Raven walked into the barn area with her hands in her pockets and a vacant smile on her face. "Good evening professor!" This looked like a nice place to have a lesson. She didn't see any creatures, maybe they were just going to talk about them. Wait, was that ice cream the professor had? Oh yeah! Raven smiled to herself as she went to find a seat, her mind dwelling over the texture of ice cream. So creamy, so cold... |
Tag walked towards the place where the care of magical creatures lesson was being held. After making his way he found the professor licking an ice cream cone. With a quick glance Tag looked around to see if his ice cream addicts were here. An yes, they were, he saw Alec and Ella. "Hello professor. I do believe my friends are quite jealous of you at the moment." He said with a warm smile as he nodded at his Professor's ice cream cone. "They're ice cream addicts, and they must be staring longly at you. Hope today's class will be interesting." The little gryffindor concluded as he went around to go find a seat for himself. |
Care of Magical Creatures was one of Mo's faaaaavorite classes, and he was thrilled right out of his socks that it was meeting. Right now. Outside in the sun. And the professor had ice cream. Merlin, he wanted some ICE CREAM. "Good day, Professor," Mo nodded at the woman, although he could never have reported back on what she looked like. Her ice cream, though, he could definitely have reported on THAT. |

Making her way down to class she noticed the new professor and smiled, "Hello ma'am, I'm Minerva Wheatborn, welcome to Hogwarts." As she greeted the professor she saw exactly where she was going to sit out of the corner of her eye. Turning she headed straight for the open spot on a bench next to a certain Ravencalw. Smiling and saying quick hellos to other classmates, she finally turned to Ethan, "You keep getting to class first.. I'm starting to think I'm rubbing off on you a bit." She smiled and then turned to get ready for the lesson to start. |
Swinging her bag as she went, Lily made her way down to the CoMC lesson. She had noticed that it was a new teacher again this term. Willy had left for his dragons a couple terms ago. Former professor Newlin had just kinda disappeared without giving a reason. So it was safe to say that the fifth year claw was curious as to how long this professor would last.... and whether or not this professor would be nice. But it didn't take long for this professor to make a good impression on Lily. What professor would feel comfortable to eat an ice cream in front of a class and not be nice??.... Actually... don't answer that... Lily wanted ice cream now. Instead, she just grinned at the professor and gave a small greeting before finding a seat. "Hello Professor." |

Always glad to be out of doors and breathing fresh air, Eliza had a sparkle in her eyes and a bounce in her step. She was having another good day. In fact, she'd been having a lot of good days this term, which was slightly unusual, but she wasn't complaining. She walked over to the makeshift seating placements and waved to new professor as she approached. "Hello, Professor. It's nice to meet you," she said with a smile. "I'm Eliza Dawnsel." She didn't feel the need to tell her she was a Ravenclaw, since her robes pretty much did that for her. Turning in a tight spin, she trained her eyes on her new eaglet pal, Tora, and took a seat next to her. "Hiya Tora," she said cheerily as she sat her bag by her feet. She looked back over to and added with a grin, "I love this class!" Now she wondered what in the great wide world of creatures they would be studying today. |
SPOILER!!: Tora and Eliza Isobel showed up to Care of Magical Creatures smiling, more excited for this class than she had been for some others. Her eyes darted to the professor, who was eating ice cream (jealous!) and then she spent a minute taking in the setting. The benches were somewhat expected, the class being outside and all, but it was still a huge difference from some of their other classes, holed up in unfortunately dusty classrooms that smelt slightly of mould. Now, the air was fresh, if somewhat crisp, and if there hadn't been a lot of people nearby, Isobel would probably have thrown out her arms and spun around. Instead, she skipped up to Tora and Eliza and slid onto the bench next to Tora, nudging her slightly as she did so. "Hiiiii!" she drawled. "How's it going, you two?" Hopefully she wouldn't get in trouble for chatting or anything, she was just doing basic greetings and the professor still seemed busy eating ice cream (still jealous!). Besides, class hadn't officially started yet. |
SPOILER!!: Eliza and Isobel :) Tora really loved having friends. Not that she didn't have any back home... but they were all muggles who she couldn't talk to about magic. Besides, they weren't here with her at Hogwarts! "Hey Eliza!" Tora turned to the older Ravvie with a big smile and then whipped around when she felt a nudge on her other side. "And Isobel! Hiiii!" This professor seemed pretty chill, eating ice cream up front (agh and not sharing!), so Tora wasn't too afraid to start up a conversation. "Well I'm going pretty good, still gotta do that Transfiguration homework though, and how's your day been?" she laughed and then asked both of them in a lower voice. "What do you think the new Professor is like? Any rumors or anything to share?" |
Michael was still hadn't worked out whether this was going to be a good class or not. While he did like animals and all, he had pet ferret, learning about how to look after them wasn't high on his list of priorities. He made his way down to where the rest of the class was. "Hello Professor." he said as he walked passed her and took a seat next to...someone. |
