Sonea had heard that there was a cleaning club and to know for sure she had looked for more information on the Slytherin Notice Board, and yes, she had found it! Sonea would normally NEVER have cleaned anything at home, but she hated the dirt her on Hogwarts, so if she could help to clean everything to make it herself AND the others a little more comfortable, than she wanted to do it!

Sonea saw that the cleaning club was held in the muggle study classroom and if she wanted to be there on time she needed to go now! The young girl left quickly her common room, after she had left Little princess in her cage and ran toward the cleaning club. She wondered if there were already students inside the room, but when she entered the room she saw that she was the first! Sonea shrugged and suspected that the other students would arrive at any moment. The young girl took a soda and sat down on a bean bag, waiting for the others to arrive.

Theo was here out of curiosity really. He wasn't ready to admit that it was because of the whole clean freak thing, though that WAS the real reason. He sighed when he was the first one here, and thought about turning right back around and never coming back. But then he saw muggle stuff, and that excited him. Theo casually strolled over to the soda machine with his hands in his pockets.

If he was the only one coming then WOOH, more soda for him.

He took an apple soda, along with a cupcake, then sunk into one of the beanbags. Weeeeeell, this was awkward. Theo's eyes remained on the door.

Jory had seen the notice about the Cleaning Club in the common room and was at once interested. The Castle definitely needed to be restored back to normal and he wanted to be apart of it.

When he arrived at the room, there were only two students there. "Hello,'' he said to them. looking around the badger saw the usual bean bags and snacks. He wasn't hungry just then. Except if there was ice cream, he would have surely had that. So, the Puffer just made himself comfortable in one of the bean bags and waited for the others.

She really hadn't want to go to the meeting after hearing about it but if she didn't she would be mad at herself as well. So entering the room, Zoe quietly went and took a seat by herself on one of the bean bags. She wasn't interested in any soda and wasn't hungry so she didn't take a cupcake. Just sat there silently looking around at the others who had gathered in the room already.

Excited. Mackenzie was excited about this cleaning club. The castle had been dirty for far too long. like forreal. Skipping into the muggle studies classroom she smiled seeing that Sonea was already present. "Hello Sonea!" Looking around she noticed soda and cupcakes this made the blonde even happier, quickly she grabbed a can of soda, which is the last thing she really needed SUGAR deciding to skip the cupcake she took a seat on the beanbag next to Sonea and opened the can, sipping it slowly.

Having seen the notice about the Cleaning Club in the common room, Alec decided to come along and just... see what it was about. More or less. And help, of course. That was important too. Especially after the way some of the castle still seemed to be messy.

So he was here, with a tiny grin spread across his face. Despite how awkward and weird this might be, the Hufflepuff had a really good feeling about this. Yep. Because it sort of felt... nice to be doing something to help. Or to feel as if you're helping and you're being useful and you're not... sitting around doing nothing while everything was in chaos.

Anyways...

SODA. BEAN BAGS. CUPCAKES! ... No ice cream but sure! He could settle for cupcakes and soda. He flashed a grin at the people there before heading over towards the soda machine and grabbing up an orange soda. He then took hold of a cupcake and sunk down into an empty beanbag. This was very... comfy.

... Wait... "Hey everyone!" GRIN.

... And were those maps on the walls?

Cleaning Club.

Ella thought this was a really great idea. Even more so now that she'd talked to Professor Botros about how they could help out around the school. He'd suggested something just like this, yeah? To help make up for the loss of the house elves and chip in by cleaning? Seemed legit and so Ella entered the room, taking everything in.

Beanbags and soda and cupcakes, eh? Not a bad spread.

"Hey everyone!" She said with a smile, noting several familiar faces.

The blonde's green eyes immediately went to Alec and she BEAMED but then she noticed Theo looking...lonely or something and she bit her lip. Were they still friends, her and Theo? She was never quite sure what the nature of their friendship was cause they tended to have a lot of snappy moments but she didn't like that he looked so...awkward. She'd just sit in the middle of the room then, yeah? And that way she could talk to everyone? Yup. That was the plan.

Flopping down on a particularly comfy green bean bag, the blonde reached for a cupcake before saying, "Hey, Hair Whipper." GRIN. "Theoman."

Cleaning, cleaning, cleaning.

She wondered if cleaning up in the club would be the same as the way it looked like in Beauty and the Beast, the animated one, where all of the things were singing about being human again. She had rather liked that part and remembered dancing around as a child when she heard it. "When I'm human again~ So sweep the dust from the floor... let's let some light in the room~ I can feel, I can tell someone might break the spell any day now..." Melanie sang as she walked towards the meeting area. She may have been skipping a little too but she was rather happy. A cleaning club. That meant Hogwarts would be, eventually, clean and pretty and shiny like it was meant to be.

Entering the room, Melanie grinned. Oooh. Beanbags and cupcakes and soda. "Pikaaa~ Hey hi hellooooooooo~" Melanie greeted, waving at everyone who was already in the room. And she may have forgotten for a second that she was a human and not a pikachu while greeting the room. The Gryffindor didn't seem to realize that though and picked up a cupcake and took a bite out of it before flopping on a beanbag.

