| | Hufflepuff Boys' Dormitory Banner created by Lockhartian The round door to your right will lead to the boys' dormitory. Each year has a room of its own, and if this is your first time here at Hogwarts, there will always be someone there to help you find your way. The rooms are spacious, furnished with comfortable wooden bedsteads, each covered in patchwork quilts.
Come inside and make yourself at home, get to know your fellow roommates, but don't stay up too late, you wouldn't want to miss any of your classes! There are absolutely no girls allowed in the boy's dorms. Should a curious female wander through the wrong round door, her path will be blocked off immediately, and no spell she attempts will remove the obstacle.
Best to keep to yourself ladies, I wouldn't bother trying if I were you. However, unlike in previous years, it seems as though the dormitories have been skipped over for their usual summertime cleaning. The general wear and tear on the bedsteads and night-tables haven't been repaired, the sheets haven't been changed, and some of those thinning quilts that should have been replaced at the end of the year, were not. And if you look close enough you might sneeze you might notice that there's a definitive layer of dust under the bed and on the wooden furniture. Though you can't see them, there are no doubt dust-mites on many of the pillows as well from lack of cleaning over the summer. |

| Potions Ingredient Post 2 Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd Kace decided to go to the boys dormitory and find cookies he brought from home. Well his mom packed them from home incase he got homesick. Kace decided he wanted to use three oreos from the sleeve. "Yup this is perfect." he smiled to himself.
He smiled to himself and even took one and ate one. He wished he had a glass of milk to go with this but he could only dream till lunch time. Once he put them in his robe pocket, he left the dormitory and left to find two more ingredients.

| Potions! ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
After leaving the Owlery, Jory quickly made his way to the dorm. He needed a bottle for his last ingredient. And he had one or two in his trunk which he used on the journey back to Hogwarts.
Hurriedly, he rifled through the trunk looking for one of the bottle. Finally, he found one. "Aguamenti!'' he said pointing his wand over the bottle's opening. "Finite!'' And he was done! The Puffer glanced at his watch. He had ten minutes to make it back to class.

Totally his call.
...
... Was the vacuum cleaner losing its suction? Was it meant to do that? "Vacavus!" he said, tapping the hose with his wand. The suction was back... and so was the eliminating the dust mission. Except for the tiny fact that he was lying on his stomach this time and probably gathering dust on his clothes. This was what you called Lazy Boy Problems.
Sir? He was needed? He stopped vacuuming but let the suction run as he followed Kaiden's gaze with his own eyes. "Why, General, it looks like we have a big job on our hands!" Did the dorms usually get this dusty over the summer? "What say we vacuum this one up together? On the count of three?" And to show that he was serious, he held up the hose of the vacuum cleaner at the ready and away from the bedsheets. Because those didn't need to be sucked up. Nope. "Er... Well, yeah. I mean, You don't want that thing sneaking back in and going up to your dorm." Because if it got in once, it could get in again. The boy shrugged. "I think... we should vacuum it." It would just be better.
As Seeker looked under the bed, Kaiden nodded. "Yes sir. How do you think it got so mess over the summer?" he asked. "I mean, this doesn't seem normal." Like, did the did the house elves just make everything a mess before leaving? "The count of Three. Right. Just give me a moment to get this going again." Tapping his wand on the hoses, he said, "Vacavus. Okay, so three. One, two, three." on that count, he bagan attacking the giant mess under the bed. This was horrible.

Dude had a REALLY good point. Imagine waking up in the middle of the night and seeing a giant spider chilling on your bedsheets? "Okay... vacuum up the spider... that's easy," Hopefully. "Do you want to do the honours, mate?" And he would be there for moral support. Or in case the spider ended up jumping on Kaiden himself. This was probably somewhere in the Bro Code. "Oh... Yeah, you're right. It seems really... weird," Did he know the answer to the question, though? Nope. "Maybe the spiders came and messed everything up? And nobody cleaned up in here before we came?" Shrug. "What do you think?" He might have some better and more thought out ideas, yeah?
... Right! Yeah! He should make the suction thing come back to his own vacuum as well. "Good idea! Vacavus!" he said, tapping the hose of his own vacuum cleaner. One... two... three...
ATTACK.
He moved his hose forward and started dusting up the pile of dust a little too excitedly. And all this dust... flying around... made him want to... ACHOO!

