The driver and snack lady sit waaaaaay up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here! Careful you don't sit in the Prefects' cab though. They bite.

Ahhhh. So Toby liked Tag's name. That made him smile. With his name it was either a win or a lose, it just depended on the person's opinion. "Well, kid, Toby, now you know a Tag." said the blonde happily. "I can sing. Though last time I did Lex ended up laughing at me. I think." But, did any of them have an actual wizard radio on them? It wouldn't be a party without some music or singing. "Or we can all just sing together. No one's gonna judge each other." Toby's idea of a quidditch sort of game quickly confused Tag, but either way it was too cramped to play whatever it was that Toby had suggested.
Hey! If Cassia was sharing Lex's candy to everyone then Tag should get some too. After all, she was half the reason he was left with a throbbing shoulder one day. He reached over to her and grabbed a couple of candy out from the bag and then popped them into his mouth. "Delicious. Thanks, Cassia-yes! Thanks for the candy, Lex!!!"
"We're not dangling Lex out the window, Cassia. That's insane." Tag said disapprovingly. Oh, and then Mo mentioned it. See, it WAS a very bad idea. No matter how funny it seemed to Tag.
Queen of Typos | The OTHER OTHER Roro | WICKED is Good
When she first suggested the idea it seemed pretty cool and less hurtful. Then both of the boys disagreed, maybe they were right. What if they lost hold of Lex. She'd just fly out of the train and they'd wish she had a broom for her not to mention them being emotionally traumatized. None of them would ever want to ride a train again. So nope, no dangling. The snake nodded in agreement sealing the case. She also reached for more candy to push the negative thoughts away. And everyone were helping themselves. "Welcome, Toby." She said to the boy then to the lion next to her, "Any time, Philosopher Tig," You know, using their nicknames for each other. "We'll do another fun thing," She said to Lex.
One idea down, next to the others.
She listened to Toby's idea….or attempt of idea. She understood nothing and justified that with the fact that she didn't play Quidditch. He must have used special terms or something. The attempt counts though. Back to Mo's idea.
Human Gobstones.
Cassia sucked on a candy letting her imagination wander off and show her stuff. Yup, she did that. Cool, huh? By the time she was back from her imagination trip, everyone was asking how to play that. Before Mo answered, she chimed. "I'm pretty sure we're gonna use people as balls." automatically her eyes trailed off to Toby. He was the smallest you know. But she wasn't going to suggest that. Her reputation mattered and being known as a bully wasn't something she looked forwards to. Nope. Mo might even have something totally different in mind.
"Please, do talk in details, we're all ears." She turned to Mo with Cat perched on him.

Okay. So... now he had to make Human Gobstones a real game. Mo rested his cheek against Cat's shoulder as he considered the best way to do that. He could do this. He was a Ravenclaw and made up games ALL the time. Sort of. He amused himself using his own brain, which was practically the same thing.
"Okay, so..." Mo slid forward slightly to snatch candy from Lex's bag, since she was offering it and all. "So we'll play Jack Stones. Three on three, unless we get anyone else to play with us. My... shoe will be the Jack Stone." He toed off one shoe and kicked it out to the middle of the floor. "One from each team will sit out each round, because they're in charge of placing the Jack Stone somewhere in the carriage. Everyone else is blindfolded, and you will each get four steps to move yourself somewhere in the carriage. Whoever is closest to the Jack Stone, their team wins. Got it? Then we'll switch who isn't blindfolded and play again."
Someone else could pick the teams, since Mo was pretty much sapped out in making decisions.

