Well, wasn't she nice.
And this was after Aanya had possibly fractured her foot.
The luggage compartment? She had no idea where that was. "Oh. Right." Nodded the little girl vigorously, then followed with, "Could you, maybe, show me where the luggage compartment is?"
Because obviously, the little one had been so excited about getting on the train that she hadn't noticed that there was a luggage compartment. Neither had the girl noticed that no one else was trying to shove their trunks onto the train like she was.
Stupid. Stupid. Stupid.
And here she thought she was Ravenclaw material.
"Oh it's fine." Lex lied, the smile still settled on her face. Her foot. it HURT. She tried giving it a little rotating action just to make sure nothing was amiss but quickly abandoned that when a sharp pain greeted her. Yeah, kid was lucky she was probably a first year and at any rate she was new. This was her get out of jail free card. She'd just used it.
Help? She wanted help?
"Sure, of course I can! It's not that hard to find actually...but then, you're new so that might not be all that true. I'm Alexa by the way, Third Year Gryffindor in Charge," BEAM, "and you are?"
Introductions were important. They were what stayed with you long after the term started. They were what decided if someone would dive at a man-eating plant for you or not. If only Milton knew. Sigh. If only. Could have saved himself the trouble and the near death experience. Now he was off in the big world and he probably wouldn't last a day. They tried to warn him, her and Lottie but he wasn't exactly the smartest 'Claw so...yeah.
"And how's about this? You carry my kneazle," She said, gesturing to the one tucked away in her arms, "and I'll carry the trunk?" She didn't fancy having it fall on her or anyone else again, thank you very much!

Watching as this one dropped her trunk, Mister Akumu stepped to the side to avoid all the unnecessary chaos. "TICKET!" he said loudly at her.
The girl jumped and almost fell over.
Now, really. Was there any need to shout?
Fishing her ticket out of her bag, she handed it to the man.

Aanya was not that stupid.
Sure, she hadn't noticed some things that were obvious to others, but really, she could notice that the girl was in a lot of pain because of her. But then again, that would have been obvious to ... well ... anyone.
The little one beamed too. A Gryffindor! Woah. So she was one of the brave ones, eh? If Aanya does not make it into Ravenclaw, she wanted to get Gryffindor.
"I'm Aanya. A first year." As for a house .... well ... she didn't know yet, did she.
The brunette liked Alexa already. And she was glad her parents had left. She didn't want them to see that she couldn't handle her trunk after she had made such a big deal about it. "Ok, then," She said, looking at the kneazle in Alexa's arms.
IT WAS SO CUTE!
"What's its name?" She asked curiously, unsure if it was a he or a she.

Juliet smiled at Christina, she forgot how she was just starting to live in London. However, she never forgot about the France thing. "That's nice to hear" Juliet just lives in her uncle's house in London. Her father never saw the reason for staying in London too. "Looking forward as well" yup and this time she'll be in the sixth year too. That should be fun. No more OWLs and no NEWTs yet. All Juliet needs to do was sit back and relax. "You should get your appetite ready. The moment we reach Hogwarts, a feast will be served" and Juliet knows that Christina will enjoy that the most. She sure did when she came to Hogwarts.
"I'm so excited to go back. I miss Hogwarts already" don't they all? "You should totally visit the Whomping Willow when you have the time" maybe she has heard stories of it from her family.
Thanks, Juliet. Now she really couldn't wait any longer to arrive at Hogwarts because of her story, especially about the feast. Mm-Hmm. Now her imagination flew to a feast with a full table of very great cuisine. Wow, it was very amazing. "Oh gosh, I'm really looking forward for it already!" She beamed and became impatient. Oh come on, train could you arrive at Hogwarts soon? It's a magical train, right? So it shouldn't be taking a very long time to reach the castle.
Whomping Willow? Yeah, Christina did ever heard about that from her brother. Daniel mentioned it once and he said that it was huge, strong and dangerous tree. "My brother mentioned it.. once." She said. "Well, id it very.. dangerous? I mean, have you seen any students being injured because of that tree?" She asked in a low voice. Well, she did believe about the tree, she was just curious if the legend Whomping Willow really could make someone badly injured. Just that, Okay?
And suddenly someone interrupt them. Huh? Was there any other person wanted to join them? But then she was realized that he wasn't a student. "Ticket? Oh!" She took a golden ticket from her pocket and handed it to the the man. "Here it is, sir." she gave him a fake smile. Gosh, he's not very friendly. He even didn't smile, Christina was about to say 'Did your parents not teach you how to smile and be friendly?' but she'd rather to keep her mouth shut.