Beanbags were pretty much pillows the moved itself so you'd be comfortable in it. Melanie also wondered where the cleaning supplies had been because they were not where Melanie looked.

Laura decided that she was going to help clean the school she had already started by working on the fourth floor. "Hello everyone." Laura was going to clean everything up and she was going to help the Professor after all Hogwarts was in need of students willing to help and Laura was willing to help.

The school needed to e cleaned and Ariana was all Up for that was here, that's why she showed up, you know to CLEAN this dirty place cause GERMS and dust were everywhere and that was NOT ok with her, so here she was, she looked around and saw.. Soda & Cupcakes... both things Dylan would kill her and stay late at practice to work off later.. so she passed.. though she REALLY wanted a cupcake

This was the stupidest thing ever.

Tucker was not a happy camper, he hated cleaning. But this school was a travesty, and if word got back to his mum about how terrible conditions were here, he was bound to be yanked back into the homeschool system faster than you could say Quidditch.

Plus, there were cupcakes. Tucker LOVED CUPCAKES.

"Yo," he said with a grin to everyone in the room as he grabbed one of the cupcakes before taking a seat in a beanbag next to one of the kids he'd met at the feast...or had he? GAH he couldn't remember! There had been so many people to meet at the feast...

She wasn't even going to pretend to hide it. She was here for the food. That was it. Suuuure it would be a good opportunity to socialize with her friends while getting the school in tip top shape but let's face it, the food in the Great Hall needed divine intervention and the Professor had never been noted to give them bad food before.

It all seemed really legit so she made her way inside--

A SODA MACHINE!!!!!!

That was actually the first thing she noticed if she was being honest, the second was the cupcakes which she immediately headed for and grabbed a handful of. And back to the soda machine. She took two cans of soda before finally plopping into a bean bag chair.

That's when she noticed everyone else. Let's see....there was Mack and HAIR BOY and Ella...Melanie oh and Tucker. All of them got waves and a smile before she proceeded to enjoy her cupcakes and such.

Beezus was still not happy about this whole predicament and the fact that they STILL weren't informed what had caused all of this didn't made things any better. However, since she really didn't have any power to do anything about the financial cutback - oh, how she wished she was rich in the darnedest so she could pull the school off from the brink of being poor - she had to contribute something even in the smallest ways.

And this was one. Joining the Cleaning Club.

They didn't have house elves anymore so there wasn't anyone keeping the castle as sparkling as before. Taking care of their dorms and common rooms was something, cleaning up the rest of the castle was entirely another. But they were witches and wizards, right? That can be taken care of. And she planned to be a part of that plan.

So....here she was, eyeing the cupcakes as she stepped inside. Hullo, cupcakes! She went for one of those immediately before taking in her surroundings....and the people. "Hello, everyone." Classic Beezus smile on. She went off and plopped onto a beanbag next to Melanie as she began to munch on the cupcake. "Hey, Pikachu." Beam!

"Lex! Hi!!" Mack grinned, she was hoping that more people she knew would show up to the club meeting. "By the way, congrats on making quidditch" She beamed at her friend and now teammate. "Should be an awesome season!" Again she couldn't wipe the smile off her face, this really was shaping up to be an awesome term. Sipping her soda she watched as some of the students were passing on cupcakes and soda. She recognized one was a slytherin girl, and she was almost positive she was on their quidditch team. So maybe they had diet restrictions. Alice hadn't said they couldn't have any sweets, and let's be honest Mack was not about to turn down soda. She would just go run it off later, no harm no foul. Mackenzie wasn't sure who the others were, but since they were all here to join the club they would know each other soon enough. YAY!! Friends.

Cleaning club. It wasn't at all a surprise to Penelope that there was one this term now. With the state the school was in, it was a given they'd add one of these.

It was a small - but good - surprise, however, to find that there was soda and cupcakes! Nice! She was definitely glad she'd come to this thing now.

The Gryffindor grabbed a soda quickly and then made her way over to the table with the cupcakes, which she swiped two from. Then she settled herself down on a random bean bag, set her soda beside her, and started nomming one of the cupcakes in her hands. Mm. Yum.

Anya couldn't resist attending the cleaning club. Why? Because being someone who actually knew how to clean, she felt like it was her duty to help out as much as possible. Plus... she felt a little bad for the evil remaining house elf.

She headed down to the cleaning club. Upon arrival, she grabbed a soda and plopped into a seat next to Penne.

Mmmmmm. Soda. It was a good thing the club was sponsored by muggle studies. She wouldn't have been excited without the soda.

Although... ice cream probably would have done the trick. Speaking of which... she should get some ice cream later.

Minerva walked into the muggle studies classroom and honestly it was set up just like class. Way to go Professor, for bringing the students in with refreshments and comfy bean bag chairs. Minerva laughed at the thought, but knew she wasn't there just because of that reason. Her always wanting to help and do things brought her to this specific spot today. When she saw this club on the board, she knew it was a nice way of putting they needed kids to act as elves and get the castle clean.