Cat laughed at Tag, "Hi you back at you, you." She paused to think on what he had been talking about before he said hello to her, pinning the tail on the witch? "I respectfully request these pins stay away from my bum."
Please and thank you cause ow! Besides, her bum was busy sitting on Mo.
Then she caught Cassia saying that she was about to be 15 and Cat head tilted in her direction, "Cassia, when is your birthday?" Cannoli cake? Maybe that was in order here. She was already thinking logistics. She turned her eyes on to Alexa and smiled in response to her rather enthusiastic greeting. It was true, she didn't exactly trust her though it was more like she felt she had to guard her every move because she didn't know when things would be reported back to Mo's sister who might take a page of Aspen Odessa's book and send her an eyeball.
She very much did not want an eyeball or anything else along those lines.
Cat also grinned at the giggler. He was a cute one, wasn't he? Aww. Presh. "Hi Toby, I'm Cat." True story too. But she was apparently on the move now so Cat glanced at Mo. "You didn't say hello to me." Tsk. No treats for him then. But then he was kicking shoes and making up games. Hmm. She was more interested in eating.
Yeah I broke that mirror, so what? ll NOT backward ll Official Gryfferin ll Lemon's favourite
She was real happy everyone could share her joy in the form of candy, really she was but she couldn't help cringing every time someone else helped themselves. Sugar withdrawal would happen soon, she was sure of it. No candy now, no candy yesterday, merlin it was a wonder she didn't' start itching already!
Lex kept quiet by the window, half trying to distract herself from the candy she couldn't have, half listening to Mo who was explaining the game. She wasn't even gonna comment on Cassia saying they could find something else that was fun. Nothing beat hanging from a window, she should know that. Well...okay, maybe riding a rabid chimaera could have been more fun but they were fresh out of those and this window thing wasn't happening so...Human Gobstones it was!
Was he done explaining?
"Right. So, no window stunts I suppose and he said three on each team. I'm guessing Mo and Cat are on the same team, Kitty!Tobias can join them and I can be on a team with Cassia and Tag." Or was this being too bossy? Giving people teams instead of letting them choose seemed like something Vivi would do so naturally she wanted to take that route.
"Everyone okay with that or....?" Did they wanna make some switches?

Cat. Another easy name to remember, mainly because Tobias liked cats. Word association and all that. Something he'd learnt at his last school to help his memory. BACK TO THE DISCUSSION.
Singing? Eeeek. Toby could not sing AT ALL, and he wasn't all that eager to prove that to everyone in the carriage. He MAY be only twelve, but that was definitely old enough to realise when he'd made a fool of himself. Plus, his fellow students probably valued their ear-drums.
But before he could try and think of a suggestion to avoid singing, there was more talk of Human Gobstones and RULES and something about a shoe. Toby figured he understood, but was sure he'd work it out even if not. He GRINNED at Lex too as she put them into teams. "I'm cool with that!" Super cool. Like ICE.
Before waiting to see if everyone else was, Tobias shuffled seats so he was a bit nearer to Mo and Cat. He brought his back with him and rooted around inside of it. Toby was sure he had one in here somewhere. "Who wants to sit out first?" he asked the two with the ever-present grin still on his face. He rummaged in his back a little more before 'aha-ing' and pulling out one of his Hufflepuff school ties. A little creased from however long it had been living in the bag, but perfect for a blindfold.

Miraculously, Kaiden came a cross an empty train compartment. It was most likely because everyone was elsewhere on the train partying or something. The boy half wanted to go hang out with everyone, since he was none too happy to be going so far away from everyone for the summer. Not that he wasn't happy about going home, it was just, he'd miss his friends. Especially that one blonde girl he quite liked. The one he hadn't really spoken to because of that hair petting incident. Sitting down by the window, he gazed out it, thinking.

After dropping her trunk off in the luggage compartment, Sky wondered around the train, looking for a compartment. Which, didn't actually take too long, as she found one in the front of the train. One who's occupant obviously hadn't learned the 'don't sleep on trains lesson' yet. Oooo.....this was going to be fun.
She slipped into the compartment quickly and quietly, with an evil smirk, and plopped into the seat opposite Ariana. What was that? She wanted to be used as a footstool? Why, don't mind if I do. Yep, Sky's feet went up on the other girls back.
Mopey, sad. Irritated. That was what she was and she had almost half a mind to lock the door to her compartment but she didn't. Cause she simply didn't want to and that was that. She yawned and gifted slightly shrugging her robe off and letting it sit on her back and off her shoulders. Really she just wanted to change into her other outfit she had prepared for home but eh, Later.
Suddenly she heard the corridor door opening and someone walking in. Were they not aware who she was and that she wanted to be alone!? Reaching down she gripped her wand you know to jinx the crap out of said person when suddenly she felt feet on her back.... the hell!? Talk about RUDE! "Get. Your. Feet. Off. My. Back. Or. So. Merlin. Help you." she threatened. Her face still in the seat. "and. Leave." nice Ariana was nice you see.