Tobias hadn't skipped to the class... don't be silly. Nor had he frolicked. No. He'd simply bounded across the grounds with great energy, and was still kind of bouncy when he arrived at the makeshift classroom area, slightly flushed and a little out of breath. "Afternoon, Professor!" he smiled brightly, finding a seat as close to the front of the class as he possibly could, after the seats that had already been taken. Then he saw it. The ice cream. It had been too long since Tobias had eaten anything other than that vile rubbish they served in the Great Hall, and his eyes were fixed to the treat. It was nearly gone, but it was still enough to make Tobias' stomach growl in hunger; breakfast had not been satisfying enough, and he'd skipped lunch altogether after realising he was a knut short. "Where'd you get that?" the boy said in what was almost a pitiful whine as he nodded at the ice cream, forgetting that he was in a classroom setting altogether. |
OOC: Hey, guys. I'm really, really sorry, but something's come up, and I'm unable to start class tonight. I really hate this has happened on my first class, but things sometimes can't be avoided. Don't worry, though--I'm okay! I have to work tomorrow, but I'll try again tomorrow evening. Please feel free to continue RPing your charrie coming to class. Thanks, everyone, and I apologize again! :glomp: |
SPOILER!!: Tora & Isobel She was glad to know a few of the new Claws in her classes. It made everything a little bit more fun. She would have been having even more fun however, if the new professor had brought enough ice cream and cones for everyone to have one. I wonder if she did...I'd really like some. It's such a nice day out and ice cream would really just make it even more awesome... She made herself pay attention to the girls next to her though and not so much to the ice cream cone that was dripping down the side of its cone, taunting her taste buds and making her mouth water. She lowered her voice to show the younger girls that while some pleasantries were usually okay in the beginning of class, full blown conversations usually got some narrow-eyed looks. "I'm great Isobel, thanks for asking." She listened as Tora mentioned her homework and the new professor. Now that is something we definitely shouldn't discuss in class. She could have super hearing for all we know! So because of this, Eliza kept her answer extremely positive and brief. "Nope, nothing yet. But she's pretty and she must be nice if she likes animals, right?" She gave them both an excited grin in anticipation of the lesson that was surely about to start any moment now. |
*glomps Anna* Well, at least outside you expected to get dirty. Unlike inside the castle. But pretty much anywhere you went these days, you were bound to run into dirt. Which explained the spot of dirt she had on the lower part of her shirt from brushing against the door was she was walking out. Surely this professor wasn't like Bellaire about tidyness. She was in the wrong line of work if she was. Though Sky got the idea that this professor was a little more lighthearted since she was just finishing an ice cream cone as she made her way into the makeshift classroom. "Hello, Professor," she greeted before taking a seat on one of the benches and placing her bag on the ground beside her. Teach us something, professor. |
Swinging her bag as she went down to the CoMC lesson. Wondering what the new Professor would be like. She hadn't really payed attention during the feast. She wondered how many Professors would teach CoMC her whole seven years at Hogwarts, during the six years it was like three right, counting the newest one. Upon coming to the lesson, it didn't take long for Nerida to like the Professor she seemed chill... A smile appeared on her face as the realization occured that she was eating an ice cream cone and she was chill. Nerida wanted ice cream now, she would have to find some later. She gave a wave towards the professor and said "Hello Professor, welcome to Hogwarts!" |
...and Tora, Isobel, Eliza ^.^ ICE....CREAM. Like...holy snitch. Their gorgeous new Professor was eating ice cream. In class. So...excitement taking up a whole new level right here. Beezus practically bounced towards the woman, "Hellooo Professor! " She really was gorgeous, more so up close..the Ravenclaw thought. "And welcome to Hogwarts. The woman earned a broad smile and slight bow from her before she scuttled off to take a seat...but not before she eyed the ice cream cone on the woman's hand. Yeah. *eyeeeeeees* She also eyed her chickadees, as Mo like to call them, aka the younger Ravenclaws and sat next to them (beside Eliza specifically) and interrupted their little chit-chat. Interrupted Maybe that was why Addy hated her so much, because she tended to put a stop to the funsies. Only when it was necessary though. Besides, they were in class and even if it hasn't started yet...it was still ill-mannered if her Ravenclaws kept on talking with a Professor in front. She nudged Eliza gently, leaning in to peer at the two first years, "Keep the chatting low, okay girls?" Beezus winked at the trio before shifting her attention back to the ice cream. Because ice creams required fervent attention like that. |
Susan headed to the barn for Care of Magical Creatures class. She always liked this class and getting to see all the different kinds of creatures that existed. She hoped they would get to meet something fluffy and cute this semester. When Susan walked into the classroom she waved to the new professor. Then did a double take, was she eating ice cream. How cool was that?! Susan smiled at the professor, "Hello Professor, hope you are enjoying Hogwarts." Susan then went to go find a seat. |

