Lottie was far too busy watching the hourglasses from afar. She'd decided to keep her distance from them since, well, Vinteren might get ideas if he saw her so close to them. Christmas smiled at the girl who mentioned the gems and said "Yeah i guess so i hadn't noticed that we had so little gems cause of what happened earlier in the term" Christmas thought that this was a good subject to talk about because it would be a welcome distraction from her studying

The gems weren't really that little, and she knew for fact what size they were. Though, only the rubies, because Lex had the sapphires and topazes. And the goblins had all the emeralds. Pretty emeralds. Was it Professor Airey the one who filled these hourglasses? Probably, yes.

"Truth be told...," she promised she would tell the truth from now on, anyway, "...I had taken them for granted until the goblins took them, but they were rather pretty." Even the yellow one, which she didn't truly like.

And what she was referring to with the 'earlier' part of the term? "What happened?" Better to ask.

Christmas smiled and said "Well with the way the school is this year you had to wonder why the goblins came here in the first place and taking the gems from the housepoint counter means that there is something wrong here but really that is just what i am thinking at the moment"

Oh, well, of course. They'd all been wondering what could possibly be wrong with Hogwarts the moment the feast started. If you could say it ever did. By now, they all knew it was an economic issue, no doubt. What had truly happened she didn't know, surely they'll know one day, until then...

There were lots of things one could do about this. No form of protest, though, because the Headmistress has made it clear that we're all supposed to try and make the best out of this. Which is why the only valid option was: "We can always have ice cream." Yup, she was being serious.

One, it was free if you went to the kitchen to get it, and not the Great Hall. Two, Lex would KILL whoever tried to take the ice cream machine away. Lottie was sure of it, Lex was capable of doing such a thing. Her best friend was fierce when it came to chocolate, and ice cream, and chocolate ice cream.

"They really don't bother me. It bothers me a little having to carry around change while at Hogwarts, though," and she carried ENOUGH, in case they started to change at the Entrance Hall.

Cat had 'held' Titus's ear and mostly rubbed it and scratched his head for the time it took them to reach the entrance hall, she even lean!walked and gave the bunny a kiss. But after that, she dropped her hand and grabbed up Mo's instead. The boy needed attention too, Cat was good at giving boys attention.

"Okay, maybe one hint." Maybe one would be good. Cat did like surprises but she was too excited to not have one hint. She gave a little bounce too.

Even though this was ostensibly Titus's date with Cat, and even though both of them were dressed the exact same, and even though he'd told her to hold Titus's ear... Mo was a little jealous by the time they reached the entrance hall. Titus was HOGGING all the attention. He got kisses even.

When Cat took his hand back, Mo tucked Titus into his jacket pocket and swung her hand gently in his. "Baciami? That's not your hint, but please?"

See? Boy needed attention. Cat grinned and placed a finger to her lips. "Shhhh." Mo was asking for kisses and Cat was happy to comply. Except first she glanced around to make sure there were no professors about. She was still trying to avoid detention. So far, she'd done super well. Knock on wood.

She bounced again, but this time it was to place a quick kiss on the boy.

Tobias had just gone for another of his impromptu sprints around the grounds, like he sometimes did to get rid of his excess energy. This time, however, he'd made sure to steer WELL clear from the forest and anywhere near where the Fright Fest had been... 'cause that really HAD been a fright fest and the WORST kind and TOBIAS WASN'T THINKING ABOUT IT NOPE.

Of course that meant he'd not gone as far as usual and was now still relatively bouncy and energetic, even if a little bit out of breath. So now he was stood in the middle of the entrance hall wondering what to do. He didn't want to pay to go back to his common room because he was sure he'd just want to leave again. Maybe he could visit a professor? Did Professor Starman come out at day? That was way up the top of the castle, and he could do with going up there... but no... no he was still way too energetic to be able to SIT and have a CHAT.

Toby hadn't realised it, but as he'd been thinking he'd started to lightly bounce on the balls of his feet and then gradually progressed to full on jump!bouncing on the spot.

What to doooooo?

Harvey was walking through the Entrance Hall on his usual walks through the castle when he needed to think about... stuff. When he almost walked into somebody cause either he wasn't looking where he was going or they weren't. He took a step back and out of the way as the other person seemed to be jumping on the spot, Harvey looked up to see a little guy just... jumping there.

Was this kid ok? maybe Harvey would ask him to see what was up? Oh wait was he trying to get to something? Harvey looked up to see if he was but he couldn't see anything interesting unless you counted all the marks and stains from all the years this school had been here, bleugh.. those were horrible... and mysterious anyways back to jumping Jack kid. He thought it was best to ask "Hey.. um.. you ok? you trying to get something? you know you can always ask someone to get something for you if you cant, don't need to tire yourself out from all the jumping" to be honest just watching the kid jump was tiring Harvey out! Man this kid was a jumper... and he looked like a firstie too. Was he like this when he was a firstie? He didn't think he was...then again anything was possible when he was a firstie all those years ago now it seemed.

Tobias BOUNCED on the spot but turned slightly mid-jump, all the better to see who was talking to him. He didn't recognise the obviously much older boy, but gave him a smile nevertheless. Because Tobias was LIKE that.

"Oh no, I'm not trying to get to anything!" he said cheerfully.

BOUNCEBOUNCEBOUNCE.

"I just have loooooooads of energy? Don't you?" SERIOUSLY. There was hardly ANYONE in this place even a LITTLE bit energetic. Some people said they felt tired just looking at Toby. He grinned at the older boy. "Would you like to bounce with me?"