Mika hand’t really expected to find Kaiden on the train. It was just her luck that her boyfriend hadn’t been at the feast, which was probably a good thing with her impromptu teapot dancing and the signing and the note she had meant to drop to a friend. And the things.
“Kaiden?” she asked, as she peaked her head into the compartment and blinked at him. “Hi…you still upset? And you missed a really weird feast…people were dancing Flamsteed kind of yelled about Pluto….there was Lafay hugging and well things were just wonky” she muttered as she looked into the room. “and if your upset about the hair thing I can go.” She muttered as she sat down across from him and pulled her knees against her. She wasn’t planning on getting up any time soon.
If she had to she would…seriously, she wasn’t in the mood to deal with glaring and people getting bratty.

Regardless of the unanswered questions, he wasn't about to deal with more frustrations that what had been needed. With Orion firmly set in his cage, he only boarded the train and deposited his luggage in the compartment before heading back towards the front cars to find himself a seat, of course he would have saved a place for Kendall whenever she showed up because he hadn't seen his girlfriend in a little while and he was curious to find out if anything major happened outside what he had deal with himself.
As soon as he had found an empty compartment, he quickly entered it and closed the door so that there was at least a moment of peace with his thoughts before a conversation managed to distract him; the sound of his owl's squawks just about shattered the silence within the compartment but he didn't mind since that proved that Orion hadn't been affected by the strange happenings at the school. At least it was the end of term and that meant getting to go back home, or well his new home in Galway which had been a million times better than living in Reading. Now it was just time to wait, which hadn't always been easy but with chocolate in his messenger bag to distract him; that wouldn't have been so bad after all.
On a positive note, Kendall had gotten most of the blue-indigo to dissipate from her hair on her own between the feast and heading to catch the train in Hogsmeade. It would have blended in with her fedora otherwise, but by now it was only a trace. There was still a bit more left until she had calmed down enough for that last little hint of color to disappear and her hair to be back to its normal pink-streaked auburn, but she felt proud that she’d accomplished getting her control back as much as she had on her own. Now there would just be the train ride to look forward to, and hopefully locating Patrick, since he’d been noticeably absent from the feast. She knew she’d find him if he was hiding out on the train, though, especially since there wasn’t any other way for him to get from Hogwarts to London, let alone to Galway afterward. He had to be on the train somewhere, and even if she couldn’t find him, she could have Accio look. One of them would find him, or she’d just go see if Beezus felt any better than before. One way or another, she wouldn’t end up sitting by herself on the ride back to Kings Cross.
After depositing her trunk into the luggage compartment, shifting a few more pieces of chocolate from it to her shoulder bag just in case, along with a sketchbook and some pencils, she’d set off to look through the compartments. She’d let Accio roam, but the cat seemed to be sticking close for now to the point of almost tripping her a few times. It was weird, but she figured the tabby cat had gone through just as much as she had. Maybe he was paranoid too, but she was fairly sure dementors wouldn’t be invading the train. Especially not after they’d gotten further away from Hogsmeade, and she’d managed to make her way toward the front cars. Once she’d gotten there, she heard a familiar owl squawk and beelined for a closed compartment door. Not even bothering to check and make sure she had the right one, she slipped inside, shutting the door again after Accio had ran in after her. “There you are,” she said, finally looking and seeing her boyfriend sitting there by himself and going over to him. She’d comforted Beezus at the feast, now she needed some, and she slid down onto the floor to lean against his legs as her cat crawled into her lap. Group cuddling was needed.

Right now, having a compartment to himself wasn’t all that bad but soon enough Patrick only began to become annoyed at the silence; funny enough it should have been something which he had been used to after spending his earlier years at Hogwarts practically being quiet and not taking to anyone, well at least that had been until a certain Ravenclaw introduced herself to him. That little two letter introduction had been what opened the door to a lot of things that basically made him become the sixteen year old superhero that he was today and honestly it was better than just closing himself off to the world since that wasn’t exactly any fun, it was more work than he was willing to deal with; of course everything else now was so much better. If he didn’t talk though, he still would have made chocolate which definitely had been something that everyone was looking for this term even if most times he wanted to keep it all to himself, not entirely possible but that hadn’t meant that it wasn’t worth a try anyway. Somehow the idea of trying to hide the chocolate had never been dropped from his mind but he did know that it would have been found eventually anyway, the stubbornness had merely prevented him from giving up entirely; superheroes didn’t give up after all, otherwise they wouldn’t have been able to save the world from the bad people that wanted to take it over for their own purposes and thoughts like that only made him a little scared.
Now he had needed something to occupy his time and the realization of his notebook being in his messenger bag had made him quite happy, at least while he was waiting, he could have continued writing the story which had taken up most of the term but it really had been worth it in the end especially considering that meant he’d be finished the story and it would have gone with the rest of his completed pieces of writing that were on the shelf right back above his bed back home. It seemed just as he had taken out the notebook, the sound of the compartment door opening had caught his attention and out of the corner of his eye, noticed Accio walking in. Huh, that meant either Kendall was nearby or.. on the floor? “I’m not sure it’s comfortable on the floor, you can come up and sit on the seat beside me after all.” he replied, merely frowning in curiosity and somewhat asking a question at the same time. Why his girlfriend was on the floor of the compartment hadn’t made any sense to him but maybe he would have found out why she was there soon enough, it was only a matter of time until she started talking.