Which made for twice in literally like two minutes that Tora was reprimanded. And one of them was given by a PREFECT. Great. She did feel bad about getting Eliza in trouble though. "Yeah probably," she agreed to Eliza lacking her former enthusiasm. She leaned behind Eliza for a minute to speak to the Prefect. "Ok! Sorry, and just so you know, it wasn't Eliza's fault." She then quickly turned back to her own space and pulled out a pencil. Remaining perfectly silent except for the scratch of the pencil doodling an ice cream in the notebook, she huddled in her seat with shame trying to keep to herself now. |
Care of Magical Creatures was interesting sometimes when they got to work with dangerous and interesting things of some sort, in Alice's opinion. She was hoping today was a day for treacherous animals as she chose a bench and greeted the lady with a "Morning, prof, welcome to Hogwarts." Also, were they going to go over the life cycle of a unicorn any time soon? Because she needed to brush up on that, or any other life cycles in general, for Aireyhead and star reasons. Right, though, this wasn't Astronomy, it was CoMC. Thinking cap on. |
She had basically run all the way to Care of Magical Creatures - she wasn't even winded. Her face, you could tell she had just run because it was CoMC and she loved it. How could she not with her parents being magizooligists? She just beamed as she entered the make-shift classroom. When she looked around to find a friend to sit with she just balked - her bestie was here she hadn't had a class with him in a while...sure she'd seen him in Astronomy but that was a different story. She walked forward a bit and without speaking just took a seat on the end of the bench right next to him. Up close and in his personal space bubble. Yep. She had just squeeeeeezed her way in like a creepy mouse creeping into a room through a hole. "Hey Kaid - Ella, Alec" she beamed to them all. Beaming was good. Beaming was fun - and it kind of hurt sometimes. Glancing up at the Professor she noticed the ice cream and just eyed it. She wanted her ice cream. Well, no, she wanted one of her own. "Hello Professor" she smiled kindly in her direction. Yeah maybe she was just dreaming about ice cream cones - heck, it was obvious she was even holding her arm out like she was holding an ice cream cone in it. |
New professor and stuff yes? West was keen to see if this one would be any good. It was always interesting when new ones appeared since you could tell right away if you were going to learn good or not. Or at least he thought so. ... that was different. She was eating ice cream? Also... also... *nervous swallow* she was kind of... kind of... extremelygoodlookingandstuff. So much so that he didn't even look at certain people for once. Strange and stuff. Cough. West sat down without saying hello. For reasons. |
Animal class this way.... Yes she knows what the class is technically called. But its so long Aquila shortened it to Animal Class in her head. Less confusing is always good for her. “Goodmorning Professor...uhmm...” uhoh she forgot the name. Cue clumsily looking at her class schedule “—Peyton!” *extra bright beaming* |
Juliet was aware that there will be a new professor for the COMC subject. She saw her passed by through the Slytherin table during the feast but didn't really get the glimpse of who she was. Thankfully the headmistress did the job of introducing and all that. Making her way outside of Hogwarts and into their comfortable COMC classroom, Juliet couldn't wait to what they will be tackling today. Entering the place, Juliet saw the professor and WHAAAAAAT?!?!?!!? Is that what she think it is????? Juliet saw the professor eating ice cream? Now she wants ice cream. Share. Pouts. Juliet walked to find herself a seat and as she did, she gave the professor a smile "Lovely day for ice cream, Professor" she greeted. Only because she knows 90% of the people in this room would love some ice cream too---- including her. |
Care Of Magical Creatures. It's wasn't a hated subject of his, but it wasn't his favorite either. It was just there. He moved along the Benches and found a spot somewhere in the middle of everything. He watched and listened to everyones fascination with this new Professor eating of an Ice Cream cone. Geeze, it's just a food, and unhealthy for you too. Now if she was eating a tree of broccoli or a carrot, that would perk Oakey's interest in this new Professor. "Good Afternoon Professor." He said, as he set his things down below the bench. |
Remembering how mortified she was in Potions class when she was reprimanded for not greeting the Professor, Carsyn sat in a panic at the back of the benches trying to figure out what to do. Did she get up and walk up to greet the Professor? That would be so awkward, seeing as how she had already chosen a seat. She tried to make eye contact with the Professor and smiled, hoping that would be enough to not appear rude or disinterested. Sigh. Carsyn really needed to work on her people skills. |
Kommoto ran in to somebody on his way to the class. "I'm so late", he moaned. He found the class nestled between a barn and some other building. Joining the group, he caught his breath. When he had recovered enough, he looked around, and realized that others were still coming in as well. Relieved, he leaned against the barn wall, happy to have made it to class. |
