Ethan wandered around the classroom a bit more, in search of another place to clean. Which, in all honesty, shouldn't have been too hard considering the state of the classroom.. but with all the students doing the same thing, he tried to look for an unoccupied spot of the room. And he didn't have to look long.

Ethan headed over to a corner at the back of the room. It was awfully dirty, dust and cobwebs filled the space, it even looked as though someone spilled something down the side of the wall and failed to clean it up. Not only was it in a dismal state, but it was just plain gross.

"Scourgify!" he commanded, pointing his wand at the grime. "Scourgify.. scourgify!" This extra dirty part of the wall slowly got clean as the dirt was magically cleared. Maybe the baseboard could use a little polishing as well, he thought as his eyes glanced downward. "Poliotus!" he commanded with an S shaped swish. It became a bit shinier, but he decided to hold off on that part for the walls. They didn't get polished too, did they? Did people do that?

A spell to clean windows, really? We need help with cleaning windows, we are human, right? Whatever, I'll try it anyway. "Vitrumania, no, vitromenia, no, vitramonia, close, vitromonia. Yes!" Oichi took out her wand and pointed it at the dirty window, "Vitrumonia!", and with thought of a clean window and a wave of her wand it happened, the dirt lifted. Yay, I could have done this with water and paper towel, what next?

Ethan moved away from the now clean corner of the wall and walked along the length of the classroom. It was starting to shape up from the work of the students and he looked for another place to clean. He came across another dirty window and turned his attention to it. Perfect opportunity to practice the glass cleaning charm, one that he found to be rather useful as opposed to the more superficial polishing charm.

He stood in front of the dirty window, noticing the caked dust in the corners of the pane and he pulled out his wand. Starting at the top, he swiped it in a line down the uppermost part of the window. "Vitrumonia!" The 17 year old smiled a bit as he noticed the sun now shining through the crystal clear window pane. He did the same to the bottom, pulling the wand down in a straight line and commanding, "Vitrumonia!" And now the rest of the window shone perfectly clear. Time to move on to another dirty spot in the room.

Sarah did not know that to clean first. There was simply too much to do! Scourgify would be first of course. Sarah just needed to find the perfect place for it. She looked around and noticed that the chair she was sitting on was a bit dirty. (Why she had noticed before it simply because Sarah Edwards always had too much things on her mind to look what she sits down on.). She stood in front of it and waved her wand "Scourgify" she casted on it. The smudges, grime and marks disappeared. Now she could safetly sit how she wanted to. That was what Sarah liked about magic, it worked fo rher especially when she was a lazy mood. Like packing in Hogwarts was much easie then packing at home. At home she could not use the folding charm that she would do to appease her mother, so instead she just dumped the clothes in, yet at hogwart she could do the folding charm

Surely they had to be almost done? Ethan was having an increasingly difficult time finding more things to clean as the entire class continued practicing their cleaning charms on the room. He wandered the room, pointing his wand at random spots that looked even remotely dirty. "Scourgify.. scourgify.. scourgify!"

He soon found himself in the middle of the classroom and his eyes fell on the floor in the aisle between desks. Seemed like many people were focusing on the outside perimeter of the room - walls, windows - and the desks. The floor in the middle of the room was a little neglected. He slowly walked down the aisle, pointing his wand at the floor as he went, "Scourgify.. scourgify.. scourgify!" Much better.

Minerva walked around the room watching the others. She wasn't sure she wanted to clean anymore. Didn't she do enough cleaning, but she knew it was important to keep practicing, but she was hoping to practice the other spells, even though most of them she had already done before.


Turning she noticed that there were some extra chairs in the back of the room. Well then that was where she was going to head. They needed cleaned just as much as everything else. Looking at what seemed to be very old chairs, Minerva pointed her wand "Tergeo Chair" She watched as the chair became clean. Oh they weren't as old as she thought now that they were clean. Moving on to the next chair, Tergeo Chair, going down the line cleaning off the chairs.