On her way to the Prefects' compartment, Ella peeked into the compartments she walked by, smiling faintly at those she knew. It was nice seeing her friends smiling, especially with everything that had gone on this past term.
She stopped short by a particular compartment, noting who was inside. The two didn't particularly look happy and the whole scene just screamed AWKWARD to the blonde. Normally she wouldn't put her self voluntarily into such a position but these two were her friends and she wouldn't see Kaiden all summer and she hadn't seen Mika in ages. An intrusion was totally okay, yeah? ...Yeah.
"Hey, you two." She greeted as she slid the compartment door open and entered. She then took a seat next to her chaser and nudged him gently in the arm. He was good, yeah? "Ready for summer?" Seemed like a good way to start.

Did she have too much candy? Ehhh..It didn't feel like it but felt like it. She peered inside the bag and could swear it looked the same. How could it be though, everyone helped themselves. Her lousy memory. She turned her attention to Cat who asked about her birthday, "27th June, next week!" She answered excitedly. Fifteen was a cool number just like fourteen. She made a mental note to ask when Cat's birthday was. Because now they had a game to start and all.
She listened to Mo's explanation and nodded slowly taking it in. Well, sounded like they weren't going to use human balls. She was fine with that.
Then the teams, Lex took care of that. "That's cool with me," She said. Teaming up with the Gryffindors was winwin.
She watched Toby retrieving a tie and thought that they needed a tie, too. She shoved her hand into her pocket. There was always something there. Heere it was. The snake pulled out her hand clutching a head band. Colorful one. She always kept one on her because her bangs annoyed her sometimes. "I'll go first," She offered glancing at both Lex and Tag. Did anyone of them wanted to go first? She wouldn't mind. The blond held out the blindfold so that someone would tie it around her head if they agreed that she'd be the first. Or take it to tie it around their head?
Then to other team she said, "You guys, who's first?" And someone should hide the shoe. Or that would be done after they were blindfolded.

He was so upset, that much was clear. “I’m so sorry” she muttered quietly as she sat there awkwardly and then she heard the rustling of someone walking into the room and just glanced up. She couldn’t help but send Ella a little smile – sure it was a half smile but she was smiling nonetheless.
“Hey Ella” she tried to force her smile to brighten – it did, but it didn’t shine the way it did when she was truly happy. ”Yeah…summer is going to be fun I hope no major plans yet” she admitted with a little laugh. ”You ready for summer?” she asked and her smile brightened a tad.
”We should err…get together and do something maybe a trip to the beach or something on one of those really rare nice days” she beamed. She might need some girl time to be honest – maybe ice cream…maybe not or maybe just chocolate and talking to a friend about how she had ruined things with her best friend by having another friend pet her hair.
Which was lame. Mind you, hair petting wasn’t a big deal. It was just weird, someone walking up to you and saying your hair looks soft and acting like they had eaten far too much ice cream then well…yeah, she shrugged. ”So how did OWLs go?” she asked kindly.