He'd totally take care of sucking that Spider up. "Vacavus" He said tapping the vacuum. "Of corse, we could catch it and release it in the girl's dorm" he said over the vacuum. Not that he really would do it, since he was sure some of the girls would do that screaming thing. And since Captain and Keeper Lady were there. But maybe he could just throw it at Flower... or even Nash. Yeah, him. Grinning at Seeker, he turned back to he spider and watched as the vacuum cleaner sucked him up.
As he continued vacuuming the spider webs, Kaiden shrugged "I doubt the spiders could have done all this." And of course, it was still confusing to him why they had to use disposable stuff to eat. How much money could they make selling that stuff anyways? "All I know is, its weird."
Thankfully, the mess under the beds and just the room in general was getting loads better. Even if they were sturing up lots of dust. And making them sneeze. "Bless you." he said wiping at his own nose hoping to prevent a sneeze. "Not much more." the boy said looking around the room. "How about you get that bed there, and I'll take care of this one. Divide and conquer. Then we can move on."

... Release it into the girl's dorms?! Was this guy serious?! BLINK. "I... how would you do that?" Although, maybe a more important question was whether the guy actually wanted to plant a spider in the girl's dorms. And whether he was going to plant one in Ella's dorm. That was a really important question, that was. He grinned back at Kaiden, though, and watched as the guy vacuumed up the spider. Goodbye spider. You'll be missed.
But this meant that he should vacuum up something else as well, yeah? "Vacavus!" he said, tapping the hose of the vacuum cleaner with his wand. Once it had roared into action, he bent down and started hoovering up the dust on the main carpet area. Because that was important dust to collect up too. "You're probably right, you know," he said, hoovering around the rug, "Yeah... yeah, it is. It's a lot of dust for two months." "Thanks, man," he said, trying his hardest not to sniff in any more dust. Tissues. They both needed those. ... Oh? Alec looked over to where Kaiden was pointing and nodded. "Brilliant plan! Take care of this division, General!" The boy got a nod and a salute before Alec ducked his head out from underneath the bed and headed over towards the other one. He bent down and looked underneath the bed, giving all the dust one big disgusted look. Really. How dirty was this place? "Vacavus!" Hoover... hoover... hoover... Goodbye dust bunnies! Don't come back again! ... "Dude!" ... "I mean, General Kaid! What do we do about the desktops?"

Encourage him to go down the hall." Yep. But that really wasn't important.
Moving on to another bed, the boy tapped his cleaner again "Vacavus" He said, making sure it would keep on keeping on. He vacuumed under the bed, behind the head board, and even under the little table thing. "We vacuum them up!" he said tapping his vacuum once more and moving on the the desks. "And we hope the papers on them aren't important."
Right. He turned around to look at the room. With Seeker doing his part, there wasn't a whole lot left to do. just... "Hey, Seeker. under the trunks. I can hold an end up while you vacuum under it." and if he got tired, they could switch.

Right. He turned around to look at the room. With Seeker doing his part, there wasn't a whole lot left to do. just... "Hey, Seeker. under the trunks. "It sounds like you've been thinking about this for a while, you know..." Had he? Or was he just one of those dudes who knew how to come up with the perfect plan?
He was going to go with the latter.
The dust bunnies that he was trying to hoover up? The ones in the main pile had more or less been hoovered up and he was about to wriggle to the side and hoover up those too but... there was a problem. Vacuum cleaner problem. Frowning, Alec placed a hand over the hose of the vacuum cleaner. Nope. Nothing. "Vacavus!" he said, tapping the hose of the vacuum cleaner with his wand. And to check, he placed his hand over the hose and... and...
WOAH, DON'T TAKE HIS HAND.
But wasn't this like the younger kid days when you took the vacuum cleaner and placed it on your cheek? Alec tilted his head and looked down at the hose but before he could do much more than remove his hand... Kaiden talked. ... SNORT. "And hope that the people they belong to... don't get mad?" Can you imagine if they pulled a LochNessie banshee and screeched?
... "Yeah, Ge- OW!" He bent his head and rubbed the spot on his head where he had bumped it on the underside of the bed. A couple of seconds later and Alec wriggled out and turned to look over at Kaiden. "Trunks? Yeah, okay! Which one should we start with?"

| Divination Homework One- Entry Three ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
It had been a tiring day and Jory just decided to collapse on his bed without changing into night clothes. He thought he should take a nap and was about to fall asleep when he suddenly remembered he had his tea all set to do his final journal entry for Divination. The tea would get totally cold if he didn't do it now and if he put it off, his homework pile would just get larger. The tired boy dragged himself out of the bed.
Jory sat cross legged on his bed and cleared his mind. Forcefully, he just pushed everything out. Even the thought of sleep which seemed reluctant to leave. But after three minutes or so, he felt calm. With his left hand, he grasped the cup and drank. Was there any particular thought that kept nagging him? Nope.
Making sure to leave a bit of tea at the bottom the seventh year gave the cup three swirls after which he drained the last of the tea. He took three breaths then set the cup up on the right side. He now began to look for symbols, starting at the 12 o clock angle; Quote: Night Reading: Rim: Mouth:A mouth suggests you should pay extra special attention to what is being said around you Good advice. But I tend not to eavesdrop on conversations. Unless I can't help myself, of course. But I will pay attention to not only what is being said around me but also to me as I tend not to really pay attention sometimes. Middle: Pumpkin:A pumpkin forecasts major improvements if you follow the rules.I always follow the rules. Does this mean I broke a rule/s sometime and it would get better for me if I start following them again? Base: ShoeA shoe signifies a revelation of some kind; perhaps someone will reveal their true colours to you. Interesting. I wonder who this could be.
And he was done! Jory had completed all three readings. He was very interested in some of the symbols especially the shoe and what it meant.

