"Lumos." Nigel quickly put his wand away after that. She was really upset. Which is why Nigel did it. You don't mess with people's hair. Or pet their hair. Big No-No.

"You can just use Hair-regrowing spells. You know one at least, right?"

If she didn't, then Nigel would. He was content now. She was bald. Nigel was almost about to laugh. But felt like he did enough damage in the five minutes he was been in this corridor.

Laura just growled at Nigel and then snapped. "WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO MY HAIR!!! Laura wasn't happy no she wasn't, she wanted to get revenge on Nigel but her Hufflepuff in her was telling her that it was wrong to get revenge on people. "NOW TELL ME THIS INSTANT WHY YOU THOUGHT IT WAS ALRIGHT TO MAKE ME BOLD?" Laura just realised her worst fear had happened and she was bold it wasn't fair.

Did she really what him to answer that. She would not like the answer. Nigel shrugged then responded. "To test out a spell. It appears. It worked."

Nigel did not know why he was being so mean right now. Even after he made Laura bald. HeHe Bald.

"It will grow back.......Eventually."

Laura stared at Nigel, if looks could have killed Nigel would have been dead there and then. "Come on then." Laura growled "I WANT THE TRUTH AND I WANT IT NOW" Laura snapped, seriously he was testing her patent.

"YEAH AND WHAT AM I SUPPOSTED TO DO IN THE MEANTIME?" Laura growled, she didn't care who heard her, she was fuming and rightly so, he had destroyed her hair, she was bald she had never been bald before and now she was.

So she wanted the truth even though he was not techihically lying. Interesting.

"Fine. I was mad."

Don't remember why.But that did not really matter. Her glare was one of the best he has seen and that is saying something. Nigel shrugged again. Why was she asking him. He did not have all the answers.

"Wear a hat"

Laura looked at Nigel and just stared evil eyes at him. "why were you mad?" Laura wanted to know what she had done, seriously it couldn't be as bad as this, he had made her bald, she loved her hair and he had destroyed it.

"Oh yeah and what I'm I going to do in class when the Professor tells me off for wearing a hat in class?" Laura stared at him, that was one of those questions that if you said the wrong thing she would scream and shout again.

Bliss was just strolling around the castle, as you do, but THIS was not what she expected to see.

Not at all.

She approached quietly, though she tried not to spook either of them. Coming up behind Nigel, she tapped him on the shoulder, wide-eyed. "What did you do?" She whispered and stared at him and then at Laura's hairless head and back to Nigel again. "She's going to kill you," she said, like it was the obvious inevitable outcome of this whole .. thing. Whatever it was. Well, time to face the storm, Bliss thought, brushing past Nigel and approaching Laura.

"Hey there, baldie," she said cheerfully and pulled out her wand. "Need some help?" She was offering, so choose wisely, she half-smirk-smiled and twirled her wand around her fingers. Luckily for Laura, Bliss was handy with the hair growing charm, which she'd mastered back in second or third year. Anyone remember that time to grew Theo's hair out .. a lot? She sure did. Fun times.

One more thing; Bliss turned back to Nigel and eyed him. As cool as he was .. this wasn't.

She totally planned on reporting him.

Well this was not going the way Nigel thought. Though he had not really gave it much thought to begin with. Now Bliss was here. Just Great. Nigel whispered back

"I used Calvorio. Though i think you can use the hair re-growing charms to get it back."

See no harm done. Though Nigel did think what she said next was true.



"About what you wrote in the letter." Nigel took in out and showed it to here. He even underlined the part she should see.

Nigel did not want to say anymore. It would just put him in more trouble. Which was not something he planned on getting into for a while.

Laura was waiting for Nigel answer when she suddenly saw her cousin Bliss, this wasn't good because she was going to see her looking like this, she was BALD and she had no hair, what was her mother going to say, look at the blonde locks all over the floor.

Laura looked at Bliss and was she calling her baldie, well that was actually a good one. "Cuz, yes please." Laura hugged her cousin, she didn't like being bald, it didn't suit her and she didn't want people to think she was crazy and well this wasn't nice.