Luckily for both of them perhaps, Forrest wasn't that good at judging people's moods; so when she looked angry upon remembering the memory, he didn't take offense. She was usually angry around him anyway, so there was no significant difference whatsoever. It was usually her words that wounded and made him sit very uncomfortably with his backpack still on. He kept staring somewhat sceptically. He still didn't buy this 'I'll be a good girl!' thing, and he was curious what she had planned.
Wait was that rat blue? How was that even--magic really produced--did she really name her rats princess and sir? What was she, Dutchess of Scotland or whatever? He wanted to roll his eyes at her dramatically, but he wasn't rude. Actually, the rat looked quite cute with its pink ears... she surely knew how to distract him...
"Cute." He meant it, but he was too afraid/suspicious/shy to comment any further. It was too awkward to sit there with her anyway, he wasn't going to make it any more awkward with small-talk.
"You like rats?" Interesting for a girl that hated mud.
This is... uncomfortable... really uncomfortable... She wished that she didn't had invited him to sit with her, she had been nice to her ENEMY and now she was trying to have a small talk with him... She shifted uneasy in her seat and knew PLENTY of thins she could say or to call him, but they were all not eh... so friendly, they were really nasty... so it would be better to not say them out loud, no... she had learned her lesson, everybody had warned her to NOT bully that boy any longer, to just let him be... And you know what? She was actually listening to all those people! She was listening to them and she didn't wanted to look like her mother anymore! So... she FORCED herself to smile at Forrest when he complimented Sir Blue. He was right about her rat Sir Blue, he was cute and adorable! Sir Blue was HER rat and everything she owned was good and pretty! "I know that he is cute, it's only a bad thing that he is blue, pink is much more prettier!" She nodded to herself and didn't really spoke directly toward Forrest, she looked at her two rats.
"Yes, i like rats, but not all of them... I only like petty rats and pink rats, and Sir Blue, of course... because he is from Little Princess.... But i don't like all those filthy rats who are eating dirt and sleeping in the trash..." Nooooo, she hated dirt and she shivered while she only thought about all those dirty things. And again, she didn't talked directly to Forrest, it was more easier to not look at him. Calling him no names was easier when she didn't looked directly at him... Be nice to him Sonea, you can do it... She took a deep breath and tried to be as nice as possible. "I hope that you don't have a cat with you..." she spoke a little worried while she looked at his belongings.

"And I didn't go to the feast because I didn't feel good." which was the truth, though most of that was just still being upset about everything.
"I'm goin..." he began, but was interrupted by the new arrival. Well, he could always tell her how much he was going to miss seeing her later right? "Hi Keeper Lady." he said, forcing a small smile. He felt like he had completely let her down this year, and he knew she had to be just as disappointed in him, as he was in himself. When she mentioned summer, his gaze shifted briefly to Miks, and then to the window. "I... guess." he said. "I haven't been home in a while." Seen his parents? yes. Been home? no. And he was excited about going home, and seeing family and hanging out with his cousins and everyone. It was just that he would miss everyone else while he was there.

YUP. She'd definitely walked in on something. The blonde tried not to let on that she noticed this, though. Instead she put on a happy face and made the most of sitting with her friends. Maybe...she could cheer them up or something? Maybe.
"You'll write while you're away, yeah?" The blonde asked as she searched Kaiden's face. She could tell his smile was forced as it didn't quite meet his eyes and that made her a bit sad. She didn't like seeing him upset.
Mika's attempt at a smile was a bit better than Kaiden's but again, it wasn't a real Mika smile. Ella made note of this two and nodded. "I'm more than ready. I can't wait to see my family and Alec is meant to come and stay for a bit." Which was extremely exciting for reasons.
At the suggestion of going to the beach, the blonde nodded. "Yeah, that sounds brilliant." Only she wasn't sure it was nice to be making plans in front of Kaiden, knowing he was probably a bit bummed about not being around all summer.
OH. OWLs. There was a subject they could discuss. Ella looked from Mika to Kaiden and sighed, leaning her head back against the seat. "OWLs were exhausting." Truly. "I think all the endless studying definitely paid off, though. I just hope I didn't fail anything."

Forrest was bad at reading moods, but he wasn't THAT bad to not see her smile was forced. Really, Sonea. She didn't have to smile if she didn't feel like it. He wasn't smiling any time soon, and he wasn't going to bite her if she didn't.
...but of course, he kept silent on the matter. He wasn't dying to talk to her, and he figured he would talk only when necessary.
Snooooort. Like, he snorted epicly. She liked pink. While she declined to look at him, his eyes were right on hers to the point of making her uncomfortable. It wasn't on purpose, though. This was still too weird to act normal, so he figured he could stare away.
Stare stare stare.
So she also knew the difference between rats too. He hadn't known that. He'd always figured every rat ate dirt and lived underground. He wanted to ask her why particularly rats, but he refrained from doing so. He didn't want any silly conflict here.
"I don't have a cat, relax." All he had was a simple backpack, a cat would suffocate in it. "You must have dyed its hair to blue, though; because rats aren't naturally blue." He paused, thinking about it. "Pink isn't a natural colour for them either." Was she torturing them?!?!?!?

