he said he would. It’d save them all a lot of trouble, yeah? And then neighbor boy was squishing himself between herself and Tobias and she let it slide only because Oakey Worm was good to the first year and Ella figured Tobias was going to miss the head boy just as much as she was. She’d let them bond and stuff, no worries.
So…was the hugging thing not Okay or? Ella just sort of stared back at the younger badger, wondering if she was about to get told off or something. Her and Elodie weren’t exactly the hugging type of friends but she had felt the younger girl needed one. But then she was thanking her and the blonde felt a bit better about the whole thing. “Anytime, Elodie.” Really.
Hugs from Kace were nice and Ella beamed down at the first year, ruffling his hair. “You’re getting strong there, little badger. Your hug nearly squished me.” Joking, obviously. Then she was being led somewhere and the Captain followed obediently, smiling as she was introduced properly to Marigold. “Not formally, no. Hey Marigold, ready for summer?” And did she play Quidditch? It was never too early to start recruiting, y’know.
Wade looked a little less Wade-like today. The blonde smiled faintly at the older boy in the onesie but couldn’t help but notice that he seemed a little less happy today. She couldn’t really blame him though, yeah? “You look really brilliant, y’know.” She said softly, giving her teammate a smile. He really knew how to rock that thing.
The table continued to fill with people as Ella spotted Ronnie, another one of the graduating people that the blonde would miss. “Hi there.” She said, giving the older girl a wave and sad smile. Could she maybe not go? Could that be a thing? The seventh years could just hang in the Room of requirement, yeah?
The interaction between Sonea and Forrest wasn’t lost on Ella and she was vaguely aware of Tobias telling her to save his spot. She nodded her head and watched as he went to join the two younger ones, wondering if everything was okay. She was watching, Sonea. No messing with the baby badgers, okay? Oh and speaking of baby badgers, Annabeth and Asher were here now too. “Hello, you guys.” Ella greeted kindly, giving them both smiles. More young quidditch prospects, yeah? The captain had her eye on them.
Nessie. Wibble. Ella couldn’t even look at the older badger for too long without her eyes getting teary. This just wasn’t okay, alright? Goodbyes were so hard. How were you meant to tell someone how much their kindness has meant to you? It wasn’t something easily put into words and the lump in the blonde’s throat grew just thinking about it. Maybe…she’d wait until the train ride home for this.
Then Ariana arrived and she looked really upset and Ella understood why. Without a word, she slid down to make space, giving the snake a faint smile. She knew she was welcome here, yeah? At least by Ella. The blonde had the raven haired girl’s back now for reasons.
Totally know I'm forgetting people, but you are all included.
Asher beamed and giddily waved back at all his housemates. He couldn't believe the older students actually remembered his name. Glowing with Hufflepuff pride, Asher jumped up on the table and shouted "Hufflepuff is the best house ever! I love you all and will miss you this summer."
He smiled brightly towards Ella, Marigold, Forrest, Laura, Alec, Annabeth, Tobias, and Jory. After hopping down from the table he made his way over to Minerva. "A special thank you to you. Ya know. About the Dementors and all."
Blushing, he headed back towards his seat. Even with all that had gone on, it had been a great year.

Healer Tillstorm made her way through the Great Hall for the end of term feast. She had thought about skipping it but decided against that. She had a few students she wanted to see before they left the school for good. One of those students being none other than this terms head boy, Oakey.
Scanning the Hufflepuff table she finally found the student she had been looking for. Noticing all the students around him, she opted not to bother him. Instead she quietly placed a package on the table in front of him. Once he opened the package he would find a note inside the front cover of the book.
Not saying a word she made her way up to the staff table, where once again there would be no one sitting next to her on her right.

