Still walking slowly along with Lex, Cassia was pretty much enjoying herself. Chatting, arm in arm with her bestie and watching everyone passing by. Really cool. "Mhhmm. I don't think he expects to be taken seriously. Because really," Cassia said shaking her head at father's impossible expectations. "Naaah. He didn't but he left me with an impossible situation," She answered. "Like not giving me a raise and all, but like I said I'm handling it." She nodded. "I sold a couple stuff of mine." She told Lex. "Though they were pretty cheap. Like lipsticks and other stuffs. Nothing...valuable." Pause. "Not like I currently have anything valuable with me." Another paused. Let it sink in.

Now, wasn't Lex really her dad's princess. She surely was. That earned a grin. Oh and sounded that Cassia indeed didn't know about the fundraiser. The snake opened her mouth to say something but then ended up just wiiiiinking. "Mhhmm. The boy seems to have so much idea. Cool ones, too." She waggled her eyebrows. "SO! What else ideas you and Aidan have?" Yup, a cheesy grin there. Ice-cream. "I actually didn't," Cassia shrugged, pulling Lex and taking a turn because they came to a dead end. "Isn't it like any other ice-cream?" Cold and delicious.

"Yes we do!" She nodded emphatically. She wasn't going to live all her life saying the wrong stuff at the wrong time. Nope, she wasn't. The next thing called for a pause. "You know, Mike wouldn't be that kinda person but who knows what Durmstang population is teaching him." NOT GOOD!

Oh hey they were turning. She didn't actually know where they were going. When she visited Hogsmeade it was always straight to the candy shop or the joke shop...butterbeer was grabbed too but walking around didn't really happen. She considered doing this more often.

"What do you mean you don't have anything valuable? Did you lose the two Topaz I gave you?" She stopped suddenly and gave her a real serious look. "Not that I'm saying you should sell them because then I'd never give you anything ever again but still they're worth something. Mr. Vinteren said each can be like 15 galleons. That's 30 right there without even trying--but like I said, they're not to be sold. I gave them to you because I thought you'd like them. Got it?" Not that she thought Cass would sell them, nah. She wouldn't.

What in merlin's beard was Cassia doing? Lex tilted her head and gave her a long look. "You got something in your eye?" But the look on her face wasn't an amused one. "His ideas are alright." Just alright in case Cassia was wondering, but actually they were more than alright. As for other ideas..."Well, we're gonna be blowing stuff up at his house this summer! It'll be epic!" You couldn't blow stuff up at her house. Nope. Too many muggles. Ugh. "And no it's not like any other ice-cream. It's hard to explain but it keeps you this fuzzy!happy feeling inside, you know?" She'd just have to get her to try it. Nodnodnod.

That's right! Mikey went to Durmstrang! "You'll have to be careful. I think the whole lot of them have something wrong with them. It's a wonder my Aunt and Uncle let my cousin go there. They wanna send Dax there too." And there was a wrinkle of her nose. Poor Dax. "But yeah. Don't trust him 'til you know."

The thing about walking together and arm in arm, was that you TELL the person when you're taking a sudden turn or like stop. Which Lex didn't so Cassia was in a serious danger of having her arm ripped off. Okay, that was an exaggeration. But still! So she pulled her arm free. And tried to not roll her eyes at Lex. "Okay, calm down. I didn't lose them." She said her eyebrows furrowed. She was very close to be offended. "I know they are valuable. And you told me to keep them safe. That's why I told you I do not own anything valuable. Because they aren't miiiiine." Why did Lex have to say they both were worth 30 galleons. It was better when Cassia didn't know the price. "I do like them." She said. "They're yellow and match my hair's color," That was pretty much everything about them. Mhhm. But hold on, "However,If you don't trust me with them you can totally have them back." That was said a bit dramatically with her head turning to the side and her arms folded. But naah. The Toopaz pieces were staying with her. They were shiny and pretty-full.

So back to walking or still dramatically on the sidewalk?

Yeah..yeah..Changing subject. An old trick. Though Cassia didn't push it muuuuch. Or didn't say it directly. "I bet they are," She nodded seriously referring to the ideas. Summer and HIS house. "Oooh. That sounds incredibly fun," She commented, "I see you two have so much in common" Like really so much they would make a perfect team. "Keep me updated on what you blow up, no?" She said with a grin. Back to the ice-cream, meeh. Why were they discussing desert again? Fuzzy. "I....am not sure I'd like to feel fuzzy," She said half-hearted because she didn't want to hurt Lex's feelings. Though it would probably take more to hurt the lioness's feelings. But the snake was nice. At least now with Lex. And nope, she didn't know. "Sounds...cool," Was all she said.

Cassia already thought that but hearing it being said out loud, made it truer. BUT it was her brother! "I'll be careful," She said. Oh Lex's cousin. Yeah, it was a fifth year or something. "Yeah I think Mike know them," Saw them last summer or something. And of course her cousin was with him at school. Though it wasn't very important. But just sharing info here.

Lex blinked over at the Snake. "Hey, I was quite comfy with my arm linked thank you very much." Pulling away like that. Wasn't there some rule that said you weren't allowed to or that you at least had to give prior warning? Gosh, you'd think Cassia didn't know this stuff! Very patiently, Lex listened to Cassia speak and promptly made face at the end of it all. "I didn't say I didn't trust you. You're one of the only people I'd trust with something like the gems in the first place so the dramatics, save them for a Puffer, yeah?" And she gave her a playful nudge to add.

Now then, she reached forward and linked their arms again. Back to walking if you please. They still had the rest of Hogsmeade to cover and standing around talking about things that wouldn't happen wouldn't get them done any faster.

Alexa gave a casual shrug to the next thing the girl said. "I guess we do. Never noticed." There wasn't much she noticed. "But of course! I can give you a comprehensive list of things we blow up! Even the things we considered blowing up but later decide against. Does that work for you?" She might have been mocking her. Maybe. Pfft, duh the ice-cream sounded cool. It totally was.

"Oh? He does?" How come she never knew that? Wait, no, she did but it never really clicked before now. "Anyway, I think we can find a whole bunch of other ways to get you some money and if it comes down to it, I can give you money so you don't have to have your brother blackmailing you." nodnodnod.

The snake tilted her head at her bestie, good she didn't like their arms being un-linked. See the consequences of upsetting Cassia. Though Lex was one to already know. Though the dramatic pose shifted hearing Lex. Music to Cassia's ears. A grin spread upon the blond's face. "Now we are talking," She said then chuckled at Lex's comment. "But a Puffer won't make that face at me," She teased trying to copy LEx's disgusted face. Didn't really work but still.

And back to walking arm in arm.

Blowing up! That sounded like an activity Lex and a friend of hers would do. "I would really like to see that list," She said with a giggle. "I'm glad you found a friend with the same of your interests." She said meaning it. Especially, that Lex found most of the boys stupid and idiot.

Nodding yes although she reckoned that Lex wasn't really waiting for answer. "Yes, there are always ways. I just need to be creative." She nodded. The fourth-year just needed ti stop whining and think for real of ways. And maybe try and not spend her money on useless stuff. Awww...Lex would give her money. "Yeah, well, I'm not allowed to borrow money by friends." Rolll eye there. Her father's rule. "But I appreciate the offer," She really did. "And I'm getting the hang of it so it's cool, Mike shouldn't pose a threat." She'd handle her bro.

Looking at her watch, she tugged at Lex's arm and took a turn so they walked in the street that led them back. They'd continue talking on the way back. It was getting late.