Rubbing the back of his neck, he sighed. "Its fine." He looked at the girl and frowned. Why couldn't things go back to the way they were? Why did stupid guys have to go around petting his girlfriend? And why couldn't she see why it bothered him?
Keeper Lady wanted him to write? Kaiden nodded, and quickly wiped at his eye. Nope that wasn't any tear or anything, just... dust in his eye. That was it. You got that girls? "I can write, but if I'm going to send you anything, I need your address." Because what good were letters that never got sent?
While the two girls planned adventures, Kaiden found himself looking back out the window, studying the scenery, and thinking about his own summer vacation. He was sure they'd be going to the beach some, but he had no idea when that would be.
"OWLs?" Kaiden asked, tuning back into the conversation? Why on earth were they spelling out the word owl? It wasn't a bad word, and he could spell too...

Mika ran her hand through her hair before turning to Ella and smiling again. ”Ella you want to sit with us?” she asked a sort of pleading look on her face – she just needed another friend.
”I’m glad you and Alec have plans,” she smiled and glanced over to Kaiden as if telling him we should make plans. But that was just…an idea and she didn’t even express it. ”Yeah I might study a bit for them this summer” she smiled and bit her lip as she turned to glanced to Kaiden again.
Kaiden looked confused as he asked about the exams. ”Yeah OWLs – huge exam I’m planning on studying for…Ordinary Wizarding Levels” she groaned and sent him a quick smile. ”So Kaid…any plans for summer? She asked and chewed on the edge of her lip.
Yep. She totally noticed that tear whipping thing – but she wasn’t going to comment on it. He’d probably just go all Neanderthal and yell about not crying. But it was obvious wasn’t it?

His face was like one of the nicest he had EVER had the fortune of seeing and some guy had just rammed into him in the corridor and tried to play it off like it was ASCANIUS fault. What a rude jerk. Like Ascanius would have purposefully run into someone and put his face at risk. Pfft. Yeah, okay, that was a reasonable train of thought.
Whatever. He was miffed now, though. S'just real rude of people to go ahead and do what that guy did. Ascanius was NEVER like that because, smirk, look at him. He oozed charm like that guy near the food trolley oozed stupid. Stark was annoyed, yeah?
Anyway, trying to swallow all of that down, he started to wander through the corridors looking for an empty compartment or one containing his girlfriend. Either one would do, honest.
But before he came upon her, he opened up ANOTHER compartment toward the front and found Ella, Mika and that guy who always seemed to be scowling. Shrug. Maybe it was just his face.
Either way he was going to make himself at home. Walking all the way into the compartment, he nodded at Ella, "Sup, gorgeous." AND MIKA, "Beautiful," She got a lazy wink. And last of all he acknowledged the bloke who Ascanius had never bothered to learn the name of. Being that HE never like finished his sentences. S'weird.

"This compartment full?"
Mika wasn’t paying attention to the doorway at all – she hardly even noticed that someone else had walked into the compartment until they had spoken. And that familiar slightly accented voice called her beautiful. Cue the dopey smile – as any girl loved being called beautiful.
Obviously it didn’t happen enough.
Then again he also called Ella Gorgeous so it was just harmless flirting and calling girls pretty…which was nice.
”Hey Ascanius, and thanks” she smiled, and waved as she glanced up at the newest introduction to the compartment. ”I…I don’t think its full” pointed look at Kaiden, just simply asking with only her face for him to calm down and not freak out about someone joining their Compartment. "Oh congratulations on the Quidditch cup" she smiled over to him. The kind girl was just kind.
And she might still have been flushed from the awkward and the being called beautiful...and everything really.