EEeeeeppp!!
Yes! She knew it! A firstie!!! Just what she always wanted!!! There was even more grinning and beaming now! "Awesome! You know what house you want to be in yet? I say you should be a Gryffie, we have cookies and adventures, but you know, you could be anything as long as you have a brain." Lex may have been being nice but at the end of the day that stuff still mattered to her. She was terribly allergic to stupidity and wouldn't tolerate it in anyone.
She would have told her it was nice meeting her too but see...she had to have that proven first. Not that she thought it wouldn't be 'cause this girl seemed pretty decent. She was just the type to wait til the conversation was properly over.
"Great, here." She waited for the girl to fully release the trunk before placing him in her hands. "His name's Felix, he likes attention no matter where it's coming from." She looked around, wondering if she was just being oblivious again before deciding to ask. "Do you have a pet? One hidden away in a cage maybe?" She couldn't see much and wasn't sure.
It was fine if she didn't. One less thing for him to try making a meal of. "Now just head that way and I'll be right behind you giving you directions." Sounded simple enough?

Lex was sure she heard singing but even more importantly she knew who the singing was coming from. Not long after she received confirmation when her name was being called. "OHAI SARAH!!" BEAM. She hadn't seen the girl once since they went off on break. It just seemed like ages ago when she thought about it.
She looked over at the man in question before rolling her eyes.
"I don't care what his excuse is, he's a completely ruuuuude individual. I hope he falls off the train." She didn't bother whispering that either. It didn't matter. It probably wouldn't have gotten a response from him either. Oh but then she was suddenly wishing she could take that back. Sarah was the type to see the good in everyone and she might have scolded her for her ill-wish. The wish was still there, she just...shouldn't have said it to Sarah maybe...?

He wasn't even going to waste his energy speaking to this one. Clicking his ticket puncher in his hand, he grunted at the girl.

He didn't even look at the ticket while he punched it this time. He was just that good at his job. Ticket punched, he handed it back to her and then left the compartment.

Icy stare. That is what this one got for her actions. He did not care if he was not liked. He was not paid for that.
Her ticket punched, the girl found her ticket being shoved right back at her.
Hadn't any of these kids lost their tickets? Things had sort of been counting on this happening...
Well, thank goodness they didn't require people to run through another brick wall to actually board the train. If he didn't have to do that again until next year, so much the better. Wizard-in-the-making he may have been, but there was something deeply unsettling about hurtling yourself at what looked to be a solid surface with the expectation to go through.
Now that he was a little more settled, he was starting to see just how many of the students around him had pets of some description. His grandfather had suggested that he purchase an owl to carry his mail, but that was, of course, one of the most ridiculous things Tyr had ever heard of. And he'd heard a lot of ridiculous things since finding out he could do magic, up to and including the apparent presence of a hat at the school that read your mind and decided what dormitory you were to stay in.

There was always something about Alexa that made Sarah smile even more than it was physically possible.
Sarah just smiled as Alexa spoke, yet her smile disappeared faintly, "Alexa, we should not wish evil on anyone. You might not want him on the train, yet falling off the train is a bit harsh. My mother always tells me that my face is public property, and just coz I am in a bad mood does not mean that others should smile. Yet, we should always judge others favourably, in fact we should not judge people at all as each person has their own past to contend with..." Sarah felt bad for Alexa, really carefree Alexa did not deserve to have a serious friend like her. Sarah then decided to move onto nicer topics, "so, how was your holiday? Looking forward to third year?"

The guy just grunted, Sarah just smiled again. "Oh, are you a mute or something - wait you speak to the others, so maybe you are a selective mute...
sorry, what do you want? By the way, I speak English" The trunk on her head was not comfortable at all. She hoped the person would find his tongue so she could move on.