As he made his way to the Hufflepuff table, he noticed Jory and Oakey looking all depressed. Kace remembered they were seventh years. They were graduating this year. Awww he was gonna miss them.... He nodded and waved at them knowing they wouldn't wanna talk to him.
Then he noticed all the rest of the puffs. They all seemed to be happy and talking till he noticed Minnie. She looked kind of glum. He wanted to go see Minnie but it looked like she wanted to be alone. He understood that concept. He nodded and waved to her.
He managed to find his own seat and was just sitting there. Looking around the great hall knowing he would be a second year next year. This all seemed to real. He reminded himself he needed to go see Ronnie to say goodbye..
The Great Hall was filling up quite a bit now but it still seemed quite... empty compared to the start of term feast. Or just... any feast. Maybe other people didn't want to come along here too? Alec understood that. End of Term feasts were just... sad to come to. Really.
But the arrival of another familiar face didn't go amiss by the sixteen year old and he watched as the guy sat down at their table. A small smile flitted across Alec's lips. The guy had had a great time at Hogwarts, right? Even with Dementors around and the goblins and something else that just didn't feel right. "Hey Kace!" he called, holding up a hand and waving at the first year, "You okay over there, mate?"

No crying at the feast, Ella."Are you?"Alec looked okay which was all well and good but she knew that sometimes looks could be deceiving.
The blonde then followed her boyfriend's gaze to Bliss...and Tag. Oh. She didn't exactly know what was up or how to handle this or who to hug because eventually hugs would be in order, yeah? But for now she averted her gaze and gave Alec a look, wondering if he was a bit worried about this as well.
So she wasn't okay. Alec frowned at this little fact and instead, searched her face for any clues on what might help to make her feel better. Maybe hugs? Maybe kisses? Maybe a blanket fort or a walk? Would the last two even work with one more evening at the school?
But she wasn't okay... he'd just focus on that part. "You want me to do anything to make you feel better?" Or make anything? Though, she might not want waffles after the feast. You know, if the feast was any better than what it had been at the beginning of the term. ... That feast... all that ice cream...
Alec shook his head and turned his attention back to the blonde. "Erm..."Was he okay? He shrugged in response before hastily adding, "Summer will be great, though."

Uh oh.
Alec had been dreading this. Sure, he knew he had to talk to the seventh years and it wasn't as if he could let his favourite Male Beater Moose go without saying goodbye. But goodbye's weren't easy. So... his plans to get to know Jory had gone out the window, jumped on the back of a dragon and flown off into the sunset.
Really.
Alec shifted a little uncomfortably in his seat as he looked over at the seventh year. He was meant to get to know the older guy and possibly become good friend with him but... somewhere between his girlfriend, Quidditch, his studies, his friends and his girlfriend again, things just hadn't panned out as he had hoped it would. It was a shame, really.
The sixteen year old got up and headed over towards the seventh year. When he reached the guy, Alec wrapped his arms around him and gave him a big SUPER!HUG. Just because. "You think you'll be okay?"
Onesie... tigger onesie... Curly Wade had actually come to the feast in a ONESIE!
Alec's lips stretched themselves into a slight grin for a minute or two as he watched the guy head over towards them and the table. Trust Wade to always be weird and different and be able to pull it all off. And look at that head of curly hair! Alec definitely couldn't pull that off even if he tried.
At least both of their hairs were ruffly.
"Hey Curly Wade!" he said, his grin going back to that usual smile he had on before, "Erm... nice onesie, mate!" Also, Alec was really... really glad that Wade wasn't leaving this term. Next term, though. Frown.

See what happens... Alec nodded along to that. It didn't sound like a bad way to spend the summer, actually. Though, Alec did hope that Tobias would find something that'll make his summer special... or just happy. Merlin knows, they all needed a great summer.
"Oh... it'll be a shame not to be able to fly for two months," Not that Tobias really needed any practice or anything. Dude was a BRILLIANT Keeper and he was... twelve? Yeah? Man! "If I didn't live in a Muggle area... I would invite you over to mine to fly around. But I have video games, if you're interested." Everyone loved Mario Kart, yeah?
Wait, he lived near a beach? NEAR a BEACH? "That sounds awesome!" he said, smiling a little bit more, "And, erm, I like your monkey, by the way." It was nice that him and Ells had both brought their stuffies along to the feast.
Alec watched as the guy had headed off to go over towards... oh hey! Forrest, right? From the Start of Term feast and that Quidditch match. He... seemed like a quiet dude. Maybe. Nevertheless, Alec smiled a little and waved at the younger boy.