No. No, no, no. Kaiden was totally not crying because if he was crying, Ella was going to squishy hug him until he stopped and he didn't seem the type that liked to be squished for too long. Just saying. She simply chalked the slight moisture up to allergies for her own sake and gave him a smile, reaching into her elephant backpack for her notebook and quill. "Right, that'd probably be helpful." Why hadn't she thought of that, again? Scribble. Scribble. Scribble. Tearing the paper out, the blonde smiled and placed it in his hand. "There. Now you give me yours, mmkay?" And she handed over the notebook and quill.
As for the formal invitation to sit with them, Ella smiled and nodded. "For a little bit. I've got to make an appearance in the Prefects' compartment at some point." Goodbyes and such. Meh. She'd stay for a while, though. Anything to help diffuse the tension.
"Yeah, I'm excited to spend some time with him outside school. I was thinking that if Kaiden does get a chance to come to Diagon at all, maybe we could all meet up..." Just casually throwing it out there, y'know. Nothing to see here. Mini!beam. "That's a really good plan, y'k-"
Blink.
Had Kaiden seriously just asked that? Ella sort of started at him for a minute, letting the other blonde explain. He...should probably know about those, yeah? Considering he'd be taking them next term and all. "Y'know, Kaiden, you'll be taking those next term too. If either of you need help studying, just let me know." She was an expert on them now, after all.
Just then another person joined the party and Ella looked up, observing him with a curious expression. He sure liked to compliment people, Ascanius did. Normally she would have blushed but she was sort of use to him calling her that. She figured Ascanius calling girls 'beautiful' and 'gorgeous' was just like nicknaming friends to other people. It was a nice gesture but nothing to get all flaily about. "Hello, Face." BEAM! As in, you have a nice one. Ella appreciated nice faces.
The sixteen year old didn't really get the pointed look at Kaiden from Mika and simply raised her eyebrows, focusing on the Slytherin instead. "Plenty of room for you." So he could sit if he wanted. Oh and... "Yeah, congrats. You're a brilliant flier." Well, when he didn't look like he was going to throw up. Though maybe that was a West trademark now? Poor kid.
Kaiden watched at Keeper Lady wrote her address, and he peeked over her shoulder a bit to see it. Folding up the paper, and stuck it in his shirt pocket. That was a good place to keep it safe.... hopefully. "Oh, yeah." Taking the note pad and pen, he went Scribbled the address for his parents house in South Carolina.
At the mention of the prefects compartment, carefully did not wipe his face. Nope, that did not happen. The sun, it was in his eyes. "To see Captain?" he asked his older house mate. He... did not want to go visit her because then he would be sad.
If he got the chance to come? "It will probably be the end of summer, but I can try. It depends on my parents and everything."
Listening as Miks explained the owl things, Kaiden nodded. "And I have to take them?" he asked looking between the two girls. well, at least there were people he could study with. Shruuuuug. "I'm going home, and doing home stuff" That was about it.
Just as he was about to maaaybe mention the beach, someone completely uninvited and unwanted appeared. That was just great. Just as Kaiden was about to answer the room question with a No, both of the girls went a head an answered with the WRONG answer. He caught the look from his girlfriend, but didn't know what to do with it. "Yeah, there's room." he said getting up. "I'm going to go find Seeker or Odessa or someone." Anywhere but here was good.

Ascanius totally wasn't shocked by the response he got when he entered the compartment by the two ladies. Hey, with a great face came a great responsibility, he understood that and THEY seemed to appreciate it. So he was pleased. The nickname, face, on Ella's part was not lost to him. S'was always real nice to hear someone talk about his face. 'Cause he wasn't going to do that, duh. His ego wasn't that big. Pfft.
Although, the greater compliment to his features was the flush that crept up on Mika's face. It was a nice, big good work on the face, Ascanius to him. And you know, freshly tossled JUST out of bed hair was hard to accomplish. His girlfriend had run her fingers through it and everything. Looking this good was only partially natural. The rest of it was just sheer, dumb luck and a smirk.
Nodding at Ella, he furthered their conversation with a brief question, "Ready for the holiday, gorgeous?" Some time away from this dump sounded real good right now, yeah? Of maybe that was just him.
Turning over to Mika, he smirked broadly, "Thanks," he settled into a seat next to the Hufflepuff bloke and continued on, "Good season. And your team, Ella, played real well, gorgeous." He felt like he needed to say that to Ella. After all her team did play well.
But he did shift uncomfortably when she mentioned flying. His entire face grew tense and his hand started to anxiously tap on his knee. Drummer here, nothing to see. Except maybe a little panic. "Yeah, yeah," change the subject, change it now....
Oh LOOK, perfect subject change. The bloke was leaving, "No need to leave on my account." And could he NOT make all those pitiful faces? Didn't help his case at all.
