"You're welcome." he smiled to Marigold. Then she was tying around the leggings around his leg and he felt butterflies when she touched him. Then he made a mental note to call Awarlesta, Lesta! He liked that it was short and sweet.

Then after they were done tying, Kace smiled to Marigold and said "Hmm... so when does this game start? Do we wait for someone to say go?"

"Eat ALL the cupcakes?" NOM THEM ALL? Cat grinned and if she had a tail, it would surely be wagging like a little happy cat cruppy. Mo was going to eat copious amounts of cupcakes with her, that was wonderful. "If we weren't on slippery gooey stuff right now, I'd hug you." CUPCAKES.

However, cupcake thoughts didn't last very long. Her immediate reaction to the fall was to laugh because really, this was all super funny, the whole thing, the goo, the stuck together thing, all of it. But then she realized that she actually had no goo on her, except for what was on her shoes, because she had fallen ON him and he had fallen on GOO. Aww. She did a valiant job at stifling giggles, "I'm sorry! Are you okay? Your hair is going to be all sticky now." Yeah, not helpful to point out, right? Cat began an attempt to get up but that wasn't going to be easy since she was attached to him, "I'll help you get it out of your hair after we get out of here."

Was the least she could do, right? "Extra cupcakes for you." And probably a kiss too, if no one was looking.

Marigold reeeeeally liked Lesta. She was so nice to her, even though she was a firstie!

"Oh! Umm.. I think we wait for someone to say go," she said. She heard someone say GO! so she took off!

Only to slip and fall in the gook. She laughed at the sight it must be, the two first years sitting in slime.

"I hope you're taking a picture Lesta!" she bellowed.

Cue smile at the classy Kace.

"Oh. Oh, I can do that!" Alice said, attempting to stuff the rest of the cupcake in her mouth before giving them the go ahead.

"Mmfkay, sfpo." Did they understand that?

She swallowed the snack and washed it down with the beet drink thing before repeating the words. "I mean, okay, go."

Yay, kiddies, slide around in goo. Fun and stuff.

This was tiring, she was going to need another cupcake.

If they weren't on slippery goo, Cat would be hugging him. But they WERE on slippery goo, and it seemed that Cat was still hugging him. Only it wasn't exactly how he would have chosen, because he was flat on his back in the good and she was laying on his internal organs and giving him bleeding and dying issues.

And laughing about it, which drew a laugh from Mo too. This was ridiculous. "I'm not hurt, and my hair will wash." It better wash. Should they ask Alice or something? "But you keep leaning on my bladder and that's a problem."

Or it would be. "Maybe we better just stay here until they send a rescue squad." And maybe he tightened his grip and grinned up at her in the half-light. "WE CONCEDE, ALICE FISCHER. YOU AND YOUR SLIME WIN."

"MARCUS ORION BRANXTON, NO SNUGGLING IN MY STATION." Alice tried to stifle her laughter at how Cat was practically using him as a goo raft. Clever. "Get up and get through it like a man, baby Cactus." Could he hear her from all the way over there? Maybe he could see her making pinchy fingers at him, too.

Also. "And after you finish, bring me more cupcakes."

'Cause hungry was happening and stuff, and Oakey veggie drinks weren't really doing the trick.

"I was trying to get up but you're completely unhelpful." So very true, too. He was being lazy and unhelpful AND complaining. And... apparently snuggling, according to Alice.

Who was shouting at Mo because he was shouting at her and Cat was just stuck there in the middle of the crossfire. She was glad she wasn't in the goo cause she apparently wasn't allowed to get up.

Now Alice was talking about cupcakes. "Cupcakes." Yeah, that tone definitely had more of a longing sound than she'd meant. "I miss cupcakes." She nudged his arms, "C'mon. Time to get up. You're going to get more goo in your hair."

Awar smirked at two younger students. She sensed some sort of chemistry between them. They had better luck at love than she did! Or maybe she's wrong. They could be just friends, who knows.

She almost missed the moment because she was laughing too hard. It was a few steps in and they were already swimming in goo. She snapped the picture, "Already?! You didn't get far at all!" She joked.

Marigold was having difficulty breathing she was laughing so hard.

"Lesta, it's harder than it looks!" she said, gasping for air and clutching her sides. Anyway, maybe it really wasn't her sport. She stood up, trying to be synchronized with Kace. She tried stepping forward again, slipped, and was caught by the legging tying Kace and her together.

"ARGH! Er, thanks Kace! And we didn't fall! High five!" She went for a high five and promptly toppled over.

Well, so much for that.

OHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

"I see what you did there!!!!" Lex nudged him in the ribs a few times. Oakey dokes...geddit??? Unless she was just imagining him using a pun when in fact he really had no sense of humour? Eh. She would give him the benefit of the doubt! Also, here was another benefit of being tied--oh wait, no GLUED to Oakey, easy access to pokes and JABS depending on what he was doing. For now he was behaving.