Laura hadn't put anything bad in the letter not that she could remember, she quickly read what he had highlighter. "I was just saying we needed to talk after what happened in the Whomping Willow." Laura glared at him, she was counting to ten to keep her calm, she wasn't going to blow it and get detention because someone wanted her angry, she was going to just count to 10 and relax, she was taking deep breaths now, this Yoga exercise they did in DADA was really paying off now.

Well Then. Nigel was wrong. Now he just hoped the hair growth spells would work.

"Well ,Then. I 'm Sorry Laura. I over reacted quite a bit."

Nigel was not the best at apologizing. Since he never really had to do it that much. Nigel walked over to Bliss and whispered.

"Do you want to do the hair growth charm or do you want me too?"

He did not really care, either way.

Walk through the corridors, coming back from the Room of Requirement, Zoe spotted a handful of students in the corridor. And one was bald! HAH! WAIT, IT WAS LAURA! Bursting into giggles, Zoe leant against a wall watching miss baldy. How had the girl managed to get hexed? and could she congratulate the person?

Calvorio? She hadn't heard of that spell before and it definitely seem like a nice one, either. Bliss wondered where he'd heard it or found it, but decided not to ask. Ignorance was bliss, after all. "You know that was silly, anyway. Right?" Tut, tut. She said, looking him up and down - mainly up, because she was so short - to try and seem a little more .. threatening.

And .. "You'd better hope so, or Laura and everyone else will freak." No doubt about it.

You're on thin ice here, buddy.

Bliss could give an endless list of things about Laura that annoyed her - but she wouldn't, because that would be impolite and would also take too long. No time to waste when things like baldness were involved. "Sure, sure," she waved her off and literally unpeeled Laura from her. Jeez, she could be clingy and if Bliss could read her cousin's thoughts, she would not be impressed. Not at all.

"Right then. You'll have to hold still and be quiet. Do you think you can do that?" Bliss teased, holding her wand out, ready.

No comment on the younger girl's appearance.

None at all.

Laura looked at Nigel, she was not going to accept the apology until she knew her hair was safe and she wasn't bald anymore, she was really upset with the way she looked now. "I'll think about accepting that apology if my hair grows back." Laura just stared at Nigel she was annoyed with him.

Laura looked at her cousin and just stared at her, was her cousin teasing her now, it wasn't fair if she was because she was bald here. "I think I can cuz." Laura smiled as she stood as still and as quiet as she could, she was going to try her hardest to do as best as she could, she just stood there quietly and still, see she could do it when she wanted to and she totally ignored what Zoey was doing.

Nigel almost smirk at Bliss, threatening by looking up at him. It was so cute because she was so short. But besides that, he agreed with her and nodded.

Nigel just crossed his arms and also nodded at Laura. Sounded reasonable. Lets hoped the charms work because then Nigel would being even more trouble. He did not want to lose more points than he already did for the "shenanigans", which were just awesome fireworks, down at the lake.

Nigel took his wand out just in case. Bliss' spell did not work. But he had confidence that she could do it.

Awh, poor Laura was feeling hurt? Tough. She'd be fine soon. Okay, maybe that was a bit mean, but Bliss was still holding onto a couple of grudges. Her cousin was just ridiculous sometimes, especially with accusations. At least this time, she wasn't crying, she was probably too angry to do that, thank Merlin.

Anyway, onto the magic part.

"Good," she said to Laura and gave a small smile - the same way you give a dog a treat when it's being good. Okay, so, that was definitely mean that time. Good job Laura couldn't read her thoughts and her face was a blank mask, so that couldn't be read either. Don't even try it. With her wand held steady, she muttered the appropriate charm - the same one she'd used on Theodore when she'd accidently grown his hair out TOO long - and watched it grow. Slowly, while Bliss held her wand still, the hair grew. Just past her shoulders it reached, before Bliss stopped and beamed, proud of her wandwork. "Is that long enough?"

He'd nodded. Good. That meant he understood the absolute seriousness of her possible mini-person-rage. While she liked Nigel - he was a pretty cool guy - she knew that doing something like what he had done, was only going to cause him and anyone involved grieve. He should have known this, after all, it was Laura he'd, um, pranked?