| Divination HW #3 Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd It was bedtime, finally Kace could go to bed. He had such a long day and sleep was the only thing on his mind. Before he even plopped his head on the pillow, he sprang up remembering he had to do his Divination reading. "Oh man i almost forgot about that." he said to himself.
He moved over and went over to his textbooks. He got out the Divination one through the pile. It was almost like playing Jenga hoping the books wouldn't topple over. Once he got his hands on it and opened it to the page he needed it to be, he got the tea, tea leaves, the parchment and his mind all ready.
He filled his tea cup with tea 3/4 of the way. Then he added the tea leaves. He lit it sit there, letting the smell open up his nostrils. He took three deep breaths to clear his thoughts. He only had sleep on the brain and his close eye lids look good right now. It was 10pm...he better do this quick and he had quidditch tomorrow to deal with.
One breath.......
2nd breath.....
Third breath....
Then he picked it up with his left hand and drank it. He finally had his last cup and he was getting used to the taste of tea. He left a little left and then gave it three good swirls with his wand and then flicked it over on the saucer. Once the liquid left the cup he waited three more breaths and then flipped it on its right side and began to examine the symbols reading for the 12 O' clock stage.
Kace made a little note saying the Rim indicates things happening in the current moment in time. The middle indicates things happening 2 weeks from now and the base is the ultimate answer.
Knowing that he began to write.
Then he was done. He put down his quill and was all set for bed. He was even in his cozy Batman Pj's. He was relieved to have his Divination hw done too. He can finally show the professor what his readings were.

| Arithmancy Homework One- Post 2 ~ Mrs. Steve Harrington ~ It be like that sometimes.
Jory had just returned from sending a letter to his parents. He now needed to get some homework done as he most likely will be spending some time with Ronnie later. Muggle Studies was the next target on his hit list as he had secured the necessary materials he would need to make his "money".
The happy badger sat cross legged on his bed and gathered his materials all around him. "I'll start with the paper money first,'' he decided, reaching for a piece of soft, blue cardboard. He cut out the pictures he was going to paste onto the money using a scissors. He didn't want risk using magic and then something went wrong. But he would huse magic to stick the picture onto the cardboard. ''Hey,'' Jory muttered, having just completed his first amount, a $20 note. "Wouldn't this be a representation of the Golden Ratio?'' He squinted at the two longer edges and then the two shorter sides. He had never been more uncertain when doing homework.

When he arrived back in his room, Asher opened his trunk and pulled out an old newspaper. He put the newspaper down on his bed and unwrapped the branch from the tree offering.
He took out his wand and gently stripped off the bark, being very careful to collect all of the shavings. After stripping the bark off, he took great care to put all of the shavings into a pouch to take back to the tree in time.

| DADA Assignment Thingy!! Stephanoodle || Adorable Nerd Kace decided it was time to clean his room. I mean cleaning was a physical activity? He usually sweated whenever he was done cleaning. It had to be an activity. He was gonna clean all the dust mites and bunnies on his pillows and underneath his bed. He was determined to get those little buggers.
Kace decided to use his feather duster his mother gave him and then he started to clean. He realized there was a lot underneath his bed. He breathed some in. Uh oh.....he felt the tickling sensation on his nose...he was gonna do it.... "ACCCCHHHHOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!" he said loudly. Yeah his sneezes were pretty loud. Then he went underneath his bedside desk and found some dust. He went into the tiny corners and found some dust. He was getting A LOT out. He felt good and not soo creeped out that dust was underneath his bed and bedside table.
Clean....clean....clean...clean...and even more cleaning around his bed.
Then he noticed some more on his pillow. He took his pillow and shook it out. It seemed better and then he realized his window was close. He went to open it to filter the dust out. Yup he felt the cool breeze and it felt amazing. He breathed some in. Then he cleaned his trunk and organized everything. He organized his clothes and cleaning out his trunk.
He felt sweat dripping on his forehead. He wiped it off. He didn't realize he was breaking a sweat. He looked down on his watch and it had been an hour. Woww.....time sure does fly!
He felt relieved that he got his cleaning done. Now his mom won't nag him.
