The Great Hall is flanked by two large, thick, wooden doors that often make a BANG! sound when flung open by dramatic students and/or staff. There are large glass windows in need of a good washing at the end of the Hall above the staff dais, the usual enchanted ceiling over everyone, and the four regular house tables lined up neatly in the middle.
Whether you make an entrance or choose to simply enter the Great Hall, you'll still be wowed by its size and architecture every time. You might also be surprised at how... dirty the place looks this year. Hmm. | |

Still grumbling under his breath about how stupid this was, Daichi dragged the vacuum cleaner behind him as he walked past the entrance towards the Great Hall. He looked around and noted that this place was pretty good to do this stupid assignment.
SERIOUSLY STUPID! This had nothing to do with Astronomy! This was just....simply cleaning up! Try to make a black hole effect? "Pfft yeah right" He stopped and took out his wand. He pointed it at the hose and said "Vacavus!" The vacuum cleaner turned to life and he grabbed the hose with his hands.
"Stupid, stupid ugh" he grumbled again as he began to use the vacuum cleaner to suck up the dust in the corner. Done there, he moved to the other side and vacuumed there as well. After a few minutes, he decided that it was enough. He stopped the cleaner and looked around. It wasn't cleaned up perfectly but what-ev-er!

Standing on the other side of the turnstiles, Chris looked around for Elise and that Mo kid he had seen carrying her. Just because he hadn't been there to take care of Elise himself, did not mean that random guys could go around carrying her for him. Nope. A strong female should've done it.
Was Chris jealous? Not at all. He just didn't see why this guy had to put his arms around his girlfriend and hold her all snug and tight. Hadn't he ever heard of distance? Or SPACE? S-P-A-C-E. It was a simple concept, really. Chris saw it more as, 'Get away from her.' To each his own.
What if...the guy had tripped and fell on Elise or she fell on him and they looked into each other's eyes and fell madly in love?! What if they accidentally kissed and that was the end to his relationship? WHAT IF SOMETHING HAPPENED ON THEIR WAY OVER TO THE GREAT HALL AND IT WAS TRAGIC AND HE LOST ELISE FOREVER?!
Christopher clenched his jaw at the mere thought of it and contemplated going out to find them himself. Instead, though, he stood stiff against a wall and waited very impatiently. Surely they'd show up eventually, right?

In the time it'd taken her to get her business done at the staff table the Headmistress had gotten FAR, like all the way to the entrance far! Merlin! Just how much sugar had the woman had? She was starting to reconsider these cookies but seeing as she'd already gotten people to bake them for her... "Headmistress!!! Headmistress Truebridge!! I got your cookies!!!" She skipped over to the woman who was inspecting the dirt factor. "I wasn't sure if you wanted double chocolate chip or just regular chocolate chip so I got you the latter--but I could make you some of those if you want." She was still eyeing the woman suspiciously. Had she not gotten some of the syrup? Why was she...skipping? Merlin, someone tell her this wasn't happening all over again!!
Or maybe...she really WAS just HAPPY to be leaving. Lex was!

Bunz was suddenly overcome with a wash of sentimentality, so much so that she nearly choked up when the girl skipped over to her. She let her hands fall down from the door and turned toward Alexa with open arms.
"Cooookies?" For herrrrrr? "Regular chocolate chip is just fine, Ms. Cambridge," she assured her, hands still making grabby motions for the cookies. Finally, something she might be able to eat in this dirty castle full of poorly-cooked food!
