While you patiently wait for your turn with the Headmistress, why don't you have a seat? You'll find some lovely pink couches just under the windows on either side of the stone gargoyles, along with plants and lamps and fancy little glass coffee/end tables.
If you're bored, good! pick up one of the numerous Wizarding fashion magazines. The Headmistress never bores of talking fashion.
On the next floor, Tumplin made her way to where the Headmistress' office was. She heaved a sigh. Her bag was already getting quite heavy and there was all this furniture she needed to collect!
After another sigh, she started with the lamps, making sure they were out and slipping them into her carpet bag with the portraits.

Mack found a goblin in the headmistress' office, oh no she turned and locked the door to the seating area, wanting to have a little chat with the goblin "Listen here, Goblin.. How much money do you need? Seriously." It was a perfectly legitimate question. "I think the students deserve to know, so that we can find the means to figure something out... I mean it is OUR home."

Anastasia was just coming down to say goodnight to her waiting area plants, still in her night robe and slippers as it were, her makeup already removed, her hair in curlers, when lo and behold, she had INTRUDERS in her WAITING AREA!
"Gasp!" the redhead let out a little squeak, quickly tightening the sash on her fluffy pink robe. "You there!" she pointed to the Gryffindor first, "What are you doing in my seating area! You're out of bounds --- AND out past curfew! School ID, NOW!"
Then she pointed her dramatic finger at the second... thing.... student... it... "Are you somebody's pet?" she squinted at the short creature putting its fingerprints all over HER lamps. Ooh no, she knew what this thing was! And the lightbulb was on... in her head, at least.
"I know YOUUUUU," she nearly cooed, clasping her hands together once more, "YOU'RE a Gringott's goblin, aren't you! Well I'll be!" Now which one was this one? If it weren't so DARK in here... if she could just turn on a lamp... she could see who it was! Annie knew all the goblins, of course, she was a regular at their bank, after all!

They've been hurting students who they've scared as they've broke in." oh no little goblin, you were not getting Mack in trouble. She pulled out her wand "lumos" the light began pouring out of the tip of her wand, allowing the headmistress to see the goblin. "headmistress, why are they here? Are we in that bad of shape?" seriously the students deserved answers, she couldn't very well keep them in the dark now could she?

Laura smiled at the Headmistress. "But there is a few."

Scoffing Mackenie's arms flew up into the air, was this creature serious? If they meant no harm, then why was Mika on her way to the hospital wing?! Hmmm. Oh how she wished she was a step or two closer to the creature so that she could slap it. "Mmhmm, then why are there students going to the hospital wing because of you creatures." she turned on her heel and looked at the headmistress "And why wasn't the castle secured?! I mean seriously, there are children's lives at steak here."
She wanted answers and she wanted them NOW!

"FIRST OF ALL," the redhead bellowed, getting her own wand out of her sleeve and waving it at the girl, "you will STOP shouting in my presence and will not DARE to make assumptions where you aren't concerned! SECOND OF ALL," she took a breath and would have continued, had not a certain Hufflepuff skidded in just then.
Ohhhhh nooooo, Laura Hyde. WHY was it ALWAYS a Hyde? Why? Why did this girl insist on bothering her?
"Both of you," the redhead snapped, using her wand as a pointer between the two of them. "Get out your Hogwarts identification cards NOW. I want to see them. Just because we have some GOBLINS in the castle does NOT mean you have permission to be OUT OF BOUNDS and OUT PAST CURFEW."
She would deal with the goblin while they produced their I.D.s. IF they even HAD ID. Now then. Time to play nice with the goblin.
"Tumplin," the redhead perfomed a nonverbal lighting spell so she could shine her own spotlight on the goblin currently stuffing her furniture into a bag, "What's all this about, hmm? You know I've never been anything but the best customer to Gringotts all these years, surely that's not cause for you to start taking things from me? Hmmm?? I'm sure you don't mean harm to the students... but look at these children, they're simply frazzled..."

Seriously, once all this was taken care of the headmistress and herself would be sitting down and have a conversation. Seriously, she expected students to want to say when we had repo goblins coming in the dead of night, and SHE was keeping them all in the dark. Not even the prefects in the greenhouse had known what was going on.
Hard times at Hogwarts she understood but come on!

Just in case being silenced wasn't enough, the girl would also be paralyzed and wrapped in cords as well.

Apparently the headmistress forgot her manners. So there laid Mackenzie, twisted in cords, and laying on the floor silenced... She couldn't even tell the headmistress that the cords were hurting her. Her head would roll for this. And she wouldn't doubt if it were literally, if her grandfather ever found out. Especially now, the child was distraught, loosing everything she held dear all at the same time and then the headmistress would embarrass her this way! So her grandfather had not sent her an owl. Oh that man, sometimes she loved and hated him. The one time that it would have been beneficial for him to pry into his granddaughters life.
And she had said her ID card was fake?! Umm no, that was handed to her at the beginning of this term. She tried to nod but of course she couldn't move. Must have been the goblins, they must be the reason for this as well. Maybe she should have done as her gran had suggested and come home, but there was quidditch and she couldn't let down the team. SIGH

Tumplin shifted uncomfortably. She silently shook her head in answer to the Headmistress' first two questions. But ultimately decided to show her the list to answer her final question. The goblin dipped into her pocket and retrieved the list of repossessions, handing it to the Headmistress.
So, yes, she was instructed to take all of her furniture.
Her eyes widened at the way the Headmistress treated the student. But of course, Tumplin wasn't going to tell her how to treat her own students - how to do her job. Perhaps the Headmistress would grant her the same respect?