Once Kace was finished using the glass cleaner charm, he noticed the inside of his desk was really really dirty. Umm that needed to be severely cleaned. Kace used "Scourgify!" and then it was cleaned from all the cobwebs and dust. It seemed better. Then he saw the other desk next to it was dusty and cobwebby too. "Scourgify!" and then the other desk was cleaned.

He wanted to use Tergeo to clean his shirt off. It did seem dusty and grimy. He took his shirt off and good thing he had an undershirt underneath it. He cleaned it using "Tergeo!" and then his shirt was spotless. No dust marks and no grimy stains. Woahh it worked! He was happy. He needed to thank Minnie for showing him the charm before hand.

He walked around the classroom and noticed the stone below him was grimy and needed to be polished. Ah well what the heck. He said "Vitrumonia" and the grime was gone. Then he did the polish charm and said with the S formation "Poliotus!" and the stone was polished.

Easy peasy lemon squeezey.

A plan was beginning to form in her mind as she walked around the classroom being one of Knox's house-elfs cleaning. A plan involving signs and chanting. No amount of anything could convince her that she and her classmates having to take up the slack just because the Headmistress had managed to lose the school's house-elfs (a fact that was fishy in itself). But for now, she had to keep her head down and work. She stopped at a particularly dusty bookshelf. "Scourgify." She suddendly had the urge to perform an nonvocal Aguamenti on the books there, but with her luck, the woman would be watching her. So, she clamped down on that thought. "Poliotus." There, cleaned and polished, Mistress Knox. Sarcasm intended.

Now it was time for the last spell to complete her task, she needed to use a spell she had never used before. But… She was not afraid that it wouldn’t work, it didn’t seemed too difficult when the professor had demonstrated the spell. She just needed to wave her wand before the object she wanted to clean and to say the spell. Sonea was convinced that she could do it and looked at the window she stood before. The window was dirty before her, with the exception from the clean spot where the professor had demonstrated the spell and pointed her own wand at the window.

The black haired girl waved her wand and spoke the spell, “Vitrumonia” while she looked at the window before her. She had expected that the spell would do exactly what she wanted, but… That was not what happened, the spell did his work and cleaned something from the window, but not everything! Quickly she looked around her if somebody was watching her and had seen her mistake and tried it again, and this time the spell worked exactly as she had planned! Smiling Sonea knew now that she was done and she waited for the professor to tell them what she needed to do next.

Still under the desks, Sophie looked around after casting the last Scourgify. It seemed like all the dust was gone now! Lovely! She looked up at the desks above her head and smiled at the realisation that they were all clean.

Nice, she could work on the floor for a little longer, then.

"Poliotus!" She said, moving her wand in a S-shaped motion around the floor. Oooo, sparkly! The badger crawled backwards until she was under her own desk again, ready to get up. "Poliotus." She cast one last time, with the same wand movement.

Hmmm, looked good enough! Now.... what? The girl looked around, trying to find a dirty spot. Merlin, so many people around the classroom doing the same thing! It'd be hard to find som-- oh there was a dirty window there!

Sophie tried to make her way towards it. Which was... a bit hard right now. Buuuut there she went!

Once those were taken care of she rose to her feet again and took another look around the class. It was starting to look a whole lot cleaner then when they'd first entered. THIS was team work!

Lex made her way through the classroom, dodging the odd student every now and then that thought it would have been far more fun to simply run into her. You'd think half of them were convinced this was the point of the lesson! Helloooo, she was NOT that short anymore. They should have been able to see her just fine.

There was aslo one question she had.

If she created a mess then cleaned it...that still counted as cleaning, yeah? Technically she'd be fixing a problem, nevermind that she would have been the one to cause it in the first place.

She was gonna ask too but then she ran right into a desk that someone had missed in all their cleaning. "Scourgify!" Oh and she couldn't forget, "Poliotus!" Because every desk should have shined in this room. She was about to move on but then something caught her attention at the edge of the desk. Bending over to get a better look she saw---

EEEWWWWWW, gum! Gross! And a lot of them too!

"Deletrius!" UUUGGGH. "Deletrius! Deletrius!"

