seperate timelines SPOILER!!: Medea "Thank you. I’ll keep that in mind." An extra pair of hands was always welcomed, but Leo hadn't spoken to the caretaker yet so any plans for ceiling restoration were currently on ice. It would be bad if the leakage was extensive considering that the school wasn’t exactly rolling around in money at the moment. His mood brightened as Medea spoke of Gobstones. "I'm glad that I've so far have managed to miss being sprouted in gob. That foul gob isn't something you’d want on your robes." Leo commented. It was going to be a nice year, he envisioned. O____O She said YES!!!! Leo wanted to jump up and down in joy. Medea was going on a date with HIM! It was happening. Feeling the butterflies start moving around in his stomach, he walked around the front desk and offered her, his arm. "Shall we go get us some ice cream from the kitchen then?" Quote:
Rounding the front desk Leo stopped in front of a lioness and swamp girl, what was her name again? Since her name was eluding him for the moment he beamed at them. "Hello girl's, is there something I can help you with?" |
Quote:
The smell of it alone was enough of a warning. Though it was giving her a few ideas for... Thoughts for another time though, because she was going on a DATE with Leo...right now. Oh, goodness, she must've misunderstood that part when he asked. Shaking her head at her silly mistake, Medea smiled and hooked her arm with his. Her decision was still the same regardless of times. "Ve shall." |
HOM Hw #2 Minerva was in her favorite area.. the library. She loved the library, she loved the book, the smell of the pages, the feel of them. It was a great place to be. Love struck over her first love Oh that was right she had to do this crazy, horrible, awful spell.. That one where she had to see where someone died and she was in a location from the list that eeeep was a student. It said the library, but where in the library. Well she would just start at the front desk and make her way around. "There is going to be some serious ice cream eating after this." She said to herself and took a deep breath. Doing the counter clockwise circle with her wand and putting it through she spoke in a not so quiet voice "Spiritum Revelio" She looked to the floor and around the room and then froze and did a small frown. Oh and there were the weird green dead people marks. So that's where the student had died. it felt so weird being near a place that a student.. STUDENT died. |
HoM HW 1 Time to get that History of Magic homework done.. Ethan had been putting it off for far too long and he knew he was running out of time. Carrying his journal with notes from class, the prefect knew that his first stop was going to be the library. It was really scary to think that a student had been murdered here not that long ago.. his aunt had actually been a student here then. He had owled her about it after class just to find out what she knew or remembered, thinking it might help him with his homework. He didn't want details or anything. She had said he was found near the front desk so that's where he headed to get this first location over and done with. Glancing over his notes, he pulled out his wand and pointed it at the area right in front of the desk. "Spiritum Revelio!" he commanded as he drew a counterclockwise circle with his wand, then pointed it through the circle. It didn't take long for his eyes to find the green outline of that dead kid's body on the floor. Ethan stared at it for a moment somewhat morbidly. It was awfully freaky to think about. |

Laura looked at Ethan and smiled. "I Ethan" Laura was still trying to keep her thoughts to herself, but she was still a bit scared about what she had just seen. "Spirit Revel" Laura said pointing her wand at the floor but nothing happened, what was she doing wrong. |

He glanced back to the spot where he had seen the spell work only to find that the green outline had completely faded. Good thing too.. since it appeared Laura was casting the spell.. or at least attempting to. She was a fifth year, right? How was she ever going to pass her OWLs? "No.." he started, shaking his head a little. "The incantation is Spiritum Revelio.. and the wand movement is a counterclockwise circle, then point the wand through the circle." He waited for her to try it again. "So, I take it you're working on your History of Magic homework, too?" Well, Ethan hoped.. or else it was a pretty morbid spell to just randomly going around casting. "I just started if you want to work together.." He still had a few more places to go and wasn't sure how close to finishing the girl was.. but it might make things go a little faster if he had some company. He wasn't all that keen on doing this particular homework in the first place. |

Laura looked at Ethan and decided it was time to get serious with the spell "Spiritum Revelio" Laura made sure she did the right wand movement and everything and watched as the spell worked. "I didn't want the spell to work." Laura sighed at Ethan, "I'm going to have nightmares for a week now" |
History of Magic: Post 3. After the shaky experience upstairs, Dylan took the slow trek down to the Library to clear his thoughts. It was rather silly of him to be nervous about dead people...As he told himself this, he remembered that spirit who'd possessed the plant...Yea. He felt rather justified in being on edge about the whole matter... Approaching the library, he stopped to take some deep breaths before entering. He'd done his research on this one. Set Avis...who'd been a Hufflepuff...had been touched by Lord Voldetortist...or whatever his name was...and had died at the Front Desk. It was all rather sad...but at least it had been a Hufflepuff. Hearing about Slytherins dying shook Dylan too much. More than he'd openly admit to others. Wasn't his fault at all that he cared about his housemates... Ew. Caring... Sad but true, though. Dylan DID care. Not stopping to say 'Hello', 'Good day'...or anything...He raised his wand and pointed it at the Front Desk. He assumed he'd be successful with this one...Considering he knew the EXACT location. Precision accounted for something with this spell, yes? ...And then he was clearing his mind....as he had all the previous times... Performing the motion, Dylan forced out the incantation. "Spiritum Revelio!" He'd closed his eyes for some reason...Once again, it was hard to know why he was reacting to performing this spell like this. It was sketchy...Made him feel terrible....Ugh. As he'd suspected, a faint, green-tinge appeared...A smaller one, too...Dylan couldn't remember exactly...but how old had Set Avis been with he'd been touched by that guy?.....He'd need to further research...as he couldn't rightfully remember... Right, the Captain was done here.... Off to the grounds now... |
Help Please ^_^ Anya bit her lip nervously and approached the front desk. She wasn't sure if what she was looking for was available. Or... where to even start. She looked around. Libraries were so weird without computers. Did Hogwarts use like... card catalogs? What did that even look like? Anyway. Mister Librarian Face? You had a Gryffindor in need! |

... ... she shuddered slightly. Oh. Right. Help. She needed some of that. "... I was wondering if you could direct me... to..." She bit her lip wondering the best way to phrase it. "I was wondering about Azkaban... particularly the type of... cases that end up there. Maybe... old case records of something like that? Is there a book that would have it? It not here... maybe I could order one...?" And... she could just pretend that was a totally normal request. |
Alright so… she was finally not so stressed about NEWTs. She had passed the moment when she thought that she would get Troll in Muggle Studies. So things were going better. The seventh year was more confident now. But that didn’t mean she wouldn’t be spending some time at the library studying a bit. She wanted to get great results. She needed great results. So she had her mind set on reading the notes she had made for Transfiguration. Which was why she was making her way towards the library study area. As she passed by the front desk, she decided to stop by for a moment. ‘Hello Mr. Kitridge’, the Ravenclaw greeted with a small smile. |