Where were those wizards and witches who had helped her to come to Hogwarts now?
A new arrival to the Hufflepuff table! And a happier arrival at that.
Alec smiled a little at his new friend and watched as she greeted him first. That was a nice feeling, actually. And even if she hadn't greeted him first, he would still feel happy about being greeted by her. It meant that she remembered his face, yeah? "Hey Anna!" he called, waving at her. An not Beth. Lesson learned.
... Great feast? Pause. Was it a great feast? He had no idea about that.
Truth be told, Alec hadn't really realised that Asher had walked over towards the Hufflepuff table until the words 'Hi all' reached the sixteen year old's ears and he jumped slightly. ... Yeah... maybe he should pay more attention to things, yeah? Maybe.

He looked back down at the young boy, a small smile spread across his lips. "It's a really awesome banner, isn't it?" And very Hufflepuff too. "Erm... and hey Asher! You excited for the summer?"
One question... uttered who knows how many times.

BLINK. BLINK. STARE.
He had... made her cry? No. No, don't cry LochNessie! Because... because then he was going to cry and he didn't do that. At least, not in front of people. And even as he tried so much not to cry or well up or show any sort of sad emotions, he did feel his chin wobbling, his grey eyes locked on LochNessie's face.
... And she said something. Something that was hard to hear but Alec, being so near her, did manage to hear a sliver of it. The sixteen year old reached over and wrapped his arms around the redhead, giving her a tiny squeeze as he did so. "And you're awesome, LochNessie," he whispered back, "Don't... don't let anyone tell you otherwise, yeah?"
For Sonea, Tobias, Marigold, Asher and Ness. Cloning for Marigold!
¼ of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pls
Forrest was toying with the plastic glass and questioning life in general when he heard Super Head Girl Nessie thanking them all. This brought a genuine smile to his lips, but soon after he was moping.
She was leaving.
So, getting up, he hugged her silently and without any warning (a soft hug that is). Then he didn't even look into her eyes, because he was just bound to cry. He hadn't really talked to her, sure, but she had always been there and... she was leaving and... it was better for the little boy to just return to his seat before he got ridiculously emotional, and so he went back to where he was sitting.
And then Asher spoke.
What was wrong with them? Seriously, why were they torturing them by thanking them and all? Didn't they know it was emotional already? Forrest just bit his lower lip, nodded towards his direction and tried (but failed) to smile.
"I thank you." For friendship and keeping company and--
Feels. Go away.
Then something rained over him.
Something sticky.
Something that would ruin his clothes and everything.
Should he be grateful that most of it had stuck in his hair?
And even more stickier was the voice. That sugar-coated apology. That--that--he took deep breaths but they made him angrier than calmer. He was going to KILL her!
"What is WRONG WITH YOU?!" he yelled as he jumped to his feet to face her. "Why are you picking on me? What did I DO?"
While he didn't sob, he was on the verge of tears. He didn't even hear Tobias. He didn't even see him. It was just Sonea and his watery eyes.
...he hadn't done anything wrong. Why was she so mean?
----
Oh, Marigold came. Well, at least she was going to be a distraction from thanking, INCONSIDERATE people. He knew her name too, of course. They were both Hufflepuff firsties, after all. He had just never spoken to her. Now was going to be the moment, apparently.
"Yeah, I'm Forrest. Funny we've never talked before..." It was rude of him, actually, since she was the girl and all. "Sorry?"
Laura was still upset and she was just staring at the table when suddenly she saw Ella, this was going to be totally fun, she gave her friend a small smile and decided to be social for the first time in awhile. "You okay bestie?" Laura had no idea what was going on here, she hadn't seen her best friend enter.
Totally Out of Order...but IDC (I'll have Alec in my Next Post)
Mom says I have no sense of direction, so I packed my bags and right.