Kace was actually having fun cleaning up the classroom. It looked like his classmates were too. He wanted to try the new spells out. He wanted to try out Impervius. He looked at the window and wondered if that could be waterproofed. He went over and gave it a shot or maybe he shouldn't. His conscious got the better of him and decided it was too advanced and he didn't want to.

Kace look at his chair and noticed it was dusty. He said "Tergeo!" and then the chair was all clean and shiny. He smiled and was glad he got the hang of the spell. Then he saw a spider crawling towards him, he was not a fan of spiders at all. He saw it and decided to try "Deletrius" on it. He pointed his wand at the spider and said "Deletrius!" and then the spider vanished. He was quite happy.

He decided to try it out on the dust bunnies that were building in the back room he saw. He walked over and said "Scourgify" and then the dust bunnies vanished. The dust bunnies were no match when Kace was around. He had ammo.

Now, on to making the desk all shiny.

"Poliotus," Ryan said as he moved his wand in an S-shape over his filthy desk. The top looked slightly shiny but not quite as shiny as some of the other students. He contemplated doing the charm again but that would require more work...and he hated work. Grudgingly, he picked up his wand again and, moving it in an S-shape, he repeated the spell, making his voice more forceful. "POLIOTUS." It had worked; he could now see his reflection on shiny surface. Proud of himself, he looked around to find other places that he could tidy with the new spell he had learned.

Now that he was done with the windows as well as the frames, he turned his attention to the room in general. All around students were bustling about, getting the classroom cleaned. "Where should I clean next?'' he wondered to himself and looking around for another target.

The Puffer's eyes suddenly turned to the floor. The floor! Of course! No one was paying attention to it. Or maybe they were but he didn't see them. Time to get to work! Jory pointed his wand to the floor. "Tergeo!'' The dust was instantly siphoned off it. "Tergeo!'' More dust removed. "Tergeo!''

She didn't like this grumpiness that Professor Knox exuded but...she respected it. In some odd way - really, she'd only done that spell out of self defense. Clearly. She was being attacked by an eight legged creeper.

Fear in check and dissipated she took took out her wand and aimed it at the desk she had just cleaned off. Letting her wand move in a swift S shape she cast the spell. "Poliotus" in a moments time the desk was almost sparkling and bright. It was like life had been given to the wood. And that, was a good and much needed thing.

"Excuse me!" Sophie said, trying to walk across the room. Sorry! Excuse me. Repeating those lines a couple of times, the Hufflepuff finally got to one of the windows. The ONLY one that hadn't been cleaned yet, apparently!

Good! Because she wanted to try out this new spell. "V--" Wait, what was it again? She turned around to read the word from the blackboard and nodded. "Vitrumonia." Whoa, that was a bit more difficult. "Vitrumonia." Sophie repeated as she turned to face the window once again.

Alrighty! The brunette waved her wand across the part of the window she could reach. "Vitrumonia!" Aaaand it was sparkling clean! Lovely! Though... what about the upper part she couldn't reach?

Sophie kept looking up for a few seconds, wondering how she could clean that bit without having to climb on a chair or make something levitate.

People had already done Poliotus on the floor and it was now so shiny that he was in danger of slipping on it.

"Pretty sure that's a hazard," he muttered under his breath.

But he still had to practice the charm anyway so Ryan grabbed his trusty wand and walked over to a patch of floor in the corner of the classroom. Waving his wand in an S-shape again, he said, "Poliotus" and watched for any difference. Nothing happened, or if it did, he didn't see it because the floor was already so clean. Shrugging his shoulders, he deemed the floor clean enough and moved over to the windows.

"Scourgify!" Suds and bubbles over the desk as he waved his wand over another few desks. Followed by Wade making the 'S' wand movement of, "Poliotus!" There was still a lot needed to be done here.

After Wade had just polished another set a desks when, well, he started to feel it's repetitiveness. Well, there's still some windows and shelves here. Now he knew where to continue this at.