Anyaaaaa spun on the spot happily in front of the entrance doors. Every time she turned toward the dungeon entrance she kept a look at for her Snakey. Why? Because today was going to be an adventure!

She was planning on blindfolding herself and seeing if she could keep from hitting things! Didn't that sound like fun? Because it was going to be!

Skip. Skip. Skip. She was skipping up from the dungeon searching for her baby lion vub cause today they were going to DO STUFF!!!! That was always exciting. Always! Cause anya was a fun person and so was ariana and together it was just this awesomr explosion of FUN.

"what. Are you doing?" she asked as she skipped over to her as she spun... blindfolded.... "and why are you blindfolded???" weird cub was weird.

It was kinda weird if she was being honest. She couldn't remember the last time she bounced anywhere--granted it wasn't so long ago, probably a day...two...she didn't knoooooow but she wanted to go out and DO something. Probably once, she'd lost the bounce.

THIS was why she and Felix were setting out to look for it. The kneazle didn't seem all that enthused but he was giving her extra snuggles now SO WHO CARES!!! Kneazle in hand, she entered the Entrance Hall, about to make her way to the grounds. Once there...Felix would sniff it out and she'd be back to normal in no time.

Er...blindfolded Anya and Logan...interesting. Maybe they knew where he bounce went?

She walked up to them. "HAI!" She yelled but it sounded kinda pathetic if she was being honest.

Anya finished adjusting her tie over her eyes and made sure she couldn't see.

"SNAKEY!" she exclaimed turning around to try and figure out where the voice came from. Why was she blindfolded? Pfft. As if she hadn't done this before.

"I want to see if I can make it somewhere without hitting anything." she said matter-of-factly.

OH! More voiiiices. Lovely. Anya tilted her head to the side and listened. "Aaaaaalexa?" she guessed. And yes. She did say Alexa. Or maybe a Lexa? Or possibly even A Lex, uh?

Something like that.

"right." cause that was totally normal to do. So... maybe.. oh Anya could follow the sound of her voice around the school and that could be FUN! And she could possibly, maybe, hopefully not bump into EVERYTHING and ariana would laugh! Good idea.

"oh we cou....." she was interrupted. Uhm.. RUDE CAMBRIDGE!

Rolling her eyes at the youngest lion she grimaced at the girl before remembering her sharing her chocolate the other day, something she knew was hard for the girl..."Hey Cambridge. " Ariana was being nice. Dont screw it up alexa.

She heard what Anya said she was doing. That was supposed to sound epic and she would have offered to try too but she didn't...? Okay. Maybe next time then. She felt Felix reach up and lick her face. He was much nicer when she was upset. Now if only she knew what she was upset about--eh, back to these two!

Lex nodded at Logan but didn't bother sending one Anya's way on account of she was blindfolded and wouldn't see anyway.

"Did you do that all the way down here...? Even on the moving stairs?? I imagine that would be fun." Which was what she was looking for. Fun. Something to make her bounce through the roof like before. "Are you gonna try next?" She asked, giving a curious look to Logan.

If not...could she go next? Running around sounded like it could do the trick! It haaad to. This wasn't a good feeling.

Anya shook her head. "Not the entire way." She didn't know the whole way. Especially the bits near the library.

"We could go where?" she asked turning in the general direction of where Ariana's voice. She then shrugged in response to Lex's question. "Haven't decided."

Maybeeee outside somewhere? That would be a challenge. She didn't have nearly any of the grounds memorized.

"we could...." she couldnt remember.... "i dont remember..." boo. Sad!face ... anyway... they could.. "oh, we can play Hide and Clap!" they did know what that was right??? Or was she just crazy and made that up???.....


They should play anyway!

Alexa stood silently and watched them talk between themselves about what Anya could do seeing as she was blind folded. She could have and would have volunteered an idea or three but the inspiration wasn't coming. You know what would be nice though?

"Logan? Will you hold me?"

Snuggles, she wanted snuggles but Anya was blind-folded and probably didn't give hugs when she was in that state. "It doesn't have to be for long but hugs are appreciated." She paused giving it some thought. "Or maybe...Anya...can I have a hug?" This was why she NEEDED Vivi, for moments like these.

Wait. Hide and Clap. "I think I know that game. If you all play, can I play too?" You know...it might make her feel better.

"I prefer Marco Polo." Anya said brightly. And she was all for playing that in dangerous places blindfolded. What was the worst that would happen?

Wait. Did... Lex want a hug? Anya could do that. She held her arms wide open. "'m ready." she said. Then they could play. And it would be fun!

She then nodded. "Sure. You can play." She said happily. It wasn't something she'd normally do... but... she was in a good mood and Lex was fine with her today. "Just don't make me run into anything on purpose." On accident was totally forgivable though.

She blinked at Ariana. Hadn't she heard her just now when she asked...? "A hug...I was asking you for a hug because it might make me feel better. Can I have one?" There wasn't impatience in her tone, she just REALLY needed a hug.

OooooOOooOOoooo!! Anya would give her one!!

She put Felix down then walked toward the older girl, giving her a snuggly hug before letting go and smiling just a bit (not that she would see). "Thanks." The moment she released her she felt her kneazle pawing away at her foot. He may have cared more when she was down but he was also more needy. Lex picked him up, her smile getting wider. She could play!!

"We could play in here, just run around screaming 'polo' whenever you say 'marco'. It's a big enough area and I'd be sure to tell you if you're about to fall over." Lex would keep her eyes on the game and on the blindfolded one.

"Was that a 'no' to the hug, Logan?" Wibble.