She was use to doing her own chores and not depending on elves growing up. So this wasn't any different, well the difference was she could use magic to clean here. Anyway, she looked around and saw more people then she thought would be there. Smiling and giving hello's and waves, she decided to sit down next to Laura, "Hey Laura". Now what are they to do..

Gemma walked into the room excitedly and her excitement went through the roof when she saw that the room was pretty full. She maneuvered through the bean bags and found an empty one and plopped down and she sunk into the bean bag so far in that her knees reached almost to her chin.

She shifted around and when she was comfortable she started the first meeting, "Welcome, welcome, welcome everyone to our first meeting of the Cleaning Club!" she said raising her hands in excitement, "As many of you have probably already noticed, there have been a few...ummm...changes at Hogwarts this term. One of those is the absence of a few of the elves that usually help us keep the Hogwarts all spick and span and sparkling." she said sadly. "Our first job is to come up with an official name for our Cleaning Club...you know something creative like the Clutter Cutters or something like that..." she said as she stood back up which wasn't the easiest thing to do from such a comfy position. She walked towards one of the walls and flicked her wrist and her wand shot out of it's wand holster. With a flick of her wand, a piece of white paper appeared and rolled itself out on the wall followed by a blue quill. "Now does anyone have any other ideas for the name for our club?" she said and with a flick of her wand, the blue quill wrote out Clutter Club in the professor's loopy handwriting.

Penelope smiled over at Anya as she sat down next to her, but that was all the greeting she could offer with her mouth full of cupcake. She'd already finished her first one, and now she was super thirsty. So she opened her soda and took a quick gulp before setting it back down and starting on her second cupcake.

And that was when the professor came in. Yep, changes, lack of more elves, not as clean, etc., etc. It was almost something she had become used to by now. But still she listened and...oh, they were gonna change the name? Penelope wasn't sure what was wrong with the Cleaning Club - nothing wrong with a simple, straightforward name right? - but she figured she could give a new name a shot.

Swallowing her current bite of cupcake, she raised her hand. "Dust Busters?" Kinda rhymed, right? That was about as creative as she was gonna get anyway. Her hand went down and she continued eating her cupcake.

Oh, so they'd be picking their own club name. That was sort of cool. Ella liked this sort of thing and so she got out a quill and some parchment and started scribbling down some of her ideas.

Oh! Oh she really liked that last one. It reminded her of the Ghost Busters, a movie she'd really liked when she was younger. She sort of felt bad about that now considering she'd met some of the Hogwarts ghosts and they seemed perfectly nice to Ella. No need to bust them, not at all. Anyways.

...

And then Penelope said that very idea. Oh well...on to the next one.

"What about Grime fighters?"

Minerva smiled as Professor Cerulean walked in and couldn't help but chuckle a bit as her bean bag seemed to suck her in. As she started the meeting, Min tried to think of some creative names for their club, but she was never that great at naming things. Come on her Pygmy Puff was Fluffy, how original. So this was not her cup of tea, but she would try. All that kept popping in her head was Dustbusters, or even dust bunnies, but there were guys in the class, so probably not the best name.

No she wanted to find something really good for their name, but nothing was coming to her. Finally she put up her hand, "Well professor, we are trying to clean and keep germs away, what about The Germaphobs?" Well it seemed unique and to the point, but she figured someone else would come up with better.

Mack sat thinking of names for this awesome club, the other two names that had been said as names were cute. Her brow furrowed as she thought harder... lightbulb.

"Professor, what about Partners in Grime?"

The blonde beamed, she really liked that one. Taking another sip of her soda she looked around the room waiting on other cool names to be mentioned.

Sonea smiled when she saw a friendly face and grinned, "it good to see you here! I didn't knew that you also wanted to clean Hogwarts!" Sonea nodded to all the people around her, they were from all different houses, but she didn't mind it, they were all here to help and clean the castle, what was a good thing, if they not had come she would have done everything herself, and that was a lot work!

"I wonder what we will do first" said the young girl thoughtfully.


Sonea smiled at the professor, she was happy that the teachers from Hogwarts also disliked dirt and wanted to have the castle clean and sparkling! And yes, she knew that she needed to work here, and that this was not something she was obliged to, but she didn't mind it, she was happy to sacrifice some of her free time to clean the castle, and maybe, if she did it good, she also could win some house points, but she was not sure if that would happen here, this was not al normal lesson...

"A name?" muttered Sonea thoughtfully, she tried to think about something but had no idea, so she listened to what the others were saying, hoping that there were some good idea's. Sonea's smile widened when she heard somebody say Grime fighters and nodded to the girl, "that is a good name!"

Oo, cupcakes! She munched on one eagerly, careful not to lose any crumbs. Her sweet tooth had been in overdrive lately, and these special treats were most welcomed!

As for names for the club...Hmm...I like Grime Fighters. That one's good. Hmm... She thought and thought until she had an idea. She raised her hand and said, "Scourgifighters?....Or....The Clean Cops...Cleaning Club could be like CCs..which is like sort of medical sounding so, The Clean Doctors? Um..." No. Those were both just bad. But she had tried. "Eh...I liked Grime Fighters... or maybe an acronym would be cool." But she didn't have one figured out yet.