As Minerva finished up on the chairs she started walking towards some other chairs to clean when she thought she saw something move on the wall. Stopping she stared, what was that. Not really seeing anything she moved closer to the wall to take a better look. As she looked at the wall she saw something crawling quickly away. Grossss was that a spider, she got closer it was a spider. Pointing her wand at it "Deletrius" bye bye spider...

Now that the spider was gone Min decided the cobwebs had to go as well, "Scourgify" She watched as the cobwebs went away, then turned to the rest of the cobwebs hanging in that area. Oh goodness was that a cluster of spiders. They had a family of spiders living in their charms classroom. This day was getting better and better. Wand pointed, sorry little family Deletrius but off you go. "Scourgify" Now no more traces of a spider family.

Mika finally stepped forward and glanced at the rather grimy window infront of her. Her nose crinkled in disgust. "Ew ew ew" she muttered as she glanced at it some more. This thing, this vile window needed to be cleaned and fast.

Taking out her wand she drew a line in the air. "Vitrumonia" she spoke, and watched in a look of amazement as the windows suddenly were clean. It wasn't just a little bit cleaner but they had gone from grime and filth covered to sparkling. Seriously, it was a wonder she didn't cause the class to go blind as the light began to pour more effectively into the room.

Once again, most of the class (who were plainly much faster and cleverer than him) had already gotten to the windows and made them grime-free. Frowning to himself, he considered asking Professor Knox if that meant he was done and didn't have to bother with that last spell, Vimonia or whatever. Somehow, he had a feeling she wouldn't take to that excuse and so Ryan wandered around the room in search of something to clean. Really, they should have been allowed to roam the castle and practice the spell, it would give them much more room.

Finally, he settled on a grimy mirror that was hanging near the door. He brought his wand to it and, waving it, he said the incantation. "Vi--" What was it again? He looked to the board, craning his neck, and found it. "Vit-ru-mo-ni-ah. Vitrumonia. Vitrumonia." The last time he said it, he also waved his wand at the mirror and found, to his surprise, his own face looking back at him, which he couldn't see previously due to all the dirt buildup. Grinning, he performed the charm once more for extra cleanliness.

Woah.

As Jory was cleaning the floor, he came across a patch of dirt. Not like a small amount but it looked like a lot. All piles together and stuck to the floor. It looked gross. It was dark in colour and it just sat there looking ugly. He didn't know what made that but he surely was getting rid of it.

The badger pointed his wand at the thing. "Deletrius!'' he exclaimed. The thing suddenly disappeared. It was there one moment and gone the other. Good. Now the floor didn't have some ugly gunk occupying space.

Mika was ringing her hands together as she glanced around the room to find the next spot to clean. She practically skiiiiiiped her way over to the next window and tried to peer through the grime. That was no use.

Wand at the ready she swiped it down and spoke the spell. "Vitrumonia" and there. The window was now lit and illuminating a rather large spider hanging on the sill. "Oh nooooo" she squeaked and stumbled backward a bit. Even with Mr. hairy there, the room was radiating in a sheen of bright golden light. And the light was good. It light the darkness and made the creepy crawlies more visible.

Rubbing his face a bit, Ryan moved back to his desk sluggishly. Was it lunchtime yet? He felt like he had probably swallowed some dust and dirt in the process of this all this cleaning, which just made him hungrier for some reason. Sighing, he pointed his wand at a random book on a bookshelf and attempted to clean it.

"Scourgify," he said, waving his wand a little half-heartedly. Some of the dust disappeared. Happy and exhausted, Ryan sat back down at his clean desk and doodled on a scrap of parchment.

As Sky moved on, she walked into a dustier area that seemed like it hadn't been cleaned for years. It so bad that she ended up sneezing again. Not to mention the stuffy nose. Ugh. How was she supposed to perform spells like this? Well, outloud anyway. She knew she could do it nonverbally, but the question was, would Knox allow it? Only one way to find out. She aimed her wand at the dusty area and cast the Scourgify spell silently.

And now that the dust was gone, she could breathe. Yay! "Poliotus." Shiny. Next!