"When are you gonna go write in that memory book?'' Jory had been eyeing it for a while but could not bring himself to go right now.
Oakey shrugged at that comment. "Probably soon I suppose." Oakey's eyes went to the Memory book then back to Jory who was also looking over the book too. "I'll have to think really hard on what to put in it." He imagined the book was covered in dried tears, and he would not be one to get it stained with his own. Nope not him, not Oakey.

Damn you Tobias!
Damn this kid!
He was making this departure way more saddening than Oakey had anticepated. He knew hugs were going to come his way, but not from Tobias. "Help? Trust me, this school would crumble under my help." Oakey threw a smile on his face, and wrapped one arm around Tobias as the First Year continued to hug him. "Okay." was all he could respond back to Tobias. "You'll help Ella keep the team in line yeah? She needs some one like you with high spirits on the Team."

More smiles, that didn't feel like smiles for Ronnie. This was getting tough, and he could almost tell how all the Graduates were feeling. "Hey Ronnie." Oakey said back. "You and Jory, doing anything over the Summer together?" He wasn't sure on what he had heard, but somewhere he heard that the two of them were dating. Good for them, they seem like a great couple together.

Minerva's Presence did not go unnoticed, but she was being way to quiet, and Oakey knew it was because of the Syrup. This is why he left the Ice Cream Party early. He looked down at the table, and gave her a nod and a smile before going back to chatting with everyone around him.

Oakey didn't turn around. Hell for all he knew he was probably grabbing onto some Professor's hand who wanted his attention for something. He had a gut feeling he knew who it was, and when he turned around with Ariana's hand in his he was glad his gut was correct. "Hey Cupcake, you wanna sit?" To be honest really he was hoping he would find the chance to get up from his Table to see her at Slytherin's. He'll have a chance to see Dylan, and Daichi too.

She loved them all, okay? Even if she didn't know them well. She loved her house and was forever proud of it.
"I'm the one who be thanking you Renesmee." You know, he never quite understood why out of all his closest friends. Renesmee never got a nickname. Maybe to him Renesmee was the nickname. Everyone else called her Nessie or Ness or Lock-Nessie or whatever. So maybe it was her nickname for him after all. That aside, Oakey gave his first friend a big grin. Then looked at her in shock as she shouted...it wasn't a Banshee shriek thankfully. It still caught him off guard.

It’d save them all a lot of trouble, yeah? And then neighbor boy was squishing himself between herself and Tobias and she let it slide only because Oakey Worm was good to the first year and Ella figured Tobias was going to miss the head boy just as much as she was. She’d let them bond and stuff, no worries
"It won't?!?! YOU SURE?" Oakey eyed Ella's response almost hoping for some kind of bite back at him for even mentioning that day. Instead he got a smile. "Maybe I'll tie Aegis up to a tree to then." That was bound to get her riled up. "You can chase me around Diagon Alley like last time."

In all the chaos that was happening around him Oakey looked down Table in front of him, and spotted a package. He eyed it over lifted it up slowly opeing it to reveal a book, about Healing Back Pains. It took him less than a second to know who the gift was from, and the letter on the inside had him almost in tears. He jumped from his spot at the table and looked around to see if Healer Tillstorm hadn't gone too far "Healer!?" Oakey barked not seeing her anywhere else at the table. Maybe she had gone to the Slytherin Table to speak with Dylan. He needed to speak with her one last time before the Term ended.
Not seeing her anywhere near the House Tables, his eyes shot themselves over to the Staff Dias and he saw her taking her place beside Professor Bentley who he also realized he needed to return a certain book back to her, and the Empty spot where Mr.Firth should be. This put an instant frown on his face, and Oakey sat back down and reread the letter Tillstorm wrote him.