It's good to hear some enthusiasm from Christina. At least she's not one of those people who were forced into doing or going into something. Now, the question is, which house would she be placed on. "Hope you'll be in Slytherin too. We live under the lake. It's awesome" she smiled while nodding. Well, who doesn't think living under a lake is not awesome? Plus, students, other than Slytherins think that the dungeons are so creepy. They have got to stop exaggerating that story. It's just dark and sometimes smelly but that was the sum of all of it. Pretty much.
See... and so she knows the magnificent tree. "I've never been close enough for it to tackle me but I like that tree a lot" yes, there was something about it that was just really beautiful. "Not that I have know of" she said as her eyes blinked while recalling. Wait. Was there? noooo. right? She's not sure if there was really. "let's just hope nobody gets injured and besides, there's a strict rule not to go near it" was it a rule? Well, it's pretty much initiative and common sense.
And out of nowhere this weird guy just came in and stared at her like he was about to attack her or something. Juliet cocked an eyebrow as she stared back at the man. What? She was about to ask him when he uttered out ticket. Phew. Thought he was some kind of weird person from the Ministry that wants to sell them something. Juliet took the ticket out from her pocket but before she gave it, her eyes never left the man. "Are you a vampire?" she asked out of curiosity. he was too stiff and he lacked more than 3 emotions. And he doesn't smile. What kind of ticket collector doesn't smile? "Ticket" she finally said as she handed hers to the vampire dude.
Probably, since it is his last year, he'll ride up in the front cars for a change. It seemed more peaceful here? Or maybe not. Anyway, Zeke chose to be here. Walking with that same dull expression, he stared at the ground as he passed by whatever was on his way, lost in thought.
It wasn't much of a big deal, what he was thinking of. To others, it may just seem silly. And downright, foolish to even take this as a problem. Merlin, the Gryffindor should be happy, even. Should he?
Dragging what seemed to be a luggage, it was however too small to be considered one since he decided to pack 'lightly' considering it's his final year, Zeke finally looked up.

Yuuuuuup, there it was, the lecture she'd expected for what she said. Sigh. She loved Sarah but merlin, it was only a joke...no...no it wasn't. Nevermind. But still, getting a lecture for it was not how she wanted to start off her train ride. "Yeah, mhm, suuuuure." She kept her own smile in place, only half listening now. At least she was smiling!!!
She was more than happy for the change in conversation that came afterwards. "My holiday was kinda boring to be honest. Daddy wasn't in the country so I was stuck with Amanda and she didn't make me do anything--I got to hang out around Diagon Alley for a bit though. Do you go there? I don't think I've run into you there before." It was rather odd but true. On several occasions while she was there she tried looking for the girl but was never successful.
"And you bet I am! I think I've finally gotten use to the name as well! What about you? You're a fourth year now!! And how was your summer??"

After being all the way back at the line, Galena had finally reached the front. Some of the people who had been at the front of the line when she'd first got there, were still here talking by the door. This frustrated Galena.
Turning back to the ticket man, she confidently flicked her ticket up for the ticket master too see, before her could say tickets!.

Tyr glanced over toward the source of the shouting, and realized that she was waving at him. His expression dubious, because why would an older girl student be shouting at him to come over, he sidled past the train conductor and came to a stop in front of her.

Well... so much for lightening him up a bit. This man was strictly business, maybe he didn't know too much English.. or he could just simply hated kids. Heh. "Yeah, here you are." Wade nodded lazily at him while handing his ticket over. "Been working here long?" Leave it to Wade to continue talking.

Hesitation? She thought to wonder why, especially with her even bothering to smile but then she remembered that the kid probably really was a firstie. Might have made it seem odd to him. She shrugged it off as he made his way over to her.
Lex took a moment to size him up once he was standing before her. Hmmmmmm. She pulled a chocolate frog from her bag with her free hand and ripped it open with her teeth; the sacrifices she made so Felix could remain comfy in her hand. Oh, but back to staring at him and sizing him up. She did that for another moment while nomming away at the head of her chocolate frog.
Finally she spoke. "Haven't seen you before. Are you a first year? I've been looking for a few of those if I'm being Honest. My name's Alexa, you can call me Lex if you want, most people do anyway and you got a name, yeah? What is it?" Perhaps rambling wasn't the way to go but...yeah...

