"Dylan Montmorency has caught the third and final snitch for Slytherin!" James announced brightly, her wand to her neck. "With a score of 210 to 65, Slytherin wins the match!" Cheers all around! Yes, yes. Very good. That Captain was a good one, wasn't he? "Let's hear it for both teams!"

As James dismounted on the pitch, she waved her arm to beckon the players closer. "Both teams flew beautifully today. You have a lot to be proud of." And that wasn't just silly James fluff - it was true. What a match-up it had been. "Congratulations to both of you!"

West dismounted carefully, one hand holding his nose which WAS broken and bleeding. The inside of his mouth was all cut up too, and a busted lip thanks to that bludger. He spat some blood on the grass and leaned against his broomstick for support, feeling dizzy but AWESOME.

It hadn't been the best idea going for that one goal right after being hit, but he'd been closest to the goal and all... first time he'd missed a shot in a game. Even with a good reason for it it still tweaked him a little on the inside. Room for improvement and all that though! He spat some more blood, the whole bottom half of his face looked a mess and the metallic tang of it made him feel a little ill.

STILL VICTORY WAS SWEET. He needed to give Theo a fistbump since they'd managed one of their sneaky plays passing the Quaffle off when Mo and Mika had sandwiched him and gone all elbows and shoulders with shoving and whatnot. Not to mention his bestie had pwned the hoops.

He ran his tongue around his teeth, checking they were all there as he looked up at the stands.

For reasons.

Mmk. Great. Whoop-de-do-dah. They won. Whatever. That was great and all, but he wanted to get DOWN. And he wanted to get down now.

Too high. This game was too high to have any fun playing. Okay, that was a lie strictly speaking... the competitive side of him kind of really liked this game of whatever. Pfft. BUT he wanted to land and go put his head between his knees. Take a breath and clock out for a few hours.

Maybe that was why his face was dead white.

Finally landing his broom, Ascanius took a few a lot of deep breaths and tried to regain his wits about him. No, no, no. Heights.

His attractive face, smirk, looked up around the pitch to see how everyone else was doing. Good, good....

...what was going on up in the stands? GLARE.

Ethan had focused too intently on the quaffle, intent on not letting yet another get by him, that he did not see the bludger until it was too late. He started to veer out of the way, but it landed square in the stomach, knocking him back a bit. He managed to stay on his broom though.. and the rest of the game was something of a blur masked by the pain in his midsection.

Upon hearing James' final tweet, the seventh year flew to the ground a little too quickly and stumbled a bit as his feet hit earth. At this point, he wasn't sure who won.. Slytherin had been in the lead though, yeah? He was feeling a bit too light-headed and dizzy right now to focus.. not to mention the pain. He clutched at his side, certain a few ribs were broken, and sat down in the snow. Ethan just needed to catch his breath for a minute, then he'd be ok.. He could then see the healer if need be, though his girlfriend was awfully good at healing spells. That was a viable option as well and he lifted his eyes to the stands.

He glanced back to the pitch, spotting a couple Slytherins.. he supposed he should congratulate them or something.. which he would.. in a minute. He just needed to rest her a second, then he'd get up. And where was the rest of his team? Ethan lifted his eyes skyward as he tasted something in his mouth.. blood? Hopefully he just bit his lip during play or something and it didn't mean internal injuries.

Mika was not a creep. Nope. There totally was a chunk of ice in Theo’s hair. Why else would she touch it – and not say sever her hand off afterwards. Because she had no idea what would happen to said hand afterwards so she just muttered, “ice” at him as she did it…hopefully he got it.

His hair didn’t look soft like other peoples. She did feel sorry about the whole bludger thing to Wests face. Hopefully his nose wouldn’t be all crooked after this. Ya know, since crooked noses didn’t always look nice. She wasn’t that steady on the broom thing today – a little nervous and all. She was just glad she didn’t turn green and spew all over either team.

Since that would be disgusting. She was already creepy – she didn’t want to be creepy and disgusting. So a quick smile at the other team and a strange look out to the stands – nope, wasn’t there…that would have been hard to watch yeah? The whole getting shovy thing and especially with who it was with. Shakily she made her decent to the ground and kind of stood there wobbling.

She was wobbly and standing there on the ground like she was about to fall over. Heck she was even more nervous today than she had been when she had her first…she blinked, looked at the stands again and glanced around. Oh hey maybe getting off the pitch before a certain Chaser’s girlfriend killed her would be a good idea?

It was always painful to lose, but considering Mo hadn't been injured and had played just as hard as he could, it wasn't bad as it could have been. It sort of helped, in a strange way, that West was bleeding from the face - West was a great chaser but Mo had managed to come out unscathed. He landed lightly and grinned at West, offering his bleeding sometimes-mate a hand t shake.

"Well played. I wouldn't advise trying to catch bludgers with your face again. You might end up looking more like a gargoyle than a West." And some people probably liked how West looked and might be upset if he stopped looking so... West-like.

Mo gave a nod to Essex too. The boy looked like he wanted to throw up, which was a surprise considering how well he'd played. Maybe Essex needed a victory vomit after a good game. It was gross, but who was Mo to question other people's celebrations.

"Nice work," he gave Ethan and Mika small smiles before looking to the sky. Where had Aidan gone off to, then? "Anyone seen Stone?"

Slytherin won.

Well that wasn't a surprise anymore. Her house had won multiple times prior to this match, but winning was always amazing. That awesome feeling you get, you know. Kat had pumped her fist at the air when Dylan had caught the third and final snitch for Slytherin. Heck, yeah. That's how you do it, people! However they still had two more matches, against Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, so there was more room for winning and Slytherin victory in their line. Hehe.

Kat landed and touched down, dismounting her broom and dropped it on the grass. She'll come back for that later though, because now was the time to CELEBRAAAAATE. Party at Slytherin, please? Ahem, anyway... Maybe she should just acknowledge the Ravenclaws for letting them win the match. It was awesome playing against them, I guess.