Laura just stared at the Headmistress, "I'm sorry I didn't think about that." Laura was really sorry she had been too occupied trying to be nice for a change, "I just thought you should know that the Goblins are taking things from everywhere, they've even gone for the house glasses." Laura just hung her head and waited for her punishment, she wasn't going to be helpful ever again, no sir, not even if the school was in danger, she would just sit in her bed and do nothing.

Especially now, the child was distraught, loosing everything she held dear all at the same time and then the headmistress would embarrass her this way! So her grandfather had not sent her an owl. Oh that man, sometimes she loved and hated him. The one time that it would have been beneficial for him to pry into his granddaughters life.
And she had said her ID card was fake?! Umm no, that was handed to her at the beginning of this term. She tried to nod but of course she couldn't move. Must have been the goblins, they must be the reason for this as well. Maybe she should have done as her gran had suggested and come home, but there was quidditch and she couldn't let down the team. SIGH
FINALLY, the girl was silent! At least because of Annie's spells, she was. Now what was Hyde doing? She looked toward the older girl.

"I'm sorry, ma'am, I've told you all I know. We were sent to repossess them." Now, if the Headmistress would let her continue...

Laura looked at the Professor and then fished into her pocket taking out her Hogwarts ID card and handing it to the Professor, she stood with her head held down, she hoped that the headmistress wouldn't anger the goblin because apparently they had swords, that was one reason she was here, but she just stood in silence she was in trouble as it was and she wasn't going to get herself in anymore trouble, all because she was trying to help.

Her ID was not fake, she was given it at the beginning of the term, she had every right to be up since there were GOBLINS in the castle that were hurting students (yep, pretty sure that would mean she should be up... ) And the current state of the school WAS the students concern, Don't you think they should know if they weren't going to be able to return after Christmas?! Oh how she wished she could give this woman a piece of her mind. Why should she have detention? Or the other girl? If they were just coming to get the headmistress, was it Mack's fault that the goblin happened to be in the seating area? hmmm NOPE. Tumplin was taken aback by Anastasia Truebridge's snappish way. Forget Headmistress, the goblin was usually treated quite kindly by her.
She took a deep breath and answered, "Quazi told us of the job, ma'am. She gave us the lists. I don't know who gave orders above her." But surely the Headmistress understood that repossession was perfectly logical and necessary, given Hogwarts' financial situation and everything.
...However, as the Headmistress seemed to move onto...a goblin with a sword? Oh. Well, she could she how that might frighten the children. They really should've been more conspicuous. But she knew who had the sword and how else were they to take the gems from the hourglasses?
Anyway, onto the next items.

Well now that Mackenzie was able to move and wasnt DYING of suffocation or anything she had the strong urge to kick the goblin... But if she did there was no telling how exactly to gauge the Headmistress' reaction, she felt it could go one of two ways. she could end up back on the floor of this room ooorrrr she could get a high five. But not to temp fate with the prior the blonde suppressed the urge, she would just take the aggression out on the quidditch field.
Wait, did she just say she was KIDDING?! oh my godric does that woman know the heart attack she's caused. sigh
But for now the child couldn't say a word so she just stared at the woman open mouthed.. Ten maybe considering the state of alarm all the children had they wouldn't have detention either. GRIN
Okay, she had heard a lot of stories about the headmistress and one thing she had heard, and had loved, was that she loved pink, and THAT was something Sonea REALLY liked! She had immediately decided that she wanted to see the headmistress and tell her how amazing and how good she was! EVERYBODY who liked pink was AWESOME in her eyes and the headmistress was somebody she wanted to meet, she was her heroine!
And now she was standing here, in the waiting area before the office of the headmistress, with her pink nails (painted by Daichi under some little force from her, she had blackmailed him to do it …), she had a pink hair Ribbon in her hair, she wore a pink apron, she ALSO had her pink rat named Little princess with her AND she had manipulated Daichi to give her pink highlights in her hair! Poor Daichi is still thinking that she is only friends with him because she likes him, not because he is simple to use.
But……… She hasn’t come with empty hands, no… the headmistress was so amazingly that she needed to get a surprise, but what she had with her was safe hidden under a PINK cloth, with pink hearts all printed over it and if you were standing close to her you could smell something really delicious…
Her eyes widened when she saw the LOVELY pink couch, oh, the headmistress had REALLY a good taste! She sat down with a excited smile on her face and she looked with delight at her rat, “oh, Little Princess, I’m so curious if the headmistress would invite us, I REALL, REALLY want to meet her because she is SO AWESOME!

"Helllllllllo dear," she greeted the little girl who seemed to be talking to herself. "Can I help you with something?" She didn't have much time, but she could give the girl a few moments she supposed.
