Care of Magical Creatures was Ella's favorite and she arrived with a smile on her face. Looking around, she was surprised to see no Professor but she did note the open barn doors. Shrug. Maybe she'd be bringing some creatures out? That'd be neat.

Tag was making his way down to Care of Magical Creatures and spotted that he was one of the early birds here. Well, this was a change for him. He usually arrived to class when the room was more filled up. So he simply took a seat on one of the front benches. Looking around he spotted Ella and gave her a small nod as he waited for the teacher to arrive.
Oh. Another student. Penelope. As she walked through Tag returned her wave with a quick wave back at her.

Another CoMC class. Would they be gathering something else to sell in this lesson? Penelope sorta hoped so. Could always use extra money. But if not, hopefully it'd still be fun and interesting at least so that she could still enjoy it.
And...the professor wasn't here? Hm. Maybe that was a good sign? Maybe she was keeping whatever they were learning about hidden, which hopefully meant it was something awesome. Since Ella and Tag were the only other ones here, Penelope waved and offered a smile before taking a seat. Didn't feel like striking up a conversation right now though. Just hopefully the lesson would start soon.

Ethan made his way to the makeshift classroom once again for the next CoMC lesson, vaguely wondering why it had to be outside. It was cold and he wasn't immediately feeling the warmth of a heating charm.. Maybe he should cast one himself?
He didn't see the professor in the vicinity, but spotted a couple of other students already there. Giving them each a small smile and nod as he walked past them, the boy took a seat on one of the benches near the front and pulled his cloak tighter around him, waiting for class to begin.

Mika was excited for this lesson. The last one had been awesome - yeah? Loads of people collecting and then selling Ashwinder eggs. She wondered what they were going to do today and practically bounced into the room. And then as she arrived she saw the pasture.
"Hello Professor Barlow!" she beamed and glanced at the pasture. She took a seat next to Ella. "So we are working with the pasture then?" She asked and glanced over to her - she was beaming. "I wonder if this has anything to do with Broc and Bonny!" She was excited alright and it had been a while since she had collected and given treats to those two lovely guys.

He hoped the creatures weren't too dangerous to deal with....But they probably weren't since they were at the barn.

Completely void of anything even remotely shiny, as requested, Sky walked over to the benches set up for class and sat. She had a pretty good idea of what they would be studying this class (see request about shiny stuff) and was completely cool about it, as long it meant that they wouldn't be selling anything. Another thing that she would be completely cool with is if no one mentioned ice cream. But fat chance of that happening, since that seemed to be the only thing that some people were talking about. Sigh.

Minerva made her way down to COMC. What a great class this was. They were outside in the winter. Which of course was one of her favorite season, so it didn't bother her one bit. Some students were already there, but not many so she wasn't late.
Oh but the professor wasn't there yet either, well she would be there in time. Now where to sit, it didn't take long for her big smile to turn towards a bench near the front.. NEAR THE FRONT.. Did he do that on purpose she eyed him with a small chuckle as she sat. "So I have either trained you well or you just forgot you typically didn't sit close to the front before." She slide nudging him as she sat. Almost bouncing she turned, "So what do you think we are learning about today, I hope it's something really neat, but it probably will be since it is about animals."

Beezus was a big fan of CoMC, she discovered just fairly through the term. Maybe because they always got to work on something interesting...and really, magical creatures were always interesting....even if they're scary or ugly or you know. Or perhaps it was also because they had a gorgeous new Professor. Gotta love classes with attractive Professors, no?
So here she was, blundering off to the pasture where the makeshift classroom was closely located. No sign of lovely Professor Barlow but there was a notice in front. Take a seat and prepare. Yep, she could do that.
Sitting, prepping, waiting. Pretty much.

Taking a seat, he started getting out his notebook, inkwell, quill...Stuff he'd need for the lesson. Seems like they'd be starting soon, anyway.

Not the most comfortable seat. But he hoped they would not be sitting for much longer. Now the only thing left to do was wait for Professor Barlow to appear and start the lesson.

CoMC. She liked this class, like a lot! Especially the last lesson that brought them closer to the giant fridge in the forest. There was ice-cream somewhere in there and though she was sure the Professor wouldn't let them go looking it was just nice knowing they were close enough.
She skipped over to the barn...no Professor, no ice-cream, but people! Lex waved at the ones she knew and actually liked then took a seat. Not a steady seat from what she could tell. It was a bit shaky at the legs. This, she saw as good fun and proceeded to rock it a few times. Heeeeeeey, this was actually quite fun!!! Rock rock rock.
Good stuff. Everyone else with a shaky seat should have tried this.

Mack was excited about Care of Magical Creatures, so the grin on her face as she made her way to class had nothing to do with Quidditch practice that Gryffindor had the night before, even though she was sure that they were going to be the team to beat this term...
The blonde frowned when she didn't see Professor Barlow around the benches that were scattered around.. hmmm that's odd, I like to greet my professors but seeing as how she couldn't she took a seat on one of the front row benches and waited on the woman. Looking around she noticed that the barn doors were open, no doubt where Professor Barlow had disappeared to since setting up class..

Anya entered the barn licking her lips. She had once again managed a pit stop to the kitchens for ice cream on the way to class. (Mm, ice cream!) She looked around and didn't spot the Professor. No big deal. She gave a quick shrug and headed to one of the benches.
After sitting, she quickly slid off her ring and slipped it into her pocket. The noticeboard seemed... curious. And as good a mood as the Gryffindor was in, she didn't really want to be attacked by anything.
Now all there was left to do was wait. It was a shame she didn't think to bring more ice cream to entertain herself while she waited.

Hearing a small amount of chatter outside the barn, Peyton figured the students had arrived and decided to get things underway. She double-checked the crates she'd been working on then walked out the barn and into the classroom area.
"Alright, alright. Quieten down now," she said, noting a few students still standing. "Take a seat, and let's get things underway." She grinned at the class before her. She had no ice cream in hand at the start of this lesson, but Merlin she could do with some right now come to think about it. Nevermind that, though.
"Good afternoon, class. We'll start today with a simple question to get your mind to rolling. What can you tell me about treasure hunting in the wizarding world?" she asked.