So off they went hopping, she had to admit, this felt better than the rope that had been rubbing against her leg. She thought for sure it would bruise! She started giggling when there was goo splashing all over, even some headed for Blue and Nigel. Hehehehehe, goo, goo was fun and squishy and she was gonna take some back to her dorm.

Er...that was allowed...right???

She was about to ask when suddenly they were toppling to the floor again. "WHOOOAAA!!" SPLOOOSH. "We almost had it that time!" Sooooooooooooo close.

She snapped away in between giggles. This was too good. They're going to be laughing as much as she is when they see the pictures.

"Yeah, I'm sure it is!" It seemed like it was going to be awhile before they reach the finish line by the looks of it.

Oakey lifted his face up from the goo and smiled a a large toothy-gooey grin at the Gryffindor. "This was a lot messier than I thought it would be." He looked back at the starting line and saw how well Alice was handling the line well enough. Daichi was there now too, took him long enough.

"I can see the end from here I think." Oakey fumbled and partially slipped regaining his balance and holding onto Alexa to help her up again. "Only 5 more big jumps should do it. I'll go on your count again." Oakey then spat out a bit of goo from his mouth to the side. Smiling with this stuff all over your face was probably not healthy.

What's that? Sorry, she was hardly hearing him over all the GOO!! This stuff was distracting, like a whole new level of distracting. At the moment it was in her hair, on her face--she was sure if she stood she would be dripping with it!! "Mess is good." She said at last before running her hand along the ground. Very good stuff. "You don't suppose I'd be able to take some back with me, do you?"

See?? She was even asking before she took it! He should have seen this as a SUPER thing and said yes. She wouldn't take it all but just a little for the sake of memories. It wasn't every night that you got tied to the headboy.

Lex looked away from the goo. He could see the end? Woot! They made it...but...the end meant no more goo--unless he said she could have some, you know, as a prize since they weren't handing out candy here. It seemed legit. "Five? We can handle that!!!" She bounced up when he offered her the help and sized up the rest of the field. Hmmmmmmm. "Okay! On three then! One...twoooo...three!!!"

Jump. Jump.

Coordination was key here.

The boy squeezed her hand. "Its okay, Its not a real one. They can't get you." In the dorms maybe. "And you're just making yourself scared silly."

"Oh, so the not scary one." he said being pulled along. HE made sure to jam his money into the money taker, as he was dragged. The boy blinked. "Fun? Er... sure. So... we have to stick ourselves together? Do you... want to do that then?" he asked, not confident in is own ability with the sticking.

"Yeah you'd be better at it." he said. He nodded and swallowed hard. "That'll be good." he said rubbing the back of his neck. This was just a bit awkward. Her leg up against his leg.... stuck together.

"Thats why you did it." he said, trying to move. It was weird though, trying to walk with her leg attached to his. Her knee was much lower than his, and it made this whole walking thing difficult. "Why are you so short?" he mumbled, trying to lift her a bit to maybe make this work better...which it didn't. "This is gonna be really hard, Darlin'" he said, moving is unstuck leg onto the goo, feeling it slip a bit.

"I'm going to need these pictures!" Marigold called to Lesta. She was constantly laughing by now. And then they didn't fall! She high fived Kace and then followed his instructions. She took a step... and they didn't fall! YAY!

"We are starting to get it!" she yelled. Then she smiled at Lesta. For the picture, of course.

"I'm helpful," Mo protested. He didn't want to let her go, but he was helpful enough to assist Cat into a seated position before he struggled up as well. Merlin, he was just COVERED in this goop now, wasn't he? Alice's fault.

"The goo is in my hair already. And in my pockets. In my trousers. In my socks and shoes. I have more good than a man knows what to do with." But he didn't try to get her dirty in retaliation... that was saved for the devil child called Alice.

"You miss cupcakes?" Mo tried to struggle to his feet, but succeeded only in pitching forward back into the goo. MER. LIN.

Well, that was just a bit awkward. All she had said was I don't know... she hadn't hit him or anything like she usually did. Apparently kissing sometimes had it advantages. And then she was doing stuff... 'What are you..." he stopped, jaw hanging open. What was she doing she was growing? and making his ankle cold. he reached over, and tugged on his pants leg, trying to pull the fabric down. Her new height also threw him off a bit. His arm didn't fit so well around her shoulders any more. "Idon'tlikethis." he mumbled.

"Yeah, Darlin.'" he said giving her a slight squeeze. "Its really slippery." He took a a minute or so to keep his foot from slipping so bad, and waited for Miks to do the same.... "Ready?" he asked. "We should do it together, count of three." he said before slowly starting the count. "One, two, Three." and on the number, he lifted his leg to step forward.

She waved her arms in celebratory. "Woo!! You guys are doing it!" She signaled a thumbs up to the pair. "Uhh...I think I'll pass!" Psh, she didn't want to swim in goo. It would take ages to get out of her hair. Psh. "I'll be sure to get you guys some copies!"