Bliss watched Nigel as he stood there with his wand in hand. What, had he not thought she could do it? Hadn't he heard about the wonderful job she'd done on Theo's hair? Well, clearly not. "All done," she announced and put her wand away in her pocket. "Don't do it again, Nigel and .. if you do, do something less drastic?" Because less-drastic-but-still-a-prank is what Laura deserved in her opinion.

Laura looked at Bliss and smiled as her hair grew again, she was happy, she didn't like being bald, she stood still and quiet, why couldn't people realise that she had changed, though she knew it would take time for everyone to realise it. "Thanks Cuz." Laura was really glad that her cousin hadn't left her bald, because she didn't like the way she looked without her hair. "That is perfect." Laura took out a mirror and stood there smiling at her cousin, she decided not to hug her cousin because she had this feeling her cousin didn't like her that much at the minute, which made her sad.

Laura just stared at Nigel, she was still upset about her hair but she wanted to show everyone she was changing. "Nigel promise me next time your mad at me you'll talk to me and not destroy my hair." Laura just didn't think it was nice being bald.

Nigel had not heard about the wonderful job she had done on Theo's hair. But he did not doubt it. Rabid Badgers are Rabid. Nigel could not disagree with her. You don't want short hufflepuffs mad at you. That is a fact. Nigel uncrossed his arms and put his wand away impressed by her spell work.

Less-drastic. Ah. Nigel understood. So he could prank Laura. Just don't use curses and such that cause changes. "Understood" Nigel said as un-sarcastically as possible. Which was really hard. Nigel loved sarcasm.



Well it was not like Nigel could say no. He did not want to be any more mean than he already was. "I Promise". Well it seemed that Laura was turning over a new leaf. That or was bidding her time before she prank himed back. Nigel would not know until he was pranked.

This whole situation only really proved one thing. Bald was definitely not beautiful.

So, after the trip to the Great Hall, Sky made her way up to the first floor and some windows that were in the corridor. Chosing one towards the middle, she approached and begin looking for Polaris again. Which was a little harder from here, for some reason. Maybe since it was a little higher, and therefore closer to the sky? Whatever the deal was, she was having a bit of trouble finding it, or even Ursa Major or Minor......

.......oh there they were. And there was Polaris. Good.

Reaching the corridor, Tobias glanced over at Kace before starting to set off. He wasn't entirely sure that he knew WHAT he was looking for or even if they'd stumble across any secret passages but there was sure to be a whole load of interesting things even in the general school area.

"So I suppose we can just... walk and talk?"

Kace wanted to continue their conversation back at the portraits. "Yeah we can walk and talk and i will admit i did some chaser research before i was on the quidditch team. I didn't wanna look like a loser and not know anything..." she shrugged and grinned sheepishly.

He was walking down the corridor and wondering what they could do to explore. "Now i am wondering what we can explore first." he grinned at Tobias.

"I didn't know what quidditch WAS before I came here," Tobias replied as the strollllled along. "Well... I think my grandfather might have mentioned it, but I didn't actually realise until I was here. And then I tried out." To be honest even when trying out he wasn't TOTALLY clear. He just wanted to try flying and trying out was the best opportunity and it was actually the first time he'd ridden a broom. "I kinda wanna find out the history of it too, but I'm saving that for something to do this summer."

What they could explore?

Hmmmmmmm.

Kace nodded when Tobias explained about trying out for Quidditch. Kace decided to explain why he tried out. "Well my sister used to play and then i wanted to see what all the fun was about. I was mainly playing Keeper when i played games with my cousins and all. But being chaser i had more fun which is why i wanted that position. But you are a MUCH better keeper than i would ever have been on the field." he motioned toward him. It was the truth.

Then he saw Tobias was looking for somewhere to explore. Hmmm...where could they go? He noticed he was skipping. Kace smiled and chuckled. They seemed to share the same interests and all. Even the little things like skipping aimlessly and circling. I guess it was a firstie thing. Then he mentioned something about a swamp? Hmm...he wanted to look for it? He was SO IN.

"Pshh...YEAH i wanna go look for it!" he said like it wasn't even a question. "Let's go!" he said and running to go look for it.

Laura decided that it was time for some exercise, she decided that she would do some star jumps and hope that no one was watching because they would think that she was weird, she started to do some star jumps and she did them for ten minutes.