Ascanius was so NOT looking forward to this train ride. If waiting around on the platform had been any indication of the types of people at Hogwarts he wasn't excited. Scratch that. He was excited for all of the girls because literally everyone on that platform was super fit. Smirk. But all of the guys seemed like grade A nancys and no one wanted to deal with those type of people, 'specially him. If he wanted to talk to a girl- look at him- he would be able to... he didn't want to have to talk to girly!men on top of that. Jeez. They all needed to grow a backbone.
So basically, Ascanius was bored already.
Finding a compartment that suited him nicely[, he slid open the door and plopped down. He figured that at least the seats were comfortable so Hogwarts was doing THAT right.
Now he was just gonna wait. Unless someone wanted to join him of the female variety. He wouldn't be so against that. Wink.
Expression neither rising nor falling at this one's flailing, he seized the boy's ticket and punched it. Grunting, he returned it to the boy and then walked away.
Children were creepy.
Forrest's smile was FROZEN on his face at the man's... manners.
He blinked, and almost started crying again. It was funny how this man that didn't do any harm to him could bring him on the verge of tears. For some reason, he'd believed wizards were all smiling people (what else to do when you can solve EVERYTHING with magic?) and he was now... disillusioned.
He shoved the tickets inside his pocket and bent down to collect the things that's fallen on the ground. Then he grabbed his bag's holder and walked forward, trying to catch a glimpse of his mother again.

Tyr stared at her. Well, at her mouth. Well, actually, at the legs of the chocolate frog that flailed while she bit its head off. Okay. Moving chocolate. He'd been warned about moving chocolate, but now he'd seen moving chocolate. That came in the shape of a frog. What.
She was talking. He actually saw it before he heard it, since he was already looking at her mouth. Wondering if it had been an actual frog changed to chocolate, or if they poured the chocolate into the mold and then charmed it.
Talking was still happening. Time to pay attention.
"I'm Tyr. Tyrion. Everard. Tyr's fine." His gaze flicked up so that he looked at her eyes, "Why are you looking for first years?"

The fact that he was staring so much at her chocolate frog didn't go unnoticed. How could it? She was staring right at him while she nommed. Finally, very curious about his curiosity she lowered the now half eaten frog and looked over at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Are you okay?...You want one?" She wasn't sure if she was offering just yet. Candy wasn't exactly something she liked sharing but...first year...and...and she needed those...
Mmm...maybe he didn't want one anyway.
"I'll stick to Tyr once I can." She lost interest quickly in long names and though his name wasn't long it was longer than Tyr making it exceptionally long. Made sense? 'Course it did. Oh and he was asking why? "Well,"to build an army and take over that school slowly, duh",you lot are an interesting set and you've got the most energy really. Plus you'd be more ideal for stuff." Keep it vague Lex. No need to scare him away.

Haha, I can't see anything possibly going wrong with that plan.

"NO. Um, no. No, you keep them." Visions of eating a back leg and having it kick him in the throat from the inside were most definitely plaguing him at the moment. Hopefully not all of the candy here liked to move around.
Her explanation was... odd. Somehow. "Stuff? What do you mean stuff?"
So Alexa has been in Diagon Alley, "yes we usually go there, yet this year we had such a short trip. It was last minute too, I kept on telling my mother we needed to go, yet she said that there was plenty of times. Yesterday morning we finally went. There was not much to buy, I just needed new robes yet otherwise I get alot of it from my older brothers. I love hand me downs, it is so economical that way. Yet it means less time in the Alley, next year we should really meet up!" Sarah said
"Enjoy it I have not gotten used to being a fourth year, Sarah Edwards, third year is still like a reflex on my tongue! My summer was great. It was great to be back home and all. Yet I did miss my friends. I did some really nice touring in the British muggle world, i went to museums and had a blast. and my adorable nephew came to visit -with his parents of course. He calls me SaSa!" Sarah smiled at the memory. Whenever she thought of her nephew she just had to smile.
