You reach the starting point of the next challenge area. The cloudy night sky is making it difficult to see what is ahead, but there is a sign lit up telling you that you must complete this challenge with a partner, and that you must use the sticking charm on each of your legs to progress. If there is issue with the charm, just below the lit sign is a basket of striped clothes. You can use these to tie your legs together.
Once you and your partner are set and ready to go you wait for one of our student leaders to yell "Ready, Set, GO!" or some variation of that. Instantly you notice a slimy substance beneath each of your feet, and your balance becomes more difficult to maintain as you slip, slide, and splash in the green slimey detention goo beneath you that you Head Boy found the time to obtain.
OOC: Find a partner, it can be anyone. Then in a minimum of at least 4 posts each RP between the two of you on reaching the finish line. Be realistic; this goo is icky, slippery, and downright gross. So no one should be able to run right through it. Plus you're stuck to someone... Have fun.

He was helpful, minus the not letting go part, so she'd give him that and tried not to laugh over the goo. It wasn't really her fault that he had taken the brunt of the goo!fall, but she did feel a little bit bad so she wasn't going to laugh at him, it was the least she could do.
"We can figure out what to do with the goo while we eat cupcakes." Cause Mo had promised more cupcakes and Cat wanted. "Hold on a sec." She thought about rolling over into the goo, but since he'd tried to keep her out of it, she thought she could try to stay out too, "This will be a lot easier if we untie our legs." Cause they were DONE with GOO. They were going to get cupcakes and forget the trauma. Cat set to doing just that, waiting for another shout from Alice Palace.
"I'm going to need these pictures!" Marigold called to Lesta. She was constantly laughing by now. And then they didn't fall! She high fived Kace and then followed his instructions. She took a step... and they didn't fall! YAY!
"We are starting to get it!" she yelled. Then she smiled at Lesta. For the picture, of course.

She bounced up when he offered her the help and sized up the rest of the field. Hmmmmmmm. "Okay! On three then! One...twoooo...three!!!"

Mess was good, How? If things got too messy...you'd...never mind this was Alexa, her entire mindset was in a different wavelength than his. It was good that they were at least working through the goo together. "You want to keep this stuff?"...WhoaWHOA almost slipped there. "Keep whatever sticks to you. Leave the rest of it on the ground." That seemed fair, probably stupid to let Alexa get away with Goo.

On the second jump she suddenly stopped.
"Um...is the fog a part of the night? Did you guys make some of that too?? Can I keep some of it and take it back to my dorm as well?????? Pleeeeease, I won't take too much, you can have most of it to scare people--I can get a jar if that's the problem!!!"
Good thing she walked with her sweater, huh?
So what'd you say Headboy? Could she have the fog and the goo????

He grinned behind his hands as Cat tried to untie their legs, and Mo went still to give her half a chance when the not was all damp and sticky from goo. It was sort of cold here on the ground, especially now that they weren't moving, and Mo shivered. It hadn't seemed very cold just a minute ago, but now...

Still watching and using all the gooey people for entertainment, it was a while before Alice noticed the ice crystals. It was.. March? It wasn't meant to be cold now. There was something seriously wrong with the school's atmosphere this year, did that have something to do with budget cuts, too?
She sank lower into her hoodie and kicked at the thick ice on the grass, trying to see her shoes through the fog. Cold was awful, she wanted to go inside now.
Was the goo warm, maybe? If it came down to that, Alice would dive right in.

"I wouldn't mind spending a long time stuck to you, Cupcake, but I think impeded motion is sort of a bad idea right now," Mo hauled himself to his feet without pulling down Cat or falling over himself. He did offer his hand to her, but that was just because knowing she was there made him feel a little better.
"I don't like it, actually. Think we oughta go find a professor?" They couldn't book it across the slimy field without falling, though, so here was hoping there wasn't something creepy and dangerous coming at them. "Let's freeze the goo and slide across."

Cat most definitely took Mo's hand though hers by now was rather cold too. She also shuffled a little bit closer to him, surely he wouldn't mind sharing his body heat right? He was bigger so he generated more warmth. Was that legit? Cat was just going to believe it for now.
"It might be better to just... go back inside." Like ASAP because she was cooooooold. She glanced at the goo, "I don't think we have to, its already pretty solid." And there was ice on the grass and all. "Let's get off of here, then we can decide what to do next."

It sure didn't look like the other prefect from their station, but.. "Duck Boy? Do you see anything over by the seating area? Oakey, where are you?"
Alice gave a look to the Slytherin prefect, then looked around for the Head Boy again. "I'm gonna go check what Dylan and Bee and Jake are doing over there, okay? Watch out for the station?"

"Good point," Mo tapped the slime with his foot and found that it was slippery but not sticky. They could definitely slide back to the start. "We can go inside," he agreed, tucking her hand against his elbow and sliding carefully back toward where Alice and the ickles were gathered.
"But let's make sure everyone is safe first."

Just before she was ready to take another hop she heard Alice saying something about the seating area. More food after the three pies she'd devoured earlier? OKAY!! Or was she not talking about the food...? No...? Lex followed her gaze and noticed people slowly gathering there--
THEY WERE GIVING AWAY FREE CANDY OVER THERE, WEREN'T THEY??? This was probably a part of the grand finale!!! Eeeeeeppp! Sugar!!! "Get off me Oakey, this is serious business! I've got candy to collect!!!"
She kept shoving at him until she remembered the charm bounding them. See why they should have stuck to rope??? Lex drew her wand immediately."FINITE!!!" Freedom!!! CANDY!! SUUUGAR!!! She took the two final hops out of the goo, collected a bit more and stuck it on herself then bolted after Alice.

Going inside sounded like a super awesome idea to this girl, really because it was cold, but she didn't exactly turn that way either. Cat took a moment to appreciate being off of the goo and instead, turned to look in the direction that everyone else had headed off to. She couldn't tell much with the dark and all, but it seemed like there was a rather large crowd.
She pointed in that direction, "Let's go there." Everyone else was and there was something about safety in numbers. Except Alice thought they should stay put, but Alice wasn't the boss. It probably wasn't a good idea to hang out here anyway.
