The driver and snack lady sit waaaaaay up front in the driver's cab, but there are plenty of other compartments up here! Careful you don't sit in the Prefects' cab though. They bite. |

I didn't really see a point but Chachi is definitely changing that outlook..." she rambled, turning to smile at the cat again quickly before she turned her attention back to the boy opposite her. "Yeah, that'd be really cool... especially in winter because I hate the cold... although I do like the occasional snow ball fight. And then it would also be cool because if we tried for the Quidditch team we could be on the same team... or for anything else that's house related" Kahlan expanded, a large grin on her face as she thought of it, just trying to remind herself to not hope too much in case they weren't. Even if they weren't it didn't mean that they couldn't be friends though thankfully, especially as Sylvester was one of her first friends that wasn't influenced by her family. "Because I already told you that I play piano!" the blonde whined, pouting at the boy opposite. "It's only fair you tell me whether or not you play an instrument or like music considering I told you with the books..." Sly nodded, a smile on his face as he watched the way that Kahlan interacted with the small kitten, personally he found it quite adorable, another thought that would never be voiced aloud but he had a feeling over the next few years the relationship between the girl and the cat would be interesting. It already looked like the kitten had the girl wrapped around it's paw, and it knew so too! "You have a brother?" he asked, cocking his head to the side hoping he hadn't missed that in a previous conversation. The boy was actually fairly curious about what having a sibling was like though, considering he had none, but the amount of cousins he had, and the close relationship to his parents, probably made up for it.
Suddenly he found himself chuckling again at the girl's whining. "Fine, fine, I do like music and I taught myself guitar when I was little because I saw one of my cousin's playing one" |

Yes. Ow with a question mark. "What was that for? I'm awake. Look at my eyes," he said as he widened his eyes open with his face only inches from hers. Okay, not a good idea. He quickly returned to his "area" of the compartment, and looked away. Again he was blushing. 'DO. NOT. LOOK. BACK. YET.' He kept thinking to himself while letting the pink in his cheeks die out. Die out....like a flame. "Sorry," the blushing, brown haired boy mumbled. What, was what the word of the day? Because it seems like so. Awake? If you say so. ‘Fine’, she replied with a smirk. He didn’t seem to be that lost. Heh. Gwen was about to draw her attention back to the window, when she heard Zeke say something. Sorry? What for?
To a person who didn’t always apologize even if she had to, saying ‘sorry’ so often was definitely weird. Seriously. There was no need to apologize. Gwen eventually glimpsed out the window and realized that the train must be getting closer to the station in Hogsmeade. ‘Well… we are almost there’, she said and stood up from the seat. Taking Jinx in her arms, the seventh year made her way to the door.
She had been planning to go find her friends, but she had been sitting in the same compartment the entire train ride. Well.. she still had a couple of minutes left to say ‘hello’ to her friends. So Gwen made her way to the train corridor, but stopped as she got near the compartment door and looked back at Zeke. ‘I’ll see you at the feast, yes?’

'Did I say something wrong? Do anything wrong?' Yeah, he's clearly bothered by this. But he didn't say a word to her.
Plastering a smile on his face, Ezekiel looked up at Gwen and nodded. At least she wasn't entirely avoiding him. Once she was gone, the not-so-young-anymore Gryffindor looked out the window. Hm, maybe the train is almost there. Ohwell.
But it wasn't actually there yet. So for the remaining time, he'll rest. Readjusting his position, Zeke placed his feet up on the opposite seat, leaned against his seat, and closed his eyes. Sigh.
The silence inside was strangely a comforting thing. Quote:

She pet his little pet with her pointer finger and motioned for the guy to sit.
she blinked a few times as he asked her if she we're willing to help.. she wouldn't of let him come in here if she wasn't going to.. ugh. stupid boys "Look, i wouldn't of let you in my compartment or anywhere near me if i didn't think you were desperate for some help with some girl you like." yeah, she wasn't dumb "So just tell me the situation and i'll give the best advice i can then you go on and do what i say." she said quite frankly as she put salazar on her lap and he stretched out his wings and shook slightly. heh cute bird Making himself comfortable in his seat, he stared at the girl with an incomprehensible expression. What.....on.....earth. "What are you talking about?" Zeke was skeptical and annoyed. Who was this girl to make assumptions that like? Given if it was true, that was plain rude. Hmmm. SLYTHERIN. This girl was 100% Slytherin, as far as Zeke guessed. Well look Zeke, now who's making assumptions?
Even thought it did come off kind of rude of the girl (not that it was anything new considering how VERY rude Gwen was to him all the time)....she did say she'll give her best advice. NONONO. Wait, that wasn't the point. "You know, what? Nevermind. I'll wait until I can finish the story rather than listen to you, Miss Know-It-All." He stood up and left the compartment, making his way to his own. Yep, this guy was a Gryffindor. Could not stand to get his pride hurt.

Alexa was right about the room comment and Sarah agreed, although she was not opposed to someone cleaning up for her..
Then Alexa began to laugh, that puzzled Sarah yet she smiled anyways. Alexa did not seem to internalise a word Sarah was saying, yet Sarah did not mind, what Alexa did was her business and Sarah was her friend not her father or teacher.
Then Alexa had to go. Sarah would have waved after the girl if her trunk was not on her head. Then Sarah moved over to the ticket guy, got her thing stamped and moved on in the train

Agh the fooooddddd cart! When would it be here? Oh well might as well talk some more in the meantime. "Uh, how much of a stickler to the rules are you?" She asked. Tora all all intention to go out searching at odd hours if she felt like finding something out (likely) and possibly searching in areas off limits to students. She would of course do her best not to get caught but... there wouldn't be any promises. She needed to know how much she could potentially trust Isobel in that respect. Besides, getting in trouble every now and then made life interesting! "Ugh, I know," Isobel said. "But what if they sent the letter to the wrong person, or, or messed up somehow, or..." She knew that she was probably just making stuff up, but she was irrationally afraid that something was going to go wrong. No matter how fool-safe, she'd probably manage to screw things up somehow. "Oh, I'm pretty sure that she's staying up by the front of the train. We could go see, if you've got any money." Mmm, chocolate frogs were Isobel's favourite, and she was a fan of liquorice wands too.
Well that was an unexpected question. "I mean, I wouldn't say I'm a... a stickler, per se, I just think that things generally go more easily if you follow the rules, you know?" It wasn't that she enjoyed rules, but they were usually there for a reason, and besides, it would be awful to get caught. "Oh, and I hate it when people break rules just for the sake of breaking rules. I mean, it's fine if you've got a legitimate reason, but if you're just doing it for the thrill? Ugh."

Tora looked about in her bag and pulled out a couple sickles. She was about to stand and go to the trolly when she looked outside and realized that they were pulling into the station. Here already?! "Well, I guess that's it for candy. We're here. Oh and I don't break rules for the fun of it. Just when I need to know something. Or if I think they're ridiculous. But anyway- lets go!" She said, her conversation quickening from the sudden burst of excitement from actually being here. Tora grabbed her bag (being careful not to step on Nudge) and waited at the door to the compartment for Isobel to get her things so they could go out together.
